OCT. 15 (SAT) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES & DRINKS.

OCT. 16 (SUN) NARITA NARITA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport and after clearing government formalities, proceed by bus to the hotel located close to Narita Airport. After hotel check in, it will be free time to meet your relatives, friends, shopping, or just rest.

OCT. 17 (MON) IWAKI SPA RESORT HAWAIIANS (ONSEN) ♨
Visit the massive Ushiku Big Buddha, a 394 feet tall Buddha statue. It is three times taller than the Statue of Liberty! You can go inside the statue and go up to the observatory by elevator and view the surrounding scenery. If timing is right, Cosmos will be blooming in the garden around this season. Later taste a seasonal autumn fruit in Japan. Enjoy "Picking Sweet Japanese Persimmon" in season. Then proceed to Iwaki and the Hawaiian Style Spa Resort Hotel known for their famed "Hula Girls". Their story was made into an award winning movie. It will be a good opportunity to visit the place this movie was about as well as supporting in the recovery effort from the "Great Tohoku Disaster in 2011". Enjoy soaking and relaxing in the big Hot Spring Bath & Open Air Roten-buro Bath registered as the "World’s Biggest Open Air Bath". After dinner enjoy seeing the "Hula Dance Show" as well as shopping, visiting the Hula Museum, etc.

OCT. 18 (TUE) INAWASHIRO HOTEL LISTEL INAWASHIRO (ONSEN) ♨
Enjoy shopping at Iwaki La La Mew Market carrying local seafood as well as dried seafood, seaweed and local souvenirs, handicraft etc. with lively atmosphere. Next visit Aqua Marine Fukushima Aquarium, exhibiting an extensive collection of various fish species and aquatic animals that live in this area which are kept under environmental conditions close to their natural habitats. You can enjoy walking through a transparent tunnel while watching the wealth of marine life. (Iwaki La La Mew and Aqua Marine Fukushima received extensive damage from the Tsunami and reopened in 2011). Later proceed to Lake Inawashiro, known as "Tenkyo-ko" (the Lake of the Heavenly Mirror) since it has the "world's highest degree of clearness". Our hotel is located on a hill offering a magnificent view of the lake. After hotel check in enjoy strolling around the hotel garden. Enjoy the Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Roten-buro Bath.

OCT. 19 (WED) AKIU HOT SPRING AKIU RESORT HOTEL CRESCENT (ONSEN) ♨
Head to the Urabandai Highland offering "attractive scenery with the harmonious beauty of nature created by the abundant woodlands and lakes". The most fascinating place is the Goshiki (five-colored) Pond, comprised of five marshes, each pond having its own color of water, which mysteriously changes emerald to cobalt blue and green with contrast between Autumn leaves. Also visit Lake Hibara, a picturesque lake comprising of clear blue water, jagged shorelines and numerous islets. Urabandai is also popular for autumn color viewing. We will enjoy driving through the Bandai Azuma Skyline located in the northern foothills of Mt. Adatara (5,577 ft), while enjoying panoramic views and breathtaking Autumn color (Depending on climate of the year) to Akiu, "One of the Best Three Onsen Hot Springs in the Tohoku Area". Good chance to soak and relax in the famous Akiu Hot Spring Bath.

OCT. 20 (THU) HACHIMANTAI HIGHLAND HACHIMANTAI ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning, stop at the Ohagi Store to enjoy shopping (Ohagi, is a rice ball covered with Anko Bean Paste). Akui is famous for its ohagi. This delicious local specialty is often sold out by the afternoon so we should visit the store early! Then proceed to Genbikei Gorge, a popular sightseeing place in the Tohoku Region in Autumn. Undulating rock layers and a river form an intricate landscape. If the timing is right colorful autumn leaves make the gorge a belt of brocade. And visit the Iwachu Casting Ironware Factory which makes the traditional ironware called Nanbu Tekki with more than 100 years of experience. You can purchase these items manufactured with the highest standard of casting technology. These traditional handicraft are both beautiful to look at and practical to use. Then go to our hotel surrounded by the vastness of nature. Soak and Relax in the Hot Spring Bath & Open Air Roten-buro Bath while viewing beautiful natural scenery.

OCT. 21 (FRI) HIROSAKI HOTEL NAQUA CITY HIROSAKI
Head to Lake Towada and visit "one of most famous autumn color spots". This mysterious lake is shrouded by dense woodland with beautiful colored Autumn leaves scenery. Ride a Cruising Vessel to enjoy its beautiful autumn splendor. In the afternoon drive along "one of Japan's most famous and popular autumn colors destinations Oirase Stream". If timing is right, we can see brilliant shades of red, yellow and orange autumn leaves with over 20 waterfalls along the stream. Then to Jogakura Bridge, which is "the longest bridge in Japan" with a length of 1,180 feet. You can walk over the bridge if you wish to. The bridge affords a wonderful view of streams famous as scenic sites in the Towada-Hachimantai National Park. Then proceed to our hotel, located close to the Supermarket and Hirosaki Station.

OCT. 22 (SAT) AKITA AKITA VIEW HOTEL
Visit the Neputa Village, displaying extravagant and colorful illuminated floats used for the famous "Neputa Summer Festival" along with folk art and a craft shop where the manufacturing process can be seen. Also enjoy the Tsugaru Shamisen (musical instrument in this area) Show with energetic and historical music of the Tsugaru Region. Later have fun "Picking Apples" in season. Aomori is "the largest apple producer in Japan". "Taste juicy and sweet Aomori Apples". Then visit the Odaiko no Yakata (Big Japanese Drum Museum), exhibiting the World's biggest Drum and a collection of drums from all over the world totaling 147 different drums from 40 countries. Later proceed to our hotel in Akita City located within walking distance to Akita Station and the Shopping Area.

OCT. 23 (SUN) AKITA AKITA VIEW HOTEL
Go to Kanto Festival Museum specializing in the famous Kanto Festival "One of the Three Biggest Summer Festivals in the Tohoku Region". See a skillful demonstration balancing the Kanto (bamboo pole decorated with candle-lit lantern) on their body (forehead, shoulder, back, etc). Later go to Oga Peninsula and visit Namahage Museum. Namahage is a traditional ritual of this area that is designated as a "National Important Folk Cultural Property". It is to bless the New Year with a group of young men dressed in fierce looking costume to scare children. See the movie and exhibitions to "learn the folklore of the Namahage and see a Namahage Performance at the old traditional house. Akita Prefecture is often called "Kingdom of Delicious Sake" because of good local rice, crystal-clear spring water and the cold winters make Akita Sake delicious. We will visit the Kodama Jozo Sake Brewery established in 1879 where you can taste "Akita's local Sake" and purchase it.

OCT. 24 (MON) ONIKOBE HOTEL ONIKOBE (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning visit the Furusato Village that exhibits Akita's local crafts and performing arts, etc. You can purchase Akita's local specialties such as Inaniwa Udon Noodle, Rice Crackers, Pickles, etc. Then enjoy a drive along the Senshu Line while viewing the mountains with magnificent Autumn colors. Visit Naruko Gorge to see its brilliant crimson foliage of Autumn scenery. This huge 328 ft. deep gorge boasts a spectacular panorama featuring yellow and red leaves of maple and beech trees which compose a beautiful contrast with the green pine trees. It is praised as the "best Autumn leaves place in the Tohoku Region". Later visit the famous Kokeshi Doll Museum, displaying the finest examples of 5,000 traditional Kokeshi dolls from all over the Tohoku District. Then proceed to Onikobe, a popular highland Hot Spring Resort. Our hotel is a lovely mountain resort hotel. Good chance to Soak and Relax in the Hot Spring Bath with beautiful mountain scenery.

OCT. 25 (TUE) SENDAI HOTEL METROPOLITAN SENDAI
Head to Matsushima one of the "Three Most Beautiful Spots in Japan" that is designated as a "National Special Scenic Beauty". Enjoy a Sightseeing Boat Cruise to experience this breathtaking scenery. Over 250 small islands covered with pine trees offer an endless variety of scenic delights. Later visit the "Symbols of Matsushima, Godaido Hall and Zuiganji Temple with more than 1,000 years of history and designated as a "National Treasure". Then go to Sendai largest city in the Tohoku District and visit the Aoba Castle Ruin, former typical Japanese hill top Castle built by Date Masamune a legendary Samurai warlord called "Dokuganryu (one-eyed dragon)". His massive statue riding a horse looks down on Sendai City is there. Our hotel is connected to Sendai Station and its building with souvenir shops, etc. Tour guides will take you to "holo-holo" after hotel check in.

OCT. 26 (WED) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Walk to Sendai Station to catch the Shinkansen Bullet Train (speed up to 200 M.P. H.). Upon arrival, transfer by bus to AEON Shopping Center to enjoy shopping and lunch. Then proceed to Yokohama Japan's 2nd largest city after Tokyo. Our hotel is located within easy walking distance to the Department Store, ¥100 Yen Shop and Underground Shopping Mall. After hotel check in, tour guide will take you around the hotel. (LUNCH / DINNER) will be at your own expense) (2 Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance. Any excess will paid for by the member.

OCT. 27 (THU) HONOLULU {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}
At check out time our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage to be checked-in down. In the afternoon, proceed to Narita Int’l Airport to catch flight in the evening to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, OCTOBER 27, 2016 (THURSDAY). After clearing U.S. Customs, proceed home. However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.
