FEB. 06 (MON) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES and DRINKS.

FEB. 07 (TUE) NARITA / CHITOSE HOTEL GRAND TERRACE CHITOSE
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport and after government formalities, transfer to your connecting flight to Chitose Airport in Hokkaido. Upon arrival, go directly to our hotel. {About 8 min. from the airport}.

FEB. 08 (WED) OTARU GRAND PARK OTARU
In the morning, go to the shoe store to buy your snow shoes before heading to Lake Shikotsu to see its facinating “Hyoto Ice Festival" with "massive Ice Sculptures made of water from the lake". You will be impressed with these wonderful ice sculptures colored a mysterious “Shikotsu Blue”. Later proceed to Otaru, a romantic port town steeped in a rich history that dates back to the late 19th Century. This town still creates an atmosphere of the good old days with many Western Style Buildings, nostalgic warehouses, etc. Visit beautifully preserved Otaru Canal representing Otaru which is regarded as "One of the Most Picturesque Cities in Japan". We will stay at a "Five-star Hotel" connected to a "Big Shopping Mall" with AEON Supermarket, 100 Yen Shop, Home Center, etc. Enjoy shopping after hotel check in.

FEB. 09 (THU) SAPPORO ROYTON SAPPORO
Go to Sakaimachi Street, the main street of Otaru for strolling and shopping. This attractive, well preserved merchant street with beautiful scenery is lined with old stone storehouses. It is the main street of Otaru for strolling and shopping. Visit the Otaru Glassware Store. Otaru is famous for its glassware and reputed as the "Home of Japanese Glass". Fascinating intricate handmade glassware is the "Trademark of Otaru" and a pleasure to see. Also visit the "Music Box Museum" which contains exhibits about the development of music boxes, notable antique music boxes, and a large collection of beautiful and intricate music boxes which can be purchased. Later proceed to Sapporo, the "Biggest City in Hokkaido" and visit Chitosezuru Sake Museum to see the process of brewing local Sake in Sapporo. Also taste many types of their Sake products and purchase them. Our hotel is located close to Odori Park where the Sapporo Snow Festival takes place. It is an internationally known event with gigantic snow sculptures several stories high, hundreds of medium-sized and small statues of snow and ice. After dinner you can visit the Festival Site and enjoy the newly started spectacular Projection Mapping Show as well as the fantastic night view of the illuminated snow structures and ice statues.

FEB. 10 (FRI) LAKE TOYA LAKE TOYA MANSEI KAKU HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning we will see a day view of the “Sapporo Snow Festival” to fully enjoy one of the most adorable and amazing events in Japan. The stunning ice sculptures and tempting snow statues would definitely leave you in awe. Then enjoy shopping at the Sapporo Wholesale Market carrying Hokkaido’s seafood, local specialties, etc. with lively atmosphere. Later visit "Hokkaido’s Largest Ainu Village" in Shiraoi Town. Ainu are the Aborigines in Hokkaido. Ainu culture and lifestyle is shown in an outdoor reproduction of a small Ainu Village. Enjoy seeing Ainu ritual dance and sing which is registered as the "Intangible World Cultural Heritage of Humanity". Then proceed to Lake Toya, regarded as "One of Hokkaido's Three Great Landscapes" for its beautiful lake views. It was thus chosen as the location of the 2008 G8 Summit. Our hotel faces the lake where the Winter Festival takes place. After eating dinner with "Crab", enjoy the "Lakeside Fireworks Show" from your room. Soak in the soothing Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath (Roten buro) with a spectacular winter scenery view of the lake.

FEB. 11 (SAT) ONUMA ONUMA PRINCE HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Go to Showa Shinzan Volcano, one of the youngest mountains in Japan which was created between 1944 and 1945. This active volcano stands proudly while venting sulfurous fumes in front of you. It is designated as a "Special National Treasure". Here, we will visit a Bear Farm where you can try feeding an apple to the bear. The bears will stand up and beg for you to give them an apple. Then proceed to Onuma Park, known for its picturesque scenery with majestic Mt. Komagatake. Only in winter will you "get a chance to experience exciting Snowmobile Riding or Sledding on the frozen lake. Soak and Relax in the soothing Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Roten Buro Bath.

FEB. 12 (SUN) MT. HAKKODA HAKKODA HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Visit Goryokaku Park, Japan’s "First Western-style Fort" with its 5 pointed star-shape. We will look over it from the Observatory Tower (351 ft height) and enjoy a marvelous view of a huge star rimmed park and Hakodate City covered with snow. Later ride the newly opened (March 2016) Hokkaido Shinkansen "Bullet Train" to cross to Honshu (main island of Japan) via the Seikan Undersea Tunnel (33.5 miles long in length). Upon arrival at Aomori, visit Warasse Nebuta Festival Museum, dedicated to all aspects of the most energetic event in Aomori, the “Nebuta Festival”. You will see "Huge and Colorful Floats" actually used for the festival. Then proceed to Mt. Hakkoda, renowned for its abundant snowfall and rated as "The World's Snowiest Location". We will stay at a traditional mountain resort hotel surrounded by virgin forest with deep snow. Enjoy a delicious "Japanese Kaiseki Dinner" in the evening. "Soak and Relax in the Hot Spring Bath"! If you wish to, you will get a chance to visit Sukayu Onsen Hot Spring that has over 300 years history. It famous “Sennin Buro” (1,000 people bath)” is made completely of Japanese cypress and equivalent in size to 160 tatami mats. (2 minutes by shuttle bus)

FEB.13 (MON) AOMORI HOTEL JAL CITY AOMORI
In the morning, ride a 8,000 feet long Ropeway to the 4,344 ft high summit station of Mt. Hakkoda to see the beautiful fantasy world of “Juhyo “(Snow Monster). Numerous trees covered by snow and ice resembling Monsters (Weather Permitting). This unique phenomenon can only be seen in Japan and a few other countries. These otherworldly shapes looming on the vast landscape are amazing an unforgettable. Then enjoy driving along the Oirase Stream. This picturesque mountain stream will overwhelm you with the numerous snow-covered trees and frozen waterfalls. Then go to Aomori and our hotel located in the center of the city and walking distance to the Department Store. Enjoy shopping after hotel check in. At Dinner time enjoy Sukiyaki with a Tsugaru Shamisen Show at a restaurant near the hotel.

FEB. 14 (TUE) AOMORI HOTEL JAL CITY AOMORI
Head to Kanagi, and enjoy a truly Traditional Japanese Winter Experiences. First {for those who wish to}, enjoy walking on the snow with Traditional Japanese Style Snow Shoes “Kanjiki” which has a long history of over 2,300 years. You are free to roam this "Winter Wonder Land". Then ride on the nostalgic Stove Train operated only during the winter season. This train remains the style of olden days with coal fueled Daruma Stoves. You can taste freshly grilled Squid while drinking Sake (Own expense) while viewing the tranquil rural landscape with thick covering of white snow. Later visit the Tachinebuta Museum exhibiting gigantic floats with some rising to 75 ft. in height which are carried around in a famous summer festival. These colorful and magnificent huge lantern floats with effigies of legendary heroes will astound you.

FEB. 15 (WED) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Go to Aomori Airport to catch a Domestic Flight to Haneda Airport in Tokyo. Upon arrival, transfer to the bus to your hotel in Yokohama, 2nd largest city in Japan. After arrival at the hotel, FREE TIME to finish Shopping, Packing or just Rest. Hotel is connected to the Underground Shopping Mall and easy walking distance to Department Stores, Big Electronic Store, ¥100 Yen Shop, etc. Tour Guides will take you around the hotel for "Holo Holo" and Shopping.

FEB. 16 (THU) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Visit the Yokohama Wholesale Market to enjoy shopping for Japanese traditional foodstuffs such as Tsukemono (pickles), Umeboshi, etc. at a wholesale price. Later proceed to Tokyo, the capital city of Japan offering numerous fascinating attractions. Visit the former Iwasaki House and Garden. A "National Important Cultural Property" that features elaborate and elegant old wooden buildings that were the palatial home of the Iwasaki Family (Founding Family of Mitsubishi Companies) The subtle combination of Western and Japanese Styles in the building and the intriguing history behind the adoption of western manners and lifestyle by Japan’s elite during the Meiji Era (1868-1912) lets you walk right into the history of Tokyo. Later visit Ameyoko, "One of Japan’s Most Popular Shopping Streets", filled with many discount stores carrying all kinds of products include dried seafood, candies, clothes etc. Then after going back to the hotel, FREE TIME to Finish Shopping, Packing or just rest. {LUNCH and DINNER will be At Your Own Expense}.

At check out time our agent will come to tape & tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon, go to Narita Airport to catch flight in the evening to Honolulu. Arrive in Honolulu the same morning, FEBRUARY 17 (FRIDAY)).

RESPONSIBILITY: The tour organizer or any travel agencies involved, act only as agents for the passengers in regards to travel, sightseeing, hotel and meal arrangements, and other tour services. The organizer/agency will accept no responsibility or liability in respect of either person or property for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity, however, occasioned, sustained, or suffered in or during any journey, trip, or tour, or in carrying out of any arrangements booked by or through it.

If the agency becomes aware that a passenger has a special chronic health problem, the agency shall ensure that it is provided with a letter from the passenger’s personal physician stating the nature of such health problem and certifying that the passenger is physically fit to participate in the tour. Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the tour. Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members. However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.

Baggage’s are at owner’s own risk. The right is reversed to make any necessary changes in tour if deemed advisable.
