MAR. 5 (SUN) HONOLULU
 
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE Movies and Drinks.

MAR. 6 (MON) TSUKUBA OKURA FRONTIER HOTEL TSUKUBA
Arrive at Narita Int’l airport and after entry formalities, proceed by bus to the hotel in Tsubuka. Japan’s “Science City” filled with relaxing mood with many parks and open spaces. Hotel is close to shopping area with Supermarket etc. Enjoy “Holo-Holo” after hotel check in.

MAR. 7 (TUE) TSUKUBA OKURA FRONTIER HOTEL TSUKUBA
Head to Itako, called “Suigo (the land of water)” known for its clean water and good quality rice. Visit 1st Sake Brewery on this tour “Aiyu Shuzo” The brewery use Shinsen (God’s spring) water and high quality rice for their Sakes. Their Daiginjo and Junmai-ginyo have received many awards. See the process of making Sake and try tasting their products to find sake that suits your taste. Next visit the center of Japan’s space network, Tsukuba Space Center. It plays an important role in Japan’s research and development of spacecraft, such as satellites and rockets, and also controls and tracks launched satellites. And visit its Space Museum exhibit various full-scale satellite models, the H-II Transfer Vehicle, the experiment module "Kibo" and a real rocket engine etc.

MAR. 8 (WED) NASU HIGHLANDS RINDOKO ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Visit Mito Kairakuen Garden ranked among Japan’s three most beautiful landscape gardens and most famous for its over 3,000 Plum Trees of some 110 different varieties with white, pink and red blossoms which are right season to bloom. Enjoy strolling the garden commands a breathtaking view of beautiful forests and lakes with the beauty of ume blossom. Later visit interesting Sake brewery “Shimazaki Shuzo” famous for its sake aged in cave cellar. See their cave particularly using for storage of Sake bottles. Enjoy tasting and shopping for their products not only Sake but Wine, Sake Ice cream, Sake manju, Tsukemono (pickles), etc. We will stay Resort hotel located in Nasu Highlands with beautiful nature. Soak and Relax in Public bath and Open Air Onsen Hot spring Bath! Dinner will be Japanese set. You can bring the Sake that you bought at the brewery to dinner (1 bottle per person)

MAR. 9 (THU) LAKE INAWASHIRO GRAND SUNPIA INAWASHIRO RESORT HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Enjoy riding on chartered Ozatoro Tembo Scenic Train. You can view stunning scenery with beautiful gorge, rivers, bridge, etc., which should be still covered by remaining snow. The train has three interesting carriages. You can choose from the Tram carriage, the Tatami-floored carriage and the Observation carriage. Later visit Aizu Buke Yashiki Samurai Mansion to see the Aizu area’s rich cultural heritage of the high class Samurai during the Edo period (17th to 19th century). You can see large Samurai residence (has 38 rooms!), remaining old government office, traditional tea house, etc. Aizu is a major Sake producing area which has had a long tradition of sake brewing. Visit Suehiro Brewery, one of the largest and most famous sake breweries in the Tohoku Region. Their sake is famous throughout Japan and annually wins international awards. Their premium sake is used the traditional “Yamahai” method to produce a full, complex flavor. We will stay resort hotel offer magnificent views of the lake from your room. Soaking and Relaxing in Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath. Dinner Time, you can bring the Sake that you bought at the brewery and taste your favorite Sake while dining on a Western set menu. {1 Bottle Per Person Limit}.

MAR. 10 (FRI) NIIGATA HOTEL OKURA NIIGATA
Go to beach side of Lake Inawashiro called “Heaven’s mirror lake” because of its high level of transparency reflect the sky like a mirror. We will see wild Swans come from Russia during winter. And visit Noguchi Hideyo Memorial Hall. See the exhibition and birth house of the world renowned Dr. Noguchi Hideyo who had made significant contributions in his research towards a vaccine for yellow fever. His portrait is depicted on the 1,000-yen bill. Then head to Kitakata and eat Kitakata Ramen for lunch. Kitakata ramen is famous brand and ranks amongst Japan’s most famous types of ramen noodle. Then proceed to Niigata known as the “Rice capital of Japan”. Visit Senbei Kingdom to enjoy “grilling senbei” (rice crackers) by yourself. Also you can buy fresh Senbei at the factory store. Hotel is located at main shopping area in Niigata City. After hotel check-in, good chance to browse around shopping area near the hotel.

MAR. 11 (SAT) NIIGATA / SADO HOTEL OKURA NIIGATA
One day trip to Sado Island for Sake Brewery tour! Board the Jetfoil to Sado Island. Sado’s sake style breaks away from Japan’s mainland. It features a dry, clear taste and a refreshing finish made from its exceptional clear water and delicious local rice. First visit Obata Brewery. Enjoy their brewery tour with short movie about sake in English and taste a selection of sake for sale. Their “Manotsuru” has been honored a prestigious gold medal in the sake category at the world’s largest wine competition. Visit Tenryo-hai brewery has consistently maintained high quality of sake making to produce aromatic, smooth, and refreshing its sake. Then catch a Jetfoil to go back to Niigata city. After arrival at the hotel free time to enjoy shopping, meet your relatives or just rest. *In case of cancellation of Jetfoil, we will go another place in Niigata.

MAR. 12 (SUN) NIIGATA HOTEL OKURA NIIGATA
Visit the “Biggest Sake Event in Japan” (attracting 120,000 visitors), “Niigata Sake no Jin”. An annual sake-fair attended by 90 Sake Breweries from across Niigata Prefecture including famous Kubota, Hakkaisan, Kikusui, etc. You can “Taste a Large Variety of Niigata Sake”, as much as you like! {Over 500 Different Sake!}. It must be like heaven to Sake Lovers! In the afternoon we will visit Niigata Furusato Village where you can learn the history and culture of Niigata with life-size models of old houses, snow machine, etc. This is a good place to buy local souvenirs of the whole area of Niigata such as Rice Crackers, Handicrafts, Seafood, etc. At Dinner Time you can bring “Your Own Sake” that you purchased at the Sake Event Site to dinner {1 Bottle Per Person}.

MAR. 13 (MON) ECHIGO YUZAWA NASPA NEW OTANI (ONSEN) ♨
Go to Tsubamesanjo worldly known for its big Cutlery production to enjoy shopping at Kitchenware Store. You can buy utensils, knives, garden scissors, etc., at wholesale price. Then proceed to Echigo Yukikura (Snow storehouse) kan. The brewery produces the highest alcohol content Sake (46%!!). We will have an opportunity to enter the brewery’s snow-constructed storehouse and taste many kinds of fresh sake. Then stop at Shiozawa-juku old town, an old post town in Edo period where traveler used to stay. Enjoy browse around the old town street with many stores (Sake, Rice, etc.) lining that is strongly influenced the Snow country’s history and culture. Our hotel is a Onsen hot springs resort in the spectacular surroundings of Yuzawa Town. Enjoy Hot Spring Bath and Open Air bath.

MAR. 14 (TUE) OKUNIKKO OKUNIKKO KONISHI HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning have fun Strawberry picking in right season. Taste fresh and sweet Japanese Strawberry as much as you like. And visit Ashio Copper Mine which actually had been functioning for 360 years since 1610 and used to function as mint in Edo period. Ride Torroko Tram going through actual tunnel while watching dolls indicating how miner used to work. You can also learn about history and importance of this mine at the museum. Later drive on Irohazaka Scenic Road with 48 hair pin turns and drive by the beautiful Lake Chuzenji to get to our hotel located in Okunikko. Soaking in Onsen Hot Spring bath and Open Air bath. Private Onsen is available (Own expense) At dinner time you can bring the Sake that you bought at the brewery to taste Japanese Kaiseki dinner. (1 bottle per person)

MAR. 15 (WED) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Visit Tamozawa Imperial Villa which was the official residence of the royal family originally built in 1632. Today, villa is a fascinating tribute to Japanese architecture and history. It blends a traditional Edo and modern Meiji Period architecture realized unique unification throughout its 106 rooms filled with superb craftsmanship. Also we can see traditional hanging Hina Dolls during this time of the season. After enjoy lunch and shopping at Aeon Shopping Center, visit Coco farm winery producing “Made in Japan” wines loved by VIP’s around the world and were served at the state dinner of G8 Summits held in Japan. Then head to our hotel in Yokohama, 2nd largest city in Japan. After hotel check-in your tour guide will take you to holo-holo around the hotel.

MAR. 16 (THU) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Enjoy Shopping at Yokohama Central Wholesale market to buy Tsukemono, Umeboshi, etc., at a wholesale price. Then go to Kirin Beer factory to learn what makes their flagship “Kirin Ichiban” the purest beer in the world and taste fresh made Kirin beer!! Then head to Tokyo and visit Ameyoko, one of Japan’s most popular shopping streets, filled with many discount stores carries various products, such as dried seafood, candies, clothes, etc. After going back to the hotel. Free time to finish shopping, packing etc., (Lunch/Dinner will be own expense)

MAR. 17 (FRI) HONOLULU (ONLY BREAKFAST INCLUDED ON THIS DAY)
At check-out time we will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. Later proceed to Narita Airport to catch flight in the evening to Honolulu.
