FEB. 27(MON) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu International Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES and DRINKS.

FEB. 28 (TUE) HAKATA HOTEL OKURA FUKUOKA
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport or Kansai Int’l Airport and after clearance of government formalities transfer to a connecting flight to Fukuoka Airport. Upon arrival by bus to the hotel in Hakata the biggest city in Kyushu. Our hotel is located near the downtown Nakasu Area, where it is good for shopping and strolling, etc.

MAR. 1(WED) HAKATA HOTEL OKURA FUKUOKA
Visit Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine which is notable as "One of the Best Sites" to see Ume Blossoms in Japan. 6,000 Ume trees will bloom and fill the garden around this time of season. (depending on the climate). This shrine is the most important of several hundreds of shrines dedicated to Sugawara Michizane as the God of Scholarship. The approach to the shrine is lined with shops carrying local specialties such as the famous Umegae-mochi. Later visit Konpeito (Japanese sugar candy) Kingdom to enjoy making konpeito candy ourselves. Konpeito candy is a traditional Japanese sweet with a history of 460 years. Later visit Yusentei Garden. This purely strolling style Japanese Garden is centered on a scenic pond with lush walking paths that wind through the thick trees and moss covered rocks etc., Enjoy immersing yourself in uniquely Japanese landscape garden atmosphere. After going back to the hotel, walk to Kawabata Shopping Mall near the hotel, with various kinds of stores carrying Japanese Tea, Kimono wear, Cutlery etc.

MAR. 2 (THU) NAGASAKI HOTEL NEW NAGASAKI
Enjoy a seasonal attraction in Kyushu, "Strawberry Picking". Taste fresh and sweet "Japanese Strawberries" in season and "eat as much as you like"! Then proceed to Nagasaki, "one of the most intriguing and attractive tourist destinations in Kyushu" with an incredible history with close ties to Europe and China. Visit Nagasaki’s foremost tourist attraction "Glover Garden". The elegance of the period of foreign settlement, nestled in picturesque surroundings offers a superb and extensive view of Nagasaki Harbor. The gardens feature the former "Glover Residence", the oldest western wooden building in Japan that has just been added to the list of "World Heritage Sites" in 2015. Our hotel is located close to Nagasaki Station and the shopping building with supermarket, Tokyu Hands, etc. After hotel check-in your tour guide will take you to "Holo-Holo" near the hotel.

MAR. 3(FRI) SASEBO HOTEL OKURA JR HUIS TEN BOSCH (ONSEN) ♨
Visit Nagasaki Peace Park which commemorates the city’s destruction by the Atomic bomb dropped on August 9, 1945. In the park there is the massive Peace Statue and various other statues which promote and urge the "Concept of World Peace”. We will also visit the Atomic Bomb Museum aiming to contribute to the abolition of nuclear weapons and the realization of lasting world peace. Then proceed to Huis Ten Bosch, a unique theme park recreating a Medieval 17th Century Dutch Town. The entire park is filled with real size copies of "Old Dutch Buildings and Windmills" which make you feel as if you are in the Netherlands. Admission ticket is paid for you to enjoy your favorite attraction such as Horizon Adventure Plus, a theater where you can experience violent floods from Holland’s history with dynamic sound and lighting. And there are many exciting amusements in the park. You can also enjoy a leisurely stroll along streets lined with flowers and greenery. Our hotel is located in front of Huis Ten Bosch, with a Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath. After dinner, go to see the Kingdom of Lights Festival. 13 million lights of illumination called the "World’s Greatest Light Festival." It is such a brilliant and amazing scenery in the night.

MAR. 4 (SAT) KUMAMOTO HOTEL NIKKO KUMAMOTO
Head to Arita, which is famous throughout Japan for its pottery that dates back over 400 years. Visit Arita Porcelain Park a porcelain related theme park with a large reconstruction of the German Palace. Later visit the Yokan (a thick jellied dessert made of red bean paste) Shop in Ogi. Yokan is one of the traditional sweets representing Japan. Ogi Yokan, especially, is a historically old and very highly regarded popular brand. You can sample and also purchase Ogi Yokan. Then go to Ushinoo Bairin (Ume Forest) known as the "Best Ume Flower Viewing Area" with 13,000 Ume Trees lining it since the end of the Edo Period. The Ume Blossoms bloom annually about this time of the season. Later proceed to Kumamoto, an old castle town blessed with an abundance of nature. Our hotel is located in the center of the city, close to department stores and shopping mall. After hotel check in, enjoy “Holo-Holo” near the hotel.

MAR. 5 (SUN) KAGOSHIMA KAGOSHIMA SUN ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Visit Suizenji Park, a spacious Japanese Style Landscape Garden registered as a "National Historic Site of Scenic Beauty". It features a crystal clear pond and magnificent pine trees. Enjoy strolling along a circular path while enjoying the changing scenery. Ume flower should be blooming in the garden. (Depending on the climate). Later proceed to Hitoyoshi, a 700 year old castle town called "Small Kyoto in Kyushu". Visit Craft Park and enjoy painting your own Flower Box which is a traditional handicraft in this area. Then go to Kagoshima and our modern city hotel facing Sakurajima Island, the "Symbol of Kagoshima". Relax in the Hot Spring Bath while viewing Sakurajima Island. **Suizenji Park did not suffer any big damage from the latest earthquake which struck Kumamoto and reopened in May 2016.

MARCH 6 (MON) AOSHIMA ANA HOLIDAY INN RESORT MIYAZAKI (ONSEN) ♨
Drive up to Mt. Shiroyama Park. You can view Kagoshima City, Kinko Bay and symbolic Sakurajima Island from the observatory. On the way, drive by many historical sites like the cave where Saigo Takamori committed suicide. Then visit Senganen Garden, constructed in 1658 and designated as a place of "Special National Scenic Beauty". The garden is made with fine design and has a refined taste, using Kinko Bay to resemble the pond and Sakurajima as the miniature mountain of the garden. The view of Sakurajima from the vast garden is very spectacular. Ume flower and Kanhi Sakura (early blooming cherry blossoms) should be blooming in the garden (depending on climate of the year). Later catch a Ferry (15 minutes) to Sakurajima Island, "One of the World’s Greatest Active Volcanoes". You can feel the power of nature while viewing the active volcano spewing smoke up close. We will stay a popular resort hotel overlooking the Hyuganada Sea. Soak and Relax in the Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath with beautiful ocean view.

MARCH 7 (TUE) NOBEOKA HOTEL MERIGE NOBEOKA
Enjoy driving on beautiful Horikiri Pass, "One of the Best Observation Roads" in Japan commanding the grandeur of the Hyuganada Sea spreading out as far as the eye can see. If timing is right, Cherry blossoms are blooming along the road. Visit Aoshima Island, a "National Special Natural Monument", with unusual wavy rock formation called Oni no Sentakuita (the ogre’s washboard) that draw stripe patterns which show up at low tide. These perfectly straight rows of rock look as if they are remnants of something manmade. Later go to Hyuga Cape where you can see magnificent scenery with many exposed rocks facing beautiful Hyuganada Sea. Umagase at the tip of the cape is a precipitous cliff of pillar-like rocks, towering 230ft high (highest in Japan) and commands excellent view of waves below breaking against rocks.

MARCH 8 (WED) BEPPU BEPPUWAN ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Head to Usuki and see its National Treasure Stone Buddha Carvings. The largest-scale rock Buddha figures carved during 12th century to 14th century. Its scale, number and high quality are representing Japanese piety. Later head to Beppu, known as the "Onsen (Hot Springs) Capital of Japan". You will see white steam spewing everywhere in the town. Enjoy a Beppu Jigoku “Hell of Boiling Spring” Tour. Spectacular hot springs for viewing rather than bathing. Visit Chinoike Jigoku (blood pond hell) featuring a pond of hot, blood-red water. This awesome pond gets it formidable color from red clay that dissolves in the natural hot spring water. Then visit Umi Jigoku (Sea hell). "One of the Most Beautiful Hells" featuring a pond of boiling, turquoise blue water that resembles the sea. Its waters are 394 ft deep and 208F hot. We will stay at a "Onsen Resort Hotel" facing scenic Beppu Bay. Enjoy Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Roten Buro Bath of famous Beppu Hot Spring.

MARCH 9 (THU) KOKURA RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL KOKURA
Visit African Safari Park, the "Largest Safari Park Zoo in Japan" located in expansive Ajimu Steppe with 1,400 animals of 70 species. You can observe the large animals living freely. Enjoy a exciting "African Safari Experience in Japan". Later go to Ao-no Domon (Blue Tunnel) "One of the Most Famous Tourist Attractions in Kyushu". A Buddhist Monk in Edo Era had dug this 600ft tunnel by hand which took 30 years to complete. Then go to our hotel close to the station and its shopping area. Upon arrival at hotel your tour guide will take you to "Holo-Holo" around the hotel.

MARCH 10 (FRI) KOKURA RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL KOKURA
Visit the TOTO Museum, "The World's Most Innovative Toilet Company". TOTO opened this museum in 2015. Cross the Kanmon Straits to get to Shimonoseki (Yamaguchi Prefecture) known for some great historical sea battles in Japanese history such as the battle leading to the fall of the Heike Clan in 1185 and fight between Musashi Miyamoto and Kojiro Sasaki in 1612. Visit famous Karato Fish Market for some fun shopping for dried seafood, tsukemono pickels, etc. with a lively atmosphere. This is a good chance to eat fresh Sushi at the market which can be purchased by 1- piece each {At Your Own Expense}. Later enjoy shopping and lunch at the AEON Shopping Center before going back to the hotel. ("SORRY" Lunch and Dinner Will Be At Your Own Expense) this day.
