OCT. 14  (MON) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight.  Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight.  Free Movies & Drinks.

OCT. 15 (TUE) IKEBUKURO, TOKYO HOTEL METROPOLITAN 
Arrive at Narita International Airport, and after government formalities, proceed by bus to the hotel  in Ikebukuro, one of Tokyo’s multiple city centers.  Hotel is located within easy walking distance to the Shopping District near the Ikebukuro Train Station.  After hotel check-in, FREE TIME to meet your relatives and friends, go shopping, or just rest. Your tour guide will take you to Holo Holo around the hotel.

OCT. 16  (WED) LAKE SUWA RAKO HANANOI HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Head to Lake Kawaguchi a very popular resort area located at the foot of Mt. Fuji. If the weather is fine a magnificent view of the Symbol of Japan "Mt. Fuji" can be enjoyed from the shore of the lake.  Next go to Katsunuma, particularly famous for its grapes and wines.   After enjoying a “Hoto nabe, local food in Yamanashi” lunch, have fun Grape Picking in season. “Taste the Fresh and Sweet Japanese Grapes”, as many as you like! Later proceed to Lake Suwa, sitting at an altitude of 2,500 feet and surrounded by beautiful mountains. Visit the Shinshu Miso Factory. Shinshu Miso is widely loved throughout Japan.  See a place where this local miso is made and enjoy shopping for a wide variety of miso flavored foods sold here.  Then go to our hotel located close to the lake.  Enjoy a delicious "Japanese Kaiseki Dinner" in the evening.  And a good chance to try the relaxing Hot Spring Bath with Sake-buro Bath & Open Air Roten-buro Bath.   A Private Onsen (3 rooms) is also available (At Your Own Expense).

OCT. 17 (THU) AZUMINO, NAGANO HOTEL AMBIENT AZUMINO (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning enjoy “Apple Picking”.  Taste the “Juicy and Sweet” Nagano Apple which is in season.  Nagano Apples are noted for its sweetness and great color. Then proceed to Matsumoto, a tranquil old castle town nestled by the Japan Alps. We will visit its main attraction, Matsumoto Castle designated as a National Treasure.  Its “Oldest Castle Donjon Remaining in Japan” has been praised as “One of the Most Complete and Beautiful” among “Japan’s Original Castles”. Later head to Azumino, a picturesque valley settled below the strikingly beautiful Japan Alps Mountains. Visit Daio Wasabi Farm (Japanese Horse-Radish Farm). Enjoy strolling and shopping for Wasabi products at the “Biggest Wasabi Farm in Japan”.  This night’s accommodation is a nice resort hotel overlooking the Northern Japan Alps with surroundings of nature.  Enjoy soaking in the Hot Spring Bath and Roten-buro (Open Air Bath) while viewing the beautiful mountains.

OCT. 18 (FRI) TOYAMA TOYAMA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Enjoy a Whole Day Sightseeing Trip to the “Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route”.  This is a fascinating journey through glorious alpine scenery with a superb view of 9,045 feet high mountains from the convenience of a Cable Car, Bus, Ropeway and Trolley Bus.  First, ride a Kanden Tunnel trolley bus to Kuroyon Dam offering a panoramic view of grand nature.  Walk across “Japan’s Largest Dam” to Kurobe Station to catch the under-mountain cable car to Kurobe-daira and take the ropeway to Daikanbo to enjoy seeing the magnificent scenery of the Japan Alps.  If timing is right, we will see beautiful Autumn leaves.  Then board the tunnel bus for Murodo Plateau (8,038 feet high), the highest altitude station in Japan. Then down to Tateyama and proceed to the hotel in Toyama City located near Toyama Train Station and connected to a department store with a ¥100 Yen Shop.  Enjoy “Holo-Holo” and Shopping after hotel check in.

OCT. 19 (SAT) FUKUI CENTURION HOTEL RESORT & SPA TECHNOPORT  FUKUI (ONSEN) ♨ 
Proceed to “One of Japan’s Major Sightseeing Cities” Kanazawa. A historic castle town where a lot of tradition is well-preserved. Visit its highlight attraction “Kenrokuen Garden”, praised as “One of the Three Most Beautiful Landscape Gardens in Japan” and designated as a “National Cultural Property of Special Scenic Spot”.  Enjoy strolling around this beautiful Japanese Garden incorporating fancy designs with a variety of trees, ponds, waterfalls and flowers to achieve a peerless scenery.  Go to the AEON Shopping Mall for Shopping and Lunch. Then visit “National Natural Monument Tojinbo Cliff” with spectacular scenery. Bizarrely shaped rocks towering as high as 82feet over the crashing waves of the Japan Sea. It is “One of the Only Three Rock Pillars of Its Kind in Existence in the World”. Then head to our hotel located in a comprehensive park facing the Japan Sea. Heal your fatigue with the Onsen Hot Spring Bath!

OCT. 20 (SUN) KYOTO MIYAKO HOTEL KYOTO HACHIJO
Enjoy Shopping at the Big “Nihonkai Fish Market”.  Nearly 70 Shops carrying Dried Seafood, Seaweed and Local Souvenirs, etc. from the Japan Sea. Then proceed to Hikone, a former castle town on the shores of Lake Biwa Japan’s largest lake. Visit the Castle Road of Yumekyobashi, located at the castle site of “National Treasure Hikone Castle". All the buildings in this shopping district are reconstructed with the image of a Castle Town in 1603.  Shop and stroll with an Old Town Atmosphere in the Edo Period. Later head to the ancient Capital of Japan, Kyoto. Our hotel is located in front of Kyoto Station and close to AEON Shopping Mall including UNIQLO, ¥100 Yen shop etc. After hotel check in, tour guide will take you to “Holo-Holo” around the hotel.

OCT. 21 (MON)  KYOTO MIYAKO HOTEL KYOTO HACHIJO
All Day Kyoto City Tour!  Enjoy the “Most Historical City in Japan”, which was named as the “World’s Best City” for the second time in a row since a 2014 poll by readers of the U.S. magazine Travel + Leisure. Visit the World Heritage Site, “Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion)”. “One of the Most breathtaking Temples in Japan” which was built in the 14th Century. The main pavilion is covered by gold leaf and situated picturesquely in its garden. Also visit the magnificent Heian Jingu Shrine, built on the occasion of the 1,100th Anniversary of the Heian Capital Foundation.  Enjoy walking around its exquisitely landscaped strolling garden with a variety of plants, ponds and traditional buildings. Next visit Nishijin Textile Museum to enjoy seeing the beautiful Kimono Show.  It is a good place to take in the beauty of gorgeous Nishijin Textiles which has a long history dating back to the 16th Century.  

OCT. 22 (TUE) USHIMADO, OKAYAMA THE HOTEL LIMANI & SPA    
Stop at Tsukemono Pickles Shop “Mori” to see them actually making their products and learn about the “Taste of Kyoto”. Also get a chance to enjoy shopping for their products such as Narazuke, Shibazuke and other tsukemono products made with local vegetables. Then go to “Japan's First World Heritage Site” “Himeji Castle”, widely considered as the “Most Beautiful and Spectacular Castle in Japan”. Renovation work was completed in 2015.  We will see this renewed castle called “White Heron Castle” because of its elegant, white appearance. It is the finest surviving example of early 17th century Japanese Castle Architecture.  You will be able to enter the main keep and climb up to the top floor. Then proceed to Ushimado, a seaside resort town overlooking the numerous beautiful islands dotting the Seto Inland Sea.  We will stay at a Greek Style Resort Hotel located oceanfront of the Inland Sea. Enjoy an ocean resort experience with panoramic ocean view called “Aegean Sea of Japan”. 

OCT. 23 (WED) KURE / HIROSHIMA    KURE HANKYU HOTEL
Go to Korakuen Garden, another “One of the Three Most Beautiful Landscape Gardens in Japan”.  It is a representative of a “Scenic Promenade” (Kaiyu Style) Garden of the Edo Period. Enjoy strolling around the beautiful landscaped garden including a large pond, streams and a hill that serves as a lookout point. Then proceed to Kure in Hiroshima, a city steeped in the historic charm and scenic beauty of the Seto inland Sea. Visit the Yamato Museum. Yamato was the “World’s Largest Battleship” built at the Kure Navy Yard in 1941. The museum’s center piece is a 1/10th scale reproduction of this battleship as well as a real Zero Fighter Plane and other precious historical materials. We also visit the “Steel Whale (Submarine) Museum” operated by the Maritime Self-Defense Forces. You are able to look at the insides of the decommissioned real submarine. Our hotel is located in front of the Kure Train Station and a Supermarket is within walking distance from the hotel.    

OCT. 24 (THU) KURE / HIROSHIMA / YAMAGUCHI KURE HANKYU HOTEL 
Visit “World Heritage Site” and “One of Japan’s Most Visited Tourist Spots”, Beautiful and Sacred "Miyajima Island" and the colorful "Itsukushima Shrine". It has traditionally been ranked as “One of the Three Best Views in Japan” and “One of Japan’s 31 Most Beautiful Places” chosen by CNN. This centuries-old Shrine is known worldwide for its iconic "Floating Torii Gate" that is built over water, seemingly floating in the sea during high tide. You can enjoy strolling along the charming walking paths on the sacred island.  Later go to Iwakuni, Yamaguchi Prefecture to see its famous Kintai (Brocaded) Bridge originally built in 1673. It is “One of the Three Most Beautiful Bridges in Japan” because of its elegant form with five impeccable arches. You will be captivated by this world’s largest wooden bridge when you walk over the bridge.

OCT. 25 (FRI) HIROSHIMA / HIMEJI HOTEL NIKKO HIMEJI 
We will visit the Peace Park and see the Atomic Bomb Dome (Ruins of the Industry Promotion Hall). The “Only Atomic Bombed Building” remaining in the city has become a “Symbol of Hope and Peace”. Also visit the Peace Memorial Museum showing the history of Hiroshima before and after the bombing with meaningful exhibitions. Renovation work of the museum will be finished in April 2019. We will be able to see newly completed exhibitions. Then go to Hiroshima Station to catch the Shinkansen Bullet Train (max. speed 198 MPH) to Himeji.  Upon arrival at Himeji, walk to our hotel situated right across the train station.  After hotel check-in it will be “FREE TIME” to finish Shopping, Packing, etc. Your rooms are paid for but meals (LUNCH/DINNER) will be At Your Own Expense. We will give everyone a carton box to use for packing their gifts. (2 Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance. Any excess will be paid for by the member). 

OCT. 26 (SAT) HONOLULU {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}
At check-out time our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down.  In the afternoon, proceed to Kansai International Airport to catch the international flight to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, OCTOBER 26, 2019  (SATURDAY).  After clearing U.S. Customs proceed home. If the agency becomes aware that a passenger has a special chronic health problem, the agency shall ensure that it is provided with a letter from the passenger’s personal physician stating the nature of such health problem and certifying that the passenger is physically fit to participate in the tour.  Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the tour.  Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members.  However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.
