FEB. 04 (TUE) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via ALL NIPPON AIRLINES flight. Lunch and a snack will be served aboard the flight. Free Movies and Drinks.

FEB. 05 (WED) NARITA/CHITOSE ANA CROWNE PLAZA CHITOSE
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport and after government formalities, transfer to your connecting flight to Chitose Airport in Hokkaido. Upon arrival, go directly to our hotel (15min by bus).

FEB. 06 (THU) SAPPORO SAPPORO TOKYU REI HOTEL
In the morning go to shoe store to buy your snow shoes before heading to Sapporo, biggest city in Hokkaido where world famous 71st Sapporo Snow Festival takes place. Visit Tsudome site where you can enjoy snow activities such as snow slides, snow rafting, throwing snowballs, etc. Then go to the main festival site at Odori Park. Enjoy One of Japan's most popular winter events with gigantic snow statues & hundreds of medium, small-sized statues of snow and ice. Hotel is conveniently located just a minute's walk from down town Susukino. After dinner you can visit Festival site again to enjoy spectacular Projection Mapping show as well as the fantastic night view of the illuminated snow structures & ice statues.

FEB. 07 (FRI) LAKE TOYA LAKE TOYA MANSEI KAKU HOTEL
Visit Lake Shikotsu to see its fascinating “Hyoto Ice Festival” with massive ice sculptures made of water from the lake. You will be impressed by the wonderful ice sculptures colored mysterious "Shikotsu blue". Later go to active Showa Shinzan volcano, one of Japan's youngest mountains which created by an eruption in 1944. It's still actively venting sulfurous fumes today. Then to Lake Toya, picturesque lake chosen as the location of the G8 summit and registered as first “Unesco Global Geopark” in Japan. Hotel is facing to Lake where Winter festival takes place. After eat dinner with crab, enjoy lakeside fireworks from your room. Enjoy soaking in Hot Spring Bath & Open-Air Bath with a nice winter view of the lake.

FEB. 08 (SAT) HAKODATE HAKODATE KOKUSAI HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Go to Onuma Quasi-National Park, known for its picturesque scenery of island dotted lakes with majestic Mt Komagatake. You'll have chance to experience exciting Snowmobile ride or Sledding on the frozen lake. Then to southern tip of Hokkaido, ”Hakodate” one of Hokkido's most popular tourist spots. Visit Goryokaku park Japan’s first western-style fort and now functioning as a park with its 5-pointed star-shape. We will look it over from the Observatory Tower (351ft height). You can enjoy a marvelous view of a huge star rimmed park & a whole Hakodate city with snow covering on it. Then visit Tropical Botanical Garden to see Monkey soaking in Onsen. A hundred of monkeys fending off cold winter by soaking in Hot spring bath. After dinner, you can see Hakodate winter fireworks festival supposed to be held on this day. Beautiful fireworks shinning in the clear winter night sky in Hakodate bay

FEB. 09 (SUN) MT. HAKKODA HAKKODA HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning, browse around Hakodate Morning Market. You can enjoy shopping of Dried Seafood, etc. with vibrant and active atmosphere. Then catch a Hokkaido Shinkansen bullet train to cross to Aomori, via the Seikan Undersea Tunnel (33.5 miles long and second world longest undersea tunnel). Upon arrival on Honshu (Japan's main island), visit Warasse Nebuta Festival Museum dedicated to all aspects of the most energetic event in Aomori, “Nebuta Festival”. See huge & colorful floats actually used for festival. Feel the lively and exciting atmosphere of one of Japan’s best known and biggest Summer events. Later head to Mt. Hakkoda which is #1 of the snowiest major cities around the world. We'll stay at a traditional mountain resort hotel surrounding by virgin forest. Enjoy wonderful resort experience with natural surroundings in snow. And enjoy soaking and relaxing in the Hot Spring Bath! If you wish to, you will get a chance to visit famous “Sennin buro (1,000-people bath)", a large mixed gender public bath. (2 minutes by shuttle bus)

FEB. 10 (MON) HIROSAKI ART HOTEL HIROSAKI CITY (ONSEN) ♨
Mt. Hakkoda has earned a reputation as "Snow paradise". We ride on Ropeway (10 minutes, 8,000Ft long) to the summit station (4,344 Ft height). From the ropeway you will look down beautiful fantasy world of “Juhyo” (Snow Monster). Numerous of trees covered by snow and ice look like imaginary monsters. (Weather permitting). This phenomenon occurs in only a few places around the world. These otherworldly shapes looming on the vast landscape are truly amazing! Then enjoy driving along Oirase Stream, a picturesque mountain stream. You'll be overwhelmed by great number of snow-covered trees and frozen waterfalls. Then go to Inakadate to see Winter Rice Paddy Art. It's a magnificent art that is illustrated by stepping and hardening the snowfield with human’s two feet. Enjoy artistic drawing on snowfield over the rice paddies. Then go to hotel located close to station & easy walking distance to supermarket, etc.

FEB. 11 (TUE) HIROSAKI ART HOTEL HIROSAKI CITY (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning, ride on Stove Train operated only during winter season. This nostalgic train remains the style of olden days in Snow country with coal-fueled stoves. In the train, you can try grilling Cuttlefish with Sake (Own expense) while viewing Tsugaru plains in snow. Upon arrival at Kanagi Town, visit Tsugaru Shamisen theater to enjoy Shamisen performance. Tsugaru shamisen is Japanese folk performing art originally born in Aomori and distinguished for its strong and sharp sound that represents bitterly cold winter in this area. For those who wish to, you will get a chance to visit Hirosaki Castle Snow Lantern Festival. Hundreds of traditional style Japanese lanterns made out of snow are standing throughout the park with illuminated pine trees and snow-covered Castle tower creates a fascinating atmosphere.

FEB. 12 (WED) APPI HIGHLANDS APPI KOGEN ONSEN HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Visit Tsugaru Kokeshi Doll Museum. Kokeshi doll is traditional wooden crafts which has been created in Tohoku region. It's come to be recognized as one of Japan's most vibrant folk arts. Enjoy hands on experience of design & paint your own Kokeshi doll. It will be the one and only souvenir in the world. Also, you can see about 4,000 pieces of Kokeshi dolls and other wooden toys from all over Japan. Then to Odate where noted for Akita dog which is designated as a Japanese Natural Treasure. Visit Akita Dog Museum where famous Akita dog "Hachiko" was born. A story of this very faithful dog is well known all over the world. We will see Hachiko's statue and real Akita dog at the museum. We will stay at Resort Hotel close to Ski ground. Enjoy specious Onsen Hot spring bath.

FEB. 13 (THU) OUSYUKU ONSEN HOTEL MORINOKAZE OUSYUKU (ONSEN) ♨
Go to Morioka Handicraft Village to see the process of making traditional handicrafts in Morioka such as Nanbu ironware, pottery, woodcraft, etc. Also, you get a chance to try baking local Nanbu Senbei by yourself. Later visit Koiwai farm a 7400-acre private farm located scenically at the base of Mt. Iwate. It is very splendid to see stunning nature with beautiful landscapes of Mt. Iwate in winter. We will stay at popular onsen resort hotel surrounded by forest. After dinner, you can enjoy Local Taiko Drum, Sing & Dance Show at hotel lobby. Soak and Relax in Hot Spring Bath and Open-Air Bath where you can see beautiful Mt. Iwate on a clear day.

FEB. 14 (FRI) AKITA AKITA VIEW HOTEL
Head to Akita, one of Japan's top destinations for those looking for a beautiful snowy landscape. Visit Lake Tazawa Japan's deepest lake (1,389ft deep) which has retained a natural and mystical atmosphere. Scenery of white snowy mountain surroundings against the lake's azure surface is particularly memorable. And visit Sake brewery. Akita is known for its quality rice producing and clean water, thus called “Land of Sake”. Our hotel is located within easy walking distance to Akita train station and its shopping area.

FEB. 15 (SAT) AKITA AKITA VIEW HOTEL
Go to Akita Marugoto Market, a large market carries Akita’s signature agricultural products and craftworks. You can buy famous Akita's Sake, Inaniwa Udon noodle etc. Visit Yokote Kamakura Festival. An ancient festival of Snow-Houses which has a history of about 450 years. The festival features hundreds of large and small snow domes called "Kamakura" which is a traditional feature in northern Japan. Enjoy the fantastic snowy world represents life in Japan's snow country. We also visit AEON shopping mall for shopping and lunch. After going back to the hotel, Free time to enjoy shopping, packing, etc. (Lunch/dinner will be your own expense.)

FEB. 16 (SUN) HONOLULU Only breakfast is included this day
At checkout time we will come to tape & tie-up the boxes and take the baggage to be checked-in down. Proceed to Akita airport to catch domestic flight to Haneda Airport. Upon arrival at Haneda, transfer to international flight to Honolulu. Arrive in Honolulu the same morning, FEB.16(Sun) After clearing U.S. Customs, proceed home. (Lunch and dinner will be at your own expense.)

$225.00 Cancellation Fee is usually charged by the airlines.

INCLUDES: Land Transportation included in the itinerary, all hotel accommodations, meals and all sightseeing listed, all transfer of passenger and baggage, souvenir picture and tour tax.

DOES NOT INCLUDE: AIRFARES, Individual expenses after termination of tour as stated in itinerary. Also, wine, liquor, mineral water, laundry and other items of personal nature, cost of obtaining passport and visa or other necessary documents.

BAGGAGE: Limited to (1) piece 50 lbs., and (1) hand-carry.

RESPONSIBILITY: The tour organizer or any travel agencies involved, act only as agents for the passengers in regards to travel, sightseeing, hotel and meal arrangements, and other tour services. The organizer/agency will accept no responsibility or liability in respect of either person or property for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity, however, occasioned, sustained, or suffered in or during any journey, trip, or tour, or in carrying out of any arrangements booked by or through it.

Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members. However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.

Baggage’s are at owner’s own risk. The right is reversed to make any necessary changes in tour if deemed advisable.
