08 MAR (SUN) HONOLULU 
Leave Daniel K. Inouye International Airport via Japan Airline flight #783. Dinner and Breakfast will be served aboard the flight. Free Movies and Drinks. 

09 MAR (MON) TSUKUBA OKURA FRONTIER HOTEL TSUKUBA 
Arrive at Narita Airport and after entry formalities, proceed by bus to the hotel in Tsukuba, Japan’s “Science City” filled with relaxing mood with many parks and open spaces. Hotel is close to shopping area with Supermarket, etc. Enjoy “Holo Holo” after hotel check in. 

10 MAR (TUE) TSUKUBA OKURA FRONTIER HOTEL TSUKUBA 
Head to Itako, or “Suigo”, (meaning) “The land of Water” for its first-class rice and high-quality water. This is where we’ll visit our 1st Sake Brewery on this tour “Aiyu Shuzo”. The brewery use’s Shinsen or God’s spring water and high-quality rice for their Sakes. Their Daiginjo and Junmai-ginjo have received countless awards. We’ll be able to understand the Sake making process and be able to sample their products. You might find a bottle or 2 that you might want to purchase. We’ll then visit Cyberdyne studio to know firsthand why Tsukuba is called “Science City”. Here’s where the most advance robotic technologies come to life. You’ll see ads being displayed on a seamless 270° TV screen. You’ll be able to experience the latest robotics disabilities aids. Be as strong as the Mighty Ironman or the Terminator with the aid of robotics assistance limbs. You can also experience being a robot with their interactive displays and exhibits. 

11 MAR (WED) NASU HIGHLAND ROYAL HOTEL NASU (ONSEN) 
Visit the famous Mito Kairakuen Garden and you’ll see why it’s ranked among the three most beautiful landscape gardens in Japan. With over 3,000 beautiful Plum Tress and with over 100 different varieties with white, pink, and red blossoms which will be in perfect season. Enjoy a relaxing stroll of the garden and take in the breathtaking views of the gorgeous forest and crystal-clear lakes with the ume blossom in the background. Later we’ll visit “Shimazaki Shuzo” made famous as the only Sake Brewery that has a Cave Cellar. These caves are used as storage and aging of their Sake. Enjoy the time to sample and shop for their merchandise as they have wine, Sake rice crackers, and of course their Sake. We’ll be staying at a Resort hotel located in Nasu Highland surrounded by spectacular forest scenery. Soak and Relax in Public bath and Open-Air Onsen! Dinner will be Japanese Set. You can bring the Sake that you bought at the brewery to dinner (1 bottle per person). 

12 MAR (THU) LAKE INAWASHIRO INAWASHIRO RESORT HOTEL (ONSEN) 
Go to Tonohetsuri a National Natural Monument with its 656 feet long tower-shaped cliff that overlooking the river. With deep cracks along the vertical joints of the cliff face that formed over 28 million years ago from along with a variety of different sizes and shapes rocks formations. Later visit Aizu Buke Yashiki Samurai Mansion to see the Aizu area’s rich cultural heritage of the high-class Samurai during the Edo period (17th to 19th century). See the large Samurai residence that has 38 rooms! The Old Government Office, Traditional Tea House, etc. Aizu is a major Sake producing area which has a long tradition of brewing sake. We will visit Suehiro Brewery known as one of the largest and most famous sake breweries in the Tohoku Region. Their sake is famous throughout Japan and annually wins international awards. Their premium sake is used the traditional “Yamahai” method to produce a full, complex flavor. We will stay at a resort hotel that offers magnificent views from your room of Lake Inawashiro. Soaking and Relaxing in Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open-Air Bath. Dinner will be a Western set menu. You can bring the Sake that you bought at the brewery to dinner (1 bottle per person). 

13 MAR (FRI) NIIGATA HOTEL OKURA NIIGATA 
Go to the beachside of Lake Inawashiro, known as “Heaven’s Mirror,” lake because of its high level of transparency reflect the sky like a mirror. Then visit Noguchi Hideyo Memorial Hall. See the exhibition and birth house of the world-renowned Dr. Noguchi Hideyo who had made significant contributions in his research towards a vaccine for yellow fever. His portrait is depicted on the 1,000-yen bill. Then head to Kitakata and eat Kitakata Ramen for lunch. Kitakata Ramen is a famous brand and ranks amongst Japan's most famous types of ramen noodles. Then proceed to Niigata known as the “Rice capital of Japan”. Because its rice and rice products receive a high evaluation as “Best in Japan”. Visit the Senbei Kingdom to try your hand at “grilling your own senbei” or rice cracker. You can enjoy the taste of your very own freshly made grilled rice cracker. Also, you can buy fresh Senbei at the factory store. Hotel is located easy walking distance to the main shopping area in Niigata City. After hotel check-in, a good chance to browse around the shopping area near the hotel. 

14 MAR (SAT) NIIGATA HOTEL OKURA NIIGATA 
One day trip as we jump on board a Jetfoil to Sado Island for a Sake brewery tour! As we break away from mainland Japan to try Sado style Sake has to offer. With our 1st visit will be Hokusetsu Shuzo Sake Brewery that produces a dry and smooth tasting Sake. That has a clear and sweet fragrance that is made from exceptional pure water and delicious local rice. Drinking this Sake has you imagining of heavy snowfall in the northern provinces. Their Sake is served at famed Chef NOBU restaurants around the world and attracts celebrities everywhere. Next, we’ll go to Obata Brewery for their Prestigious Gold Medal and Time-Honored “Manotsuru” in the Sake category at the World’s largest wine competition. Enjoy the Sake brewery tour with an English short movie and sample the selection of sake for sale. We’ll catch the Jetfoil back to Niigata city. After arriving back at the hotel, you’ll have free time to enjoy shopping, meet your relatives or just rest. *In case of cancellation of jetfoil due to bad weather, we’ll have an alternate plan in place in Niigata.* 

15 MAR (SUN) NIIGATA HOTEL OKURA NIIGATA 
Visit the famous Niigata Sake-no Jin the biggest Sake event in Japan that attracts over 141,000 visitors’ annual. This is like having every Sake Convention/Fair all under one roof as there’ll be over 80 Sake breweries from across Niigata Prefecture including the famous Kubota, Koshino- kanbai, Kikusui, etc. You can taste a variety of Niigata sake. (You can choose from over 500 different types of Sake!!). It must be like heaven to Sake lovers!! We’ll visit Niigata Furusato Village here’s where you can learn the history and culture of Niigata with life-size models of old houses, Snowmaking machines, and four-season film. This is a good place to buy local souvenirs of all Niigata and its surrounding area along with dried seafood, rice cracker, handicrafts, etc. At dinner time, you can bring your own Sake that you purchased at the Sake event site (1 bottle per person). 

16 MAR (MON) ECHIGO YUZAWA NASPA NEW OTANI(ONSEN) 
Go to Tsubamesanjo worldly known for its big Cutlery production. Enjoy shopping at Kitchenware Store where you can buy utensils, knives, Garden scissors, etc. at a wholesale price. Then off to Hakkaisan Brewery, one of the most well-known breweries in Japan. Their “Yukimuro (Snow room)” is a huge warehouse that stores a huge mound of snow to create a “natural refrigerator”. Their Sake has a smooth with a subtle and fine aroma. Enjoy sampling and shopping for their products. Then stop at Shiozawa-juku old town, an old post town of Edo period where traveler used to stay. Enjoy browsing around the old town street with many stores (carrying Sake, Rice, etc.) lining. The town is strongly influenced by the Snow Country’s history and culture. Our hotel is an Onsen hot spring resort in the spectacular surroundings of Yuzawa Town. Enjoy Hot Spring Bath and Open-air Bath.

17 MAR (TUE) MUSASHI HILL, SAITAMA HERITAGE RESORT (ONSEN)
This morning, you'll enjoy Strawberry Picking! What’s better than eating red juicy strawberries? It’s when you can pick them yourself and all you can eat! Nothing can beat freshly pick Japanese strawberries right off the vine. Then we’ll proceed to Gunma to visit the Daruma doll shop. Takasaki’s mascot is one of the most popular talismans for good luck in Japan. Takasaki Daruma is particularly famous as the lucky Daruma. We’ll then head to Gunma the biggest producers of Konnyaku to visit Konnyaku Park. You’ll enjoy a factory tour to learn how Konnyaku is made after the tour you can sample various Konnyaku dishes. Our Hotel is in a National Park surrounded by a natural forest. There are several different types of Onsens at our Hotel such as Jacuzzi, Zashiki (Tatami) Buro, etc. Soaking and relaxing Onsen Hot Spring Bath! 

18 MAR (WED) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWER 
Saitama prefecture is 1 of top 5 producer of Sake. We’ll visit Igarashi Sake Brewery. Their signature Sake Tenranzan Junmai Daiginjo has received many prizes in International Wine challenge and Fine Sake Awards in Japan. After enjoy lunch and shopping at Aeon Shopping Center, we’ll head to Yokohama and our hotel is located within easy walking distance to department stores, 100 Yen shop, Electronics store, etc. After hotel check-in tour guide will take you to “Holo Holo” around the hotel. 

19 MAR (THU) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWER 
Enjoy shopping at Yokohama Wholesale Market to buy Umeboshi Tsukemono pickles, etc., at a wholesale price. Then go to Ameyoko, one of Japan’s most popular shopping streets, filled with many discount stores carries various products such as dried seafood, candies, clothes, etc. And visit Kirin Beer Factory to learn what makes their flagship “Kirin Ichiban” the purest beer in the world and taste freshly made Kirin Beer!! After going back to hotel, Free Time to finish Shopping, Packing, etc. (Lunch/dinner will be at your own expense.) 

20 MAR (FRI) 
At checkout time our agent will come to tape & tie-up the boxes and take the baggage to be checked-in down. Afternoon proceed to Narita Airport to catch flight in the evening to Honolulu.
