MAY 13 (WED) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via a Delta Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. Free Movies and Drinks.

MAY 14 (THU) CENTRAIR AIRPORT/AICHI,
CENTRAIR HOTEL
Arrive at Chubu Centrair Int’l Airport and after government formalities, walk to the hotel connected to the Terminal Building. After hotel check in, Enjoy Holo-Holo at the Airport Building with many souvenir shops and restaurants.

MAY 15 (FRI) YOKKAICHI,
MIYAKO HOTEL YOKKAICHI
Nagoya is located in Central Japan and a main transportation hub for the Shinkansen Bullet Train. We will visit the SCMAGLEV & Railway Park Railway Museum where you will learn about advances in Japanese High-Speed Railways. It has an amazing collection of 39 actual trains including historic steam locomotives and successive generations of Shinkansen Bullet Trains. Also, the latest magnetic levitating train (MAGLEV) etc. Its big train dioramas with miniature trains running through incredibly detailed recreations of a town is also worth seeing. Later go to Rokkaen Garden, a perfect place to enjoy superb architecture with the beautiful Japanese Garden that is designated as a National Scenic Spot. Main feature is a residence built in 1913 that represents a valuable ancient structural heritage which splendidly harmonizes Japanese and Western Architectural Styles and designated as an “Important Cultural Property”. Then to hotel connected to a Shopping Center with Supermarket, ¥100 Yen Shop, etc. Enjoy shopping after hotel check in.

MAY 16 (SAT) YOKKAICHI / SUZUKA / IGA,
MIYAKO HOTEL YOKKAICHI
Go to Suzuka City Traditional Industries Museum, exhibiting representative works of Traditional Craft in Suzuka. Suzuka Ink Painting and Ise Pattern Paper. We’ll try our hand at making a bookmarker with traditional stencil paper pattern chiseling. Then go to Iga, “one of two homelands of the legendary “Ninja”. You will discover many “Secrets of the Iga-ryu Ninja” at the Ninja Museum. It offers a glimpse into the life of Ninja & their skills. See a real Ninja house with fake hallways, revolving walls, trap doors, etc., and watch an interesting “Live Ninja Show” featuring authentic ninja skills and real weapons.

MAY 17 (SUN) SHIMA,
QUINTESSA HOTEL ISE SHIMA
Visit the “Old Post Town of Seki-juku” designated as a “National Historical District” and “the only remaining Historical Inn District along the Tokaido Road.” About 200 ancient old settlement houses which flourished during Edo Period (1603~1868) still remain in this town. You may feel like you are traveling back to the Edo Period when you walk around the beautiful old town. Later proceed to Matsusaka Agricultural Park Bell Farm, where you can enjoy a beautiful Rose Garden, several public greenhouses, farmer’s market and local souvenir store. Next visit Matsusaka Handwoven Cotton Center. This cotton was highly appreciated as the most fashionable kimono fabric in the Edo Period and has been recognized as an “Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan”. You can purchase various Matsusaka cotton goods with characteristic vivid indigo and stripe pattern. Then head to Kii Peninsula renowned for the spectacular Ise Shima National Park. We will visit Meoto Iwa (Wedded rocks). Two sacred rocks representing husband and wife that are connected by the sacred “Shimenawa” rope which acts as the division between the spiritual and earthly realms. Finally go to the hotel and “Enjoy Soaking in the Big Public Bath” (Sorry Not An Onsen Hot Spring Bath).

MAY 18 (MON) SHIMA / ISE / TOBA,
QUINTESSA HOTEL ISE SHIMA
Go to the Ise Grand Shrine the “Largest and Most Sacred Shrine in Japan”.  It is believed to have been established over 2000 years ago. When you walk along the path leading to the main building amid a dense forest of giant cedar trees, you will feel the sacredness Japanese Worshippers have felt since olden times. Then visit Okage Yokocho Shopping Alley in front of the shrine which “creates an atmosphere of the Edo Period”. You can experience the flavor of old shops, regional specialties, history and customs while strolling around and shopping. Later visit Mikimoto Pearl Island where the world's first cultivated pearl was successfully produced in 1893. Mikimoto Pearl Museum provides detailed explanations about pearls and the cultivation of pearls. You can view & purchase a wide variety of pearl jewelry. Visit Ishigami Shrine known as a shrine that grants 1 wish for women. Female divers in this area have prayed for safety diving and a good catch. Female TV stars and athletes who had won a gold medal at the Olympic Games have been coming to this Shrine continuously. Please narrow down your wishes to only 1 before visiting this shrine!

MAY 19 (TUE) KUSHIMOTO,
HOTEL & RESORTS WAKAYAMA-KUSHIMOTO (ONSEN) ♨
Kumano Kodo is an ancient Buddhist Pilgrimage Road running through the Kii Mountain Range. It is one of only two pilgrimages in the world registered as a “World Heritage Site”. Visit Kumano Kodo Center. The History and Culture of Sacred Places and Pilgrimage Routes are effectively introduced by a video, presenting replicas and pictures. Then head to Kushimoto to see Hashikui Iwa Rocks. Many sizes of over 40 strange shaped rocks rise up in a row for about half a mile. This strange spectacle looking like the supports of a bridge are designated as a “National Natural Treasure”. We will stay at an Onsen Resort Hotel located in the southernmost area of the Kii Peninsula. Enjoy Soaking and Relaxing in the Onsen Hot Spring Baths and Open Air Baths overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

MAY 20 (WED) KUSHIMOTO / TAIJI / NACHI,
HOTEL & RESORTS WAKAYAMA-KUSHIMOTO (ONSEN) ♨
Visit the World’s Largest Whale Museum in Taiji. About 1,000 precious materials regarding the life of whales and whaling are displayed. A 50 Ft Bowhead Whale is suspended from the ceiling. You can also enjoy an Aquarium, Dolphin & Pilot Whale Show, etc. Later head to Nachi, “One of Three Ancient Sanctuaries” in Kumano. If you wish to you can take short trail which is part of the Kumano-Kodo Pilgrimage Routes. For over 1,000 years Japanese people have made the arduous pilgrimage to Kumano. These pilgrims used a network of routes (Kumano Kodo). Walking the ancient Pilgrimage Route is a fantastic way to experience the unique cultural landscape of Kumano's spiritual countryside. Also visit “World Heritage Site Nachi Waterfall”. Japan’s highest waterfall with a 400ft drop. The Harmony created by a great waterfall & mystic primeval forests is completely amazing. Enjoy the Hot Spring Baths and Open Air Baths after hotel arrival.

MAY 21 (THU) SHIRAHAMA,
COGANOI RESORT & SPA (ONSEN) ♨
Go to Kushimoto Marine Park, located in the southern-most point of Honshu (Mainland of Japan). Visit its Aquarium with Underwater Observation Tower. It is an excellent chance to have a close encounter with this rare and beautiful underwater world with colorful tropical fishes, the World’s Northern-most Coral Reef Ecosystem, etc. Then head to Shirahama, established as a goodwill sister beach relationship with Waikiki Beach. We will visit highlight sightseeing places of natural beauty in Shirahama. Go to its symbol Engetsu Island, a particular rock isle with a full moon-like hole in the middle. Senjojiki Rock Plateau, a spacious horizontally multi-tiered rocks looks like a thousand Tatami Mat. Sandanheki (three-tiered wall) cliff, with 200 Ft high precipitous rock walls dropping away vertiginously into the sea.  Also visit the Seafood Chips Factory, a famous local specialty in the area. You can sample many varieties of flavor and buy fresh chips. Then to the resort hotel facing the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy Hot Spring Bath & Open Air Bath with beautiful ocean view.

MAY 22 (FRI) SHIRAHAMA,
COGANOI RESORT & SPA (ONSEN) ♨
Visit Adventure World. A Mega Theme Park with a Zoo, Aquarium and Amusement Park which was ranked #1 of the “Best Zoos and Aquariums in Japan” by Trip Advisor. The main feature is Panda Land, where you can get very close to the Panda! This is “One of only 3 places where they have Giant Pandas in Japan”! You will get to see Lion, Giraffe, Cheetah, Zebra, etc., as they are from the Safari Car.  A Fabulous Dolphin Show can be seen at the Big Ocean Stadium.  Also get close-up views of Chimpanzee, Hippopotamus, etc. Later visit the Ume-boshi (Pickled Plum) Factory. This area is known for producing the “Best Ume-boshi in Japan”. Kishu Ume-boshi is the most popular of its kind. It will be good chance to taste the different flavors and buy World’s famous Kishu Ume-boshi and Ume Sake for souvenir gifts.

MAY 23 (SAT) SENRI CHUO, OSAKA,
SENRI HANKYU HOTEL
Proceed to Yuasa which claims to be the “Birthplace of Soy Sauce”. Visit the Shoyu Factory to see the whole process of making local Shoyu and its history which started in 1881. You can purchase their many varieties of products. Later visit Naniwa Sake Brewery founded in 1716 and a five-time gold medal winner at Japan’s most acknowledged Sake competition. See the process of making Sake and get a chance to taste their products. You can buy not only Sake but Rice Cracker, Nori Seaweed, etc. Then go to the Danjiri Festival Museum. This festival is considered to be “One of the Wildest and Roughest Festivals in Japan”. We will watch a video with vigorous visual sound. It gives you the sensation of the Danjiri Festival, an ongoing tradition for 300 years. Later head to Senri New Town in Osaka. Our hotel is located close to a Supermarket and a number of restaurants, ¥100 Yen Shop, etc. After hotel check in, we will take you to “Holo Holo” and Shopping near the station.

MAY 24 (SUN) SENRI CHUO, OSAKA,
SENRI HANKYU HOTEL
Visit the Open-Air Museum of Old Japanese Farm Houses which is a fascinating look at rural life in Japan with 11 restored Traditional Japanese Farm-houses built in the Edo Period. Old farm houses from different regions of Japan including the famed “Gassho-style” house in Shirakawa go spread out in the refreshing park. It is like traveling through time to old time Japan. Later enjoy Shopping and Lunch at the Aeon Shopping Mall before going back to the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, “Free Time” to continue Shopping, Packing or just rest. {Lunch and Dinner will be At Your Own Expense}.
