JUN. 17 (WED) HONOLULU 
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE Movies and Drinks. 

JUN 18 (THU) HAKATA, 
HAKATA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU 
Arrive at Narita Int'l Airport and after clearance of government formalities, transfer to domestic flight to Fukuoka, biggest city in Kyushu. Hotel is located near down town Nakasu area in Hakata, good location for shopping and strolling, etc. 

JUN. 19 (FRI) HAKATA,
HAKATA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU 
In the morning, having fun Hakata Doll Painting Experience. Fukuoka’s most famous traditional arts and crafts is “Hakata Ningyo (doll)”, handed down for over 400 years by local craftsmen. You can paint your own Hakata doll for souvenir. Then go to Kurume Kasuri Museum. Kurume Kasuri is a method of textile dyeing considered "One of the most famous woven fabrics for work clothes" and designated as "National Traditional Craftwork". We will see exhibition of delicate splashed pattern fabric that has been created for over 230 years. Also enjoy shopping for their products. Then visit Yame Traditional Craftwork Center, displaying the traditional handicrafts in the area. We will see craftsman making traditional craftworks such as Japanese paper lantern, Bamboo craft, etc. You can purchase a fine selection of crafts that are quite original and make excellent presents. After going back to the hotel tour guide will take you Holo-Holo to Kawabata Shopping Arcade filled with around 100 shops carrying Japanese tea, Hakata doll, Kimono wear, etc. 

JUN. 20 (SAT) UBE,
ANA CROWNE PLAZA UBE
Go to Ashiyagama-no Sato to experience Japanese Tea Ceremony. We get served Matcha green tea and Wagashi (traditional Japanese confection). After taste it you can visit its beautiful Japanese garden. Then cross Kanmon Straits, a well-known beauty site which separate the Honshu (Main island of Japan) and Kyushu island. Visit famous Karato fish Market for some fun shopping for Dried Sea foods, Seaweed, etc., with lively atmosphere. It will be precious chance to eat fresh Sushi at the famous fish market (You can try it from 1 piece at your own expense). Later visit Kirara Glass Miraikan museum. You can experience making kaleidoscope with their original glass parts and beads. Then proceed to Ube, a regional hub industrial city overlooking calm island sea. We will stay at the best western style hotel in the area. 

JUN. 21 (SUN) YAMAGUCHI,
HOTEL NEW TANAKA (ONSEN) 
Head to Akiyoshidai Safari Land. About 700 animals, 70 different species live in a near-wild state with dynamic natural environment of Akiyoshidai Quasi-National Park. You can observe the large animals such as Lion, Tiger, Elephant, Giraffe, Black bear, etc., live freely up close from the bus. Then go to Motonosumi Shrine, picked as one of "36 of Japan’s most stunning places" by CNN. The shrine’s remarkable location makes for a striking contrast with the red 123 shrine gates and the blue ocean below. Later go to Hagi, a former castle town since 1604. Hagi is best known for Hagi-yaki pottery. It’s been ranking among Japan’s finest highly prized as most beautiful tea wares for nearly 400 years. It is said the more it is used, the glaze becomes more transitory. You can buy such a famous Hagi-yaki pottery at the direct sales store. Then proceed to Yuda in Yamaguchi prefecture. A hot spring town called “Kyoto in the West” because of its long history dating back to 14th century. Soaking in Onsen Hot spring bath, known for Bijinno yu. (Hot spring for beauty) 

JUN. 22(MON) HIROSHIMA,
RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL HIROSHIMA 
Visit Ruriko-ji Temple with its National treasure Five-storied pagoda. This stately pagoda is considered "One of Japan’s three most outstanding pagodas". It is about right season when Hydrangeas are blooming in its garden (Blooming level depending on the climate of the year). Then go to Tsuwano often called "little Kyoto" where you can see the original scenery of Japan. We will visit former Samurai district, particularly nicely preserved with earthen walls, historic buildings and a water canal filled with carps, and white and purple irises in bloom spreads. You can also visit quite unique Tsuwano Catholic Church. It features tatami mats instead of chairs. Also try your hand on making traditional Washi Paper (Japanese hand-made paper). Once Tsuwano had been making big prosperity with its “Sekishu Washi” during Edo period and has designated as Unesco's Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2009. Then head to Hiroshima. Hotel is located in the center of down town Hiroshima and next to Sogo department store. After hotel check-in, enjoy shopping, meeting your relatives or just rest. 

JUN. 23 (TUE) HIROSHIMA,

Go to Kumano, the "Capital of brushes" producing 80% of the "Made in Japan" brushes. We will visit Fude-no Sato Kobo to see exhibition and demonstration of craftsman making Kumano Brush which is a favorite of Hollywood Stars! This high-quality makeup brush makes a significant difference. You will not get that softness of the bristles and the roundness of the tip any other way. Enjoy shopping for their products for ones for calligraphy and ones for cosmetics. Then enjoy Okonomiyaki-making Experience. Okonomiyaki is a savory pancake packed full of vegetables and the specialty food of Hiroshima. You can learn about making Okonomiyaki and taste it for your lunch. For those who wish to we will take you to Hondori Shopping Arcade, the main shopping street in a bustling downtown Hiroshima. Strolling along the street lined with shops and restaurants including local product shops, 100 yen shop, etc. 

JUN. 24 (WED) NIIHAMA,
RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL NIIHAMA 
Visit Tomonoura, the picturesque port town with more than 1,000 years of history. In recent years, it has been picked as a filming location for several movies, such as “The Wolverine” starring Hugh Jackman, etc. Because the town features endearing old fashioned fishing townscape creating a calm and laid-back atmosphere. Then enjoy driving on Shimanami Kaido (Island -Wave-Sea route) toward Shikoku. It’s a spectacular 37 mile road and bridge network connecting Hiroshima and Ehime prefecture. It offers sublime views of the Seto Inland Sea National Park. Upon arrival at Imabari, best known for production of world’s highest quality towels using only the highest quality raw material. Visit Imabari Towel Flagship Store. You can find the best products suited for your needs from over 100 different types of “high quality Imabari towel” which is highly praised as the Comfort, Reliability and Safety towel. We also visit Sakurai Lacquerware Hall. Imabari is home to some of Japan’s top lacquerware. See various beautiful lacquerware pieces on display and for sale. Those have been received numerous awards for traditional arts and crafts. Hotel is located close to big AEON Shopping Mall where you can enjoy shopping after hotel check in. 

JUN. 25 (THU) NIIHAMA,
RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL NIIHAMA 
Proceed to Marugame, biggest Uchiwa (rounded paper fans) producing area in Japan. It's designated as a National Traditional Craft that have over 400 year history. You can try your hand at Making your own Japanese fan with your design. Choose your favorite paper and make your own "One of a kind Uchiwa fan". You can also buy a traditional handcrafted fans that highly praised as light, fit the hand well and comfortable to use. After enjoying lunch of famous Sanuki Udon which is considered to be "One of the top three udon noodles in Japan", visit Kiri-no Mori, a secluded confectionery shop famous among locals nestled in the mountains. You can purchase the well-known Shingu Tea and sweets made with the Shingu Tea at the factory shop. 

JUN. 26 (FRI) NARUTO,
AOAWO NARUTO RESORT (ONSEN) 
Head to Tokushima and visit Awa Japanese handmade paper hall. Awa washi paper is designated as National Traditional Craft which has long history dated back some 1,300 years ago. It features an expressive surface and impressive character has unique beauty. Soft, supple and surprisingly strong which is resistant against water. Tokushima produces almost all the natural indigo used for dyeing in Japan, as well as a rich variety of finished indigo textiles. Tokushima’s Indigo Weaving is also designated as National Traditional Craft. We will enjoy Traditional Indigo dyeing experience. You can make your own special handkerchief using organically made indigo dye. You can also visit its museum exhibits impressive collections of old kimono and textiles that have been dyed with local Indigo. Later visit Hallelujah Sweets Kitchen which is producing “Kincho Manju”, one of Tokushima’s most famous confectioneries. We will have a Tea break at the café. You can taste fresh cake with drink. We will stay at nice resort hotel with Onsen Hot Spring with beautiful ocean view. And enjoy buffet dinner in the evening featuring local seafood, vegetables, etc., including Naruto Tai (Sea bream) and Naruto Kintoki sweet potato. 

JUN. 27 (SAT) KOBE,
HOTEL CROWN PALAIS KOBE 
Incense has been an important element of Japan’s way of life and culture for a long time. It originated in Awaji Island in 595 and still the island produces 70% of all incense made in Japan. We will enjoy Incense Making Experience. You can make your own incense pieces with the scent of your choice. Those can create a warm, relaxed ambience in your house. You can also buy many types of high-quality products made of incense such as room fragrance, fragrance oil, etc., as souvenirs. Then proceed to Miki, a major production area of blades since ancient times. You will get a chance to buy Miki’s durable and incredibly sharp knives, scissors, nail clippers, etc., at Miki Cutlery Center. Then head to Minatogawa Park in Kobe where monthly Handicraft market is held. About 160 stalls carrying handmade crafts, arts, foods, etc. It is very fascinating open-air market. Then go to hotel which is conveniently located close to Kobe’s popular shopping and amusement area where you can enjoy shopping as well as beautiful sights and tastes of Kobe. 

JUN. 28 (SUN) KOBE,
HOTEL CROWN PALAIS KOBE 
Go to Kobe Nunobiki Herb Garden and ride a Ropeway. Enjoy the elegant ‘walk-in-the-sky’ ride up to the mountaintop (1,300 ft high). At the Welcome Garden where colorful flowers are blooming, you can see the panoramic view of Kobe. It’s the perfect spot to sit, relax and feel peaceful atmosphere of Kobe. Later visit Nishinomiya Shrine, head shrine of Ebisu-Shrines which enshrine the god of wealth and fortune. Monthly Hand Craft market should be held on this day. The market is really pleasant offering handmade jewelry, ornaments, clothes, etc. Later enjoy shopping and lunch at AEON Shopping Mall before going back to our hotel. (Lunch and Dinner will be at your own expense.) 

JUN. 29 (MON) HONOLULU {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY} 
At check-out time our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon go to Kansai Int'l Airport to catch a flight in the night to Honolulu. Arrive in Honolulu the same morning, JUN. 29 (Mon). After clearing U.S. Customs, proceed home. (Lunch and dinner will be at your own expense.)
