TOUR ITINERARY
SEP. 01 (TUE) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. Free Movies & Drinks.

SEP. 30 (WEDNESDAY) CHITOSE,
ANA CROWNE PLAZA CHITOSE
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport and after government formalities, transfer to your connecting flight to Chitose Airport in Hokkaido. Upon arrival, go directly to our hotel (10 minutes by bus from the airport).

OCT. 01 (THURSDAY) CHITOSE,
ANA CROWNE PLAZA CHITOSE
Go to the capital city of Hokkaido "Sapporo", with full of tourist attractions through the year. Visit Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill offering a panoramic views of downtown Sapporo with a symbolic statue of the city “Dr. Clark”. He was a pioneer for developing the frontier spirit in Hokkaido with his farewell admonition "Boys be ambitious!". Then go to Hoheikyo Dam filled with Autumn color (expected to be right timing). This area is famed sight for the beautiful autumn color. In season, the whole ravine becomes a canvas of colorful Autumn leaves. Later we will stop at Lake Shikotsu surrounded by beautiful nature. This lake is well known for the clarity of water and beautiful Autumn color should be right season. After going back to our hotel, enjoy shopping at Shopping Center right next to our hotel.

OCT. 02 (FRIDAY) OBIHIRO,
HOTEL NIKKO NORTH LAND OBIHIRO
Head to Nibutani town where the biggest number of Ainu people (Aborigines of Hokkaido) live in. Visit Ainu Culture Museum to learn their history and culture and see Ainu Dance & Ritual Show that is registered as Unesco’s Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Then head to Obihiro spreading out in vast Tokachi plain known for farming of soybeans, sugar beets, and potatoes and dairy farming in large scale as their main industry. Visit Sugar Beet Museum. You will know more about Sugar Beet production that is one of the most important crops in Tokachi region. Later head to hotel which is located next to Obihiro train station and shopping center is walking distance.

OCT. 03 (SATURDAY) OBIHIRO,
HOTEL NIKKO NORTH LAND OBIHIRO
In the morning, enjoy shopping at Ryugetsu Sweet Pia Garden to sample and purchase one of the most popular souvenirs in Obihiro “Sanporoku” a kind of layered cake covered with chocolate which won the gold medal at World Sweets Expo. Later enjoy peaceful stroll through Manabe Garden, a beautiful garden mixed with Japanese and European style. It would be right season we can see beautiful Autumn color. You can immerse yourself in extraordinary beauty while wandering around the delightful garden. Later visit Boya Farm, the biggest Sheep farm in Japan, to see their Sheep dog show. Enjoy an impressive working sheep dog demonstration in the vast farmland. And visit Obihiro Banba Horse Racetrack. Banba is a dynamic and exciting horserace which is the only race of its kind in the world. It originated from horse power contest in the Pioneer days of Hokkaido.

OCT. 04 (SUNDAY) LAKE AKAN,
TSURUGA RESORT HANAYUUKA (ONSEN) ♨
Visit Okamedo Beans shop, carrying local beans, Ama-natto (beans covered with refined sugar), Flavored dried beans, etc. Enjoy shopping of famous Tokachi beans! Then proceed to Tancho Crane Nature Park to see symbolic bird of Japan “Tancho (Japanese Red-headed Crane)”. It is officially designated as a "Living Japanese Monument" and its habitat is only around this area. Snowy white, with black tipped wings and throat and a bright red cap, it is the biggest and a magnificent bird in Japan. Later head to Lake Akan, one of Hokkaido's prominent tourist attractions where you can enjoy an uninterrupted view of nature. We will enjoy Sightseeing boat Cruise on lake Akan. You can see unspoiled primitive forest that shows natural beauty with Autumn color (Expected to be right timing). Our hotel is located by the lake. Enjoy Soaking and Relaxing in Onsen Hot Spring Bath.

OCT. 05 (MONDAY) SHIRETOKO,
SHIRETOKO DAIICHI HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Go to Salmon Science Museum, contains more than 20 kinds of salmon from all over the world. This is the right season that Salmon comes back from ocean to the river to lay the eggs. We will see wild salmon swimming in the river. Then go to World Natural Heritage site, Shiretoko Peninsula, considered to be the last pristine wilderness remaining in Japan. Stop at Rausu where Kunashiri Island (Russian held island) can be seen on a clear day. Then drive up to the beautiful Shiretoko Pass to get to our hotel. Enjoy Big Buffet Dinner which ranked as “Best buffet in Hokkaido” with 80 kinds of dishes including Crab, Local Seafood Sashimi, Scallop, Sushi, Tempura, etc. Soaking in Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath where you can enjoy panoramic view. Also Private Onsen is available at your own expense.

OCT. 06 (TUESDAY) SHIRETOKO,
SHIRETOKO DAIICHI HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Enjoy sightseeing of a land of outstanding natural beauty "Shiretoko National Park", one of Japan's most beautiful and unspoiled National Parks. We will visit Shiretoko 5 Lakes, small, quiet, picturesque lakes surrounded by wild forest. It's a great place to experience an abundance of the great nature of Shiretoko. And visit Shiretoko Nature Center to see the movie about four seasons of Shiretoko with 40 feet by 65 feet giant screen. It portrays the frigid winter and scenes you cannot normally see. Then proceed to Abashiri Prison Museum where you can learn about the socio-political history of Japan. It served as a real prison until 1984 and was Japan's most notorious and most feared prison. You can learn how was daily life of the prisoners through a dozen buildings and structures of the old prison. Later visit Oshin-Koshin Waterfall, chosen as "One of the best 100 waterfalls in Japan". You can see the falls are largely separated into two. Thus the waterfall called "Twin beauties waterfall". Enjoy soaking and relaxing in Onsen Hot Soring bath after coming back to the hotel.

OCT. 07 (WEDNESDAY) SOUNKYO GORGE,
CHOYO RESORT HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Visit Flower Garden "Hana-Tento". Magnificent landscape that colorful seasonal flowers covering 8.6 acre hill can be enjoyed. Salvia, Marigold, etc., should be blooming this season. Then visit Fresh Water Aquarium, newly popular tourist attraction in Hokkaido. It’s amazing to see Japan’s biggest freshwater fish "Ito (Japanese Huchen)" swimming in a tank. Later enjoy driving along Sounkyo Gorge, spectacular giant gorge consisting of 300 feet cliffs stretches over 15 Miles. We will view the unusual rock formations. The gorge will be filled with Autumn Color which is expected to be right timing. And visit its highlight sightseeing spot, Ryusei (Shooting Star) and Ginga (Galaxy) Waterfall. Water falls cascade down the 390 feet-high cliff. Our hotel is located in foot of Mt. Taisetsu. Magnificent views can be seen from your room. Enjoy Soaking and Relaxing in Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Roten Buro Bath filled with the white water.

OCT. 08 (THURSDAY) MT. ASAHIDAKE,
ASAHIDAKE ONSEN HOTEL BEARMONTE (ONSEN) ♨
Head to Asahikawa, 2nd largest city in Hokkaido. Visit its highlight attraction "Asahiyama Zoo", a very popular zoological garden rated as "The most innovative zoo in Japan" because of its unique viewing facilities in observing the amazing abilities of animals in an environment of wilderness which is designed to be as close to their natural habit as possible. About 150 species of animals can be seen including Wolf, Chimpanzee, Polar bear, Lion, Penguin, etc. And visit Otokoyama Sake Brewery which makes the “Best Sake in Hokkaido”, to learn process of their production and taste their Fresh Sake which you can purchase. Then proceed to Daisetsuzan National Park, Japan’s largest National Park that preserves a mountainous area of virtually unspoiled wilderness. We will ride Asahidake Ropeway to go up to 5th station of Mt. Asahidake (5,250 feet High) which is the highest peak of Hokkaido offering a superb view of great nature. First snowfall of the year is recorded at the place in end of September on average. Later head to our hotel which is located at the halfway up of Mt. Asahidake with altitude 3,600 feet high and surrounded by glorious mountain scenery. Soak and Relax in Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Roten Buro Bath. Also Private Onsen is available at your own expense.

OCT. 09 (FRIDAY) SAPPORO,
CENTURY ROYAL HOTEL
Drive through Biei, surrounded by a pleasant hilly landscape, to enjoy a view of Patchwork Hill. A hillside covered with various colors of shrubbery looks like a huge patchwork quilt. This breathtaking view of the picturesque beautiful hills makes here "One of the most popular sightseeing spots in Hokkaido". And visit Shikisai Flower Garden, a panoramic flower garden where you can leap into the grand nature of Hokkaido. Then go to Furano, an attractive destination in Hokkaido known for its pleasant and picturesque rural landscapes. Visit Tomita Farm. A pleasant view is offered throughout the seasons. In Autumn, red and yellow flowers such as Marigold and Salvia will fill their fields. Then head to our hotel located next to Sapporo station with Department Store and Underground Shopping Mall. After hotel check in, tour guide will take you to shopping area around the hotel.

OCT. 10 (SATURDAY) SAPPORO,
CENTURY ROYAL HOTEL
Enjoy shopping at Sapporo Central Wholesale Market, a popular spot for locals as well as tourists where you can buy dried seafood, local specialties, etc., at wholesale prices. And visit Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium which was the stage for the “Large Hill" competition at the Sapporo 1972 Winter Olympics. For those who wish to you can ascend to the mountain peak by the lift. From there, you can see unimaginable steep approach and spectacular scenery of Sapporo city with beautiful Autumn color. We also visit Aeon Shopping Mall for shopping and lunch. Upon hotel arrival, Free time to continue shopping, packing etc. (Lunch & Dinner will be at your own expense.)

OCT. 11 (SUNDAY) HONOLULU,  
Our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. Leave hotel by bus to Chitose Airport to catch domestic flight to Kansai Int’l Airport. Upon arrival, transfer to international flight to Honolulu. Arrive in Honolulu, the same morning Oct 11, 2020 (Sun), and after clearing U.S. Customs, proceed home. (ONLY BREAKFAST Is Included This Day / LUNCH On Your Own / DINNER On The Plane)

Clients remaining back will be assisted in obtaining train, plane and hotel reservations. Members may return to Honolulu individually but no later than 3 months from day of departure.
