OCT. 17(SAT) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int¡¯l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a
Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES & DRINKS.
OCT. 18(SUN) NARITA NARITA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Arrive at Narita Int¡¯l Airport and after entry formalities, proceed by
bus to the hotel near the airport. After check-in, FREE TIME to meet
your relatives, friends, go shopping or just rest.
OCT. 19(MON) NASU HEIGHTS RINDOKO ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN)¢Í
Later proceed to Nasu Highland, a famous mountain resort area where the
Emperor and his family spend their vacation. Along the way we will
enjoy ¡°Pear Picking¡±. Upon arrival in Nasu, visit, Okashi no Shiro
(Sweets Castle), a shop which makes local sweets, and also carrying
many other products from this area. Our accommodation is at a resort
hotel located near Lake Rindoko. Good chance to Soak and Relax in the
HOT SPRING BATH and ROTENBURO (Open Air Bath).
OCT. 20(TUE) FUKUSHIMA HOTEL SUNROUTE PLAZA FUKUSHIMA
Visit the ¡°Asahi Beer Factory¡± to enjoy seeing the process of making
beer and its technology. You will also be able to ¡°Taste Freshly
Brewed Asahi Beer¡±. Then proceed to Nihonmatsu City to see the Kiku
Ningyo Festival featuring an impressive display of Chrysanthemum Dolls
with brilliant clothes made of chrysanthemum blossoms and leaves. Later
proceed to our hotel in Fukushima City. Go Holo-Holo in the main
shopping district of the city where the hotel is located after
check-in.
OCT. 21(WED) SAKUNAMI SPA GREEN GREEN HOTEL (ONSEN) ¢Í
Proceed to Shiogama Pier to take a boat cruise to Matsushima, which is
one of the ¡°Best Three Scenic Spots in Japan¡±. The name meaning
¡°Pine Island,¡± derived from the many pine-covered islands in the bay.
There are more than 260 islands of all sizes scattered about Matsushima
Bay, offering an endless variety of scenic delights. After lunch, visit
the symbols of Matsushima, Godaigo Temple and Zuiganji Temple, which
were built by Lord Date Masamune, and designated as National Treasures.
Later, proceed to Sakunami Spa, located up-stream of the Hirose River.
Another good chance to Soak and Relax in the HOT SPRING BATH and
ROTEN-BURO (Open Air Bath).
OCT. 22(THU) SHIZUKUISHI SHIZUKUISHI PRINCE HOTEL (ONSEN) ¢Í
Proceed to Genbikei Gorge, a popular sightseeing place in Autumn.
Located along the mountain stream of the Iwai River, it is a
magnificent, over 1 mile long, stretch of undulating rock layers,
waterfalls and river rapids forming an intricate landscape. Then
proceed to the Morioka Handicraft Village, to see the process of making
traditional handicrafts in Morioka, such as Nanbu chinaware, ironware,
senbei, etc. Also you can see the display of the old farmer¡¯s houses
(Magariya). Later, visit Koiwai Ranch, which is the biggest stock farm
in Japan. Enjoy walking in the vast farm, which extends out at the foot
of Mt. Iwate. Also try the famous rich flavored ice cream! Later
proceed to Shizukuishi Spa, one of the Ski Resort Areas. Good chance to
Soak and Relax in the HOT SPRING BATH and ROTENPBURO (Open Air Bath).
OCT. 23(FRI) HIROSAKI BEST WESTERN HOTEL NEW CITY HIROSAKI
Proceed to Lake Towada, a mysterious lake shrouded by dense woodland,
via Hakka Pass with its beautiful colored Autumn leaves scenery. . Upon
arrival, take a boat ride on Lake Towada to enjoy its beautiful Autumn
splendor. Then, proceed to, ¡°One of the Top 100 Best Places for
Viewing Autumn Leaves in Japan¡±, ¡°Oirase River¡±. Enjoy driving along
the river with its beautiful Autumn scenery (If the Timing is Right),
and viewing over 20 waterfalls and enchanting Autumn leaves. Then to
our hotel located close to a Department Store with a 100 Yen Store
inside where you can enjoy shopping after hotel check-in.
OCT. 24(SAT) AKITA AKITA VIEW HOTEL
Proceed to Hirosaki Castle. There are a thousand maple trees in the
park, which serves as a place where city residents can relax and view
the beautiful colored Autumn leaves (If the Timing is Right). Then
visit the Neputa Museum, displaying extravagant and colorful
illuminated floats used for the famous Summer Festival ¡°The Neputa
Matsuri¡±. Later proceed to Takanosu Town to visit the ¡°Taiko Museum¡±
(Big Drum Museum). The ¡°World¡¯s Biggest Drum ¡° and a collection of
drums from all over the world totaling 147 different drums from 40
countries are on display. Later proceed to our hotel in Akita City,
located next to Seibu Department Store and easy walking distance to
Akita Station and Ito Yokado Supermarket
OCT. 25(SUN) ONIKOUBE HOTEL ONIKOUBE (ONSEN) ¢Í
Visit the Furusato Village, a theme park about Akita Prefecture, with
exhibits of Akita¡¯s local crafts and performing arts. You will be able
to purchase local specialties such as Sake, Pickles, here. Then enjoy a
drive along the Senshuu Line while viewing the magnificent colored
mountains on the way to Onikobe Spa, a popular Hot Spring Resort. Our
hotel is a lovely mountain resort hotel. Good chance to Soak and Relax
in the HOTSPRING BATH with beautiful mountain scenery!
OCT. 26(MON) SENDAI SENDAI EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Proceed to Naruko Gorge to see its brilliant crimson foliage Autumn
scenery. This huge, 328 ft. deep gorge boast spectacular scenery with
the tinted leaves which turn color annually from the middle of October.
Later visit the famous Naruko Kokeshi Doll Museum, which displays the
finest examples of 5,000 traditional Kokeshi Dolls originating from
throughout Japan. Then proceed to Sendai City and make a stop at JUSCO
Supermarket before going to the hotel. It will be an early check-in to
the hotel to give you plenty of time to go Holo Holo in the shopping
mall close to the hotel.
OCT. 27(TUE) INAWASHIRO HOTEL LISTEL INAWASHIRO (ONSEN) ¢Í
Proceed to Lake Hibara, a picturesque lake with jagged shorelines and
numerous islets, via the Bandai Azuma Skyline, located in the northern
foothills of Mt. Adatara, the most attractive scenic spot in Fukushima.
You will be able to get a fine view of Mt. Bandai, Mt. Azuma and Mt.
Adatara, along the way. The dynamic scenic splendor created by the
seasonally changing colors, are impressive and awe-inspiring. Then
continue to our hotel. Good chance to soak and relax in the HOT SPRING
BATH and ROTEN-BURO (Open Air Bath).
OCT. 28 (WED) TOKYO CROWNE PLAZA METROPOLITAN HOTEL
Proceed to Tokyo by bus. Our hotel is located within easy walking
distance to Tobu Department Store and Big Shopping Area. Your room is
paid for, but meals (LUNCH / DINNER) will be at your own expense to let
you eat your favorite foods before returning home. We will give
everyone a carton box to use for packing his or her gifts. (2 Pieces
Per Person Baggage Allowance. The member will pay for any excess.
OCT. 29 (THU) HONOLULU {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}
At checkout time our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the
boxes and take the baggage¡¯s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon,
proceed to Narita Int¡¯l Airport to catch Japan Airlines flight in the
evening to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, OCTOBER 29, 2009
(THURSDAY). After clearing U.S. Customs, proceed home. THANK YOU VERY

train, plane and hotel reservations. Members may return to Honolulu

you if you need their assistance in returning home individually, around
