    NOV. 04 (WED) HONOLULU
    Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES AND DRINKS
    NOV. 05 (THU) HAKATA (FUKUOKA) HOTEL NIKKO FUKUOKA
    Arrive at Nagoya, Narita or Kansai Int’l Airport. After clearance of government formalities, transfer to connecting flight to Fukuoka Airport. After arrival in Fukuoka, by bus to the hotel in Hakata, the biggest city in Kyushu.
    NOV. 06 (FRI) HAKATA (FUKUOKA) HOTEL NIKKO FUKUOKA
    Take a brief city tour of Fukuoka. In the morning, visit botanical garden, which boasts big greenhouses. Then visit Kushida Shrine, built in 757 as a guardian deity of Hakata. And Machiya Furusato Museum, celebrates the history and culture and items used in everyday life at the 150-year-old houses of a weaver. Enjoy lunch and shopping at Hawks Town, located in the Yahoo Dome Facility (Hawks Baseball Team Franchise Stadium), to enjoy shopping and have lunch. Next proceed to symbolic building of Fukuoka, Fukuoka Tower (767 Ft.) to get a 360’ panoramic view of Fukuoka City. After going back to the hotel, we will take you to Shopping Area near the hotel. {This portion is “Optional” for those interested}. (You can stay back at the hotel and rest, if you wish to.)
    NOV. 07 (SAT) NAGASAKI HOTEL NEW NAGASAKI
    Proceed to Nagasaki City, known as the Second Bombing City, which together with Hiroshima, was atom-bombed during World War II. Visit Nagasaki Peace Park, which was laid out to commemorate the exact spot of the atomic bomb explosion at 11:02AM on August 9, 1945 that almost completely demolished the greater part of the city. In the park stands the massive Peace Statue, as well as various other statues. Also visit the Atomic Bomb Museum. Visit Nagasaki’s foremost tourist attraction, Glover Mansion, constructed in 1888 at a cost of approximately $100,000.00. It is the oldest western style wooden building in Japan, and often referred to as an “Important Cultural Asset”. After seeing the beautiful gardens, proceed to our hotel located next to Nagasaki Station, after hotel check-in, those who wish to can take a walk around the area and enjoy shopping.
    NOV. 08 (SUN) KUMAMOTO HOTEL NIKKO KUMAMOTO
    Catch the ferryboat from Taira Port and proceed to Kumamoto City. Go to Yuho-En Fruit Land to enjoy a BBQ Lunch and have fun picking your own “Kaki” (persimmons). Later proceed to Kumamoto Castle, famous for the beautiful autumn leaves of the golden-yellow ginkgo nut trees. This castle is one of the three greatest castles in Japan. Its old, stonewalls, watch towers and fences which still remain, are Important Cultural Properties. Visit Suizenji Park, featuring a crystal-clear pond and considered to be one of the six most beautiful gardens in Japan. The garden is landscaped in the traditional Japanese style, with Mt. Fuji in miniature, fountains, and pine trees. Later proceed to our hotel located close to the department store and shopping mall
    NOV. 09 (MON) ICHIHINO SPA HOTEL GREEN HILL (ONSEN
    ) Proceed to Izumi City and visit the Izumi Crane Observation Center to watch the “Nabezuru” (Crane), which come from Siberia. During winter, about 10,000 cranes migrate to the Izumi Plain. These cranes are considered as “Precious Natural Monument” by the government and are so protected. Later visit Satsuma Kinzan Gura (Gold Mine Museum). Enjoy riding on a trolley car that will take you down, underground to see the Gold Mine and a Shochu (Japanese distilled alcohol) Cellar. You will be able to buy the local Shochu liquor at their shop. Then proceed to Ichihino Onsen. Enjoy a Kaiseki Dinner and a good chance to Soak and Relax in the Hot Spring Bath and Roten-buro (Open-air Bath).
    NOV. 10 (TUE) IBUSUKI IBUSUKI IWASAKI HOTEL (ONSEN)
    By bus to Kagoshima City, known as the place where “Atsu-hime” was born. Visit Iso Garden to see the beautiful “Kiku (Chrysanthemum) Flower Festival”. Also enjoy walking in the elaborate grounds, with bamboo groves, rock gardens and a stream overlooking the volcano Sakurajima. The garden was the grounds for the villa of the Lord of Shimazu. Later pass by the Saigo Takamori Statue. He was a local hero and leader of the Meiji Restoration. And place where Atsu-hime was born and raised. Only original stone walls remains. Then Proceed to Oshima Tsumugi-no-sato (Oshima Kimono Material Museum), along the way there are many historic places, such as the cave where Saigo Takamori (one of the most influential samurai in Japanese history) got killed in battle. Then go to Ibusuki Onsen (Spa), especially famous for its Sand Bath. The hotel is a big onsen resort with a “Huge Hot Spring Bath and Rotenburo”. Enjoy a “Big Buffet Dinner” this night.
    NOV. 11 (WED) MIYAZAKI HOTEL JAL CITY MIYAZAKI
    Proceed to Lake Ikeda, Kyushu’s biggest caldera lake, and see its huge eel, which grow up to 5 feet long. Pass by Chiran Town, which served as the main Kamikaze sortie base for Japanese Army with a monumental lantern for solders who died in Okinawa land battle. Visit Satsuma Beer Park for lunch and see the factory making Kurozu Vinegar. It produced with the traditional method, which uses ceramic pots. Then go to Miyazaki City full of the tropical countryside. After hotel check-in, you can walk to the local department store near the hotel.
    NOV. 12 (THU) NOBEOKA HOTEL MERIEGES NOBEOKA
    Visit Aoshima Island, a tiny island connected with the mainland by 985 ft. Bridge with wavy rock formation called Oni-no-Sentakuita (The Ogre’s washboard), draw stripe patterns, which show up at low tide. Next, have a brief stop at Saitobaru Guidance Center. If time is right, we will see Cosmos blooming. Later proceed to Hyuga City facing the beautiful Hyuga-nada Sea. Visit Hyuga Cape with its many exposed rocks designated as the Nippo-Kaigan Quasi-National Park. Umagase at the tip of the cape is a precipitous cliff of pillar-like rocks, towering as high as 230 feet, and commands an excellent view of the waves below breaking against the rocks. Before going to our hotel in Nobeoka City, visit the HYUGA JUSCO Shopping Center
    NOV. 13 (FRI) BEPPU BEPPU SUGINOI HOTEL (ONSEN)
    Proceed to the Famous Onsen resort “Beppu”, the touristy hot spring capital of Japan. Visit Beppu Jigoku (Hell of Boiling Spring). Spectacular hot springs for viewing rather than bathing. We will enjoy Jigoku Meguri (Hell Tour)! Visit Umi Jigoku (Sea Hell) features a pond of hot (208F), cobalt blue water. Its bottomless cobalt blue is really beautiful like an Ocean. Bozu Jigoku (monk Hell) is named after the mud bubbles, which emerge from boiling mud pools and look like the shaven heads of monks. Yama Jigoku (Mountain Hell) features ponds of steaming hot water and a small zoo with Hippopotamus, flamingoes, etc.. Chinoike Jigoku (Blood Pond Hell) features a pond of hot, blood red water. This awesome pond takes its formidable color from red clay that dissolves in the natural, boiling waters. Oniyama Jigoku (Monster Mountain Hell) Crocodiles are breed and kept on the grounds with warm breeding waters. Kamado Jigoku (Cooking Pot Hell) features several boiling ponds and a flashy demon statue as cook. This night accommodation is huge Onsen hotel located on top of the hill over looking Beppu Bay. Enjoy the last Huge Hot Spring Bath and Rotenburo and a “Big Buffet Dinner”.
    NOV. 14 (SAT) KOKURA RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL KOKURA
    Proceed to Yabakei Gorge, and known as the best place to see the beautiful autumn leaves in Kyushu. The erosion of lava formed the gorge, with clear waters running through the narrow ravines topped by towering peaks, and situated in the mysteriously beautiful rocky mountains. Experience the natural beauty of the crimson reds of fall maple leaves. Then proceed to Kokura in Kitakyushu. Our hotel is located next to the train station. After hotel check-in, you can go to the shopping mall and department store
    NOV. 15 (SUN) KOKURA RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL KOKURA
    Go across to the Honshu side (Main Island of Japan) via the Kanmon Bridge and visit Karato Whole Sale Market, with its lively atmosphere, to shop for (Tsukemono, Dried Sea Foods, etc) You can enjoy lively atmosphere there too. Also visit AEON shopping center before going back to. Return back to the hotel. UPON ARRIVAL, FREE TIME TO FINISHING SHOPPING, PACKING, ETC. Your rooms are paid for, but meals (LUNCH / DINNER) will be at your own expense to let you eat your favorite foods before returning home. We will give everyone a carton box to use for packing his or her gifts. (2 Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance. The member will pay for any excess).
    NOV. 16 (MON) HONOLULU {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY / LUNCH ON YOUR OWN / DINNER ON THE PLANE}
    At checkout time, our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. Later proceed to Fukuoka Airport to catch a domestic flight to Osaka, Narita or Nagoya before catching a Japan Airlines flight in the evening to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, NOVEMBER 16 , 2009 (MONDAY).
