MAR. 09 (MON) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines Flight JO. Lunch and a
Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES AND DRINK.
MAR. 10 (TUE) BEIJING, CHINA SHANGRI-LA HOTEL BEIJING
ARR: Narita Int’l Airport CONNECTING FLIGHT: Narita Int’l Airport/
Beijing Airport JL # ARR: BEIJING ARRIVAL TRANSFER: Upon arrival at
Beijing Airport and after customs and immigration formalities, you will
be met and transferred to your hotel.
MAR. 11 (WED) BEIJING, CHINA SHANGRI-LA HOTEL BEIJING
AMERICAN BREAKFAST at hotel. MORNING AT LEISURE. TEMPLE OF HEAVEN TOUR.
A visit will be made to the Temple of Heaven, one of the most
photographed buildings in the world. The main hall was built in 1420,
first restored in 1751 and finally restored in 1889 following a fire.
Hutong tour, there were 4,550 hutongs built around Beijing’s Forbidden
City during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. With very few exceptions
they are quadrangles, a closed-in structure square coutyard. The
hutongs are an epitome of the history, culture and lifestyle of
Beijing. Riding in an old fashioned pedicabs through these hutongs, you
can gain some insight into the architectutal featues of these aged
compounds and lives of the residents there. LUNCH AT A LOCAL
RESTAURANT. DINNER AT YOUR HOTEL
MAR. 12 (THU) BEIJING, CHINA SHANGRI-LA HOTEL BEIJING
AMERICAN BREAKFAST. BEIJING FULL DAY TOUR. Today’s city tour of Beijing
includes visits to the Forbidden City, also known as the Imperial
Palace; Tian’anmen Square, the largest public square in the world.
After enjoying a CHINESE LUNCH, this afternoon you will proceed to the
Summer Palace. This was the rest and recreation area of the royal
families of the Qing Emperors as far back as 1000 A.D. LUNCH AT A LOCAL
RESTAURANT. DINNER AT YOUR HOTEL.
MAR. 13 (FRI) BEIJING, CHINA SHANGRI-LA HOTEL BEIJING
AMERICAN BREAKFAST. FULL DAY EXCURSION TO THE GREAT WALL & MING
TOMBS. Today visit what is considered by most people to be the most
remarkable and greatest man-made objects of all time – The Great Wall
of China. So outstanding is The Wall, that it is the only man-made
object visible from outer-space! The amount of stones and bricks used
to construct this great wall would circumscribe the earth with a dike
eight feet high. LUNCH AT BEIJING GOLF CLUB, then continue to the Ming
Tombs, the burial site of 13 of the 16 Ming Emperors. Enroute to the
Tombs, you drive along the Avenue of Animals (Spirit Way). Twelve
statues line the road on either side - statues of lions, camels,
elephants, horses, tortoises and two sets of mythical beasts. (You may
visit the above-ground Chang Ling Museum if you do not wish to visit
the tomb). PEKING DUCK DINNER. This evening enjoy a traditional Peking
Duck Dinner followed by a Beijing Opera Performance.
MAR. 14 (SAT) XIAN SHANGRI-LA GOLDEN FLOWER HOTEL
AMERICAN BREAKFAST. BEIJING DEPARTURE TRANSFER. Transfer to the Capital
Airport for your departure from Beijing. FLY TO XIAN. LUNCH AT A LOCAL
RESTAURANT. XIAN ARRIVAL TRANSFER. Upon arrival at Xian Airport, you
will be met and transferred to your hotel. BUFFET DINNER AT YOUR HOTEL
MAR, 15(SUN) XIAN SHANGRI-LA GOLDEN FLOWER HOTEL
AMERICAN BREAKFAST. XIAN FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING TOUR. Today visit the
points of interest in Xian. This city was a principal center of Ancient
Chinese Culture. Today, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and
the world famous Qin Museum, where you will see the life-size terra
cotta figures of the Legion of Warriors and Chariots unearthed from the
Tomb of the Emperor who unified China and built the Great Wall. Stroll
along the old City Wall. A visit will also made to the Shaanxi
Provincial Museum. LUNCH AT A LOCAL RESTAURANT. TANG DYNASTY DINNER.
This evening enjoy a Dinner and Cultural Performance at the Tang
Dynasty Theater
MAR. 16 (MON) GUILIN LIJIANG WATERFALL HOTEL
AMERICAN BREAKFAST. XIAN DEPARTURE TRANSFER. Transfer to the airport
for your departure from Xian. FLY TO GUILIN. LUNCH AT A LOCAL
RESTAURANT. Upon arrival at Guilin Airport, you will be met and
transferred to your hotel. GUILIN CITY TOUR. This afternoon, visit the
REED Flute Cave. DINNER AT YOUR HOTEL.
MAR. 17 (TUE) GUILIN LIJIANG WATERFALL HOTEL
AMERICAN BREAKFAST. LI RIVER DAY CRUISE. Today, enjoy a cruise on the
famous Li River where you can see some of the most highly admired and
unusually sculptured Karst Formation. This unique scenery has been
depicted for centuries by Chinese painters. After LUNCH ON BOARD, you
will disembark and visit the Township of Yangshuo, where you can browse
around hundreds of stalls selling handicrafts, antiques and food
products. Afternoon return to Guilin by car. DINNER AT YOUR HOTEL
MAR. 18 (WED) SHANGHAI **RENAISSANCE SHANGHAI YU YUAN HOTEL
AMERICAN BREAKFAST. GUILIN DEPARTURE TRANSFER. Transfer to the airport
for your departure from Guilin. FLY TO SHANGHAI. LUNCH AT A LOCAL
RESTAURANT. SHANGHAI ARRIVAL TRANSFER. Upon arrival at Shanghai
Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. DINNER AT YOUR

MAR. 19 (THU) SHANGHAI **RENAISSANCE SHANGHAI YU YUAN HOTEL
AMERICAN BREAKFAST. SHANGHAI FULL DAY TOUR. The tour of Shanghai, one
of the most fascinating cities in the world, will take in some points
of interest reflecting China’s recent history. You will visit the Jade
Buddha Temple – the home of two rare Statues of Buddha carved from one
piece of white jade, Yu Yuan Garden preserved from the Ming Dynasty
(1369-1644) in all its ancient charm and the Bund Area. LUNCH IS
INCLUDED. DINNER AT YOUR HOTEL. ACROBATIC PERFORMANCE. This evening you

MAR. 20 (FRI) HONG KONG INTERCONTINENTAL GRAND STANFORD

Shanghai Airport for your departure from Shanghai. FLY TO HONG KONG.
HONG KONG ARRIVAL TRANSFER. Upon arrival at Hong Kong International

MAR. 21 (SAT) HONG KONG INTERCONTINENTAL GRAND STANFORD
AMERICAN BREAKFAST. HALF-DAY HONG KONG ISLAND TOUR. Capture the
excitement of Hong Kong with a motor-coach tour of the island. You will
visit Repulse Bay and Aberdeen Fishing Village. Then ride up to Hong
Kong’s highest point, Victoria Peak, for a stunning panoramic view of
the city and the magnificent harbor. LUNCH AT ABERDEEN MARINA CLUB.
MAR. 22 (SUN) HONG KONG INTERCONTINENTAL GRAND STANFORD
AMERICAN BREAKFAST. DAY AT LEISURE. FREE DAY to shop for the many
bargains found in Kowloon, Stanley Market or take an optional tour.

MAR. 23 (MON) HONOLULU AMERICAN BREAKFAST. HONG
KONG DEPARTURE TRANSFER. Transfer to the airport for your departure
from Hong Kong. Catch Japan Airlines flight to Honolulu, arriving the
same morning, After clearing U.S. Customs, proceed home. THANK YOU VERY
