Title HotelNOV. 06 (FRI) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight.

Title HotelNOV. 07 (SAT) KYOTO KYOTO SHIN HANKYU HOTEL
Arrive at Kansai Int’l Airport in Osaka. After clearing Immigration and
Customs formalities, by bus to historic Kyoto via the expressway. Upon
arrival, Free Time to meet your relatives, friends or just rest. Our
hotel is located within easy walking distance to Isetan Department
Stores and the Underground Shopping Mall.
Title HotelNOV. 08 (SUN) KYOTO KYOTO SHIN HANKYU HOTEL
All Day Kyoto City Tour. Visit a World Cultural Heritage Site, “Nijo
Castle,” with its beautiful garden. The castle is an excellent example
of traditional castle defensive structures. It is also famous as a
fabulous palace with “gorgeous painted screens”, “Nightingale Floor”,
etc. Next to Arashiyama with a symbol of the area, “Togetsu Bridge.”
The scenery is amazing and breathtaking. And we will visit the Misora
Hibari Memorial Museum, concerned with great female Japanese singer
“Misora Hibari”, in which her records, films, costumes and living room
were on display. Later return to our hotel and enjoy walking around and
shopping at Kyoto Station and the Underground Shopping Mall.
Title HotelNOV. 09 (MON) TAKAYAMA HIDA HOTEL PLAZA (ONSEN)
Proceed to popular Takayama, which is one of the famous old historical
towns, and often called “Hida’s Kyoto.” Along the way to Takayama,
visit a fruit farm to enjoy either “Persimmon or Mikan (Tangerine)
Picking”. Upon arrival in Takayama, visit Matsuri no mori (Festival)
Museum, exhibit Gorgeous and splendid floats of the Takayama Festival,
one of Japan’s three most beautiful festivals. Also you can see the
World’s biggest drum, Mikoshi float etc. After hotel check-in, good
chance to experience the HOT SPRING BATH and OPEN AIR JACUZZI (Not
Onsen Hot Spring Bath!)
Title HotelNOV. 10 (TUE) TAKAYAMA HIDA HOTEL PLAZA (ONSEN)
In the morning, visit another interesting market in Japan, Takayama
Morning Open Market, and Sannomachi Shopping Street in the Old Town
District. Enjoy walking and shopping for local craftworks, etc. Then
visit the Historical Government House (Takayama Jinya), the only
remaining building of its kind in Japan, with a history of over 300
years. Later enjoy “Apple Picking”, then return to the hotel, go to see
Hirayu Waterfall (210 ft.), one of Japan’s top 100 beautiful
waterfalls. Or you can “Soak, Relax and Refresh yourself” in the HOT
SPRING BATH and OPEN AIR JACUZZI (Not Onsen Hot Spring Bath!)
Title HotelNOV. 11 (WED) KANAZAWA ANA CROWNE PLAZA KANAZAWA
Leave the hotel by bus to visit a World Heritage Site, “Gassho-Zukuri
Village in Gokayama.” This mountain farming village is famed for its
unique architecture. “Gassyo Style” (steep sloping gable roof), was
developed to survive severe weather with heavy snowfall. This is the
only place you can see these historical triangle roofed houses in a
settlement like scenery surrounded by nature as in olden times. Then to
Taira Village to challenge yourself in “making your own traditional
Gokayama Washi Paper.” Also learn the history and tradition of Gokayama
Washi, as well as its manufacturing technique. This paper making
demonstration building was built in the “Gassho-zukuri” style. Later
proceed to Kanazawa, one of the major cities for people traveling in
Japan. After check-in, “Go Holo-Holo” near the hotel before dinner.
Title HotelNOV. 12 (THUR) NOTO PENINSULA NOTO ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN)
Kanazawa is a city full of charm where a lot of old neighborhoods have
been kept intact. In the morning, enjoy a visit to the Old Samurai Town
of Nagamachi, and take a pleasant walk around the old town to see the
elegant Nomura’s Samurai House with its beautiful garden. The ranking
of this house was No. 7 in the Shiosai Rankings of the 2005 Japanese
Garden Journal. Next visit Kenrokuen, considered one of the Three Best
Landscaped Gardens in Japan. This garden has the typical features of a
large treed garden with plentiful water landscapes. After lunch, go to
Hakuza (Gold foil shop). Kanazawa produces 99% of the nation’s gold
leaf. The Golden Tea Ceremony Room used about 40,000 pieces of first
class pure gold leaf, which is a pleasure to see. Then proceed to Noto
Peninsula via the Chirihama Nagisa Drive Way. This beach forms a 5
miles-long natural driveway of packed, fine sand, so hard that any kind
of vehicle can drive on it. Enjoy a drive on the sand along the
seashore before going to our popular resort hotel in Noto Peninsula.

Title HotelNOV. 13 (FRI) WAJIMA / NOTO PENINSULA NOTO ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN)
Proceed to Wajima and visit the famous “Asaichi” (Morning Market), with
about 200 stalls lining the main street. The market offers various
products like vegetables, and folk crafts, but primarily fresh seafood
landed daily at Wajima Port, including delicious “Smoked Abalone.” Then
visit the Kiriko Lantern Museum. 22 Kiriko Lantern Floats and musical
accompaniment items, unique to the many festivals of Noto, are
exhibited. After lunch, go to a main attraction in Noto Peninsula, Noto
Kongo with sheer cliffs and unusual rock formations. Also visit
Senmaida, known for its terraced small rice paddies constructed on the
steep hillsides. There are more than a thousand paddies standing
downward to the ocean. Then back to the hotel and Soak and Relax in the
big HOT SPRING BATH and Out-Door ROTEN-BURO!

* Visit Uozu Buried Forest Museum. See displays of buried
forest designated as a National Monument. The ruins of the virgin cedar
forest buried 2,000 years ago are preserved. The trunks were excavated
are breathtaking. And visit Firefly Squid Museum Enjoy a various types
of displays include the “Illusion Theater” to learn the secret and
charms of phosphorescent firefly squid (Hotaruika). Then proceed to
Hakuba, which is part of the Japan Alps National Park. We will stay at
a nice mountain resort hotel Try the Jacuzzi in your room.

Head Daio Wasabi Farm in Azumino to see Japan’s biggest Wasabi farm and
enjoy shopping of Wasabi products. And visit Lake Swan to see wild
swans come from Russia, only can be seen during the Winter season. Also
visit Milo Factory. Nagano Prefecture is No. #1 in the production of
Miso. Then to visit the Music box Museum in Moegi no Mura in Kiyosato
heights. You can stroll around in the park with lots of stores. Then to
our hotel surrounded by the forest. Tonight Soak and Relax in the HOT
SPRING BATH & OPEN AIR ROCK BATH.
Title HotelNOV. 16 (MON) IKEBUKURO, TOKYO CROWNE PLAZA METROPOLITAN HOTEL
Proceed to Katsunuma, producing “made in Japan” wine over 130 years. We
will visit the Winery and taste wine in the home of Japanese wine. Next
visit another local specialty Shingen Mocha Factory. Shingen mochi is a
most famous sweet as a souvenir of Yamanashi. You can buy those at the
factory outlet shop. Then proceed to Lake Kawaguchi on the foot of Mt.
Fuji. If weather is good, we should be able to see Mt. Fuji on the way.
We will see Saru mawashi (Monkey performance) Show. Featuring familiar
acrobatics and comic skits by talented and adorable monkeys. Then to
our hotel in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, located within easy walking distance to
Ikebukuro Shopping district. After check-in, Free time to finish
Shopping, Packing, etc.
Title HotelNOV. 17 (TUE) IKEBUKURO, TOKYO CROWNE PLAZA METROPOLITAN HOTEL
Go to Ryogoku, the center of the Sumo World. Then visit Edo Tokyo
Museum, which displays the historic heritage of the city of Tokyo and
its precursor Edo continuing for 400 years. Later return to our hotel
in Ikebukuro. Tokyo, and FREE TIME TO CONTINUE SHOPPING, PACKING, ETC.
Your rooms are paid for, but meals (LUNCH/DINNER) will be at your own
expense to let you eat your favorite foods before returning home. We
will give everyone a carton box to use for packing their gifts. (2
Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance. The member will pay for any
excess). AFTERNOON IS FREE TIME. “WE WILL HAVE AN {OPTIONAL} TOUR BY
TRAIN”. Good chance to visit Ameyoko, Asakusa, etc.

At checkout time, our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the
boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon,
proceed to Narita Int’l Airport to catch a Japan Airlines flight in the
evening to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, NOVEMBER 18, 2009
(WEDNESDAY). After clearing U.S. Customs, proceed home. THANK YOU VERY

plane and hotel reservations. Members may return to Honolulu

you if you need their assistance in returning home individually, and
