sceneries according to the seasons. Then, stop by Chuncheon City famous
for “Dakgalbi” the roasted chicken ribs. Let’s just try it for our
lunch today in Myeongdong, Chuncheon, the very place where the famous
Korean TV Drama “Winter Sonata” was filmed and “you can just feel the

incredible collection of 19th Century Gramophones and 1st Generation
Audio Systems. Next visit Seongyojang, a typical aristocrat’s house
from the late Joseon Dynasty, offering a peek into the lives of Korea’s
ancestors. The house was originally 99 rooms, but only 55 remain. The
reason for the odd number of original rooms is because no structure
other than the royal palace could be built with 100 rooms or more – no
matter the person’s wealth or power. Seongyojang is the perfect example
to understand “Traditional Korean Geomancy”. It was said in olden days
that it was good luck to build a house with a mountain at its back and
a river in its front, and that is the exact location of Seongyojang.
Later return to our hotel in Yangyang. DINNER & ACCOMMODATION AT
SOL BEACH LA HOTEL.
