APRIL 12 (MON) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight.
FREE MOVIES and DRINKS.

APRIL 13 (TUE) TOKYO HOTEL METROPOLITAN TOKYO
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport and after government formalities, by bus to our hotel in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. It will be Free Time to meet your relatives, friends or just rest.

APRIL 14 (WED) KINUGAWA ASAYA HOTEL - (ONSEN)

Proceed to Nikko, chosen as a three-star sightseeing spot by French guide book, a highly valued source. Delightfully driving the Iroha zigzag driveway, with 20 hairpin curves to the Kegon Waterfalls, known as one of the finest three waterfalls of Japan (318 ft.). Then go to Nikko Toshogu Shrine (World Heritage Site) known for the carving of the Three Monkeys; see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil, which became the symbol of Nikko. Then to our hotel in Kinugawa Hot Spring Town. Soak and relax in the first HOTSPRING BATH and OPEN AIR BATH on this tour.

APRIL 15 (THU) INAWASHIRO HOTEL LISTEL INAWASHIRO - (ONSEN)

Head to Lake Rindo Area, Tochigi. See the Begonia and enjoy Strawberry Picking at Ohana no Shiro (Flower Castle). Also shop for local souvenirs at this location. Next visit Asahi Beer Factory to see the process of brewing beer and taste freshly made beer! Then proceed to our hotel facing Lake Inawashiro via Koriyama. After check in, enjoy strolling around the hotel. Soak and relax in HOTSPRING BATH and OPEN AIR BATH.

APRIL 16 (FRI) NIIGATA HOTEL OKURA NIIGATA
Go to Tsuruga Castle, known as the tragedy of Byakkotai (Teenage samurais who committed Harakiri) Also famous for Cherry trees around the castle. We will see Cherry Blossoms blooming if timing is right. Proceed to Niigata visit Niigata Prefectural Botanical Garden for Rhododendron and Azaleas. Also stop at Niigata Furusato Mura for shopping of local specialties and see the History of Niigata. Our hotel is located at the main shopping area in Niigata city. After check-in good chance to holo-holo and shopping.

APRIL 17 (SAT) SADO ISLAND (**NO WESTERN ROOMS) HOTEL AZUMA - (ONSEN)
Proceed to NIIGATA pier to board the JETFOIL to SADO ISLAND. There is a lot of picturesque coastal scenery and also visit to see the old customs such as the Okesa dance. First, enjoy the fantastic view of the Senkaku Bay Scenic with its steep cliffs stretches over 1 mile. Next: visit its famous Gold Mine Museum. See the Meoto Iwa Rocks (Meoto means husband and wife) before going to the hotel. Two rocks lining close to each other like a couple. After dinner go to see Sado Okesa (traditional local dance in Sado). You get to sleep on traditional tatami floor. NO WESTERN ROOM IS AVAILABLE. Soak and relax in HOTSPRING BATH and OPEN AIR BATH.
Also private Onsen bath (2 rooms) is available (own expense)

APRIL 18 (SUN) NIIGATA HOTEL OKURA NIIGATA
In the morning stop at Toki No Mori Park to see symbol bird (Crested Ibis) of Sado Island. Visit Mano Park filled with Cherry trees. We will see cherry blossoms blooming, if timing is right. Later, catch the JETFOIL again back to Niigata City. After going back to the hotel, it will be free time to meet your relatives, shopping or just rest.

APRIL 19 (MON) NIIGATA HOTEL OKURA NIIGATA

In the morning proceed to Murakami City to visit Iyoboya Salmon Museum. (Iyoboya means salmon in this area) to see fishing methods, salmon recipes and a little hatchery and a fish tank of river fish on display. Oshagiri Museum with exhibition of Floats actually used for Murakami Taisai Festival. Then back to Niigata city. We will see tulip blooming along the way to Murakami, if timing is right. Niigata produces the best rice in Japan. We will enjoy “grilling” senbei (rice cracker) at Senbei Kingdom before going back to the hotel. Also you can buy fresh Senbei at the factory store. Visit Imayo Tsukasa Sake factory to see inside a sake brewery and to tasting Niigata’s Sake.

APRIL 20 (TUE) AKAKURA AKAKURA KANKO HOTEL- (ONSEN)

Visit the Shirone Kite Museum. There are 800 collections of kites and 3-D movie. Visit Echigo Tenryo No Sato, a theme park of the EDO period (1603-1867) Go to Teradomari Fish Market with its local seafood, before going to the hotel at AKAKURA Onsen. Soak and relax in HOTSPING BATH and OPEN AIR BATH. Also private Onsen (1 room) is available (free)

APRIL 21 (WED) KUSATSU KUSATSU NOW RESORT HOTEL- (ONSEN)

Visit OBUSE TOWN, called A little Kyoto In Nagano. The town is renowned for all its charming streets with historic sites. Obuse is famous for chestnuts. Good chance to buy the variety of products made from locally grown chestnuts. Then head to Kusatsu, one of the three best Onsens on Japan. After check in at the hotel, for those of you who wish to catch the hotel bus to YUBATAKE (hot spring field) the symbol-existence of Kusatsu and the resort’s main source of hot water. We will see the YUMONI SHOW. Enjoy traditional Kusatsu folk song and dance. Also Sai No Kawara Park with river steam rising from it. Soak and relax in HOTSPRING BATH and OPEN AIR BATH. Also private Onsen (5 rooms) is available (own expense)

APRIL 22 (THU) TAKASAKI HOTEL METROPOLITAN TAKASAKI
Proceed to Onioshidashi Lava Garden, you can observe an enormous stream of solidified lava formed by the eruption of Mt Asama in 1783. In the garden, platforms and promenades are provided for viewing the whole area. Go to Komoro Winery to see how wine in this area is produced and tasting and shopping for local wine. Visit Misato Shibazakura Park to see Shibazakura (Moss phlox) (if timing is right). Our hotel is in the same building of Takasaki station, a good place to enjoy shopping.

APRIL 23 (FRI) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL
Visit Takasaki Kannon Statue. You can climb up inside of the body of the statue if you wish to. (137 ft. high) And you will see Daruma Doll (Takasaki’s mascot). One of the most popular talismans of good luck in modern Japan. Then proceed to Yokohama, 2nd largest city in Japan. Hotel is located within easy walking distance of department stores and underground shopping. After arrival free time for shopping or meeting your friends or rest (Lunch and Dinner will be your Own Expense)

APRIL 24 (SAT) {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY} {LUNCH ON YOUR OWN / DINNER ON THE PLANE}
At check out time, our agents will come to tape & tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon, proceed to Narita Int’l Airport to catch Japan Airlines flight in the evening to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, April 24, 2010 (SAT). After clearing U.S. Custom, proceed home. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR JOINING OUR NIIGATA SADO FLOWER VIEWING TOUR #6 WITH 5 ONSENS. Clients remaining back will be assisted in obtaining train, plane and hotel reservations. Members may return to Honolulu individually, but no later than 3 months from day of departure. Weekday returns will cost less Per Person. TOUR CONDITIONS
AIR TRANSPORTATION: Airfare is based on VALUE FARE.
Minimum stay is 3-Days and maximum stay is 3 Months. $225.00 Cancellation Fee.
INCLUDES: All transportation included in the itinerary, all hotel accommodations, meals and all sightseeing listed, all transfer of passenger and baggage, souvenir picture and tour tax. Round trip air transportation by Economy Jet.
DOES NOT INCLUDE: Individual expenses after termination of tour as stated in itinerary. Also, wine, liquor, mineral water, laundry and other items of personal nature, cost of obtaining passport and visa or other necessary documents.
BAGGAGE: Limited to (2) pieces (50 pounds per suitcase) and (1) hand-carry.
RESPONSIBILITY: The tour organizer or any travel agencies involved, act only as agents for the passengers in regards to travel, sightseeing, hotel and meal arrangements, and other tour services. The organizer/agency will accept no responsibility or liability in respect of either person or property for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity, however, occasioned, sustained, or suffered in or during any journey, trip, or tour, or in carrying out of any arrangements booked by or through it.

If the agency becomes aware that a passenger has a special chronic health problem, the agency shall ensure that it is provided with a letter from the passenger’s personal physician stating the nature of such health problem and certifying that the passenger is physically fit to participate in the tour. Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the tour. Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members. However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.

Baggage’s are at owner’s own risk. The right is reversed to make any necessary changes in tour if deemed advisable. Also, the airlines and other transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their carriers concerned. The airline ticket and passage contract in use by the airlines concerned when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of the tour and/or passenger. WATER: Is safe to drink throughout Japan.
TRAVEL ETIQUETTE: No one likes to be known as the last to arrive. When traveling in a group it is very important that everyone be punctual. Please remember, also, NO SMOKING AND TO ROTATE SEATS ON BUSES. Everyone likes to sit by the window and front seats.
FOOD REQUEST: If you cannot eat certain foods, please do not forget to turn-in your request form, 1 week before departure or earlier, so we may try to comply with your request.

PORTERS AT HONOLULU AIRPORT: We have complimentary porter service at Honolulu International Airport on all Japan tour departures on JAPAN AIRLINES. FLIGHTS ONLY.

TOUR CONDITIONS REMINDER
The COST OF TOUR includes ground tour an airfare. The ground tour is based on ¥100 Yens to a U.S. DOLLAR RATE. In case of any re-valuation, the price shall be adjusted accordingly at time of payment. See Yen Chart. The airfares are present rates and should the airfares be changed, adjustments will be made accordingly. The YEN RATE OF THE DAY will be used at time of payment. THANK YOU!

TOUR MEMBERS NOT PURCHASING THEIR AIRLINE TICKETS THROUGH TOHOKU TRAVEL SERVICE, INC. WILL BE ASSESSED A $225.00 PER PERSON SURCHARGE. SHOULD YOU ARRIVE AFTER THE TOUR GROUPS ARRIVAL TIME, YOU MUST FIND YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO THE HOTEL. SAME GOES FRO DEPARTURES FROM JAPAN. IF YOUR FLIGHT LEAVES EARLIER THAN THE TOUR GROUP, YOU MUST FIND YOUR OWN WAY TO THE AIRPORT. THE TOUR AIRFARE PORTION WILL BE SUBTRACTED FROM THE TOUR PACKAGE COST. THANK YOU!
