JULY 08 (THU) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a
Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES & DRINKS.
JULY 09 (FRI) ODAIBA GRAND PACIFIC LE DAIBA
Narita Int’l Airport and after entry formalities, proceed to our hotel
in Odaiba, a new major shopping district of Tokyo. After check-in, FREE
TIME to meet your relatives, friends, or just rest.
JULY 10 (SAT) NARUSAWA JIRAGONNO FUJI NO YAKATA (ONSEN) ♨
to Lake Yamanaka. Visit the Hanano-Miyako Park with Poppy, California
Poppy and Zinnia blooming (If Timing Is Right). Then go to Lake
Kawaguchi and see to the Herb Festival. You can see Lavender blooming
with Mt. Fuji for a background (Weather Permitting). Later go to Lake
Sai Iyashino Sato (Old Folklore Town), with a collection of more than
23 thatched roof houses. Our hotel is located at the foot of Mt. Fuji
with all the room windows facing Mt. Fuji. Enjoy your first ONSEN HOT
SPRING and OPEN AIR BATH!
JULY 11(SUN) YATSUGATAKE YATSUGATAKE ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
to the Fuji Kachoen Begonia Garden with its beautiful flowers such as
Begonia, Fuchsia, etc. Also see the many different types of Owls and
Parrots. You can actually try feeding some of the Parrots also. Then to
Katsunuma and have fun “Picking Peaches” which are in season. Next
visit the Kikyoya Factory which makes the famous Shingen Mochi” and
also enjoy shopping at the factory outlet store. Later stop at the
Chateraise Hakushu Factory to try their “freshly made ice cream” before
going to the hotel. Enjoy the ONSEN HOT SPRING and OPEN AIR BATH!
JULY 12 (MON) KARUIZAWA GREEN PLAZA KARUIZAWA (ONSEN) ♨
through the Kirigamine Heights while seeing the Daylily blooming during
this season. You will see the scenery filled with its yellow color (If
Timing Is Right). Later stop at Lake Shirakaba for a brief break where
the fresh air will refresh you. Then to Komoro Town and enjoy
“Blueberry Picking”, which can be done only during this time of the
season. Taste the “Made in Japan” Blueberries! Finally proceed to our
hotel in Karuizawa where many tourists stay during this season to get
away from the heat. Enjoy the ONSEN HOT SPRING and OPEN AIR BATH!
JULY 13 (TUE) MINAKAMI MINAKAMI KOGEN HOTEL 200 (ONSEN) ♨
to Shimonita Town known for its “Konnyaku”. Go to see the Konnyaku
Factory and “try tasting the fresh Konnyaku” from this area. Then visit
the Usaburo Kokeshi Studio and “see craftsmen making Kokeshi Dolls”
which can also be purchased here. Our hotel is located at Minakami
Onsen. Enjoy the ONSEN HOT SPRING and OPEN AIR BATH!
JULY 14 (WED) KINUGAWA ASAYA HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Nikko, a “World Heritage Site”. Pass Senjogahara, a marsh plateau
extending across the foot of Mt. Nantai. Visit the Resort Villa of the
Italian Embassy located by Lake Chuzenji. This western style building
was actually used during 1928 to 1997. Then go to Kegon Falls (318 feet
high), “one of the three highest waterfalls in Japan”. It is a “Symbol
of Nikko” with two aspects “dynamic and elegant”. Later drive
through “Iroha Winding Road with 48 hair pin curves”. Each corner has a
letter from the “Old Japanese Alphabet”. Enjoy the ONSEN HOT SPRING and
OPEN AIR BATH on the hotel roof top!
JULY 15 (THU) KINUGAWA ASAYA HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Go to the Nikko
Saru Gundan Theater (Monkey Theater), featuring familiar acrobatics and
comic skits by talented and adorable monkeys. Next visit “Tobu World
Square”, a theme park that has 1:25 scale models of the most famous
UNESCO designated “World Cultural Heritage Sites in the World”. Later
visit the colorful and gorgeous “World Heritage Toshogu Shrine”, before
going back to the hotel. Enjoy the ONSEN HOT SPRING and OPEN AIR BATH!
JULY 16 (FRI) URA BANDAI URA BANDAI NEKOMA HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
to To no Hetsuri, where rocks in the river shaped through erosion
creates a very curious view. Then proceed to Ouchi-juku, an old post
station during the Edo Period (1600-1863). Numerous traditional
thatched roof houses lining the street recreate’s the atmosphere of the
Edo Period. Later, go to Aizu Wakamatsu City and on to the Ura-Bandai
Plateau. Stop by a “Melon Farm” to “Taste the Fresh Melon” in season.
Finally, go to the hotel located in a place of natural beauty with Lake
Hibara. Enjoy the ONSEN HOT SPRING and OPEN AIR BATH.
JULY 17 (SAT) NASU RINDOKO ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
morning, “enjoy a boat ride on Lake Hibara while viewing Mt. Bandai”.
Then to Takatama Gold Mine which kept operating for 400 years before
finally closing in 1976. A total of 28 tons of gold and 280 tons of
silver were output here. We will ride on a lorry to go inside the mine.
(Temperature stays at a constant 550F throughout the year}. Next to
Nasu Heights and visit the beautiful Begonia Flower Park and Okashi no
Shiro (Sweets Castle). Later proceed to the hotel, one of the big
resort hotels at Nasu Plateau. Enjoy your last Onsen! The Open Air Bath
of the building we will stay in uses two different sources of Onsen Hot
JULY 18 (SUN) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Go to the Trick Art Museum and see its
“collection of trickery art”. Some of the pictures allow you to become
a part of it. Then go to the Big AEON Shopping Center for shopping and
lunch. In the afternoon, proceed to Yokohama, the 2nd biggest city in
Japan. The hotel is located close to the Department Stores, a Big
Electronics Store, 100 Yen Shop and connected to the Underground
JULY 19 (MON) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Day Yokohama City Tour”. Visit the Wholesale Market to buy Tsukenomo,
Narazuke and other items. Then to the Yokohama Bay Bridge Sky Walk.
Walk through the passage way under the Yokohama Bay Bridge (2,821 feet
long), which opened in 1989. From the observatory, you can see the
Yokohama Bay Area and “Minato Mirai” with its group of modern style
buildings. Proceed to Yamashita Park where we will go inside the Huge
Passenger Ship “Hikawamaru”, which used to sail between Japan and
Seattle. You will be able to see the guest rooms and dining room
actually used by the passengers. Later return to the hotel. UPON
ARRIVAL, FREE TIME TO FINISH SHOPPING, PACKING, ETC. Your rooms are
paid for, but meals (LUNCH/DINNER) will be at your own expense to let
you eat your favorite foods before returning home. We will give
everyone a carton box for packing his or her gifts. (2 Pieces Per
Person Baggage Allowance. Any excess will be paid for by the member).
JULY 20(TUE) HONOLULU
At checkout time our agents will come
around to tape and tie up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be
checked-in down. In the afternoon, proceed to Narita Int’l Airport to
catch Japan Airlines flight in the evening to Honolulu, arriving the
same morning, JULY 20, 2010 (TUESDAY). After clearing U.S. Customs,
proceed home. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR JOINING OUR TOHOKU TRAVEL’S NEW

will be assisted in obtaining train, plane and hotel reservation.
Members may return to Honolulu individually, but no later than 3 months
from day of departure. Weekend returns will cost more per person.
Yokohama Travel, Inc. will charge you if you need their assistance in
returning home individually, around $90.00 per person from Yokohama.

COST: NO COST TO TOUR MEMBERS
ATTIRE: VERY INFORMAL - CASUAL WEAR (LUNCHEON TAKES ABOUT 1 ½ HOURS)
AIR TRANSPORTATION: Airfare is based on VALUE FARE.
Minimum stay is 3-Days and maximum stay is 3 Months. $225.00 Cancellation Fee.
INCLUDES: All transportation included in the itinerary, all hotel
accommodations, meals and all sightseeing listed, all transfer of
passenger and baggage, souvenir picture and tour tax. Roundtrip air
transportation by Economy Jet.
DOES NOT INCLUDE: Individual expenses after termination of tour as
stated in itinerary. Also, wine, liquor, mineral water, laundry and
other items of personal nature, cost of obtaining passport and visa or
other necessary documents.
BAGGAGE: Limited to (2) pieces and (1) hand-carry.
RESPONSIBILITY: The tour organizer or any travel agencies involved, act
only as agents for the passengers in regards to travel, sightseeing,
hotel and meal arrangements, and other tour services. The
organizer/agency will accept no responsibility or liability in respect
of either person or property for any loss, damage, injury, accident,
delay or irregularity, however, occasioned, sustained, or suffered in
or during any journey, trip, or tour, or in carrying out of any
arrangements booked by or through it.
If the agency becomes aware that a passenger has a special chronic
health problem, the agency shall ensure that it is provided with a
letter from the passenger’s personal physician stating the nature of
such health problem and certifying that the passenger is physically fit
to participate in the tour. Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial
membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone
and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible
with the interests of the tour. Further, we reserve the right to refuse
the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that
such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly
inconvenience the majority of tour members. However, if a handicapped
passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special
assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes
total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.
Baggage’s are at owner’s own risk. The right is reserved to make any
necessary changes in tour if deemed advisable. Also, the airlines and
other transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible
for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on
board their carriers concerned. The airline ticket and passage contract
in use by the airlines concerned when issued shall constitute the sole
contract between the airlines and purchaser of the tour and/or
passenger. The services of any IATA Carrier will be used as required.

TOUR CONDITIONS REMINDER
COST OF TOUR includes ground tour and airfare. The ground tour is based
on ¥100 Yens to a U.S. DOLLAR RATE. In case of any re-valuation, the
price shall be adjusted accordingly at time of payment. See Yen Chart.
The airfares are present rates and should the airfares be changed,
adjustments will be made accordingly. The YEN RATE OF THE DAY will be

YOU ARRIVE AFTER THE TOUR GROUP’S ARRIVAL TIME, YOU MUST FIND YOUR OWN
TRANSPORTATION TO THE HOTEL. SAME GOES FOR DEPARTURES FROM JAPAN. IF
YOUR FLIGHT LEAVES EARLIER THAN THE TOUR GROUP, YOU MUST FIND YOUR OWN
WAY TO THE AIRPORT. THE TOUR AIRFARE PORTION WILL BE SUBTRACTED FROM
