OCT. 15 (FRI) HONOLULU {ITINERARY REVISED OCTOBER 15, 2009}
Leave Honolulu International Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES and DRINKS.

OCT. 16 (SAT) TOKYO GRAND PACIFIC LE DAIBA
Arrive at Narita International Airport, and after government formalities, go directly to the hotel in Odaiba, Tokyo by bus. After hotel check-in, FREE TIME to meet your relatives, friends or just rest.

OCT. 17 (SUN) LAKE SUWA RAKO HANANOI HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Proceed to Katsunuma, the largest producer of grapes in Japan, to enjoy “Picking Grapes” which are in season. Then visit beautiful Shosenkyo Gorge to enjoy the beauty of the enormous fantastically shaped rocks and swift fresh water currents. Our hotel is located in Kamisuwa Spa near Lake Suwa. Good chance to try the Relaxing HOT SPRING BATH and ROTEN-BURO (OPEN-AIR BATH)! {A Private Onsen Bath (Kazoku-buro) (Only 1 Room) is available (At Your Own Expense)}.

OCT. 18 (MON) HINATAYAMA HEIGHTS KUROYON ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨

In the morning go to Shiojiri Town to enjoy “Apple Picking” and taste the “juicy and sweet Nagano Apple in season”. Then proceed to the old castle town Matsumoto City, and visit Matsumoto Castle, designated as a National Treasure. This is one of the most complete and beautiful among Japan’s original castles. The moats and stonewalls are the remnants of the original structure built in 1504. Corridors connect the imposing six-story donjon, designated as a National Treasure, with a small keep on the northern side. Later visit Daio Wasabi Farm (Horse-Radish Farm), the biggest Wasabida (Horse-Radish Field) in Japan to see the Wasabi Farm and enjoy shopping for Wasabi products. Proceed to our hotel located at the foot of the Northern Japan Alps. This hotel is a popular Alpine Resort Hotel surrounded by nature. Relax and Refresh in the HOT SPRING BATH and ROTEN-BURO (OPEN-AIR BATH)!

OCT. 19 (TUE) TOYAMA TOYAMA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Go by bus to Ogisawa for a Whole Day Sightseeing Trip to view the “Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.” This is a journey through glorious alpine scenery. One can enjoy a superb view of 9,045 ft. high mountains from the convenience of a cable car, bus, ropeway and trolley bus. First take the trolley bus from Ogisawa to Kuroyon Dam. Walk across the top class arch-style dam to Kurobe Station to catch the under-mountain cable car to Kurobedaira and take the ropeway to Daikanbo to enjoy seeing a panoramic view of the Japan Alps. Board the tunnel bus for Murodo Plateau, overlooking the Ushiro Tateyama Mountain. Then down to Tateyama via Midagahara and proceed to the hotel in Toyama City located near Toyama Station and connected to a department store with a 100 Yen Shop.

OCT. 20 (WED) NAGAHAMA NAGAHAMA ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Proceed to Kanazawa, one of Japan’s major sightseeing cities. And visit its main attraction Kenrokuen Park, one of the Japan’s three most beautiful landscape gardens. It has the typical features of a large treed garden landscaped in the go-round style. Visit Nihonkai Fish Market carrying fresh seafood from the Japan Sea as well as dried seafood, seaweed, souvenirs etc. Proceed to Lake Biwa, the biggest lake in Japan (covers 259 square miles). Hotel is located near the lake. Good chance to Relax, in the BIG BATH with HOT SPRING ROTEN-BURO (OPEN-AIR BATH).

OCT. 21 (THU) KYOTO KYOTO SHIN HANKYU HOTEL
In the morning, drive over Lake Biwa Bridge the lake’s largest bridge spanning the neck of the Lake. Enjoy a panoramic view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Next, head to Ohara, Kyoto and visit the Shibazuke Pickles Store. Kyoto’s traditional salted and fermented vegetable product mainly consisted of egg apples and basil leaves. Then go to the colorful Heian Shrine, built on the occasion of the 1,100th anniversary of the Heian Capital foundation. Visit its exquisitely landscaped strolling garden “the Shin-en Garden”. Our hotel is located in front of Kyoto Station with its Underground Shopping Mall, where you will have a chance to walk around and shop before diner.

OCT. 22 (FRI) KYOTO KYOTO SHIN HANKYU HOTEL
All Day Kyoto City Tour of the most historical city in Japan attracting a large number of tourists, from all over the world. Visit the World Heritage Site, Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), Kyoto’s Symbolic Temple. The main pavilion is covered by gold leaf and situated picturesquely in its garden. Then visit Kyoto Handicraft Center with a variety of Kyoto’s souvenir for shopping and lunch. Next visit Nishijin Textile Museum to enjoy seeing Kimono Show and shopping. Also visit the Higashi Honganji Temple with its main hall which is Kyoto’s largest wooden structure.

OCT. 23 (SAT) OKAYAMA HOTEL GRANVIA OKAYAMA
Go to Ako, known as the place of Chushingura, the Story of the 47 Samurai. We will visit Ako Castle Ruins and Oishi Shrine which tell you more about the story. Ako Castle is well known as a residence of Lord Takuminokami Asano and his loyal retainers. And Oishi Shrine is constructed in dedication to the 47 Loyal Samurai of Ako. You will see stone statues of 47 samurai standing along the entrance path to the shrine. Proceed to Okayama City to visit Korakuenn Park, another one of the three most beautiful landscape gardens in Japan. Our hotel is located next to Okayama Station, and near Takashimaya Dept. Store and underground shopping mall.

OCT. 24 (SUN) HIROSHIMA HOTEL GRANVIA HIROSHIMA
Walk to Okayama Station to catch the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) to Hiroshima, the first city to suffer from the Atomic Bomb. See the Atomic Bomb Dome (Ruins of the Industry Promotion Hall), which was majestic and beautiful before the blast, and is the only Atomic Bombed building remaining in the city. Visit the Peace Memorial Park, containing a modern-style Peace Memorial Hall, Peace Memorial Museum, Hiroshima Memorial Cenotaph for Victims of the Atomic Bomb and many other memorial monuments. The Peace Memorial Museum contains displays showing the history of Hiroshima before and after the bombing. Later go to our hotel connected to Hiroshima Station and easy walking distance to the Underground Shopping Mall and Department Stores. You will be able to enjoy shopping this night also.

OCT. 25 (MON) HIROSHIMA HOTEL GRANVIA HIROSHIMA
Proceed to the beautiful sacred island Miyajima and visit the colorful Itsukushima Shrine. It is a World Heritage Site and One of the Best Three Views of Japan. Then go to Iwakuni to see its famous Kintai Bridge (Brocaded Bridge). It is one of the three most famous bridges in Japan because of its elegant form. Later return back to the hotel.

OCT. 26 (TUE) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Proceed to Hiroshima Airport to catch a domestic flight to Haneda Airport. Upon arrival, head to Yokohama, the 2nd biggest city in Japan. After hotel check-in, enjoy “Holo-Holo” near our hotel located close to the Department Stores, a Big Electronics Store, 100 Yen Shop and an Underground Shopping Area. Upon arrival at the hotel it will be “FREE TIME” TO FINISH SHOPPING, PACKING, ETC. Your rooms are paid for but meals (LUNCH/DINNER) will be “At Your Own Expense” to let you eat your favorite foods before returning home. We will give everyone a carton box to use for packing their gifts. (2 Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance. Any excess will be paid for by the member).

OCT. 27 (WED) HONOLULU {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}
At check-out time our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon, proceed to Narita Int’l Airport to catch a Japan Airlines flight in the evening to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, OCTOBER 27, 2010 (WEDNESDAY). Clients remaining back will be assisted in obtaining train, plane and hotel reservations. Members may return to Honolulu individually but no later than 3 months from day of departure. TOUR CONDITIONS
AIR TRANSPORTATION: Airfare is based on VALUE FARE.
Minimum stay is 3-Days and maximum stay is 3 Months. $225.00 Cancellation Fee.
INCLUDES: All transportation included in the itinerary, all hotel accommodations, meals and all sightseeing listed, all transfer of passenger and baggage, souvenir picture and tour tax. Roundtrip air transportation by Economy Jet.
DOES NOT INCLUDE: Individual expenses after termination of tour as stated in itinerary.
Also, wine, liquor, mineral water, laundry and other items of personal nature, cost of obtaining passport and visa or other necessary documents.
BAGGAGE: Limited to (2) pieces and (1) hand-carry.
RESPONSIBILITY: The tour organizer or any travel agencies involved, act only as agents for the passengers in regards to travel, sightseeing, hotel and meal arrangements, and other tour services. The organizer/agency will accept no responsibility or liability in respect of either person or property for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity, however, occasioned, sustained, or suffered in or during any journey, trip, or tour, or in carrying out of any arrangements booked by or through it.
If the agency becomes aware that a passenger has a special chronic health problem, the agency shall ensure that it is provided with a letter from the passenger’s personal physician stating the nature of such health problem and certifying that the passenger is physically fit to participate in the tour. Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the tour. Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members. However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.
Baggage’s are at owner’s own risk. The right is reserved to make any necessary changes in tour if deemed advisable. Also, the airlines and other transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their carriers concerned. The airline ticket and passage contract in use by the airlines concerned when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of the tour and/or passenger. TRAVEL ETIQUETTE: No one likes to be known as the last to arrive. When traveling in a group it is very important that everyone be punctual. Please remember, also, NO SMOKING AND TO ROTATE SEATS ON BUSES. Everyone likes to sit by the window and front seats.
FOOD REQUEST: If you cannot eat certain foods, please do not forget to turn in your request form, 1 week before departure or earlier, so we may try to comply with your request.

The COST OF TOUR includes ground tour and airfare. The ground tour is based on ¥100 Yens to a U.S. DOLLAR RATE. In case of any re-valuation, the price shall be adjusted accordingly at time of payment. Please See Yen Chart. TOUR MEMBERS NOT PURCHASING THEIR AIRLINE TICKETS THROUGH TOHOKU TRAVEL SERVICE, INC. WILL BE ASSESSED A $225.00 PER PERSON SURCHARGE. SHOULD YOU ARRIVE AFTER THE TOUR GROUP’S ARRIVAL TIME, YOU MUST FIND YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO THE HOTEL. SAME GOES FOR DEPARTURES FROM JAPAN. IF YOUR FLIGHT LEAVES EARLIER THAN THE TOUR GROUP, YOU MUST FIND YOUR OWN WAY TO THE AIRPORT. THE TOUR AIRFARE PORTION WILL BE SUBTRACTED FROM THE TOUR PACKAGE COST. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
