NOV. 3 (WED) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES AND DRINKS.

NOV. 4 (THU) HAKATA (FUKUOKA) HOTEL NIKKO FUKUOKA
Arrive at Nagoya, Narita or Kansai Int’l Airport. After clearance of government formalities, transfer to a connecting flight to Fukuoka Airport. After arrival in Fukuoka by bus to the hotel in Hakata the biggest city in Kyushu.

NOV. 5 (FRI) HAKATA (FUKUOKA) HOTEL NIKKO FUKUOKA
Take a brief city tour of Fukuoka. In the morning, visit Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, dedicated to great scholars and the Seat of Regional Government 1,300 years ago. Many stores line the alley here. Then to the Asahi Beer Factory to see the process of making beer and learn it’s technology. Also “Enjoy Tasting The Freshly Brewed Asahi Beer”! Next proceed to Fukuoka Tower (767 ft.) to get a “3600 Panoramic View of Fukuoka City & Hakata Bay”. There is also a store carrying Omiyage from the Hakata Area. After going back to the hotel, we will take you to Shopping Area near the hotel. {This portion is “Optional” for those interested}. (You can stay back at the hotel and rest, if you wish to.)

NOV. 6 (SAT) KARATSU KARATSU ROYAL HOTEL
Proceed to Karatsu in Saga Prefecture and enjoy “Mikan (Tangerine) Picking” which is in season. Then drive along Niji no Matsubara (Pine Tree Forest), the most picturesque landscape in Saga with 1,000,000 Black Pine Trees lining the coast line. Visit Ponpoku Mura to see the Begonia flowers. Also see Karatsu Castle, which faces Karatsu Bay. By going to the top of the rebuilt donjon of the castle, you can get a superb view of Genkainada Bay and Niji no Matsubara. Later go to Karatsu Kunchi Miseum. Karatsu Kunchi is an annual festival which is held every November with a history of over 100 years. The museum displays 14 huge, generously decorated floats (with figures of Lions, Helmets, Fish, Ships, etc.) which are actually used in the festival parade. Our hotel has a Big Public Bath with a nice view of the river.

NOV. 7 (SUN) NAGASAKI ANA HOTEL GLOVER HILL NAGASAKI
Head to the Yobuko Morning Market, which is one of 3 major morning markets in Japan. A wide variety of fresh fish and dried fish are sold at its stalls. Enjoy the lively atmosphere typical of fishing ports. Then go to Imari known for its famous porcelain (Imari Yaki and Arita Yaki). Visit Umino Silk Road Kan with its display of when merchants in this area prospered from the sale of porcelain. Porcelain can also be purchased at the store here. This building is a rebuilt “Old Merchant House” and an actual one is located right next to it. Continue on to Sasebo, a port city where the Japan Maritime Self Defense Force and U.S. Navy Base are stationed. Go up to Yumiharidake Observatory, to get a view of the city. You will be able to see the Navy Base, Kujuku Island and Nature of Sasebo from here. Later proceed to our hotel in Nagasaki City. Enjoy Holo-Holo around the hotel after check-in. Our hotel is within easy walking distance to Nagasaki’s foremost tourist attraction, “Glover Mansion”. The oldest western style wooden building in Japan, It is often referred to as an “Important Cultural Asset”. {OPTIONAL}: After hotel check-in, we will be those will take those interested & willing to “Glover Mansion”. The mansion grounds are located close to the hotel, but the roadway leading to it is very hilly {SO OPTIONAL}.

NOV. 8 (MON) NAGASAKI ANA HOTEL GLOVER HILL NAGASAKI
Enjoy a boat cruise viewing Gunkanjima (Battleship Island). This is a now uninhabited island that was populated from 1887 to 1974 and used for mining coal. You will see the ruins of buildings from the boat. In recent years, this island attracted a lot of attention as a ghost island. Next visit Nagasaki Peace Park, which was laid out to commemorate the exact spot of the atomic bomb explosion at 11:02AM on August 9, 1945 that almost completely demolished the greater part of the city. In the park stands the massive Peace Statue, as well as other monuments donated from around the world. Later proceed to Dejima, an isolated island constructed for the Portuguese in 1634. You can see what daily life was like during that period through the reconstructed buildings. Then go back to our hotel.

NOV. 9 (TUE) ASO ASO RESORT GRANDVRIO HOTEL (ONSEN)♨ HOTEL SKY TOWER
Proceed to Shimabara Peninsula, with its volcanic mountain Mt. Unzen. We will stop at “Obama Town” to take pictures of the President Obama Doll. Next go to the Mizunashi Honjin Museum, a memorial site where the devastation of houses buried during the 1991 eruption of Mt. Fugen is preserved. Then enjoy riding the Unzen Ropeway. You will enjoy the panoramic scenery from the observatory. If the timing is right the scenery will be filled with the Autumn Momiji Color. Later catch the ferry to Kumamoto (30 min.). After arrival head to Aso, noted as an active volcano with a huge caldera, one of the biggest in the world. Soak and Relax in the HOTSPRING BATH!

NOV. 10 (WED) KIRISHIMA KIRISHIMA ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN)♨
In the morning, enjoy driving along the popular “Mt. Aso Panorama Line”. If the timing is right, we will see beautiful Susuki (Silver Grass) fields along the road. Enjoy watching the Saru Mawashi Show (Monkey Performance), featuring familiar acrobatics and comic skits by talented and adorable monkeys. Then head to Kirishima, known for the Kirishima Mountain Chain, a volcanic range of 23 large peaks in Southern Kyushu. Visit Kirishima Shrine, declared as an “Important Cultural Property” with its large beautiful buildings surrounded by a forest. There is a 800 years old Cedar Tree in the shrine grounds. We will stay at a Nice Resort Hotel located in the highlands. Relax in the HOT SPRING BATH and ROTENBURO (Open-Air Bath)!

NOV. 11 (THU) YAKUSHIMA YAKUSHIMA IWASAKI HOTEL (ONSEN)♨
Head to Kagoshima Port to catch a Jet Foil and go to Yakushima (2 hours). This 80 miles around island is one of Japan’s most remarkable travel destinations and registered as a “UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site”, in 1993. We will go to Yakusugi Land. On this island, the “Over One Thousand Years Old Cedars “Yakusugi” are very popular. They are very huge and remind one of “ancient air” as we pass through groves of ancient Cedar Trees. Enjoy your stay at “the Best Hotel on the Island” with vast natural surroundings. Relax in the HOT SPRING BATH and ROTENBURO (Open-Air Bath)!

NOV. 12 (FRI) KAGOSHIMA KAGOSHIMA SUN ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN)♨
In the morning, visit Senbiro Waterfall. We will observe an overwhelming view of the 196 feet elevation waterfall with a huge monolith beside it. Then go to Yakushima Environmental Culture Center to see a movie showing a “Dynamic Introduction to the Nature of Yakushima”, on a big screen {With English Subtitle}. There is an exhibition of nature and a store carrying craftwork made in Yakushima. Later catch the Jet Foil back to Kagoshima. Our hotel faces Sakurajima Island, a symbol of Kagoshima formed by “the eruption of a still active volcano, Mt. Ontake. Relax in the HOT SPRING BATH while viewing Sakurajima Island.

NOV. 13 (SAT) KAGOSHIMA KAGOSHIMA SUN ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN)♨
Visit the “Io World” Kagoshima Aquarium. It has a variety of fishes on display. “Highlight is a Whale Shark 65ft long and 35 tons swimming in a huge water tank”. Visit the Iso Garden to see the beautiful Kiku (Chrysanthemum) Flower Festival. Also enjoy walking in the elaborate grounds with bamboo groves, rock gardens and a stream overlooking the volcano, Sakurajima. Later pass by the Saigo Takamori Statue (One of the Most Influential Samurai in Japanese History), and a place where “Atsu-hime” was born and raised, but only the original stone walls remain. Then visit Ishin Furusato Kan Museum, exhibiting the actual studio set for the TV Drama “Atsuhime”. You can “see Atsuhime’s living room, costume, video, etc”. Also watch a “Robot Show” showing the “History of Kagoshima” “with English translation”. Enjoy your last HOT SPRING BATH on this tour. In the morning, you can enjoy soaking in the onsen while “Viewing the Sunrise Over Sakurajima Island”! {Weather Permitting}.

NOV. 14 (SUN) HAKATA (FUKUOKA) HOTEL NIKKO FUKUOKA RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL KOKURA

Catch the Shinkansen from Kagoshima-chuo Station to Shin-Yatsushiro. Upon arrival, catch the bus to Fukuoka. Before going to the hotel visit the AEON Shopping Center for Shopping and Lunch {On Your Own}. UPON ARRIVAL AT THE HOTEL, FREE TIME TO FINISHING SHOPPING, PACKING, ETC. Your rooms are paid for, but meals (LUNCH / DINNER) will be at your own expense to let you eat your favorite foods before returning home. We will give everyone a carton box to use for packing his or her gifts. (2 Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance. The member will pay for any excess).

NOV. 15 (MON) HONOLULU {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY / LUNCH ON YOUR OWN / DINNER ON THE PLANE}
At checkout time, our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. Later proceed to Fukuoka Airport to catch a domestic flight to Osaka, Narita or Nagoya before catching a Japan Airlines flight in the evening to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, NOVEMBER 15 , 2010 (MONDAY). TOUR CONDITIONS
AIR TRANSPORTATION: Airfare is based on VALUE FARE.
Minimum stay is 3-Days and maximum stay is 3 Months. $225.00 Cancellation Fee.
INCLUDES: All transportation included in the itinerary, all hotel accommodations, meals and all sightseeing listed, all transfer of passenger and baggage, souvenir picture and tour tax. Roundtrip air transportation by Economy Jet.
DOES NOT INCLUDE: Individual expenses after termination of tour as stated in itinerary. Also, wine, liquor, mineral water, laundry and other items of personal nature, cost of obtaining passport and visa or other necessary documents.
BAGGAGE: Limited to (2) pieces and (1) hand-carry.
RESPONSIBILITY: The tour organizer or any travel agencies involved, act only as agents for the passengers in regards to travel, sightseeing, hotel and meal arrangements, and other tour services. The organizer/agency will accept no responsibility or liability in respect of either person or property for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity, however, occasioned, sustained, or suffered in or during any journey, trip, or tour, or in carrying out of any arrangements booked by or through it.
If the agency becomes aware that a passenger has a special chronic health problem, the agency shall ensure that it is provided with a letter from the passenger’s personal physician stating the nature of such health problem and certifying that the passenger is physically fit to participate in the tour. Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the tour. Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members. However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.
Baggage’s are at owner’s own risk. The right is reserved to make any necessary changes in tour if deemed advisable. Also, the airlines and other transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their carriers concerned. The airline ticket and passage contract in use by the airlines concerned when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of the tour and/or passenger. TRAVEL ETIQUETTE: No one likes to be known as the last to arrive. When traveling in a group it is very important that everyone be punctual. Please remember, also, NO SMOKING AND TO ROTATE SEATS ON BUSES.

In case of any re-valuation, the price shall be adjusted accordingly at time of payment. See Yen Chart.
