JULY 5(TUE) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES & DRINKS.

JULY 6(WED) OSAKA SENRI HANKYU HOTEL
Arrive at Kansai (Osaka) Int’l Airport and after clearing government formalities, by bus to our hotel located next to Daiei and Hankyu Department Stores. After hotel check-in, FREE TIME to go “Holo-Holo”!

JULY 7(THU) GIFU GIFU MIYAKO HOTEL
Proceed to Kyoto. Have fun riding on the Sagano Scenic Railway known as the “Toroko Train”. This is an open window train that gives you a nice breeze while viewing the flowing river during the ride. Then go to Gifu Prefecture and our hotel located in front of the Nagara River. In the evening we will “enjoy watching Ukai (cormorant fishing)” on the Nagara River from the “Yakata Boat”. Ukai is a fishing method with a “1,300 Year Old History” using cormorant for catching sweet fish. {This is “Optional” for those who wish to and it will take a 1 hour stay on the boat}. *{Cormorant fishing has a 1/50 possibility to be cancelled in case of the river overflowing (just rain does not affect it to be cancelled). There will be no refund in case of cancellation}.

JULY 8(FRI) KOMAGANE HOTEL RESORT LINX KOMAGANE (ONSEN) ♨
We will head to Seki Town which used to be a major producer of Japanese swords during the Muromachi Period. Visit the Seki Sword Museum to see a “display of the swordsmith’s method”. Then go to Aqua Toto Gifu, a fresh water aquarium displaying fishes which inhabit the Nagara River and many types of freshwater fishes from all over the world such as Salamander, Catfish, Lungfish, etc.
Our hotel is a nice mountain resort hotel. Enjoy your 1st Onsen on this tour!

JULY 9 (SAT) YATSUGATAKE YATSUGATAKE ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning, ride the Komagane Ropeway carrying you 3,117ft., high into the sky. From an altitude of 8,570 ft. you can “enjoy the superb panoramic view of the Southern and Northern Alps, and Mt Fuji (Weather Permitting). You will see the snow, still remaining up in the mountains. This will also be the season that alpine flowers start to bloom. In the afternoon, drive through Kirigamine Heights and see the Daylily blooming if timing is right. Enjoy the Public Bath and Open Air Hot Spring Bath.

JULY 10 (SUN) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Head to Yokohama and visit the Yokohama Port Museum which has an “exhibition on how Yokohama City has been developing as a port city”. The display starts from the period when Matthew C. Perry arrived at Uraga Harbor. The Sail Training Ship “Nippon Maru” is also anchored right next to the museum. If you wish, you can go inside of the real ship that was used until 1984. Visit the Japanese Overseas Migration Museum which has a lot of displays showing documents, pictures of daily life, tools etc. of Japanese Immigration to overseas areas including Hawaii.

JULY 11 (MON) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Visit Tsukiji Whole Sale Market to enjoy shopping and the lively atmosphere of the outside market (you will not see the auction). Go to the Toshiba Science Museum and see an exhibition with the latest technology in environment, energy, and History of Toshiba. After going back to the hotel it will be “Free Time” for shopping, browsing around or just rest. In the evening, for those who wish to, we will take you to the Ramen Museum in Shin Yokohama. There are 9 different ramen restaurants from different areas of Japan to let you try your favorite type of ramen. The inside of the museum recreates the atmosphere of an early Showa Period Town.

JULY 12 (TUE) KARATSU KARATSU ROYAL HOTEL
Catch a morning flight from Haneda Airport to Fukuoka, Kyushu. After arrival proceed to Karatsu in Saga Prefecture. Our hotel is a nice resort hotel facing the Genkai Sea. This hotel also has a Public Bath (Not Onsen Water). We will take “those who wish to” on the “Nanatsugama Cruise” to see oddly shaped rock formations eroded by wave activity. The boat will also go inside a cave (40 minutes ride).

JULY 13 (WED) HAKATA (FUKUOKA) HAKATA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Visit Karatsu Castle, which stands open onto Karatsu Bay. You can go up to the top of the rebuilt donjon and get a view of Genkai Bay Niji no Matsubara (Pine Tree Forest), most picturesque landscape in and Saga with 1,000,000 black pine trees lining along the coastline. Then go to Hakata City, the “Biggest City in Kyushu”. Hotel check-in is around noon and if you wish, we will take you to the Kawabata Shopping Mall with 100 stores lining it such a Kimono Store, Hardware Store, Tea Store, etc. This mall is also known for “Zenzai”. In the afternoon, there will be a big parade “Yamamise” right in front of the hotel. We will see 7 teams which participate in the “Yamakasa Festival” held on 2 days later. They show each of their floats to the public before competing how fast they can run while carrying the float during the festival.

JULY 14 (THU) KIJIMA KOGEN CENTLEISURE KIJIMA KOGEN HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Go to Yame City in Fukuoka, the “leading area for production of Gyokuro Tea” (The highest grade of all Japanese Tea). We will visit Yame Craftwork Center to try tasting “Yame Gyokuro Tea” (Premium Tea). We will also “see craftsmen making traditional craft-works which can also be purchased”. Visit the Taio Gold Mine founded during the Meiji Period and actually operated from 1898 to 1972. You can go inside the actual mine to see how the miners used to work in the Edo Period. Our hotel is a nice mountain resort hotel located right next to an Amusement Park. Enjoy the Onsen Hot Spring and Open Air Bath!

JULY 15 (FRI) KIJIMA KOGEN CENTLEISURE KIJIMA KOGEN HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Enjoy driving the Yamanami Highway along with beautiful mountain scenery known as “One of the Most Beautiful Scenic Driveways in Japan”. Visit the Kuju Lavender Park to “see Lavender blooming during this season” (depending on climate conditions). We will go to see the “Kuju Great Suspension Bridge” the “Longest and Highest Pedestrian Bridge in Japan” (567ft high & 1,279ft long), that opened in 2006. If you wish to and have the courage, you can “try walking on it”! {Please do not worry, it is not mandatory}. After going back to the hotel, you can go to Kijima Kogen Park, an amusement park located next to the hotel if you wish to. {Admission will be paid for, but attractions will be “At Your Own Expense”). You can try the Wooden Roller Coaster, Water Splash Roller Coaster, Spiral Roller Coaster, Trapeze, etc. (each one ranges somewhere around ¥300 Yens to ¥1,000 Yens). Or you can get rested at the hotel.

JULY 16 (SAT) HAKATA (FUKUOKA) HAKATA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Proceed to the AEON Shopping Center to do some shopping before going to the hotel in Hakata (Fukuoka). UPON ARRIVAL, FREE TIME TO FINISH SHOPPING, PACKING, ETC. Your rooms are paid for, but meals (LUNCH/DINNER) will be at your own expense to let you eat your favorite foods before returning home. We will give everyone a carton box for packing his or her gifts. (2 Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance. Any excess will be paid for by the member).

JULY 17(SUN) HONOLULU {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}
At checkout time our agents will come around to tape and tie up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon, proceed to Fukuoka Airport to catch a domestic flight to Kansai (Osaka) or Narita Airport and transfer to a Japan Airlines connecting flight in the evening to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, JULY 17, 2011 (SUNDAY). TOUR CONDITIONS

AIR TRANSPORTATION: Airfare is based on VALUE FARE.

Minimum stay is 3-Days and maximum stay is 3 Months. $225.00 Cancellation Fee.

INCLUDES: All transportation included in the itinerary, all hotel accommodations, meals and all sightseeing listed, all transfer of passenger and baggage, souvenir picture and tour tax. Roundtrip air transportation by Economy Jet.

DOES NOT INCLUDE: Individual expenses after termination of tour as stated in itinerary. Also, wine, liquor, mineral water, laundry and other items of personal nature, cost of obtaining passport and visa or other necessary documents.

BAGGAGE: Limited to (2) pieces and (1) hand-carry.

RESPONSIBILITY: The tour organizer or any travel agencies involved, act only as agents for the passengers in regards to travel, sightseeing, hotel and meal arrangements, and other tour services. The organizer/agency will accept no responsibility or liability in respect of either person or property for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity, however, occasioned, sustained, or suffered in or during any journey, trip, or tour, or in carrying out of any arrangements booked by or through it.

If the agency becomes aware that a passenger has a special chronic health problem, the agency shall ensure that it is provided with a letter from the passenger’s personal physician stating the nature of such health problem and certifying that the passenger is physically fit to participate in the tour. Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the tour. Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members. However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.

Baggage’s are at owner’s own risk. The right is reserved to make any necessary changes in tour if deemed advisable. Also, the airlines and other transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their carriers concerned. The airline ticket and passage contract in use by the airlines concerned when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of the tour and/or passenger. WATER: Is safe to drink throughout Japan.

TRAVEL ETIQUETTE: No one likes to be known as the last to arrive. When traveling in a group it is very important that everyone be punctual. Please remember, also, NO SMOKING AND TO ROTATE SEATS ON BUSES. Everyone likes to sit by the window and front seats.

FOOD REQUEST: If you cannot eat certain foods, please do not forget to turn in your request form, 1 week before departure or earlier, so we may try to comply with your request.

The COST OF TOUR includes ground tour and airfare. The ground tour is based on ¥95 Yens to a U.S. DOLLAR RATE. In case of any re-valuation, the price shall be adjusted accordingly at time of payment. See Yen Chart. The airfares are present rates and should the airfares be changed, adjustments will be made accordingly. The YEN RATE OF THE DAY will be used at time of payment. Thank You!
