OCT. 1(SAT) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES and DRINKS.

OCT. 2(SUN) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport, and after entry formalities, by bus to Yokohama, the 2nd biggest city in Japan. Our hotel is located within easy walking distance to the Department Stores, Electronics Store, 100 Yen Shop and an Underground Shopping Area. Upon arrival, we will take you to “Holo-Holo” in the shopping area.

OCT. 3(MON) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Head to Yokosuka, home to one of the biggest military seaports shared by the United States Navy and the Maritime Self- Defense Force of Japan. Visit Mikasa Park, which is home to the historic warship “Mikasa” that once led Japan’s fleet to defeat attackers during the Russo-Japanese War. Today, Battleship Mikasa is a maritime museum and “One of only Three Memorial Warships in the World”. Later visit Kurihama Hana no Kuni Flower Park. We will see Cosmos blooming in the garden during this season. Then back to the hotel.

OCT. 4(TUE) TOKACHI TOKACHI MAKUBETSU ONSEN GRANDVRIO HOTEL (ONSEN)♨
Head to Haneda Airport and catch a domestic flight to Obihiro, Hokkaido, an upland dairy and livestock farming area in Japan. Its’ beautiful rural scenery is similar to that of Europe. Visit Boya Farm to see a “Sheep Dog Show”. Enjoy the impressive working sheep dog demonstration. Later proceed to our hotel in Tokachi-Makubetsu Spa, “One of Only Two Hot Spring Resorts in the World that use “Moor” Hot Spring Water. It is good for beauty, and also neuralgia, muscle pains and dermatitis. Good chance to Soak and Relax in your first HOT SPRING BATH and ROTENBURO (Open-Air Bath). {A “Private Onsen Bath” is available “At Your Own Expense”}.

OCT. 5(WED) LAKE AKAN AKAN YUKU NO SATO TSURUGA (ONSEN)♨
Tokachi is a major agricultural area in Japan, and beans are the most important crop in the Tokachi District. We will visit the Okame-do Beans Shop which carries the locally grown beans. Ama-natto (beans covered with refined sugar), flavored dried beans, etc. are sold here. Enjoy shopping for the “famous Tokachi Beans”! Later proceed to Lake Akan with its magnificent natural beauty and awe inspiring landscape. We will “enjoy a boat cruise while viewing the beautiful scenery of Autumn Color”. {The timing is expected to be “Just Right”}. In the evening, go to see the “Iomante Fire Festival”. Iomante originally was the Ainu’s (Aborigines of Hokkaido) Ceremony when they make a “Sacrifice to the God”. We will watch a show of this ceremony with their traditional ritual and dance. Our hotel is a modern Japanese Ryokan Style Hotel (with bed) by the lakeside. Good chance to Soak and Relax in the HOT SPRING BATH and ROTENBURO (Open-Air Bath) with beautiful lake view. Enjoy the famous “Big Buffet Dinner” featuring local seafood, etc.

OCT. 6(THU) SHIRETOKO HOTEL SHIRETOKO (ONSEN)♨
Visit the Shibetsu Salmon Science Museum containing more than 20 kinds of salmon from around the world. This is the season when the salmon come back from the ocean to lay their eggs in the rivers. We will be able to see some salmon swimming in the rivers. At lunch time you will be able to “Get a Taste of Hokkaido” with a choice of such dishes as: Ikura (Salmon Roe) Domburi, Salmon & Ikura Domburi, Seafood Ramen. Etc. (those who do not eat seafood you can choose another type of dish). Later drive via beautiful Shiretoko Pass to Shiretoko, designated as a “World Heritage Site in 2005”. The timing is expected to be just right for viewing the mountains tinged with the “Colors of Autumn”. Our hotel is located at the Utoro Onsen Area. Good chance to try the Relaxing HOT SPRING BATH and ROTENBURO (Open-Air Bath)!

OCT 7.(FRI) LAKE SAROMA LAKE SAROMA TSURUGA RESORT (ONSEN)♨
In the morning visit scenic Oshin-Koshin Waterfall chosen as “One of Japan’s Best 100 Waterfalls”. The water from the falls drops magnificently towards the Okhotsk Sea. Proceed to Abashiri Prison Museum, to learn about the socio-political history of Japan. This prison was constructed in the 1890’s to hold one thousand notorious criminals. Buildings and structures of the old prison and how the daily life of the prisoners was like can be seen through relics and wax dolls of the prisoners, etc. If the timing is right we will drive by the Sunflower Garden at Ozora Town. Our accommodation is a nice resort hotel facing Lake Saroma. Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner featuring local sea foods etc. Enjoy another Warm and Relaxing HOT SPRING BATH and ROTENBURO (Open-Air Bath)!

OCT. 8(SAT) SOUNKYO CHOYO RESORT HOTEL (ONSEN)♨
Go to see the Cha-Cha World Doll Museum with its collection of 10,000 wooden toys, including puppets, mechanical toys and nutcracker dolls from forty different countries. Then to Oketo Town to try your hand at “Making Soba Noodles” {for those who wish to} and enjoy a “freshly made soba lunch”. Next proceed to the “Fresh Water Aquarium” with Huchen (Ito) and other fishes. Later, head to Sounkyo Gorge a giant gorge consisting of 300 feet high cliffs, which stretches over 15 miles. We will view the unusual rock formations and the timing is expected to be right for the gorge to be filled with “Autumn Colors”. Visit the Obako Rock Formation. Giant Stone Columns stretch out just like a Huge Folding Screen. This place is said to have the most spectacular canyon views in Japan and a popular place for taking photos during Autumn. Our hotel is surrounded by the beautiful nature of Sounkyo Gorge. Enjoy the Relaxing HOT SPRING BATH and ROTENBURO (Open Air Bath)! *(Private Onsen is available “At Your Own Expense”).

OCT. 9(SUN) SHIN SAPPORO SHERATON HOTEL SAPPORO
Enjoy driving through Biei, known for its large hills often called “Patchwork Hill”. Autumn in Biei heals visitors with its gentle tones. You can look out and enjoy the fragrant balm of Autumn in the countryside. Vast pastoral scenery with Mt. Tokachi with its peak starting to be covered with snow as a background is precious. After lunch, we will enjoy another magnificent Autumn scenery in Furano. Then head to Shin Sapporo. Our hotel is located next to Shin Sapporo Station and a Shopping Center with Daiei Supermarket. Enjoy Holo-Holo after hotel check-in before dinner.

OCT. 10(MON) KITAYUZAWA YUMOTO MEISUITEI (ONSEN)♨
Head to Noboribetsu and stop at Jigoku Dani (Valley of Hell). Steam, gushing out from a number of holes, “looks like hell”. This area is expected to be filled with “Autumn Color” during this period. We will also drive through Orofure Pass to enjoy the Autumn scenery. Our accommodation is located at the center of the National Park and is blessed with nature’s bounty and clear riverside streams. This hotel has the “Largest Open-Air Bath in Hokkaido”. Enjoy your last HOT SPRING BATH and “Spacious” ROTENBURO (Open-Air Bath) for this tour.

OCT. 11(TUE) SAPPORO SAPPORO CENTURY ROYAL HOTEL
In the morning, enjoy “Apple Picking”, which are in season. Drive along Jozankei Ravine and stop at Hoheikyo Dam filled with Autumn color, since the timing is expected to be right. Jozankei is famous for beautiful Autumn color. In season, the whole ravine becomes a canvas of colorful leaves. Then proceed to the biggest city in Hokkaido, Sapporo. Our hotel is located close to the Underground Shopping Mall and Department Stores. After hotel check-in we will take those who wish to on a walk to the JR Tower located next to the hotel that is the “highest architecture in Sapporo”. Catch the elevator and “go up to the top floor observatory (525ft), to get a 360º degree panoramic night view of the “Whole City of Sapporo”.

OCT. 12(WED) SAPPORO SAPPORO CENTURY ROYAL HOTEL
Visit the Sapporo Beer Museum which shows the “History of the Introduction of Beer to Japan” and the process of making beer. Later visit the Ario Shopping Mall with 119 shops and Ito Yokado Supermarket for Shopping and Lunch {On Your Own}. After returning back to the hotel, FREE TIME TO FINISH SHOPPING, PACKING ETC. Your room is paid for but meals (LUNCH/DINNER) will be at your own expense to let you eat your favorite foods before returning home. We will give everyone a carton box to use for packing their gifts. (2 Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance. Any excess will be paid for by the member).

OCT. 13(THU) HONOLULU (ONLY BREAKFAST Is Included This Day / LUNCH On Your Own / DINNER On The Plane)
At check-out time, our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon, proceed to Chitose Int’l Airport to catch Japan Airlines flight in the evening to Honolulu via Narita Int’l Airport, arriving the same morning, OCTOBER 13, 2011 (THURSDAY). TOUR CONDITIONS

AIR TRANSPORTATION: Airfare is based on VALUE FARE.
Minimum stay is 3-Days and maximum stay is 3 Months. $225.00 Cancellation Fee.

INCLUDES: All transportation included in the itinerary, all hotel accommodations, meals and all sightseeing listed, all transfer of passenger and baggage, souvenir picture and tour tax. Roundtrip air transportation by Economy Jet.

DOES NOT INCLUDE: Individual expenses after termination of tour as stated in itinerary. Also, wine, liquor, mineral water, laundry and other items of personal nature, cost of obtaining passport and visa or other necessary documents.

BAGGAGE: Limited to (2) pieces and (1) hand-carry.

RESPONSIBILITY: The tour organizer or any travel agencies involved, act only as agents for the passengers in regards to travel, sightseeing, hotel and meal arrangements, and other tour services. The organizer/agency will accept no responsibility or liability in respect of either person or property for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity, however, occasioned, sustained, or suffered in or during any journey, trip, or tour, or in carrying out of any arrangements booked by or through it.

If the agency becomes aware that a passenger has a special chronic health problem, the agency shall ensure that it is provided with a letter from the passenger’s personal physician stating the nature of such health problem and certifying that the passenger is physically fit to participate in the tour. Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the tour. Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members. However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.

Baggage’s are at owner’s own risk. The right is reserved to make any necessary changes in tour if deemed advisable. Also, the airlines and other transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their carriers concerned. The airline ticket and passage contract in use by the airlines concerned when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of the tour and/or passenger. WATER: Is safe to drink throughout Japan.

TRAVEL ETIQUETTE: No one likes to be known as the last to arrive. When traveling in a group it is very important that everyone be punctual. Please remember, also, NO SMOKING AND TO ROTATE SEATS ON BUSES. Everyone likes to sit by the window and front seats.

FOOD REQUEST: If you cannot eat certain foods, please do not forget to turn in your request form, 1 week before departure or earlier, so we may try to comply with your request.

The COST OF TOUR includes ground tour and airfare. The ground tour is based on ¥95 Yens to a U.S. DOLLAR RATE. In case of any re-valuation, the price shall be adjusted accordingly at time of payment. See Yen Chart. The airfares are present rates and should the airfares be changed, adjustments will be made accordingly. The YEN RATE OF THE DAY will be used at time of payment. Thank You!

SHOULD YOU ARRIVE AFTER THE TOUR GROUP’S ARRIVAL TIME, YOU MUST FIND YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO THE HOTEL. SAME GOES FOR DEPARTURES FROM JAPAN. IF YOUR FLIGHT LEAVES EARLIER THAN THE TOUR GROUP, YOU MUST FIND YOUR OWN WAY TO THE AIRPORT. THE TOUR AIRFARE PORTION WILL BE SUBTRACTED FROM THE TOUR PACKAGE COST. THANK YOU!
