JAN. 15 (TUE) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE DRINKS and MOVIES.

JAN. 16 (WED) NARITA NARITA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport and after government entry formalities, by bus to our hotel near the airport. After hotel check-in your tour guide will take you to the AEON Shopping Center by bus {If You Wish To}.

JAN. 17 (THU) KAMOGAWA KAMOGAWA HOTEL MIKAZUKI (ONSEN) ♨
Visit the National Museum of Japanese History, a well designed museum that traces the comprehensive history and cultural development of the Japanese people. The displays are thoroughly visual, including an impressive collection of very important national assets discovered nationwide, interactive projects and realistic models of villages and landscapes, etc. that cover the period from Prehistoric Times to Modern Japan. We will enjoy a “Shogatsu Lunch” with a wish for “Good Health in the New Year”. It can only be served during the “New Year Season”. Then go to Naritasan Shinshoji Temple for “Hatsumode” {The First Visit to a Shrine or Temple to pray for “Good Fortune in the New Year”}. This large and highly popular temple attracts close to 3,000,000 people for a New Year’s visit. It is the 2nd largest number of visitors of all the temples in Japan. We will visit here after the crowded period. You can pray for family and traffic safety like the Japanese visitors do. Also enjoy strolling around Omotesando, a lively street lined with numerous stores selling traditional crafts, foods and souvenirs to pilgrims for centuries. We will later head to the Boso Peninsula and our hotel in Kamogawa Onsen. Enjoy your first “Onsen Hot Spring” and “Open Air Bath” (Roten Buro) of this tour. This hotel has a “Big Hot Spring Bath” with a beautiful ocean view from the top floor of the hotel. You can also try the famous “Special Pure Gold Bathtub”, etc. Dinner will be a buffet featuring “Fresh Seafood, Sushi, Tempura, etc.”.

JAN. 18 (FRI) TOMIURA TOMIURA ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Proceed to the famous Kamogawa Sea World, a must see destination in the Boso Peninsula. We will see several shows of sea animals such as Dolphin, Beluga Whale, Sea lion, etc. The main attraction here is the “Killer Whale Show”! Enjoy their dynamic jump with a big splash performed by the “King of the Ocean”. Also enjoy the company of over 800 marine animals at this park. Later enjoy driving along the o[popular Boso Flower Road, a beautiful coastline road in the southwest of Boso Peninsula to Tateyama Family Park. This will be the season when Poppy Flower is blooming. 100,000 Poppies create what looks like a huge Yellow and Orange Carpet. This night’s accommodation is a popular Resort Hotel located in a cape with a Big Public Bath and Open Air Roten Buro (Sorry not a Onsen Hot Spring). You can enjoy a peaceful walk around the hotel here. We will eat an essential Japanese New Years dish “Ozoni” (Japanese Mochi Soup) in the evening. It is a Japanese Tradition in New Years. Enjoy shopping for local products. Upon arrival at the hotel, we will take you to the Shopping Center near the hotel.

JAN. 19 (SAT) SUIDOBASHI TOKYO DOME HOTEL
Visit the Okuzure Narcissus Village to see the Narcissus which should be blooming during this time of season. This town is one of 3 major Narcissus spots in Japan. See the beautiful contrasting view of the Japanese Narcissus, green leaves and golden fruits of the surrounding Mikan trees standing out against the winter sky. Then enjoy driving on the Tokyo Bay Aqua Line to cross Tokyo Bay. It is a 9.3 mile unique “Bridge & Tunnel Expressway” across Tokyo Bay. It’s parking area “Umi-hotaru” is a popular tourist attraction jutting out from the waters of Tokyo Bay. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Tokyo Bay as well as shopping. Then head to our hotel located right next to the Tokyo Dome Baseball Stadium, home stadium of the Yomiuri Giants, the oldest and most popular baseball team in Japan. After hotel check in, your guide will take you to Tokyo Dome City Shopping Mall, where a Winter Festival is held during this time of season. The festival site will be “illuminated with 500,000 lights”. After dinner you will get a chance to go strolling around the hotel.

JAN 20 (SUN) SUIDOBASHI TOKYO DOME HOTEL
Visit Koishikawa Korakuen Garden “one of Tokyo’s oldest and best Japanese Gardens” which was reconstructed by “Mito Mitsukuni” main character in the TV Drama “Mitokomon”. This garden was appointed as a “Special Place of Scenic Beauty” and “Special Historic Site”. It is full of Chinese flavor due to Mitsukuni’s influence. Later proceed to Meiji Jingu Shrine which holds the record for the largest number of New Years visitors (3.3 million). Let us pray for “Safety, Good Health and Good Fortune for the New Year” at the most popular “Hatsumode” place in Japan. “Don’t Worry” since it will be after the crowed period. Enjoy a relaxing stroll in the spacious sacred shrine grounds offering walking paths with large cedar lined streets.

JAN. 21 (MON) KINUGAWA ASAYA HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Go to Ashikaga Flower Park where seasonal flowers bloom all year round. Camellia will bloom around this season (If Timing is Right). We will have an “Osechi-ryori Lunch”, a set of New Year’s dishes with a “Wish for Good Luck for the Year”. Enjoy “Strawberry Picking”. Try tasting the regional specialty in season “Tochiotome Strawberry”, “All You Can Eat”! Then proceed to Nikko and visit the World Cultural Heritage Site, “Toshogu Shrine” in winter scenery. This is the “main attraction of Nikko” and the “most photographed place in Japan”. Yomei-mon Gate one of Japan’s most magnificent national treasures with countless wood carvings and large amounts of gold leaf which were used to decorate the buildings in a way not seen elsewhere in Japan. It is especially breathtaking in winter because sunlight reflected by the snow shows all of the stunning woodwork’s exquisite detail. Then proceed to Kinugawa one of Japan’s Largest Onsen Resort Areas located along the beautiful Kinugawa River. We will stay at a beautiful Onse Resort Hotel with various Onsen Hot Spring Baths and Open Air Bath (Roten-Buro). Enjoy soaking in the famous Kinugawa Hot Spring Bath while viewing the natural beauty of its surroundings.

JAN. 22(TUE) KINUGAWA ASAYA HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning visit Trick Art Pia Museum, an interactive museum of trick art that beckons you into a world of optical illusions with a variety of exhibits of “Trick Arts”. See a waterless aquarium, a cage-less zoo, trick art versions of famous works of art such as Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo, etc. You can not only look at, but also touch and take pictures as part of the art works. Then go to a famed attraction of the Nikko Area. Nikko Monkey Theater, a theme park featuring native Japanese Monkeys performing and a hilarious comedy show. This show is very entertaining and offers a unique insight into the Japanese sense of humor. Next we will enjoy a “Sweets Buffet” tasting Japanese Sweets, Manju, Cake, Ice-cream, etc. {As Much As You can Eat}! Later go back to the hotel and enjoy Soaking and Relaxing in the Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath (Roten-Buro). In the evening, we will eat “Oshiruko” (a Traditional Japanese Dessert consisting of Azuki Beans and Mochi). It is also “A Special Soup for New Year Celebration”.

JAN. 23(WED) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Head to Yokohama and stop along the way at a Big Shopping Complex AEON Shopping Center for Shopping. Then go to Yokohama’s Most Popular District the “Minato Mirai Area”, a town of the future full of modern high-rise buildings. Visit the tallest building in Japan Yokohama Landmark Tower. Catch its elevator with a speed of 38 mph up to the 69th floor observation area (892 ft. high). You can enjoy a panoramic 360º degree view overlooking Yokohama Port, Yokohama Bay Bridge, etc. On a clear day you can see Mt. Fuji from here. Later go to our hotel located within easy walking distance to Department Stores, Big Electronics Store, ¥100 Yen Shop and Underground Shopping Mall. After hotel check in your guide will take you to Holo-Holo around the hotel.

JAN. 24(THU) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Enjoy shopping at Yokohama Central Wholesale Market to buy Tsukemono, Umeboshi, etc. Then go to visit Kawasaki Daishi Temple with its Shopping Alley. This temple was established 880 years ago and has been famed for “Preventing Misfortunes”. It is known as the “Third Most Popular Temple in Japan” for Traditional New Year’s visits. Proceed back to the hotel and after arrival “FREE TIME” to Finish Shopping, Packing, Etc. Your rooms are paid for, but meals {LUNCH & DINNER} will be at your own expense to let you eat your favorite foods before returning home. We will give everyone a carton box for packing their gifts. {2-Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance. Any excess will be paid for by the member}.
