FEB. 4 (MON) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES and DRINKS.

FEB. 5 (TUE) NARITA/CHITOSE ANA CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL CHITOSE
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport and after government formalities, transfer to your connecting flight to Chitose Int’l Airport in Hokkaido. Upon arrival, go directly to our hotel in Chitose City located right in front of the AEON Super Market. {About 10 min. from the airport}.

FEB. 6 (WED) SAPPORO TOKYO DOME HOTEL SAPPORO
In the morning, go to the shoe store to buy your snowshoes before heading to Lake Shikotsu to see its popular “Hyoto Matsuri” Festival with Ice Sculptures made of water from the lake. You will be impressed by ice statues creating a fantastic winter wonder-world. Then go to Lake Utonai to see a flock of Swan from Siberia, which spend the winter here. Later go to Sapporo, Hokkaido’s largest city. Our hotel is located in front of Odori Park, Main Site of the “64th Sapporo Snow Festival”. It is an internationally known event with gigantic snow statues and hundreds of medium-sized and small statues of snow and ice. After dinner, you can enjoy a night view of the amazing & beautiful illuminated art structures made of snow and ice. {OPTIONAL For Those Who Wish to}.

FEB. 7 (THU) LAKE TOYA LAKE TOYA MANSEIKAKU HOTEL(ONSEN) ♨
Visit the Chitose Tsuru Sake Museum to see the process of brewing local Sake in Sapporo and “taste the many types of Sake”. Next enjoy shopping at the Sapporo Wholesale Market with its lively atmosphere. Also visit the AEON Shopping Center to enjoy Shopping and Lunch. Later head to Lake Toya known for its beauty of nature and good hot spring. Our hotel faces the lake where Winter Festival take place. In the evening enjoy the lakeside fireworks from your room. Soak in the soothing Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath (Roten Buro) with a nice winter view of the lake. Visit the ChitoseTsuru Sake Museum TO SEE THE PROCESS OF BREWING LOCAL

FEB. 8 (FRI) YUNOKAWA ONSEN YUMOTO TAKUBOKUTEI HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Go to Onuma where you will get a chance to experience exciting Snowmobile Riding or Sledding on the frozen lake. Then head to Goryokaku Park, Japan’s first western-style fort and now functioning as a park with its 5 pointed star-shape. We will view it from the Observatory Tower (351 ft height). Enjoy a marvelous view of the huge star rimmed park and the whole city of Hakodate covered with snow. Proceed to Hakodate on the southern tip of Hokkaido and one of Hokkaido’s most popular tourist spots. Our hotel is in Yunokawa Hot Spring. This hotel has an Observatory Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath (Roten Buro) on the top floor with a view overlooking Hakodate City and the Tsugaru Straits. After dinner, {for those who wish to}, we will take you up to the top of Mt. Hakodate by cable car to see the night view of Hakodate. Hakodate’s night view is considered to be one of the 3 best night views in the world along with one in Naples and one in Hong Kong.

FEB. 9(SAT) HAKKODA HAKKODA HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning browse around the famous Hakodate Morning Market. Enjoy shopping for dried seafood with the vibrant and active atmosphere here. Then walk to Hakodate Station to catch the train to cross to Honshu (main island of Japan) via the Seikan Undersea Tunnel, 33.5 miles long. It is the “world’s longest undersea tunnel”. Upon arrival at Aomori, visit the Warasse Nebuta Festival Museum, dedicated to all aspects of the most energetic event in Aomori, the “Nebuta Festival”. You will see the huge and colorful floats actually used for the festival. Feel the lively and exciting atmosphere of “one of Japan’s best known and biggest summer events” that attracts 3,000,000 visitors annually. This night’s accommodation is a traditional mountain resort hotel surrounded by virgin forest in Mt. Hakkoda. Enjoy a wonderful resort experience with natural surroundings in snow. Soak and Relax in the Hot Spring Bath!

FEB. 10(SUN) HIROSAKI BEST WESTERN HOTEL NEW CITY HIROSAKI
In the morning ride the ropeway (10 minutes, 8,000ft. long) to the summit station (4,344 ft. height). From the ropeway you will look down the “Juhyo” (Snow Monster), numerous trees covered by snow resembling a “Monster”. These otherworldly shapes looming on the vast landscape are amazing. Enjoy driving along the Oirase Stream, a picturesque mountain stream. You will be overwhelmed by the numerous snow covered trees and frozen waterfalls. Then enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Towada. In the winter season the lake feels very mysterious and silent with trees, rocks and mountains covered by snow. Also see Swans which annually come from Siberia during the winter season. Later go to Hirosaki and our hotel located close to the station and walking distance to the supermarket. After dinner {for those who wish to} go by bus to Hirosaki Castle to see the “Snow and Lantern Festival”. You will see “Japanese Garden Style Lanterns” made out of snow and “Snow Structures” lining throughout the Castle Park with beautiful night illumination. Each lantern is illuminated by candles with Neputa Festival style paintings creating a “Fantastic World of Winter in Japan”.

FEB. 11(MON) HIROSAKI BEST WESTERN HOTEL NEW CITY HIROSAKI
Head by bus to Kanagi Town to enjoy some “Japanese Winter Experiences”. First put on traditional Japanese style snow shoes “Kanjiki” and try walking on the snow {those who wish to}. Then go to the Tsugaru Shamisen Theater to enjoy a “Shamisen Performance”. Tsugaru Shamisen is distinguished for its strong and sharp sound that represents the bitterly cold winter in this area. It is characterized by players who can directly express their emotions by striking the strings heavily with a plectrum. Later ride the
“Stove Train” operated only during the winter season. This nostalgic train retains the style of the olden days with coal-fueled Daruma Stoves. In the train, you can “try grilling Cuttlefish while drinking Sake” {At Your Own Expense} while viewing the snow covered Tsugaru Plains

FEB. 12(TUE) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Proceed to Aomori Airport to catch a Domestic Flight to Haneda Airport in Tokyo. Upon arrival, go directly to your hotel in Yokohama City, the 2nd largest city in Japan. Your hotel is located close to Yokohama Station and within easy walking distance to the Underground Shopping Area, Takashimaya Department Store, ¥100 Yen Store and the big Yodobashi Camera Electronics Store. After check-in, we will take you around the hotel for Holo-Holo and shopping.

FEB. 13(WED) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Go to Yokohama Chuo Wholesale Market to purchase Tsukemono (Pickles), Umeboshi, etc. Later visit Yokohama Landmark Tower, the tallest building in Japan. Catch its elevator with 38mph speed, up to the 69th floor (892 ft.) observation area. Enjoy a panoramic 360º degree view overlooking Yokohama Port, Yokohama Bay Bridge, etc. It is almost like being in the clouds! Depending on the
weather, you might see Mt. Fuji from here. After going back to the hotel, FREE TIME TO FINISH SHOPPING, PACKING OR JUST REST. We will give everyone a carton box to use for packing his or her gifts. FEB. 14(THU) HONOLULU
At checkout time our agents will come to tape & tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon, proceed to Narita Int’l Airport to catch Japan Airlines flight in the evening to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, FEBRUARY 14, 2013 (THURSDAY). After clearing U.S. Custom, proceed home. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR JOINING OUR HOKKAIKO & TOHOKU WINTER WONDERLAND TOUR #2A! RESPONSIBILITY: The tour organizer or any travel agencies involved, act only as agents for the passengers in regards to travel, sightseeing, hotel and meal arrangements, and other tour services. The organizer/agency will accept no responsibility or liability in respect of either person or property for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity, however, occasioned, sustained, or suffered in or during any journey, trip, or tour, or in carrying out of any arrangements booked by or through it.
If the agency becomes aware that a passenger has a special chronic health problem, the agency shall ensure that it is provided with a letter from the passenger’s personal physician stating the nature of such health problem and certifying that the passenger is physically fit to participate in the tour. Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the tour. Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members. However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.
Baggage’s are at owner’s own risk. The right is reversed to make any necessary changes in tour if deemed advisable. Also, the airlines and other transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their carriers concerned.
