MAY 9(THU) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via a Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES and DRINKS.

MAY 10 (FRI) IKEBUKURO, TOKYO HOTEL METROPOLITAN
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport, and after clearing government formalities, catch the limousine bus to the hotel in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, one of Tokyo’s multiple city centers and a major commercial & entertainment district in west Tokyo. Our hotel is located within easy walking distance to Ikebukuro Station and Tobu Department Store. Upon arrival at the hotel it will be “FREE TIME” to meet your relatives, friends, go shopping, or just rest. Your guide will take you to the shopping area near the hotel.

MAY 11 (SAT)INAWASHIRO HOTEL LISTEL INAWASHIRO (ONSEN) ♨
Go to Ashikaga Flower Park to see Wisteria blooming during this season (If the timing is right). This park is praised as “the best place to view Wisteria in Japan”. Beautiful Purple, White and Yellow Wisterias are blooming continuously from April to May. Then go to Sano City famous for its Sano Ramen consisting of deep flavored simple shoyu soup and bouncing noodles. We will eat Sano Ramen for lunch. Then proceed to beautiful Lake Inawashiro, called heaven’s mirror lake that renowned as having the highest degree of clearness.
Hotel offers magnificient views of the lake from room. Soak and relax in natural “Hot Spring Bath and Roten Buro (Open Air Bath)”

MAY 12 (SUN) SENDAI HOTEL METROPOLITAN SENDAI
2013 NHK’s Taiga drama will be “Yae no Sakura” a story about Yae Niijima, female warrior who was born and raised in Aizu. We will visit Aizu Buke Yashiki Samurai Mansion to see the Aizu area’s rich cultural heritages of the high class Samurai during the Edo periods.(17th to 19th century) You can see large Samurai residence (has 38 rooms), remaining Old government office, traditional tea house, museum with exhibits about “Yae no Sakura”, and gift shop carrying traditional hand craft works, etc. Visit Iimoriyama Hill, the site of young Aizu soldier’s suicide in 1868, known as a tragedy of the Byakkotai. You can visit 19 Byakkotai graves located at the top of the hill, if you wish to. (going up =take slope conveyer. Coming down=take 180 steps) At foot of the hill there are many souvenir stores and Byakkotai museum.
Then proceed to Sendai, largest city in Tohoku region and known as a modern city in harmony with nature. Our hotel is located next to Sendai station. After hotel check in, you can enjoy shopping of local souvenirs etc.

MAY 13(MON) HIROSAKI BEST WESTERN HOTEL NEW CITY HIROSAKI
Walk to Sendai station to catch a Shinkansen (bullet train) to Morioka. Upon arrival, transfer by bus to Hachimantai National Park. We will enjoy driving on the Aspite Line. It is one of Japan’s best roads for scenic drive with beautiful mountain views. If timing is right, we will enjoy driving through Great Wall of Snow ‘Snow corridor”. Impressively high walls of snow on either side of the road form a long corridor of snow. Enjoy amazing experience of snow only available in this period! Then proceed to Hirosaki. Hotel is located near station and supermarket. After hotel check in, your guide will take you to Holo Holo around the hotel.

MAY 14(TUE) HAKODATE YUMOTO TAKUBOKU TEI (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning, visit the Neputa Museum, displaying extravagant and colorful illuminated floats used for famous “Neputa Summer Festival”. Also we will enjoy Tsugaru Shamisen show (musical instrument in the area) with energetic and historical music in Tsugaru region. Then go to Aomori station to catch Express train to cross to Hakodate, southern Hokkaido via the Seikan Undersea tunnel (33.5 miles long and second world longest undersea tunnel). Upon arrival in Hakodate station, transfer by bus to visit Goryokaku park, Japan’s first western-style fort and now functioning as a park with 5 pointed star-shape. From the New Observatory Tower (351 ft) you can enjoy a marvelous view of a huge star rimmed park and Hakodate city. Our hotel has observatory hot spring bath and open air bath on the top floor where you can look over Hakodate city and Tsugaru Straits. There is a huge Japanese garden where you can enjoy strolling. In the evening, enjoy buffet dinner using fresh local foods, such as sushi and tempura etc.

MAY 15(WED) TOMAKOMAI GRAND HOTEL NEW OJI
In the morning, stop at the Morimachi Parking Area to see Cherry Blossoms (Sakura) blooming (if timing is right). Then proceed to Lake Toya, “one of Hokkaido’s three most impressive landscapes” and known as the venue of the G8 Summit in 2008. We will visit the still active Showa Shinzan Volcano, created between 1944 and 1945 and designated as a “Special National Monument” it still vents sulfurous fumes today. Next go to the “Bear Farm” where you can “try feeding the Japanese Brown Bears (approx. 100 bears). Later head to our hotel located in Tomakomai City. After hotel check in your guide will take you to “Holo-Holo” around the hotel.

MAY 16(THU) MAKUBETSU ONSEN TOKACHI MAKUBETSU GRANDVRIO HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Head to Chitose City and visit the Salmon Aquarium. See the huge water tank with Salmon, Japanese Huchen, Sturgeon and other river fishes. Also see a movie in English showing the “Life of Salmon”. If timing is right, we will visit Shichiku Garden where tulip festival will be held during this season. This garden has been created for over 20 years by one family, which has become a very popular place where colorful tulips bloom. Later proceed to our hotel in Tokachi Makubetsu Onsen, “one of two hot spring resorts in the world that use moor hot spring water”. It is good for beauty, neuralgia, muscle pains and dermatitis. Soak and Relax in the Hot Spring Bath and Roten Buro (Open Air Bath). Private Onsen is available at your own expense.

MAY 17(FRI) LAKE KUSSHARO KUSSHARO PRINCE HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Proceed to Lake Akan to see the “Ainu Show” with Ainu Dance, Singing, etc. Ainu are the aborigines of the Northern Part of Japan. These dance rites have been designated as an “Important National Intangible Cultural Property”. Then visit “Mystic Beauty” Lake Mashu, which has been called “the clearest lake in the world” and “one of the deepest in Japan”. On a clear day, you can enjoy its picture-postcard perfect natural scenery. Next visit the Taiho Sumo Museum. Taiho was the 48th Yokozuna in 1961 and kept the rank of Yokozuna for 10 years with 32 Grand Championships. Taiho’s Emperor’s Cup, diplomam sash, sword, etc. are exhibited here. Later go to our hotel, “one of the top resort hotels in Eastern Hokkaido. Enjoy your last Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath on this tour.

MAY 18(SAT) ASAHIKAWA LOISIR HOTEL ASAHIKAWA
Go to Higashimokoto to enjoy its very impressive view of the hill covered by the pretty pink carpet of flowers, “Shibazakura” (If the timing is right). Enjoy strolling around the park with a magnificent panorama of Moss Phlox which resemble Sakura (Cherry Blossom) Flowers and create wonderful landscapes. Then go to Sounkyo Gorge in Daisetsuzan National Park with its unusual rock formations and beautiful greenery. Steep cliffs reaching 530 feet in height are especially impressive. See “one of the top 100 waterfalls in Japan, beautiful Ryusei (shooting star) and Ginga (galaxy) Waterfalls. Later proceed to Asahikawa, the 2nd Biggest City in Hokkaido. Hotel is located easy walking distance to Tokiawa park known as green Oasis in Asahikawa. You can enjoy walking around the park in the morning.

MAY 19 (SUN)SAPPORO SAPPORO CENTURY ROYAL HOTEL
Stop at Sunagawa Highway Oasis to shop for local specialties and a good chance to buy the delicious “Pumpkin Seed Cookies”! Then head to the “Biggest City in Hokkaido” Sapporo. Upon arrival at Sapporo visit AEON shopping center for lunch and shopping. Our hotel is located next to Sapporo Station and Underground Shopping Mall. After hotel check in “FREE TIME” to finish shopping packing etc. Your rooms are paid for, but meals, (LUNCH/DINNER) will be at your own expense to let you eat your favorite foods before returning home. We will give everyone a carton box to use for packing his or her gifts. (2 Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance. Any excess will be paid for by the member).

MAY 20(MON) HONOLULU {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}
At check out time, our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon, proceed by bus to Chitose Airport, to catch a Japan Airlines domestic flight to Narita, Kansai or Nagoya Int’l Airport and transfer to an international flight in the evening to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, MAY 20, 2013 (MON).
