MARCH 03(MON) HONOLULU 
Leave Honolulu International Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a snack will be served aboard the flight.

MARCH 04 (TUE) HAKATA HAKATA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU 
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport or Kansai ?and after clearance of government formalities transfer to a connecting flight to Fukuoka Airport in Kyushu. Upon arrival by bus to the hotel in Hakata, biggest city in Kyushu. Hotel is located near downtown Nakasu area, where it is good for shopping and eating etc.,

MARCH 05(WED) HAKATA HAKATA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Visit Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, it will be filled with Ume Blossom around this time of season.(depending on climate) This shrine is the first and most important of several hundreds of shrines dedicated to Sugawara Michizane as God of Scholarship. The path to the Shrine is lined with shops carrying local specialties where you can enjoy shopping. Later catch vessel to Nokonoshima Island (10 minutes ride) a fascinating island where you can enjoy walking in the peaceful park with small alley lined with houses which has a style designed to be early Showa period. Rapeseed Flower or Narcissus should be blooming in this season. Flowers contrasting with the blue of Hakata bay are just magnificent. After go back to the hotel, we will take you to Kawabata Shopping Mall near the hotel,with various kinds of stores carrying Japanese Tea, Kimono wear, Cutlery etc., The hotel is facing Naka river with lots of stalls lining where local people enjoy drinking and eating. Feel the energy of local people in Hakata.

MARCH 06 (THU) NAGASAKI HOTEL OKURA JR HUIS TEN BOSCH (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning, enjoy Strawberry picking in season. Taste fresh and sweet Japanese strawberry! Later proceed to Ogi and visit Yokan (a thick jellied dessert made of red bean paste) Shop. Yokan is one of the traditional sweets representing Japan. Especially Ogi Yokan is historically old and very highly regarded as a popular brand. You can sample famous Ogi Yokan and purchase it. Then go to Ushinoo Bairin (Ume forest) has been known as the best Ume flower viewing place with 13,000 Ume trees lining over since end of Edo period. Annually Ume Blossoms bloom around this time of the season. Then go to hotel located in front of Huis Ten Bosch, a unique theme park recreates medieval 17th century. After dinner go to see The Kingdom of Lights Festival . 10 million lights of illumination called world’s greatest light festival. It is so brilliant and amazing scenery in the night. Enjoy soaking and relaxing in Hot Spring bath and Open air bath

MARCH 07(FRI)NAGASAKI HOTEL NEW NAGASAKI
Enjoy browse around Huis Ten Bosch. Entire park is filled with real size copies of old Dutch buildings and windmills which make you feel as if you are in the Netherlands. Admission ticket is paid for to enjoy your favorite attraction such as Horizon Adventure Plus; a theater where you can experience violent floods from Holland’s history with dynamic sound and lighting. And there are many exciting amusements in the park. You also enjoy leisurely stroll along streets lined with flowers and greenery. Later proceed to Nagasaki, known for full of varied and fascinating sightseeing places. Visit Nagasaki Peace Park, which commemorates the city’s destruction by the Atomic bomb which was dropped on Aug. 09, 1945. In the park there is the massive Peace Statue and various other statues which promote and urge the concept of World Peace. We also visit Atomic Bomb Museum, then go to our hotel close to Nagasaki station and its shopping area, where you can enjoy shopping after hotel check in.

MARCH 08 (SAT) KUMAMOTO HOTEL NIKKO KUMAMOTO
Go to Nagasaki’s foremost tourist attraction “Glover Garden”. The elegance of the period of foreign settlement, nestled in picturesque surroundings offers a superb and extensive view of Nagasaki harbor. The gardens feature the former Glover Residence, the oldest western wooden building in Japan. After strolling the beautiful gardens, head to Kumamoto, old castle town blessed with abundance of nature. Our hotel is located center of the city and close to department store and shopping mall. After hotel check in , enjoy holo-holo near the hotel.

MARCH 09 (SUN) KAGOSHIMA HOTEL KYOSERA (ONSEN) ♨ 
Visit Suizenji Park, a spacious Japanese style landscape garden registered as a National historic site of scenic beauty. It features a crystal clear pond and magnificent pine trees. Enjoy strolling along a circular path one can enjoy changing scenery. It will be the season that Ume flower bloom in the garden. (Depending on the climate) Later proceed to Hitoyoshi, a 700 year old castle town called small Kyoto in Kyushu. Visit Craft Park. You can enjoy painting your own Flower box which is traditional handicraft in this area. Then go to our hotel, which is a modern city hotel with Onsen hot spring bath.

MARCH 10 (MON) AOSHIMA AOSHIMA PALM BEACH HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Head to Mt. Shiroyama in Kagoshima city. Drive up to its observatory where you can over look the City, Kinko Bay,symbolic Sakurajima. On the way drive by many historical sites, like the cave where Saigo Takamori committed suicide. Then go to Iso Garden, constructed in 1658 and designated as the place of Special National scenic beauty. The garden is made with fine design and has a refined taste, using Kinko bay to resemble the pond and Sakurajima , as the miniature mountain of the garden the view of Sakurajima. It will be the season when Ume flower and Kanhi Sakura (early blooming Cherry Blossom) blooming in the garden. (Depending on climate of the year) Later, catch a Ferry (15 minutes) to land on Sakurajima Island, one of the world’s greatest active volcanoes. You can feel the power of the active volcano spewing smoke up close. Then proceed to Kurozu (Rice vinegar)Factory to see process of making Kurozu, popularly used as a health-promoting supplement for bringing down blood pressure,activate metabolism, etc. We will stay popular resort hotel overlooking Hyuganada sea. Soak and relax in Onsen Hot Spring and Open air bath with beautiful ocean view.

MARCH 11 (TUE) NOBEOKA HOTEL MERIGE NOBEOKA 
Visit Aoshima Island with unusual wavy rock formation called Oni no Sentakuita (the ogre’s washboard) draw stripe patterns which show up at low tide. It is designated as a National Special natural Monument. Next enjoy driving beautiful Horikiri Pass, one of the best observation roads commanding the grandeur of the Hyuganada Sea. If timing is right, Cherry Blossoms bloom along the road. Later visit Tsuno Winery, one of several popular wineries in Kyushu. Taste local wines using homebred grapes and purchase it. Later go to Hyuga Cape with many exposed rocks facing beautiful Hyuganada sea. Umagase at the tip of the cape is a precipitous cliff of pillar-like rocks, towering 230ft high and commands excellent view of waves below breaking against rocks.

MARCH 12 (WED) BEPPU BEPPUWAN ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Head to Usuki to see its National Treasure Stone Buddha Carvings. The largest-scale rock Buddha figures carved during 12th century to 14th century. Its scale, number and high quality are representing Japanese piety. Later head to Beppu, known as Onsen (hot springs) capital of Japan in the number of sources and the variety of chemical properties. Enjoy some of Beppu Jigoku “Hell of Boiling Spring” Spectacular hot springs for viewing rather than bathing. Visit Chinoike Jigoku (blood pond hell) features a pond of hot, blood-red water. This awesome pond take it formidable color from red clay that dissolves in the natural hot spring water. And Tatsumaki Jigoku (Geyser hell) features boiling hot geyser which seems like a waterspout “Tatsumaki”. We will stay at Onsen resort hotel facing the scenic Beppu Bay.
Enjoy Hot Spring bath & Roten buro of famous Beppu hot spring.

MARCH 13 (THU) KOKURA RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL KOKURA
Visit African Safari Park, the largest Safari park zoo in Japan located in expansive Ajimu Steppe with 70 species, 1,400 animals. You can observe the large animals live freely. Enjoy exciting African Safari experience in Japan. Later go to Ao-No Domon (Blue tunnel) One of the most famous tourist attractions in Kyushu. One Buddist monk in Edo era had dug this 600ft tunnel by hand. It took 30 years to complete. Then go to our hotel close to station and its shopping area. Upon arrival at hotel free time to enjoy shopping or just rest.

MARCH 14 (FRI) KOKURA RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL KOKURA
Cross Kanmon Straits to get to Shimonoseki (Yamaguchi prefecture) known as the scene of an ancient battle leading to the fall of the Heike clan (in 1185) and fight between Musashi Miyamoto and Kojiro Sasaki (in 1612). Visit famous Karato fish market for shopping of Dried seafoods, tsukemono, etc., This market is known for Balloon fish (fugu). Good chance to eat fresh sushi at the market. You can try your favorite sushi from 1 piece at your own expense. After go shopping at AEON shopping center. Visit Tagawa Coal mine Museum which exhibits 15,000 items which pertain to coal mining. In particular their Sakubei Yamamoto collections are worth to see. This documentary heritage is registered as Memory of the World register in 2011. Then go back to the hotel. (Lunch and Dinner will be your own expense)

MARCH 15 (SAT) HONOLULU
At check out time we will come around to tape and tie up the boxes and take the baggage to be checked-in. In the afternoon proceed to Fukuoka Airport to catch Japan airlines flight to Nagoya or Narita Airport. Then catch International flight to Honolulu arriving the same morning March 15, 2014 (SAT). After clearing U.S. Customs proceed home. (Lunch and Dinner will be your own expense)
