MAY 11(SUN) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via a Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES and DRINKS.

MAY 12 (MON) IKEBUKURO, TOKYO HOTEL METROPOLITAN
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport, and after clearing government formalities, catch the limousine bus to the hotel in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, one of Tokyo’s multiple city centers and a major commercial & entertainment district in west Tokyo. Our hotel is located within easy walking distance to the Shopping District. Upon arrival at the hotel it will be “FREE TIME” to enjoy shopping, meet your relatives, friends, or just rest. Your guide will take you to the shopping area near the hotel.

MAY 13 (TUE) LAKE INAWASHIRO HOTEL LISTEL INAWASHIRO (ONSEN) ♨
Go to Ashikaga Flower Park to see Wisteria blooming around this season (Blooming level depends on climate of the year). This park is praised as “the best place to view Wisteria in Japan”. Beautiful Purple, White and Yellow Wisterias are blooming continuously from April to May. Then go to Sano City famous for its Sano Ramen consisting of deep flavored simple shoyu soup and bouncing noodles. We will eat Sano Ramen for lunch. Later head to beautiful Lake Inawashiro, called "heaven’s mirror lake" renowned as having "the world's highest degree of clearness". We will stay at a resort hotel offering magnificent views of the lake from the room. Good chance to enjoy your first "Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath” on this tour.

MAY 14 (WED) SENDAI HOTEL METROPOLITAN SENDAI
In the morning visit Aizu Village to see Azalea blooming in the park (If timing is right). This huge park has a 187 feet high Kannon Statue, Magariya old Japanese Style House, etc. Enjoy strolling around the park filled with seasonal flowers. Then visit Iimoriyama Hill, the historical site of young Aizu soldier’s suicide in 1868, known as a "Tragedy of the Byakkotai". You can visit 19 Byakkotai Graves located at the top of the hill. At the foot of the hill there are many souvenir stores and a Byakkotai Museum. Later proceed to Sendai, the "Largest City in Tohoku Region" and known as a modern city in harmony with nature. Our hotel is located next to Sendai Station and its Shopping Area. After hotel check in, you can enjoy shopping for local souvenirs etc. near the hotel.

MAY 15(THU) MORIOKA HOTEL METROPOLITAN MORIOKA
Head to Hiraizumi, "First World Heritage Site in the Tohoku Region". Visit Konjikido (Golden Hall) within Chusonji Temple, which attempts to recreate an ideal Buddhist "Pure Land" Paradise in this world. It is host an ensemble of Buddhist Culture of Gold developed independently in the Tohoku Region. After enjoying a local mochi dish for lunch, visit Esashi Fujiwara Heritage Park, a theme park retracing the "History of the Oshu Fujiwara Clan in the 12th Century. The magnificent castle formations, palace structures, government offices, etc. are faithfully recreated. The park has been used as a shooting location for many Samurai movies and TV dramas. It enables you to immerse yourself in the history and culture of a magnificent dream tale of the Heian Period. Our hotel is connected to Morioka Station and Shopping Area where you can enjoy shopping after hotel check in.

MAY 16(FRI) AOMORI HOTEL JAL CITY AOMORI
Proceed to Hachimantai National Park. We will enjoy driving on the Aspite Line. It is "one of Japan's best roads for a scenic drive" with beautiful mountain views. If timing is right, we will enjoy driving through a "Great Wall of Snow" (Snow Corridor). Impressively high walls of snow on either side of the road form a long corridor of snow. Enjoy this amazing experience of snow only available during this period! Later proceed to Aomori and visit the Warasse Nebuta Festival Museum dedicated to all aspects of the most energetic event in Aomori, the "Nebuta Festival". You will see "Huge and Colorful Floats" actually used for the festival. Feel the lively and exciting atmosphere of "one of Japan's best known and biggest summer events" that attracts 3,000,000 visitors annually. Then go to the hotel located at the center of the city. After hotel check in your guide will take you to "Holo Holo" around the hotel.

MAY 17(SAT) ONUMA HAKODATE ONUMA PRINCE HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning go to Aomori Station to catch the Express Train and cross to Hakodate, Southern Hokkaido via the Seikan Undersea Tunnel (33.5 miles long and "world's second longest undersea tunnel"). Upon arrival in Hakodate Station, visit the famous Hakodate Morning Market to buy dried seafood, etc. Then go to Goryokaku Park, "Japan’s first western-style fort" and now functioning as a park with its 5 pointed star-shape. From the new 351 feet high Observatory Tower you can enjoy a marvelous view of a huge star rimmed park and the whole city of Hakodate. This night's accommodation is a popular resort hotel located in a national park surrounded by a beautiful virgin forest of white birches and oaks. Enjoy relaxing in the Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath where you can view the beautiful forest over the pond while soaking in the Hot Spring Bath.

MAY 18(SUN) TOMAKOMAI GRAND HOTEL NEW OJI
In the morning, stop at the Morimachi Parking Area to see Cherry Blossoms (Sakura) blooming (if timing is right). Then proceed to Lake Toya, “one of Hokkaido’s three most impressive landscapes” and known as the venue of the G8 Summit in 2008. We will visit the still active Showa Shinzan (New) Volcano, one of Japan's youngest mountains created between 1944 and 1945 and designated as a “Special National Monument” it still vents sulfurous fumes today. Next go to the “Bear Farm” where you can “try feeding the Japanese Brown Bears (approx. 100 bears). Later head to our hotel located in Tomakomai City. After hotel check in your guide will take you to “Holo-Holo” around the hotel.

MAY 19(MON) MAKUBETSU ONSEN TOKACHI MAKUBETSU GRANDVRIO HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Head to Chitose City and visit the Salmon Museum. See the huge water tank with Salmon, Sturgeon and other river fishes. Also see a movie in English showing the “Life of Salmon”. We will try to release baby salmon into the river which is available only during this season. Then go to Tokachi once noted as "Real Hokkaido is here". If timing is right, we will visit Shichiku Garden where the Tulip Festival will be held during this season. This garden has been created for over 20 years by one family. Recently it has become a very popular place where colorful tulips are blooming in the huge garden. Later proceed to our hotel in Tokachi Makubetsu Onsen, “one of only two hot spring resorts in the world that use moor hot spring water”. It is good for beauty, neuralgia, muscle pains and dermatitis. Soak and Relax in the famous Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath. Private Onsen is available at your own expense.

MAY 20(TUE) LAKE KUSSHARO KUSSHARO PRINCE HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Visit the Ainu Village in Lake Akan to see the “Ainu Show” with Ainu Dance, Singing, etc. Ainu are the aborigines of the Northern Part of Japan. These dance rites have been designated as an “Important National Intangible Cultural Property”. Then visit Lake Mashu, considered by many to be "Japan's most beautiful lake" because of its solemn beauty. On a clear day, you can enjoy its picture-postcard perfect natural scenery. Next visit the Taiho Sumo Museum. Taiho was the 48th Yokozuna Sumo Wrestler in 1961 and kept the rank of Yokozuna for 10 years while winning as Grand Champion 32 times. Taiho’s Emperor’s Cup, diploma sash, sword, etc. are exhibited here. Later go to our hotel, “one of the top resort hotels in Eastern Hokkaido. Soak and Relax in the Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath.

MAY 21(WED) SOUNKYO GORGE CHOYO RESORT HOTEL ONSEN ♨
Go to Higashimokoto to enjoy its very impressive view of the hill covered by the pretty pink carpet of flowers, “Shibazakura” (Moss Phlox). (Blooming level depends on climate of the year). Enjoy strolling around the park with a magnificent panorama of Moss Phlox which resemble Sakura (Cherry Blossom) Flowers and create wonderful landscapes. Next visit Yama-no Aquarium a newly popular tourist attraction in Hokkaido. It is amazing to see Japan's biggest freshwater fish "Ito" (Japanese Huchen) swimming and forming groups. The basin water tank is "Japan's first water dome tank where you can see the world under the waterfall". Then head to Sounkyo Gorge in Daisetsuzan National Park with its unusual rock formations and beautiful greenery. Steep cliffs reaching 530 feet in height are especially impressive. See “one of the top 100 waterfalls in Japan, beautiful Ryusei (shooting star) and Ginga (galaxy) Waterfalls as they cascade down through columnar joints on the sheer cliff. Our hotel is located in Sounkyo Hot Spring. Enjoy your last Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath on this tour.

MAY 22 (THU) SAPPORO SAPPORO CENTURY ROYAL HOTEL
Head to the “Largest City in Hokkaido” Sapporo. On the way visit the AEON Shopping Center for Lunch and Shopping. Later stop at Sunagawa Highway Oasis to enjoy shopping for Hokkaido's local specialties and a chance to buy delicious "Pumpkin Seed Cookies". Our hotel is located next to Sapporo Station with Department Stores and Underground Shopping Mall. After hotel check in "FREE TIME" to finish shopping, packing, etc. Your rooms are paid for, but meals (LUNCH and DINNER) will be "At Your Own Expense" to let you eat your favorite foods before returning home. We will give everyone a carton box to use for packing his or her gifts. (2 Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance. Any excess will be paid for by the member).

MAY 23(FRI) HONOLULU {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}
At check out time, our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon, proceed by bus to Chitose Airport, to catch a Japan Airlines domestic flight to Narita Int’l Airport and transfer to an international flight in the evening to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, MAY 23, 2014 (FRI).
