JULY 6 (SUN) HONOLULU 
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES & DRINKS.

JULY 7(MON) OSAKA SHERATON MIYAKO HOTEL OSAKA
Arrive at Kansai (Osaka) Int’l Airport and after clearing government formalities, by bus to the hotel in Osaka, central city of west Japan and the biggest city in the Kansai Region. Our hotel is located next to Uehonmachi Station and Department Store.

JULY 8 (TUE) OSAKA SHERATON MIYAKO HOTEL OSAKA
Head to Sakai an attractive city in Osaka with a varied history and traditions. Visit the Sakai City Hall with its observatory offering a 360 degree view of the city. See the Nintoku-ryo Tomb, Japan's largest keyhole shaped tomb built from the 4th to 5th century as well as one of the world's three largest imperial mausoleums along with the pyramid of Egypt and the mausoleum of Ying Zheng of China. Also visit Sakai Traditional Industry Hall with exhibits mainly pertaining to the 600 year old Sakai cutlery. Even today, 90 of all professional-use kitchen knives are made in this city. It will be a good chance to buy kitchen knives used by Japanese chefs. Next visit Kaiyukan Aquarium "One of the Largest Aquariums in the World". The main attraction is the majestic giant "Whale Shark", the largest fish on earth. There are 30,000 marine animals representing 580 species. It is a magnetic attraction for both children and adults. After going back to the hotel you can enjoy shopping around the hotel or just rest. For those who wish to we will take you to the Kuromon Shopping Arcade, a lively arcade filled with 170 shops and called "Kitchen of Osaka" by train.

JULY 9(WED) GIFU GIFU MIYAKO HOTEL
Go to Shigaraki Tanuki (raccoon dog) Village home of the famous Shigaraki Pottery, "One of the Six Oldest Potteries in Japan" with a 750 year history. The main feature is Raccoon Dog Pottery which is "considered to promise you success for business and protection from accident". Enjoy shopping for many types of pottery ranging from dishes and tea cups to flower vases, etc. Then head to Nagoya to visit Tokugawa Museum a very rare museum where priceless treasures preserved by the ruling Owari Tokugawa Family are exhibited. Its collection contains more than 12,000 items including swords, armor, Noh costumes, lacquer furniture, etc. Then go to our excellent hotel located in front of the Nagara River. In the evening we will “enjoy watching Ukai (Cormorant Fishing)” on the Nagara River from the “Yakata Boat” (1 hour ride). Ukai is a traditional fishing method that has been passed down for over 1,300 years. Fishermen work together with trained cormorants to catch fish using torches in the pitch black darkness. “Enjoy a World of Delicate Beauty in Japanese Tradition”.

JULY 10(THU) OTSU ROYAL OAK HOTEL
In the morning visit the newly opened Ukai (Cormorant Fishing) Museum introducing information about "cormorant fishing" a major tradition and culture representing Japan. Learn more about this cultural tradition through panels, movies, etc. Then proceed to Lake Biwa, "the Biggest Lake in Japan" and visit the Yatsuhashi Factory. Yatsuhashi is a traditional Japanese confectionery famously produced in Kyoto. It is a great gift for most Japanese people because they are quite delicious and easy on the teeth. We will see the place where Yatsuhashi is made and enjoy shopping at the factory store. Later enjoy a "Michigan Cruise" on Lake Biwa. Ride a paddlewheel ship that has an early American mood. Experience the exquisite beauty and great scale of the lake that is considered as a "sacred natural environment". Later proceed to our hotel located by Lake Biwa and easy walking distance to a Shopping Mall with a ¥100 Yen Shop, etc. Your room faces the lake and the hotel has a beautiful garden where you can enjoy a peaceful walk.

JULY 11 (FRI) KOBE ANA CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL KOBE
Proceed to Kyoto and have fun riding on the Sagano Scenic Railway, known as the charming and old fashioned “Torokko Train”. This open window train gives you a nice breeze while viewing the beautiful river flowing through a forested ravine during the ride. Then head to Mt. Rokko, Kobe and visit the Hall of Halls Rokko where we can see a music box exhibit with automatic musical instruments including “One of the World’s Largest Dance Organs”. We will enjoy their fabulous music performance. After check-in at the hotel located at the foot of Mt. Rokko, those who wish to can take the “Rope Way” (walking distance from the hotel) to enjoy the magnificent scenery of Mt. Rokko and Kobe Bay. In the evening you can enjoy a beautiful night view from your room praised as having a “Value of 10 Million Dollars”! {Weather -Permitting}.

JULY 12 (SAT) MUNAKATA GENKAI ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Walk to the Shin Kobe Station (connected to the hotel) and catch the world famous Shinkansen (Bullet Train) passing thru Himeji, Okayama and Hiroshima to Shin-Yamaguchi. Upon arrival, transfer to a bus and go to Shimonoseki known as the scene of an ancient battle leading to the fall of the Heike Clan in 1185 and fight between Musashi Miyamoto and Kojiro Sasaki in 1612. Visit the Karato Fish Market to have fun shopping for Tsukemono pickles, Dried Seafood, etc. This market is known for certain specialties including Balloon Fish (Fugu) and fresh Sushi. Good chance to buy and eat your favorite sushi by selecting from the different types sold by pieces {At Your Own Expense}. Later visit Ashiya gama (Tea Ceremony Kettle) Village. This area has been manufacturing Iron Tea Ceremony Kettles for over 650 years. 8 out of the 9 Iron Tea Ceremony Kettles registered as "National Important Cultural Property" were been made here. You can taste Traditional Japanese Tea at the Tea Room and take a stroll while viewing the beautiful Japanese Garden. Then go to the hotel surrounded by a Pine Forest and Genkainada Sea. Soak and Relax in the Onsen and Roten Buro (Open Air Bath).

JULY 13 (SUN) HAKATA HOTEL OKURA FUKUOKA
Go to the Kyushu National Museum, "One of 4 National Important Cultural Assets Museums in Japan". The concept of this museum is "New Perspective on Japanese Cultural Formation in the Context of Asian History". You will learn through a stunning range of exhibits including an impressive collection of national cultural assets, etc. Later head to Hakata the "Biggest City in Kyushu". It will be early check in to the hotel. For those who wish to we will take you to Kawabata Shopping Mall lined with 100 stores carrying traditional Japanese Kimono, Hardware, Tea, etc. This mall is also famous for "Zenzai" a traditional Japanese sweet that you can try tasting (At Your Own Expense). In the afternoon there will be a big "Yamakasa Parade" near the hotel. It is one of the highlights of the "Yamakasa Festival". You will see 7-teams parading and enjoy experiencing the energy of Hakata up close!

JULY 14 (MON) KIJIMA HEIGHTS KIJIMA KOGEN HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning visit the Taio Gold Mine which actually operated from 1898 to 1972 and was once the "Biggest Gold Mine in Asia". The Underground Tunnel Tour takes you inside an actual mine to see how the miners used to work. Later visit Kuju Flower Park. The sight of vibrant colorful flowers set against a backdrop of mountains is absolutely indescribable. Colorful Cocks comb Flowers will be in season to bloom (blooming level depending on climate conditions). Then go to our hotel located in the Kijima Highlands surrounded by mountains. Enjoy the Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath. (Private Onsen available At Your Own Expense).

JULY 15 (TUE) KIJIMA HEIGHTS KIJIMA KOGEN HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Enjoy driving the Yamanami Highway along with beautiful mountain scenery praised as “One of the Most Beautiful Scenic Driveways in Japan”. Visit the Kuju Lavender Park to see an amazingly beautiful carpet of Lavender which stands out against the deep green of the mountains. Also go to see the “Kuju Great Suspension Bridge” the “Longest and Highest Pedestrian Bridge in Japan” (567ft high & 1,279ft long). If you wish to and have the courage, you can “try walking on it”! The dramatic elevation and slight swaying in the wind make this a thrilling walk. After going back to the hotel, you can visit Kijima Kogen Amusement Park located next to the hotel. {Admission will be paid for, but attraction fee will be “At Your Own Expense”). You can try the Wooden Roller Coaster, Water Splash Roller Coaster, Spiral Roller Coaster, etc. (each ride ranges somewhere around ¥300 Yens to ¥1,000 Yens). Or you can get rested at the hotel and enjoy the Onsen Hot Spring and Open Air Bath if you prefer. {Hotel staff will give a "Mochi Pounding" performance at dinner time with audience participation encouraged}.

JULY 16 (WED) KOKURA RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL KOKURA
{Only BREAKFAST is included this day}. {LUNCH and DINNER will be “At Your Own Expense”}. Head to Innai known as the "Town of Stone Bridges". Its central river is filled with an absurdly picturesque number of stone bridges providing wonderful photo opportunities. Stone bridges were constructed in the late Edo Period through early Showa Period. Later enjoy shopping at the AEON Shopping Center before going to the hotel in Kokura located next to Kokura Station and its Shopping Area. UPON ARRIVAL, FREE TIME TO FINISH SHOPPING, PACKING, ETC. Your rooms are paid for, but (DINNER) will be at your own expense to let you eat your favorite foods before returning home. We will give everyone a carton box for packing his or her gifts. (2 Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance. Any excess will be paid for by the member).

JULY 17(THU) HONOLULU {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}
At checkout time our agents will come around to tape and tie up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon, proceed to Fukuoka Airport to catch a domestic flight to Kansai (Osaka) or Narita Airport and transfer to a Japan Airlines connecting flight in the evening to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, JULY 17, 2014 (THURSDAY). INCLUDES: All transportation included in the itinerary, all hotel accommodations, meals and all sightseeing listed, all transfer of passenger and baggage, souvenir picture and tour tax. Roundtrip air transportation by Economy Jet.

DOES NOT INCLUDE: Individual expenses after termination of tour as stated in itinerary. Also, wine, liquor, mineral water, laundry and other items of personal nature, cost of obtaining passport and visa or other necessary documents.

BAGGAGE: Limited to (1) piece, 50 lbs. and (1) hand-carry.

RESPONSIBILITY: The tour organizer or any travel agencies involved, act only as agents for the passengers in regards to travel, sightseeing, hotel and meal arrangements, and other tour services. The organizer/agency will accept no responsibility or liability in respect of either person or property for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity, however, occasioned, sustained, or suffered in or during any journey, trip, or tour, or in carrying out of any arrangements booked by or through it.

If the agency becomes aware that a passenger has a special chronic health problem, the agency shall ensure that it is provided with a letter from the passenger’s personal physician stating the nature of such health problem and certifying that the passenger is physically fit to participate in the tour. Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the tour. Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members. However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.

Baggage’s are at owner’s own risk. The right is reserved to make any necessary changes in tour if deemed advisable.

Also, the airlines and other transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their carriers concerned.
