Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight.  FREE MOVIES and DRINKS.
 
NOV. 24(MON) NARITA OR KANSAI(OSAKA)/NAHA OKINAWA        HOTEL ROYAL ORION
Arrive at Narita or Kansai Int’l Airport and after entry formalities, transfer to the Domestic flight terminal and board a Japan Airlines flight to Naha Airport, Okinawa.  Upon arrival, proceed to the hotel by bus.  Our hotel is located along Kokusai Shopping Street. The main shopping and entertainment strip in Naha.

NOV. 25(TUE) NAHA, OKINAWA        HOTEL ROYAL ORION
Whole Day Tour of the Southern Part of Okinawa Honto (Main) Island.  Proceed to Okinawa Senseki Quasi National Park (Old World War II Battlefields).  There are 67 monuments within the park, including Himeyuri Monument (High School Girls), Reimei Monument (General Ushijima with his assistants) at Mabuni Hill etc.  Then go to Okinawa World, a theme park of Okinawan Culture and “one of the most popular destinations in Okinawa”.  Its main attraction is Gyokusendo Limestone Cave, an extensive natural limestone cave, which is “Japan’s second longest stalactite cave”.  Enjoy walking along the spectacular stalactites and stalagmites.   You can also visit the nice replica of a traditional Ryukyu Village with traditional Okinawan Style Houses, which were built over 100 years ago.  There are workshops introducing various traditional Okinawan Crafts such as weaving, pottery, glass blowing, etc.  And we will get a chance to see exciting EISA (traditional Okinawan drum dance) show. Okinawa’s heroic dance with the sound of the drums will captivate you. After going back to the hotel, we will take you to Makishi Public Market, which is called “Okinawa’s Kitchen”.  Enjoy strolling around the lively market, called one of the most fascinating markets in Japan.  

NOV. 26(WED) ISHIGAKI ISLAND        ISHIGAKI SEA SIDE HOTEL
Catch a domestic flight to ISHIGAKI Island, the most popular island among neighbor islands of Okinawa.  Upon arrival, ride a boat (10 minutes) to Taketomi Island, a very small Island where Traditional Village landscape and lifestyle are preserved for centuries.  We will ride on Suigyusha (Buffalo Taxi) which is a carriage, pulled by Water Buffalo.  You will enjoy peaceful atmosphere of island which consist of white sand roads, traditional red tiled roof houses, etc. And visit Star sand beach.  Taketomi is one of only two islands in Japan that accumulate this “Star shape sand” formed from the shells of tiny crustaceans.  Try your luck at finding your own “Star sand”.  Our hotel is located in front of white sand beach.  Enjoy walking on the beach and relaxing in beautiful resort hotel in neighbor island of Okinawa.

NOV. 27(THU) ISHIGAKI ISLAND        ISHIGAKI SEA SIDE HOTEL
Ride a ferry (40 minutes) to Iriomote Island, the southernmost of Japan’s national parks and nearly 90 percent of the island is covered by dense jungle and mangrove forest thus called “Galapagos in Orient” Have fun in Jungle boat cruise to travel inland to a large Mangrove tree and enjoy abundant nature.  And go across Yubu Island riding on yet slightly antiquated looking Water Buffalo Cart.  This small island is separated from Iriomote and the Water Buffalo  pulls the cart through shallow ocean.  It is making for a fun experience and interesting story to tell.  Then go back to Ishigaki Island and visit Minsaori Textile Museum.  Minsa-Ori is a traditional Okinawan handmade textile.  Rimi Natsukawa, who is a female singer of “Nada soso” and was born in this island.  Her costumes are exhibited here. 

NOV. 28 (FRI) ONNASON        RIZZAN SEA PARK HOTEL
In the morning, visit Kabira Bay, considered one of the most beautiful places in Japan.  Enjoy stunning scenery of emerald blue bay with a perfect yellow-white beach.  Then proceed to Ishigaki New Airport to catch a domestic flight back to NAHA.  Upon arrival, by bus to MANZA MO, which  is said to be one of the best scenic view points in Okinawa.  With natural grass growing, all over the hill ending in a cliff facing the sea.  The unique elephant-trunk-shaped rock formation can be enjoyed seeing from here.  Our hotel is one of the largest resort hotels in Okinawa and located in the Okinawa Coastal-National park with it’s half mile long beach.  Enjoy the Okinawan resort hotel experience.

NOV. 29(SAT) NAHA        HOTEL ROYAL ORION
Proceed to Okinawa’s beautiful northern area.  Visit the Okinawa  Commemorative National Government Park, commemorating the Ocean Expo in 1975.  The park contains famous Aquarium, one of the must-see places in Okinawa.  The Aquarium is the world’s second largest, and unique for feeding of Whale sharks and Manta’s.  There is a tunnel where truly feels like you are in the ocean with the fish.  Enjoy amazing aquarium experience!  Later enjoy ORION beer Factory tour.  Okinawa’s major beer company founded in 1957 during the American occupation.  See the process of making beer and tasting freshly brewed Okinawan beer made with Okinawan spring water.  Then go back to our hotel in NAHA.  In the evening enjoy Traditional Okinawa style dinner while viewing the Okinawan Dance show at the Yotsutake Restaurant in Downtown-Kokusai Avenue.

NOV. 30(SUN)NAHA        HOTEL ROYAL ORION
In the morning, visit World Heritage site SHURI Castle with its SHUREI-NO-MON (Gate of castle) which is familiar symbol of the unique history and culture of Okinawa.  Shuri castle was originally built in the late 1300’s and becomes most important historical site in Naha.  Current buildings are beautiful reconstructions known as a masterpiece of Ryukyu architectures.  It is well worth a visit as it rather unique to other castles in Japan.  Visit another World Heritage site TAMAUDUN the Royal Mausoleum for the Ryukyu Kingdom which built in the 1500’s.  After enjoy lunch and shopping at AEON shopping center, head to Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters. Several hundred meters of underground corridors and rooms, which served as the Japanese navy’s headquarters during the World War II. 

DEC. 01(MON) YOKOHAMA        YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Proceed to NAHA Airport to catch flight to HANEDA Airport, Tokyo.  Upon arrival, go directly to the hotel in Yokohama.  The hotel is located within easy walking distance to department stores, big electronics store, 100 yen shop and underground shopping mall.  After hotel check in we will take to Holo Holo and shopping around the hotel.  In the evening, for those who want to, we will take you to Yokohama Night view tour by bus.  Yokohama is famous for beautiful night view of the port town with buildings, bridge, and Ferris wheel harmonize splendidly. 

DEC. 02(TUE) SHIMODA        SHIMODA TOKYU HOTEL (ONSEN)
Head to a popular resort area, “Izu Peninsula”.    Visit the Maple Forest in Shuzenji.  Shuzenji is a very popular place to see the Autumn Colors, (If the Timing is Right).   You can walk around the Maple forest with crimson leaves. If weather is good Mt. Fuji can be seen from top of the hill.  Next proceed to Kawazu, famous for the scene in the novel “Izu no Odoriko” written by Yasunari Kawabata, who received the Nobel Prize.  See some of the popular Kawazu Seven Falls, where you can see the “Statue of Izu no Odoriko” near the Shokei Waterfall.  Then go to our hotel, popular resort hotel located on the hillside with a nice view of the bay.   Good chance to try the Hot Spring Bath & Roten buro (open air bath) where you can see beautiful scenery of Pacific ocean and some of the Izu Seven island on clear day.

DEC. 03(WED)IZU HATAKE ONSEN              HOTEL DAISENYA (ONSEN)          
In the morning, catch a salon express train “Resort21” from Shimoda Station.  You can enjoy the beautiful scenery from an observatory car.  After arrival at Izu Kogen Station, visit Wax Doll Museum, exhibits life-sized wax dolls of famous historical figures and global stars such as Tokugawa Ieyasu, Marilyn Monroe, etc. The most popular work is Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper”. (took 13 years to be completed) If the weather is fine, we will enjoy driving along the Izu Skyline by bus.  It is a scenic toll road winding through the mountains of East Izu.  This skyline offers splendid views of Mt. Fuji, Hakone and Suruga Bay.  Enjoy a famous activity in Izu, “Mikan (Tangerine) Picking”.  Have fun picking your own Unshu Mikan Tangerines in season.  Later proceed to our hotel where Mt. Fuji can be seen on a clear day.  Enjoy a delicious “Japanese Kaiseki Dinner” in the evening.  Soak, and Relax in the Hot Spring Bath & Roten Buro (Open Air Bath) designated as a “Hot Spring with Recuperative Properties” by Japan’s Ministry of Environment.

DEC 04 (THU) YOKOHAMA        YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Head to Atami, a hot spring resort of scenic beauty with seasonal aspects surrounded by the sea and mountains.  We will visit a famous Autumn Leaves place “Atami Baien Garden”.  The Maple Festival will be held this time of season.  You will see picturesque sceneries while strolling along the pathway in the garden.   Before going back to Yokohama, stop at a Shopping Mall for shopping and lunch (At Your Own Expense).  Upon arrival at the hotel, FREE TIME FOR SHOPPING, PACKING ETC.   Your rooms are paid for, but meals (LUNCH/DINNER) will be at your own expense to let you eat your favorite foods before returning home.   We will give everyone a carton box for packing their gifts.  (2-Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance.  Any excess will be paid for by the member).  

DEC 05 (FRI) HONOLULU  {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}

RESPONSIBILITY:  The tour organizer or any travel agencies involved, act only as agents for the passengers in regards to travel, sightseeing, hotel and meal arrangements, and other tour services. The organizer/agency will accept no responsibility or liability in respect of either person or property for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity, however, occasioned, sustained, or suffered in or during any journey, trip, or tour, or in carrying out of any arrangements booked by or through it. 
If the agency becomes aware that a passenger has a special chronic health problem, the agency shall ensure that it is provided with a letter from the passenger’s personal physician stating the nature of such health problem and certifying that the passenger is physically fit to participate in the tour.  Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the tour.  Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members.  However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being. 
Baggage’s are at owner’s own risk.  The right is reserved to make any necessary changes in tour if deemed advisable.
