JAN. 13 (TUE) HONOLULU (07/22/14-RT)
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight.  Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight.  FREE DRINKS and MOVIES.

JAN. 14 (WED) NARITA - NARITA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport and after government entry formalities, by bus to our hotel near the airport.    After hotel check-in your tour guide will take you to the AEON Shopping Center by shuttle bus {If You Wish To}.  

JAN. 15 (THU) KAMOGAWA - KAMOGAWA HOTEL MIKAZUKI (ONSEN) ♨
Visit the National Museum of Japanese History, which traces the comprehensive history and cultural development of the Japanese people.  See impressive collection of National Important Cultural Assets, realistic models of villages and landscapes, etc. Taste   “New Year Happiness Lunch Dish” with a wish for “Good Health in the New Year”.  It can only be served during the “New Year Season”.  Then go to Naritasan Shinshoji Temple for “Hatsumode” {The First Visit to a Shrine or Temple to pray for “Good Fortune in the New Year”}.  This highly popular temple annually attracts 3 million people for a New Year’s visit.   You can pray for family and traffic safety like the Japanese visitors do.  Also enjoy strolling around Omotesando, a lively street lined with numerous stores selling traditional crafts, foods and souvenirs to pilgrims for centuries.  Later, visit Sakura Samurai Street, the biggest remaining Samurai residence in the Kanto area.  Old Samurai houses with earthworks and living fence has not changed since the Edo Period. Then head to a Japanese Style Onsen Resort Hotel which has a “Big Hot Spring Bath” and Open Air Roten Buro, with a beautiful ocean view from the top floor of the hotel.  You can also try the famous “Special Pure Gold Bathtub”.  
Dinner will be a buffet featuring Fresh Seafood, Sushi, Sashimi, Crab, Tempura, Steak, etc.        

JAN. 16 (FRI) TOMIURA - TOMIURA ROYAL HOTEL 
Go to famous Kamogawa Sea World, a must see destination in Chiba prefecture.  Enjoy seeing several shows of sea animals such as Dolphin, Beluga Whale, Sea lion, etc.  The main attraction here is the “Killer Whale Show”!  Enjoy their dynamic jump with a big splash performed by the “King of the Ocean”.  Chiba is famous for Seafood because of the close proximity to fishing ports.  Enjoy Seafood BBQ Lunch with fresh local seafood, meats, vegetables, fruits, etc, in a buffet style.  Later go to Tateyama Family Park. This will be the season when the Poppy Flower is blooming.  It looks like a huge Yellow and Orange Carpet created by beautiful poppies.  We will stay in a Resort Hotel located in a cape where you can enjoy a peaceful walk around the hotel.   Soak in a Big Public Bath and Open Air Roten Buro Bath (Sorry not Onsen Hot Spring).   And Dinner will be a Japanese Set Menu with an essential Japanese New Years Dish “Ozoni” (Japanese Mochi Soup).  It is a Japanese Tradition in New Years.

JAN. 17 (SAT) KISARAZU - OKURA AKADEMIA PARK HOTEL
Visit the Okuzure Narcissus Village to see the Narcissus which should be blooming during this time of season.  This town is "one of 3 major Narcissus Spots in Japan".  See the beautiful contrasting view of Japanese Narcissus, green leaves and golden fruits of the surrounding Mikan trees standing out against the winter sky.   Later visit Nihonji to see its impressive historical Big Stone Buddha it is 101 ft. tall and 230 years old. And visit Nori Factory.  It will be the season when Nori Seaweed is made.   You can enjoy shopping and "Sample Fresh Raw Nori, Miso Soup, Grilled Nori, etc."  Then go to our hotel on the hill.  Your room has a veranda where you can "Feel the Nature of the Boso Area".   After dinner go to the Tokyo German Village to see its amazing displays of the "Winter Illumination Festival".  The Illumination Festival offers a really fantastic spectacle with "2 Million Light Bulbs".  This magical festival of lights and sound has been chosen as "Japan's Nightscape Heritage Site".         

JAN. 18 (SUN) SUIDOBASHI, TOKYO - TOKYO DOME HOTEL 
Visit the Ichihara Elephant Kingdom that houses ten elephants ("Japan's biggest elephant breeding location", nearly 100 kinds of Animals live.  See the amazing Elephants show that play Soccer, Basketball, etc. very skillfully.   Later go to Tokyo Dome where Furusato Matsuri (Japan’s Festivals & Hometown Foods) Festival will be held.  Tokyo’s biggest food festival featuring local foods from across Japan such as seafood, donburi rice bowls, sake, fancy desserts, etc.   And watch large-scale re creations of popular festivals in Japan like Dram festival.   Our hotel located right next to the Tokyo Dome Stadium, and Tokyo Dome City Shopping Mall where Winter festival is held.  Festival site will be “Illuminated with 500,000 lights”.  
After dinner you will get a chance to go strolling around the festival site with beautiful illumination. 
       
JAN 19 (MON) SUIDOBASHI, TOKYO - TOKYO DOME HOTEL 
Visit Rikugien Garden often considered Tokyo’s most Beautiful Japanese landscape garden that established in 1702.  The garden is a good example of an Edo Period strolling style garden and features a large central pond surrounded by manmade hills and forested areas.  Later visit Tokyo’s newest tourist attraction TeNQ Space Museum (Opened on July 8, 2014).  An entertainment museum using state of the art technology that provides a moving experience of the wonders of the Space and Universe, ‘Theater Sora’, is an 36 ft. – wide hole in the floor that allows you to view Earth as seen from space satellite.  The experiences make you feeling closer to the cosmos.  Later go to Ameyoko "One of Japan's Most Popular Shopping Streets" filled with many shops offering discounts on all kinds of things including seafood, sweets, T-shirts, snacks, etc.   Enjoy big shopping!

JAN. 20 (TUE) KINUGAWA - KINUGAWA HOTEL MIKAZUKI (ONSEN) ♨
Go to Ashikaga Flower Park where seasonal flowers blooming all year round.  Camellia should be blooming around this season.  We will have an “Osechi-ryori Lunch”, a set of New Year’s dishes with a “Wish for Good Luck for the Year”.   And visit Kurita Museum, the largest porcelain museum in the world with a remarkable collection and display of Japanese porcelain known as Imari and Nabeshima ware which were the first porcelain produced in Japan during the Edo period (1603-1867).  Later enjoy tasting the regional specialty in season “Strawberry Picking”.  Try sweet and fresh strawberries as much as you like.     Then proceed to Kinugawa "One of Japan’s Largest Onsen Resort Areas".     We will stay at a beautiful Onsen Resort Hotel with many varieties of Hot springs baths such as Rocky bath, Silk bath, Jacuzzi.  Golden bath tub, etc. Onsen Hot Spring Baths and Open Air Bath (Roten-Buro).  Of famous Kinugawa Hot Spring.             
          
JAN. 21 (WED) KINUGAWA - KINUGAWA HOTEL MIKAZUKI (ONSEN) ♨
Visit Nikko Begonia Park to enjoy walking around green houses filled with colorful Begonias.  Then proceed to Nikko to visit World Cultural Heritage Site “Toshogu Shrine”, main attraction of Nikko and praised as the most photographed place in Japan.  (Yomeimon Gate is currently being renovated and covered up by scaffolding.) We will enjoy Sweets Buffet for taking a short break.   Tasting Japanese Sweets, Manju, Cake, Ice-cream, etc. {As Much As You Like}!  Later go to see Kegon Waterfall in winter scenery.  It is ranked as one of the Three Most Beautiful and Highest Falls in Japan with a height of 318 ft.  In winter the waterfall offers a different kind of beauty when the rocks are covered in thick icicles and snow, often looking quite blue.  Then go back to the hotel to enjoy Soaking and Relaxing in the Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath (Roten-Buro).  In the evening, we will eat “Oshiruko” (a Traditional Japanese Dessert consisting of Azuki Beans and Mochi).  It is also “A Special Soup for New Year Celebration”.    

JAN. 22 (THU) YOKOHAMA - YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
In the Morning we will enjoy “Grilling Senbei (rice cracker) at Nikko Okaki factory.  Also you can buy fresh Senbei at the factory store.  Later visit Tobu World Square, a theme park that has 1:25 scale models of the most famous “World Cultural Heritage Sites in the World” such as Pyramids, Great Wall of China, Himeji Castle, Statue of Liberty, etc.  You can enjoy “Around the world trip” at this park.  Then head to Yokohama, 2nd largest city in Japan.       Our hotel is located within easy walking distance to Department Stores, Big Electronics Store, ¥100 Yen Shop and Underground Shopping Mall.  After hotel check in your guide will take you to Holo-Holo around the hotel.    

JAN. 23 (FRI) YOKOHAMA - YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS  
Enjoy shopping at Yokohama Central Wholesale Market to buy Tsukemono, Umeboshi, (at a whole sale price) etc.  Then go to Minato Mirai Area. Yokohama’s most popular district called a town of the future with full of modern high-rise buildings.  Visit  popular Yokohama Landmark Tower.  Enjoy panoramic 360 degrees view overlooking Yokohama Port, bay Bridge, etc. from Observation on 69th floor (892 ft. high).  On clear day, Mt. Fuji can be seen from here.  Stop at Lazona Shopping Mall for shopping and lunch before going back to hotel.    Upon after arrival.  It will be “FREE TIME” to Finish Shopping, Packing, Etc.  Your rooms are paid for, but meals {LUNCH & DINNER} will be at your own expense to let you eat your favorite foods before returning home.   We will give everyone a carton box for packing their gifts.  {2-Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance.  Any excess will be paid for by the member}.  

JAN. 24 (SAT) HONOLULU   {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}
At check out time, our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down.    Proceed to Narita Int’l Airport to catch the evening to Honolulu. Arrive in Honolulu the same morning, JANUARY 24, 2015 (SATURDAY).  After clearing U.S. Customs, proceed home.  THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR JOINING OUR 2015 TOHOKU TRAVEL’S “HATSUMODE” CELEBRATION WITH NEW YEARS CUISINE TOUR #1!  Clients remaining back will be assisted in obtaining train, plane and hotel reservations.

INCLUDES:  All land transportation included in the itinerary, all hotel accommodations, meals and all sightseeing listed, all transfer of passenger and baggage, souvenir picture and tour tax.

The organizer/agency will accept no responsibility or liability in respect of either person or property for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity, however, occasioned, sustained, or suffered in or during any journey, trip, or tour, or in carrying out of any arrangements booked by or through it.   If the agency becomes aware that a passenger has a special chronic health problem, the agency shall ensure that it is provided with a letter from the passenger’s personal physician stating the nature of such health problem and certifying that the passenger is physically fit to participate in the tour.  Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the tour.  Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members.  However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.   Baggage’s are at owner’s own risk.  The right is reserved to make any necessary changes in tour if deemed advisable.
