MARCH 01(SUN) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu International Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a snack will be served aboard the flight.

MARCH 02 (MON) HAKATA HAKATA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport or Kansai Int’l Airport?? and after clearance of government formalities transfer to a connecting flight to Fukuoka Airport. Upon arrival by bus to the hotel in Hakata, biggest city in Kyushu. Hotel is located near downtown Nakasu area, where it is good for shopping and strolling, etc.

MARCH 03(TUE) HAKATA HAKATA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Visit Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, it will be filled with Ume Blossom around this time of season.(depending on climate) This shrine is the first and most important of several hundreds of shrines dedicated to Sugawara Michizane as God of Scholarship. The path to the Shrine is lined with shops carrying local specialties such as famous Umegae-mochi. Later visit Konpeito (Japanese sugar candy) Kingdom to enjoy making konpeito candy. Konpeito candy is a traditional Japanese sweets with a history of 460 years. And visit Yusentei Garden. This purely strolling style Japanese Garden is centered on a scenic pond with the lush walking paths wind through the thick trees and moss covered rocks etc., Enjoy immersing yourself in uniquely Japanese landscape garden atmosphere. After go back to the hotel, walk to Kawabata Shopping Mall near the hotel, with various kinds of stores carrying Japanese Tea, Kimono wear, Cutlery etc., The hotel is facing Naka river with lots of stalls lining where local people enjoy drinking and eating in the evening. Feel the energy of local people in Hakata.

MARCH 04 (WED) NAGASAKI HOTEL JAL CITY NAGASAKI
Enjoy Strawberry picking in season. Taste fresh and sweet Japanese strawberry!(as much as you like) Then proceed to Nagasaki, one of the most intriguing and attractive tourist destinations in Kyushu with an incredible history with close ties to Europe and China. Visit Nagasaki’s foremost tourist attraction Glover Garden. The elegance of the period of foreign settlement, nestled in picturesque surroundings offers a superb and extensive view of Nagasaki harbor. The gardens feature the former Glover residence, the oldest western wooden building in Japan. Then go to our hotel located in Nagasaki Chinatown, where Nagasaki Lantern Festival is being held. The festival originally has started to celebrate Chinese New Year by Chinese people living in Nagasaki. The town will be illuminated by 15,000 beautiful lanterns, and the streets are blanketed with fiery scarlets and blazing yellows. We will also enjoy Erhu (Chinese two stringed instrument) performance, Chinese Acrobatic Show and more at festival site.

MARCH 05(THU) SASEBO HOTEL OKURA JR HUIS TEN BOSCH (ONSEN) ♨
Visit Nagasaki Peace Park, which commemorates the city’s destruction by the Atomic bomb which was dropped on Aug. 09, 1945. In the park there is the massive Peace Statue and various other statues which promote and urge the concept of World Peace. We also visit Atomic Bomb Museum. Later proceed to HUIS TEN BOSCH, a unique theme park recreates a medieval 17th century Dutch town. Entire park is filled with real size copies of old Dutch buildings and windmills which make you feel as if you are in the Netherlands. Admission ticket is paid for you to enjoy your favorite attraction such as Horizon Adventure Plus, a theater where you can experience violent floods from Holland’s history with dynamic sound and lighting. And there are many exciting amusements in the park. You also enjoy leisurely stroll along streets lined with flowers and greenery. Our hotel is located in front of HUIS TEN BOSCH, with a Hot spring bath and Open air bath to relax and refresh. After dinner go to see the Kingdom of Lights Festival. 10 million lights of illumination called the World’s Greatest Light Festival. It is so brilliant and amazing scenery in the night.

MARCH 06 (FRI) KUMAMOTO HOTEL NIKKO KUMAMOTO
Head to Arita, famous throughout Japan for its pottery, which dates back 400 years. Visit Arita Porcelain Park, a porcelain related theme park with a large reconstruction of the German Palace. Later visit Yokan Shop in Ogi. Yokan is one of the traditional sweets representing Japan. (A thick jellied dessert made of red bean paste) Ogi Yokan is highly regarded and a popular brand. You can sample Ogi Yokan and purchase it too. Then go to Ushinoo Bairin (Ume Forest) known as the best Ume flower viewing area with 13,000 Ume Trees. Later proceed to Kumamoto, old castle town blessed with an abundance of nature. Our hotel is located in the center of the city, and near department stores and shopping mall. After hotel check in, enjoy “holo holo” near the hotel.

MARCH 07 (SAT) KAGOSHIMA KAGOSHIMA SUN ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Visit Suizenji Park, a spacious Japanese style landscape garden registered as a National historic site of scenic beauty. It features a crystal clear pond and magnificent pine trees. Enjoy strolling along a circular path one can enjoy changing scenery. It will be the season that Ume flower bloom in the garden. (Depending on the climate) Later proceed to Hitoyoshi, a 700 year old castle town called small Kyoto in Kyushu. And visit Craft Park. You can enjoy painting your own Flower box which is traditional handicraft in this area. Then go to Kagoshima city and our hotel, which is a modern city hotel facing Sakurajima Island, the symbol of Kagoshima. Relax in the Hot Spring bath while viewing Sakurajima island.

MARCH 08 (SUN) AOSHIMA ANA HOLIDAY INN RESORT MIYAZAKI (ONSEN) ♨
Drive up to Mt, Shiroyama Park. Nice view of Kagoshima City, Kinko Bay and Sakurajima island from the observatory. On the way, drive by many historical sites like the cave where Saigo Takamori committed suicide. Then visit Senganen Garden, which constructed in 1658 and designated as Special National scenic beauty. The garden is made with refined taste, using Kinko bay to resemble the pond and Sakurajima as the miniature mountain of the garden. Ume flower and Kanhi Sakura (early blooming cherry blossoms) should be blooming in the garden. Later catch a Ferry (15 minutes) to land on Sakurajima Island, one of the world’s greatest active volcanoes. You can feel the power of the active volcano spewing smoke up close. Later proceed to Miyazaki city and our hotel, which is popular resort overlooking the Hyuganada sea. Soak and relax in Onsen hot spring bath and Open air Onsen bath with beautiful ocean view.

MARCH 09(MON) NOBEOKA HOTEL MERIGE NOBEOKA
Enjoy driving beautiful Horikiri Pass, one of the best observation roads commanding the view of the Hyuganada sea. If timing is right, Cherry blossoms are blooming along the road. Visit Aoshima Island with unusual wavy rock formation called Oni no Sentakuita (the ogre’s washboard) draw stripe patterns which show up at low tide. It is designated as a National Special natural Monument. Later visit Florante Miyazaki, a botanical park where seasonal blooms and beautifully green can be enjoyed all year round. Enjoy strolling through beautiful gardens designed by well known designers. Later go to Hyuga Cape with many exposed rocks facing beautiful Hyuganada sea. Umagase at the tip of the cape is a precipitous cliff of pillar-like rocks, towering 230ft high and commands excellent view of waves below breaking against rocks.

MARCH 10 (TUE) BEPPU BEPPUWAN ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Head to Usuki to see its National Treasure Stone Buddha Carvings. The largest-scale rock Buddha figures carved during 12th century to 14th century. Its scale, number and high quality are representing Japanese piety. Later head to Beppu, known as Onsen (hot springs) capital of Japan in the number of sources and the variety of chemical properties. Enjoy some of Beppu Jigoku “Hell of Boiling Spring” tour Spectacular hot springs for viewing rather than bathing. Visit Chinoike Jigoku (blood pond hell) features a pond of hot, blood-red water. This awesome pond take it formidable color from red clay that dissolves in the natural hot spring water. And visit Umi Jigoku (Sea hell). One of the most beautiful hells features a pond of boiling, turquoise blue water that resembles the sea. Its waters are 394 ft deep and 208F hot. We will stay at Onsen resort hotel facing the scenic Beppu Bay. Enjoy Hot Spring bath & Roten buro of famous Beppu hot spring.

MARCH 11 (WED) KOKURA RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL KOKURA
Visit African Safari Park, the largest Safari park zoo in Japan located in expansive Ajimu Steppe with 70 species, 1,400 animals. You can observe the large animals live freely. Enjoy exciting African Safari experience in Japan. Later go to Ao-no Domon (literary meaning Blue tunnel) One of the most famous tourist attractions in Kyushu. One Buddhist monk in Edo era had dug this 600ft tunnel by hand. It took 30 years to complete. Then go to our hotel close to station and its shopping area. Upon arrival at hotel free time to enjoy shopping or just rest.

MARCH 12 (THU) KOKURA RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL KOKURA
Cross Kanmon Straits to get to Shimonoseki (Yamaguchi prefecture) known as the scene of an ancient battle leading to the fall of the Heike clan (in 1185) and fight between Musashi Miyamoto and Kojiro Sasaki (in 1612). Visit famous Karato fish market for shopping of Dried seafoods, tsukemono, etc., This market is known for Balloon fish (fugu). Enjoy shopping with lively atmosphere. After go shopping and lunch at AEON shopping center, then go back to the hotel. (Lunch and Dinner will be your own expense)

MARCH 13 (FRI) HONOLULU
At check out time we will come around to tape and tie up the boxes and take the baggage to be checked-in. In the afternoon proceed to Fukuoka Airport to catch Japan airlines flight to Nagoya or Narita Airport. Then catch International flight to Honolulu arriving the same morning March 13, 2015 (FRIDAY)). After clearing U.S. Customs proceed home. (Lunch and Dinner will be your own expense)
