JUNE 30(TUE) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight.  Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight.  FREE MOVIES and DRINKS.

JULY 1(WED) NARITA/SHIN URAYASU, CHIBA        ORIENTAL HOTEL TOKYO BAY
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport and after clearing government formalities, by bus to the hotel in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture. Hotel is located within easy walking distance to Shin Urayasu Station and Big Shopping Complex, with Supermarket, ¥100 Yen Shop etc.  After hotel check-in your tour guide will take you to the shopping area where you can enjoy shopping before and after dinner.

JULY 2(THU) SHIN URAYASU        ORIENTAL HOTEL TOKYO BAY
We will visit “Tokyo Sky Tree” the novel sightseeing spot (opened in May of 2012) in Tokyo. Boasting a height of 2,080 ft., the tower becomes world’s tallest broadcast tower and New Landmark of Tokyo. Its observation decks offer spectacular views out over Tokyo and the "Highest Observation Deck in Japan and One of the Highest in the World". Then proceed to Asakusa, the heart of the old downtown (Shitamachi) Tokyo and visit its main attraction Sensoji Temple, preserving the spirit of the capital’s past.  You can still glimpse traces of the Edo Period (1603-1868) when you walk around. You can also enjoy shopping at the Nakamise Shopping Street with a variety of traditional local snacks and tourist souvenirs. Later head to Ueno in Central Tokyo to visit "Japan’s Largest Science Museum" the National Museum of Nature and Science. See an outstanding, curiosity-inspiring exhibit exploring the animal, plant kingdom and prehistoric world.  The impressive collection of dinosaur displays, are worth seeing.  After going back to the hotel, enjoy shopping or just rest.  This hotel has a shuttle bus (15 minutes) to the Tokyo Disney Resort.  It is very convenient to visit Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo Disney Sea.  For those who want to, your guide will give you information.  (All Costs for going to Tokyo Disney Resort (Entrance Fee, etc.) are “At Your Own Expense”.       

JULY 3(FRI) RUSUTSU        RUSUTSU RESORT HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨  
 In the morning, catch a Domestic Flight from Haneda Airport to Chitose Airport in Hokkaido.  Hokkaido has a cooler climate and makes it a very popular tourist destination in July.  On arrival in Hokkaido, go to Shiraoi Ainu Village.  Ainu are the Aborigines of Hokkaido.  Ainu culture and lifestyle is shown in an outdoor reproduction of the Ainu Village.  We will see their traditional dance and singing that are designated as an "Important National Intangible Cultural Property".   Later go to Rusutsu, "One of Japan's Most Popular Resort Areas".  We will stay at an award winning resort hotel situated at the base of Mt. Yotei which is called "Mt. Fuji in Hokkaido".  This hotel has lots of souvenir shops, amusements and an "Onsen Hot Spring Bath".  You can also enjoy a “Big Buffet Dinner” with “Crab, Grilled Seafood, Tempura, Steak, etc.” made using lots of ingredients from Hokkaido.       

JULY 4(SAT) OTARU        GRAND PARK OTARU
In the morning visit Kyogoku Water Park located at the foot of spectacular Mt. Yotei.  A beautiful river runs through the park and there is a spout that dispenses water from Mt. Yotei.  Get a refreshing taste of "One of the Top 100 Purest Spring Waters in Japan"!  Also have fun “Picking and Tasting Japanese Cherries in Season”.  {If we cannot do “Cherry Picking” due to seasonal conditions, we will enjoy picking another kind of fruit}.   Later proceed to Otaru “One of the Popular Cities for Sightseeing in Hokkaido”.  Otaru was an economic entrance from foreign countries in the late 19th Century.  The city still creates an atmosphere of olden days with many western style buildings that makes it "One of the Most Picturesque Japanese Cities".  We will visit the Herring Mansion.  The Herring Fishing Industry had a major role in the History of Otaru.  This large mansion was built for wealthy fishermen.  The power and wealth of the fishermen during the height of the Herring Era is reflected in this historic residence.  Then proceed to our Five-Star Hotel overseeing breathtaking Ishikari Bay and connected to a Big Shopping Complex with Supermarket, Home Center, ¥100 Yen Shop, etc.  After hotel check in, Free Time to “Holo –Holo” and Shop Around.   

JULY 5(SUN) OTARU        GRAND PARK OTARU 
Go to see the Hokkai Soran Festival, an annual festival held in Yoichi.  Yoichi is the birth place of the famous “Soran-bushi” folk song.  This festival features dancing, drum performance and delicious food stalls, etc. Later return to Otaru and enjoy strolling around Sakaimachi, an attractively preserved merchant street with the "Best Otaru has to Offer"!  Visit the Otaru Glassware Store, another "Trademark of Otaru", with the brilliant and delicate glass objects creating a refreshing atmosphere.  Here you can purchase the popular "Dripless Shoyu Bottle" made of Otaru glass. Also visit the Music Box Museum carrying a large collection of beautiful and intricate music boxes which can be purchased.  For those who wish to, we will take you to Tanaka Sake Brewery, "Oldest Sake Brewery in Otaru" and keeps the tradition of using Hokkaido rice for their products.  Later go back to the hotel and enjoy shopping before and after dinner!

JULY 6(MON) BIEI         HOTEL PARK HILLS (ONSEN) ♨
Head to Iwamizawa and visit the Rose Garden with 490 kinds of Roses blooming (If Timing is Right).  This garden is a "maximum rosary in Hokkaido". On a clear day, it will be pleasant to stroll around the "Big Rose Garden".  Later, enjoy driving on the highway while viewing vast spread out green fields along the way.  Stop at Sunagawa Highway Oasis, a big shopping area where you can purchase delicious local Hokkaido specialties.  Then proceed to Biei regarded as "One of the best sightseeing spots in Hokkaido" and known for its pleasant and picturesque rural landscapes created by hills with various sizes of fields.  One of the highlights is a view of "Patchwork Hill", a hillside covered with various colors of shrubbery.  The perfectly balanced colors change gradually from the season of fresh verdure to the time of harvest.  Then go to our hotel located in Shirogane Hot Spring Town.  Upon arrival at the hotel, we will take you to see the beautiful waterfall and emerald green river near the hotel.  Good chance to Relax and Refresh in the “Hot Spring Bath” and “Open Air Bath”(Rotenburo)       

JULY 7(TUE) SAHORO        SAHORO RESORT
In the morning visit Shikisai Flower Garden, a panoramic flower garden where you can leap into the grand nature of Hokkaido.  You can enjoy the colors and fragrance of several dozen different flowers that carpet the hill. Then proceed to Furano, a highly recommended sightseeing spot in July because of its breathtaking Lavender Flowers in bloom.  We will make a photo stop at Farm Tomita (Field of Lavenders), the "Best Lavender Viewing Place in Hokkaido".  Enjoy a spectacular view of the magnificent “Purple Carpet” Lavender Fields with Mt. Daisetsu and Tokachi Mountain Ranges as a backdrop.  Later visit Furano Winery to “enjoy tasting local Furano Wine”.  This winery also has its own Lavender Field.  This night's accommodation is a nice resort hotel surrounded by the hush of nature. You can enjoy a Big Public Bath and Open Air Bath (Sorry! Not an Onsen Hot Spring).  Good chance to enjoy a peaceful walk around the hotel in the morning.

JULY 8(WED) SAHORO / SAPPORO        ANA HOTEL SAPPORO
In the morning visit Bear Mountain where you will get a chance to see the Brown Bear, the "Largest Land Animal in Japan". You will be able to safely see them living in a real forest from a close distance.  At the central observation point big glass windows allow humans and bears to eyeball each other.  It will surely give you an exciting experience! Later visit beautiful Yuni Garden, "Japan’s Biggest English Style Garden" filled with a variety of flowers in season.  If timing is right, we will see Rose, Linaria, Lily, etc. while walking around the huge garden.  The store at this garden carries original jams, herb teas, pickles, local souvenirs etc.  Later proceed to the "Largest City in Hokkaido", Sapporo.  Drive by the "Symbol of Sapporo", the famous “Clock Tower” on the way to the hotel located within easy walking distance to the Department Store, Sapporo Station with its Underground Shopping Mall, etc.  After hotel check in your guide will take you to “Holo-Holo” around the Station Area.  Our "Farewell Dinner" will be a "Japanese Kaiseki Dinner".

JULY 9(THU) SAPPORO                                                                  ANA HOTEL SAPPORO 
Go to the Sapporo Central Wholesale Market which is a popular spot for local people as well as Japanese tourists. You can buy Dried Sea Foods, Local Hokkaido Specialties, etc. “at wholesale prices”.  Also stop at the Big AEON Shopping Center for Shopping and Lunch before going back to the hotel.  UPON ARRIVAL AT THE HOTEL, “FREE TIME” TO FINISH SHOPPING, PACKING, ETC. Your rooms are paid for, but meals (LUNCH & DINNER) will be “At Your Own Expense” to let you eat your favorite foods before returning home.  We will give everyone a carton box to use for packing their gifts.  (2 Pieces Per Person Baggage allowance).  Any excess will be paid for by the member.    

JULY 10(FRI) HONOLULU                        {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}  
LUNCH will be At Your Own Expense, and DINNER will be served on the flight back to Honolulu.  At checkout time, our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down.  In the afternoon proceed to Chitose Airport to catch a Domestic Flight to Narita, Osaka or Nagoya Int’l Airport and transfer to a Japan Airlines International Flight to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, JULY 10, 2015 (FRIDAY).  After clearing U.S. Customs, proceed home.  THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR JOINING TOHOKU TRAVEL’S MAGNIFICENT NATURE IN HOKKAIDO WITH TOKYO SKY TREE TOUR #11!  Clients remaining back will be assisted in obtaining train, plane and hotel reservations.  Members may return to Honolulu individually, but no later than 3 months from day of departure.  Weekend returns will cost more per person.  Please call our office for more details if you are extending your stay in Japan.

ESTIMATED AIRFARE :  AIRFARE COULD COST MORE OR LESS AT TIME OF TICKET PURCHASE WITH LAND TOUR .
{$225.00 Cancellation Fee charged by the airlines.}  Minimum stay is 3-Days and maximum stay is 3 Months.  
INCLUDES:  All transportation included in the itinerary, all hotel accommodations, meals and all sightseeing listed, all transfer of passenger and baggage, souvenir picture and tour tax.  Roundtrip air transportation by Economy Jet.  
DOES NOT INCLUDE:  Individual expenses after termination of tour as stated in itinerary.  Also, wine, liquor, mineral water, laundry and other items of personal nature, cost of obtaining passport and visa or other necessary documents.
BAGGAGE:  Limited to (1) piece, 50 lbs. and (1) hand-carry.
RESPONSIBILITY:  The tour organizer or any travel agencies involved, act only as agents for the passengers in regards to travel, sightseeing, hotel and meal arrangements, and other tour services. The organizer/agency will accept no responsibility or liability in respect of either person or property for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity, however, occasioned, sustained, or suffered in or during any journey, trip, or tour, or in carrying out of any arrangements booked by or through it.  
If the agency becomes aware that a passenger has a special chronic health problem, the agency shall ensure that it is provided with a letter from the passenger’s personal physician stating the nature of such health problem and certifying that the passenger is physically fit to participate in the tour.  Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the tour.  Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members.  However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.  
Baggage’s are at owner’s own risk.  The right is reserved to make any necessary changes in tour if deemed advisable.  
Also, the airlines and other transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their carriers concerned.  The airline ticket and passage contract in use by the airlines concerned when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of the tour and/or passenger.
