JUN 23 (TUE) HONOLULU                                                                                                                        
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight.  Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight.  FREE Movies and Drinks.

JUN 24 (WED) OSAKA         SHERATON MIYAKO HOTEL OSAKA
Arrive at Kansai Int’l Airport or Itami Airport (by connecting flight) and after clearing government formalities, by bus to the hotel in Osaka, central city of west Japan and the biggest city in the Kansai Region.  Hotel is located next to Uehonmachi Station and the Department Store. 

JUN 25 (THU) OSAKA        SHERATON MIYAKO HOTEL OSAKA 
Head to Sakai an attractive city in Osaka with a variety of history and traditions.  Visit the Sakai Traditional Industry Hall with exhibits pertaining mainly to the 600 year old Sakai Cutlery.  Even today 90% of all professionally used kitchen knives are made in Sakai. It is a good chance to buy "knives that the Japanese Chefs use".  Later visit the Osaka Museum of History, dedicated to the "History of Osaka" from ancient to modern times.  You will be taken on a "Short Journey of Osaka's History" with several full scale replicas of such items as a Nara Period Style Vermillion Pillar.  You can get a great view of Osaka Castle and the surrounding area from the upper floors.  Later enjoy strolling on Doguyasuji Street lined with specialty stores for cooking utensils and kitchen items for professional chefs and food experts.  You can find countless selective and professional-use tools here.  Proceed back to the hotel and enjoy shopping in the surrounding area or just rest. For those who wish to, we will take you to the Senba Wholesale Building, containing a "Massive Wholesale District" within the building with stores selling textile and garment products.         

JUN 26  (FRI) KYOTO        NEW MIYAKO HOTEL KYOTO 
Head to Kyoto, an ancient capital of Japan with a 1200 year history and carries a reputation as "The Most Beautiful City in Japan".  Upon arrival, have fun riding on the Sagano Scenic Railway known for its charming and old fashion "Torokko Train". This train is open windowed, giving you a nice breeze while viewing the beautiful flowing river and forested ravine during the ride.  Later visit the Kyoto Museum of Traditional Crafts featuring a fantastic exhibit of nearly every traditional handicraft in Kyoto.  Here, you can "try your hand at painting your own tote bag using the traditional Yuzen dyeing technique".  Kyoto is famous for its textile tradition.  Nishijin Embroidery is particularly famous with a "history going back some 1,200 years".  These gorgeous weaves are recently used for bags, table-runners, cushion covers, etc. not only Obi Sash for Kimono.  Then go to the hotel located in front of Kyoto Station and close to the AEON Shopping Complex including UNIQLO, ¥100 Yen Shop, etc.  After hotel check in your tour guide will take you to "Holo-Holo" around the hotel.            

JUN 27 (SAT) KYOTO        NEW MIYAKO HOTEL KYOTO 
All Day Kyoto City Tour!  In the morning, visit World Heritage Site "Kiyomizu Temple", "One of Japan's Most Celebrated Temples" founded in 780.  The National Treasure "Main Hall" is noted for its beautiful background scenery of Kyoto City.  Enjoy strolling through the approach to the temple with many shops carrying local specialties including the famous Kiyomizu Pottery.  After a "Healthy Kyoto Obanzai Dish Lunch", enjoy shopping at the Kyoto Handicraft Center carrying Kyoto's beautiful and skillfully made handicrafts and specialty goods, etc.  Then visit the Yatsuhashi Factory.  Yatsuhashi is a traditional Japanese confectionary rated as "Kyoto's Most Famous Souvenir".  We will "Try Making Nama Yatsuhashi" {a soft, mochi like texture dough wrapped around red bean paste (Anko)}.  You can make it with different flavors.  Later we will take {Those Who Wish To} to "Nishiki Market" by subway {Optional}. This lively market is called "Kyoto's Kitchen" and specializes in all essential ingredients and seasonal foods for "Kyoto Cuisine".  See the unique food culture of Kyoto.      

JUN 28 (SUN) YOKKAICHI        YOKKAICHI MIYAKO HOTEL 
Visit Kamigamo Shrine where a monthly "Open Air Craft Market" is held.  The market is really pleasant offering a wide selection of handmade jewelry, clothes, ornaments and some interesting foods and beverages.  The stalls are likewise spread over a wide area in the shrine grounds.  You can also visit beautifully preserved Shrine Buildings designated as "World Heritage".  Then proceed to Shigaraki Tanuki (Raccoon Dog) Village, home of the famous Shigaraki Pottery, "One of the Six Oldest Potteries in Japan", with a 750 year history.  The main feature is Raccoon Dog Pottery which is considered to promise you success in business and protection from accident.  Then go to the Iga Kumihimo (Braiding) Museum.  It is a traditional braiding handicraft and local specialty product in Iga.  You will learn more about the traditional skills of braiding handicrafts and see the beautiful and delicate hand-made braiding that can be purchased. Then go to the hotel connected to a Shopping Center with Supermarket, Craft Shop, ¥100 Yen Shop, etc. Enjoy shopping after hotel check in.   

JUN 29 (MON) GIFU        GIFU MIYAKO HOTEL 
Visit the Nabana-no-Sato Flower Park an immense flower garden creating beautiful harmony between abundant nature and rich facilities.  Enjoy strolling in the garden where Rose, Hydrangea and Iris will be in bloom around this season {Depending on Climate of the Year}.  Next go to Mino renowned for "Traditional Japanese Washi Paper" and beautiful old town streets from the early Edo Period (1603-1868).  Stroll along preserved Edo Period houses in the Udatsu no Agaru Historic District which is considered "One of the Best in Japan".  Later go to Seki, a well known "Blade Producing Area" with a "750 year tradition".  Visit the Sword Tradition Museum to see the "Method of Sword Smith" with displays and a collection of Samurai swords and knives.  Also get a chance to enjoy shopping for high quality tools made in Seki.  Also visit the Ukai (Cormorant Fishing) Museum exhibiting information with panels, movie, etc. about "Ukai Cormorant Fishing", a traditional fishing method that has been passed down for over 1,300 years.  You can learn more about this major cultural tradition that represents Japan.  Then go to our excellent hotel located in front of Nagara River.  In the evening we will enjoy watching real "Ukai Cormorant Fishing" on the river from the Yakata Boat (1 hour ride).  Fishermen work together with trained cormorants to catch fish using torches in the pitch black darkness.  Enjoy a "World of Delicate Beauty in Japanese Tradition".         

JUN 30 (TUE) NAGOYA        ANA CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL GRAND COURT NAGOYA
Proceed to Seto celebrating Japan's rich "Tradition in Ceramic Production" with a long history since the 11th century.  Visit the Aichi Prefectural Ceramic Museum.  Valuable cultural properties related to ceramics made in Aichi are on display.  Later proceed to Nagoya, Japan's 4th largest city.  Visit the Arimatsu Old Town an old post station in the Edo Period where many of the original merchant houses have been preserved.  Also visit the Shibori Tie-Dyeing Museum.  Intricate Shibori dyeing is used to produce colorful designs of kimono fabric, etc.  We will see a demonstration and an interesting video in English that shows you the dyeing process.  Also enjoy shopping for kimono, fabrics, aprons, bags, etc. at the shop.  We will have a brief stop at Noritake-no-Mori.  Noritake is the world famous tableware brand established in Nagoya in 1904.  Visit their factory outlet to enjoy shopping before going to our hotel close to the train station and its shopping area where you can enjoy shopping before and after dinner.  We will take those who wish to, to a "Big Fabric Store" occupying B1Floor to the 4th Floor of a building.   

JUL 1(WED) YAIZU        YAIZU GRAND HOTEL (ONSEN)♨ 
In the morning we will visit Gamagori Orange Park and "Taste a Piece of Melon" in season. Later go to the Shiseido Corporate Museum offering Japanese cosmetic culture and history with displays of a variety of rare and interesting materials including Shiseido's makeup products, promotional items, Edo Era makeup kits, etc.  Then go to Makinohara Japanese Tea Garden to see the process of tea production.  Shizuoka is Japan's "No. 1 Producer of Green Tea".  We will have a lesson on how to make "Oishii" green tea and enjoy shopping at their direct merchant shop.  Later go to the resort hotel located on the edge of a cliff overlooking beautiful Suruga Bay and Mt. Fuji (If the Weather is Right).  Enjoy the Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath.  Private Bath is available (At Your Own Expense). 

JUL 2 (THU) SHIBUYA        SHIBUYA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Go to Numazu Deep Sea Aquarium featuring the deep sea creatures in Japan, fishes from Suruga Bay and rare creatures from other countries such as Coelacanth which is rare to see.  Then proceed to Tokyo.  For those who wish to, we will take you to Nippori Fabric Town, known as the "Center of Wholesale Fabric Stores".  Over 100 fabric shops carrying a large variety of fabrics ranging from silks to leather and specialized sewing equipment like threads, ribbons, buttons, etc.  Our hotel is located adjacent to Shibuya Station a popular Shopping District and Entertainment Center in Tokyo and within easy walking distance to TOA Craft Shop.  After hotel check in tour guide will take you to the shopping area near the hotel.  

JUL 3 (FRI) SHIBUYA        SHIBUYA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Head to Kawagoe, called "Koedo" (Small Edo) because the town has retained the history, culture and atmosphere of the Edo Era (17th - 19th Century).  Enjoy browsing around and shopping at Kurazukuri Street with old storehouse merchant houses on both sides of the street.  We also get a chance to visit a small alley. "Kashiya Yokocho (Candy Alley)" carrying snacks made of sweet potato, etc.  Then visit Kawagoe Festival Museum with a display of the huge festival float and watch a short movie of the Kawagoe Festival. Later enjoy shopping and lunch at the AEON Shopping Center before going back to Tokyo.  Upon arrival at the hotel it will be "FREE TIME" TO FINISH SHOPPING, PACKING ETC.  Your rooms are paid for, but meals (LUNCH & DINNER) will be at your own expense to let you eat your favorite food before returning home. For those who wish to, we will take you to Asakusabashi, a historic wholesale district dealing with Japanese traditional dolls, stationary, decorations, jewelry accessories like necklaces, bangles, rings, etc.                                                

JUL 4 (SAT) HONOLULU                  {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}
At check-out time we will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down.  Later proceed to Narita Airport to catch flight in the evening to Honolulu, Arrive in Honolulu the same morning JULY 4, 2015 (SATURDAY).  After clearing U.S. Customs proceed home.

TOUR CONDITIONS
AIR TRANSPORTATION:  AIRFARE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND MAY BE CHEAPER AT TIME OF PURCHASE.
Minimum stay is 3-Days and maximum stay is 3 Months.  $225.00 Cancellation Fee.  
INCLUDES:  All transportation included in the itinerary, all hotel accommodations, meals and all sightseeing listed, all transfer of passenger and baggage, souvenir picture and tour tax.  Roundtrip air transportation by Economy Jet.  
DOES NOT INCLUDE:  Individual expenses after termination of tour as stated in itinerary.  Also, wine, liquor, mineral water, laundry and other items of personal nature, cost of obtaining passport and visa or other necessary documents.
BAGGAGE:  Limited to (1) pieces and (1) hand-carry.
RESPONSIBILITY:  The tour organizer or any travel agencies involved, act only as agents for the passengers in regards to travel, sightseeing, hotel and meal arrangements, and other tour services. The organizer/agency will accept no responsibility or liability in respect of either person or property for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity, however, occasioned, sustained, or suffered in or during any journey, trip, or tour, or in carrying out of any arrangements booked by or through it.  
If the agency becomes aware that a passenger has a special chronic health problem, the agency shall ensure that it is provided with a letter from the passenger’s personal physician stating the nature of such health problem and certifying that the passenger is physically fit to participate in the tour.  Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the tour.  Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members.  However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.  
Baggage’s are at owner’s own risk.  The right is reserved to make any necessary changes in tour if deemed advisable.  Also, the airlines and other transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their carriers concerned.  The airline ticket and passage contract in use by the airlines concerned when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of the tour and/or passenger.  The services of any IATA Carrier will be used as required.  THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
