Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES & DRINKS.

OCT. 3 (SAT) TOMAKOMAI GRAND HOTEL NEW OJI
Arrive at Narita International Airport, and after Government entry formalities, transfer to your connecting flight to Chitose Airport in Hokkaido. Upon arrival, go directly to our hotel in Tomakomai City.

OCT. 4 (SUN) MT. ASAHIDAKE ASAHIDAKE MANSEIKAKU HOTEL BEARMONTE (ONSEN) ♨
Go to Yuni Garden, Japan's Largest English Style Garden with 13 gardens and squares filled with a variety of seasonal flowers in bloom. Cosmos, Rose, Japanese Anemone, etc., should be blooming this time of season. Enjoy browsing around the huge garden and feel the vastness of Hokkaido. Then go to Furano, an attractive destination known for its pleasant and picturesque rural landscapes. Visit Farm Tomita to see Marigold and Salvia which should be in season to bloom. Enjoy the magnificent view of the huge field that looks as if covered by a colorful carpet. Our hotel is located halfway up to Mt. Asahidake an altitude of 3,600 feet and surrounded by glorious mountain scenery. Soak and Relax in the Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Roten-Buro Bath. {A Private Onsen Bath is also available "At Your Own Expense"}.

OCT. 5 (MON) SOUNKYO GORGE CHOYO RESORT HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning catch the Asahidake Ropeway to go up to the 5th Station of Mt. Asahidake (5,250 Ft. High). Enjoy a superb view of great nature in the highest mountain in Hokkaido with magnificent Autumn color that is the earliest Autumn color change in Japan. Then go to Asahikawa, 2nd largest city in Hokkaido. Visit Asahiyama Zoo, a very popular zoological garden which draws the highest number of visitors because of its unique viewing facilities in observing the amazing abilities of animals in an environment of wilderness which is designed to be as close to their natural habitat as possible. Many of which are unique to Asahiyama Zoo. 137 species of animals can be seen including Polar Bear, Wolf, etc. Later enjoy shopping at the AEON Shopping Center before going to Sounkyo Gorge in the center of Daisetsuzan National Park. Our hotel is located at the foot of Mt. Daisetsu. Magnificent views can be seen from your room. Enjoy Soaking and Relaxing in the Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Roten-Buro Bath filled with white water.

OCT. 6 (TUE) LAKE SAROMA LAKE SAROMA TSURUGA RESORT (ONSEN) ♨
Enjoy driving along Sounkyo Gorge a giant gorge consisting of 300 Ft. cliffs stretching over 15 Miles. We will view the unusual rock formations and the gorge should be filled with Autumn Color since "The Timing to Be Right". Visit the highlight "Ryusei (Shooting Star) and Ginga (Galaxy) Water Fall". The water falls directly over the 390 Ft. high cliff, giving you a sense of the power of nature. Go to the Fresh Water Aquarium a newly popular tourist attraction in Hokkaido. It is amazing to see Japan's biggest fresh water fish "Ito" (Japanese Huchen) swimming and forming groups. Its Basin Water Tank is "Japan's First Water Dome Tank" where you can see the world under the waterfall. Then proceed to Lake Saroma known for a beautiful sunset and the water of the lake called "Saroma Blue". Our accommodation is a nice resort hotel on the picturesque shores of the lake. Enjoy a delicious Buffet Dinner featuring local seafood, etc. Soak and Relax in another Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath with a beautiful lake view.

OCT. 7 (WED) LAKE SAROMA LAKE SAROMA TSURUGA RESORT (ONSEN) ♨
Head to Maruseppu known for its rich resources of timbers. Try riding on the Steam Locomotive "Forest Railway Amamiya No. 21" which was actually used between 1929 and 1958 to load timber and designated as a "Heritage of Industrial Modernization". Enjoy a peaceful ride through a forest park surrounded by the natural beauty of nature in Hokkaido. Later visit Mokugeikan Craft Center to enjoy shopping for their original wooden products made in this town including cutting boards, ladles, cups, etc. Then go to Tokoro Iseki-no Yakata Ruins, the internationally valuable ruins where many remains of pit dwellings dating back as far as 4,000 years were found. We will see artifacts and a reconstructed dugout exhibited. These ruins tell us how the ancient people lived in this area. Then go back to Lake Saroma.

OCT. 8 (THU) SHIRETOKO HOTEL SHIRETOKO (ONSEN) ♨
Go to Abashiri Prison Museum to learn about the Socio-political History of Japan. This prison was constructed in the 1890s to hold one thousand notorious criminals. The daily life of the prisoners can be seen in the buildings and structures of the old prison. Then go to a "World Natural Heritage Site" Shiretoko Peninsula, considered to be the "Last Pristine Wilderness remaining in Japan". Visit Oshin-Koshin Waterfalls, chosen as “One of Japan’s Best 100 Waterfalls”. Get a close-up view of this spectacular waterfall. Also visit the Shiretoko 5 Lakes small, quiet, picturesque lakes surrounded by wild forest. It is a great place to experience Shiretoko’s unspoiled nature in an easy walk. Our hotel is a "Huge Onsen Resort" located in Utoro Hot Spring Town. Enjoy the Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Roten-Buro Bath.

OCT. 9 (FRI) LAKE AKAN TSURUGA RESORT HANAYUKA (ONSEN) ♨
Drive up to beautiful Shiretoko Pass to get to the Rausu side of Shiretoko Peninsula where Kunashiri Island (Russian Held Island) can be seen on a clear day. It is expected that the pass will be filled with beautiful Autumn Color. It offers a magnificent journey through the outstanding Autumn Foliage. Then to the Salmon Science Museum, which contains more than 20 kinds of salmon from all over the world. This is the right season that the salmon come back from the ocean to the river to lay eggs. We will see the Salmon swimming in the river. Later go to Lake Akan and our excellent Onsen Hotel located lakeside. After dinner, the Marimo (Algae) Festival will be going on at the lake side right behind the hotel. Ainu people (Aborigine of Hokkaido) will be parading with torches in their hand. If you wish to your tour guide will take you to see the Ainu Dance & Ritual Show a "National Important Cultural Property" at a theater by bus. Soak and Relax in the Onsen Hot Spring Bath.

OCT. 10 (SAT) OBIHIRO HOTEL NIKKO NORTH LAND OBIHIRO
Enjoy a Sightseeing Cruise on Lake Akan. See the unspoiled primitive forest that shows natural beauty with Autumn Color (Expected to be Right Timing). Next stop at Lake Onneto, called "One of the Three Great Secret Lakes in Hokkaido" because the water of the lake beautifully changes its color from emerald green to dark blue depending on the weather. See the natural beauty of this mysterious lake with Autumn Color. Then visit the Ashoro Museum of Paleontology to see an exhibit of fossils and dinosaur skeletons including "Ashoroa" which was excavated in 1976. Enjoy shopping at Okame-do Beans Shop carrying local beans, Ama-natto (beans covered with refined sugar), flavored dried beans, etc. Enjoy shopping for the famous Tokachi Beans! Our hotel is located right next to Obihiro Station and its Shopping Building. Also within easy walking distance to the Supermarket where you can enjoy shopping after hotel check in.

OCT. 11 (SUN) OBIHIRO HOTEL NIKKO NORTH LAND OBIHIRO
In the morning, enjoy a peaceful walk through Manabe Garden, a beautiful garden with a mixture of Japanese and European Style. It will be the right time of season to see beautiful Autumn Color. Immerse yourself in extraordinary beauty while strolling through this delightful garden. Later visit Boya Farm to see the “Sheep Dog Show”. This farm is the “Biggest Sheep Farm in Japan”. Enjoy an impressive working sheep dog demonstration in the vast farmland. Also stop at Ryugetsu Sweet Pia Garden to sample and purchase "One of the Most Popular Souvenirs in Obihiro" “Sanporoku” a type of Baumkuchen (German Style Role Cake) a kind of layered cake covered with chocolate.

OCT. 12 (MON) KITA YUZAWA ONSEN YUMOTO DAINI MEISUITEI (ONSEN) ♨
Walk to Obihiro Station and catch an Express Train, “Super Ozora” (2 hours ride). This train is very popular for tourists who travel around Hokkaido. Upon arrival, transfer by bus to Noboribetsu to visit Date Jidai Mura, a historical theme park where you can step back in time to the Edo Period 400 years ago. The charm of ancient Japan is abundant as you mingle through the acrobatic Ninja Show and beautiful Oiran (Show Girl of the Edo Period) Show, etc. Old houses, Warehouses, Streets, etc. are built exactly as it was back in the Edo Period. Later drive on the Orofure Pass that is expected to be at the right time for Autumn Color as we go to our hotel in Kita Yuzawa Onsen. Soak and Relax in the Big Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath. Also enjoy a "Big Buffet Dinner with Fresh Sushi, Tempura, Steak, etc." in the evening.

OCT. 13 (TUE) SAPPORO SAPPORO CENTURY ROYAL HOTEL
Visit Hoheikyo Dam filled with Autumn Color (Expected to be Right Timing). This area is famous for its beautiful Autumn Color. In season the whole ravine becomes a canvas of colorful leaves. Then go to Sapporo the “Largest City in Hokkaido” and visit the Sapporo Wholesale Market to enjoy shopping for Dried Seafood, Hokkaido Konbu, Local Specialties, etc., at wholesale prices. Later visit the AEON Shopping Center for Lunch {On Your Own} and more shopping. Our hotel is located next to Sapporo Station with its Department Store and Underground Shopping Mall. After hotel check in, FREE TIME TO FINISH SHOPPING, PACKING ETC. Your room is paid for but meals (LUNCH / DINNER) will be at your own expense to let you eat your favorite foods before returning home. We will give everyone a carton box to use for packing their gifts. (2 Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance. Any excess will be paid for by the member).

OCT. 14 (WED) HONOLULU (ONLY BREAKFAST Is Included This Day / LUNCH On Your Own / DINNER On The Plane)
At check-out time, our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in. We will leave Hotel by bus to Chitose Int’l Airport to catch a domestic flight to Narita or Kansai Int’l Airport and transfer to an International Flight to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, OCTOBER 14, 2015 (WEDNESDAY). Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the tour. Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members. However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.
