Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE DRINKS and MOVIES.

JAN. 25 (MON) YOKOHAMA _ YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport and after government entry formalities, go directly to the hotel in Yokohama, 2nd largest city in Japan. Hotel is located within easy walking distance to department store, big electronics store, 100 yen shop and underground shopping mall. After hotel check in, Free time to enjoy shopping, meet relatives, friends, or just rest. Tour guide will take you “Holo Holo” around the hotel.

JAN. 26 (TUE) GOTEMBA GOTEMBA KOGEN HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Visit Yokohama Central Wholesale Market to enjoy shopping of Japanese traditional foodstuffs such as Tsukemono, Umeboshi, etc., at a wholesale price. Then head to popular Resort area “Izu Peninsula” and enjoy popular seasonal attraction in Izu “Mikan” (Tangerine) Picking, taste sweet and juicy Mikan Tangerines in season. Later visit Atami Baien garden where famous Ume flower Festival will be held this time of season. It is the site of 470 Ume (plum) trees of 60 species including over 100 year old ancient tree. If timing is eight, you will see picturesque sceneries with pink and while Ume flowers while you strolling along the pathway in the garden. Then to Gotemba that boasts beautiful Mt. Fuji views on clear day. Hotel is located at the Gotemba highlands resort complex where Winter Illumination Festival will be held. In the evening you can browse around the garden with spectacular Night Illumination featuring 4 million lights in a 1,500 ft long tunnel. Experience the fascinating display of lights that can be enjoyed only in Winter. Good chance to try the Onsen Hot Spring Bath.

JAN. 27 (WED) IMAIHAMA IMAIHAMA TOKYU RESORT (ONSEN) ♨
Head to Numazu famous for seafood from Suruga bay. Enjoy shopping at Port Area, which carries many kinds of dried seafood etc. Later enjoy tasting regional specialty in season “Strawberry Picking”. Try sweet and fresh strawberry as much as you like! Later driving through Mt. Amagi and Loop Bridge. This 147 ft high double loop bridge is landmark in this area. Then go to Inatori to see it’s beautiful Hanging Hina Doll Festival. From ancient times, the people of this area put up a pair of ornaments decorated with many kinds of dolls on both sides of the tiered stand for dolls during the Girl’s Day Festival (Hinamatsuri),with a wish for their children’s happiness. This night accommodation is a luxurious hot-spring resort hotel with a panoramic view of Sagami Bay. Soak and relax in Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Rotenburo Bath.

JAN. 28 (THU) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Visit Tsumekisaki Cape to see its Narcissus Festival. The entire cape will be filled with 3 million Narcissuses blooming with their sweet fragrance (If timing is right). Then proceed to historic port town “Shimoda” and catch Ropeway to go up to summit of Mt. Nesugata offering great panoramic view of Shimoda Port and reconstructed model of former watch house for the “Black Ship” that used to stand here. Early blooming Cherry Blossoms is expected to bloom also. Then walk to Shimoda station to catch Express train “Odoriko-go” to get to Atami while enjoying scenic view of the coast line. Upon arrival, transfer to the bus to go back to Yokohama. After hotel arrival, enjoy shopping or just rest.

JAN. 29 (FRI) NAHA HOTEL ROYAL ORION
Catch domestic flight from Haneda to Naha in Okinawa. After arrival visit the world heritage site, Shuri Castle with its Shureino Mon Gate which is familiar symbol of the unique history and culture of Okinawa. The Castle was originally built in late 1300’s and current buildings are beautiful reconstructions known as a masterpiece of Ryukyu architectures. It has become a most important historical site in Naha. Then go to the hotel located along Kokusai street, main shopping and entertainment strip in Naha city. Enjoy Holo holo after hotel check in.

JAN. 30 (SAT) NAHA HOTEL ROYAL ORION
It’s all day tour of Southern Okinawa main island. Head to Okinawa Senseki Quasi National Park (old World War II battlefield). There are 67 monuments within the park, including Himeyuri Monument (for high school girls). Reimei monument (for General Ushijima with his assistants) at Mabuni Hill, etc. Later go to Okinawa World, a theme park of Okinawan culture and one of the most popular destinations of Okinawa. Main attraction here is Gyokusendo Limestone Cave, an extensive natural limestone cave which is second largest in Japan. Enjoy walking along spectacular stalactites and stalagmites. Also you can visit nice replica of traditional Ryukyu village with traditional Okinawan style houses which were built over 100 years ago. We will get a chance to see exciting Eisa (traditional Okinawan drum dance) show. Okinawa’s heroic dance with sound of the drums will captivate you. After going back to the hotel, tour guide will take you to Makishi public market, called “Okinawa’s kitchen”. Enjoy strolling around lively market, known as one of the most fascinating markets in Japan.

JAN. 31 (SUN) ISHIGAKI ISLAND ISHIGAKI SEA SIDE HOTEL
Catch domestic flight to Ishigaki Island, the most inhabited and developed neighbor island of Okinawa. Upon arrival ride a boat (10 minutes) to Taketomi Island, a lovely island where old Traditional Village landscape and lifestyle are preserved for centuries. We will ride on Suigyusha (Buffalo Taxi) which is a carriage, pulled by Water buffalo. You will enjoy peaceful atmosphere of the island consist of white sand roads, distinctive rows of traditional red-roofed houses, etc. Later visit Star sand beach. Taketomi is one of only two islands in Japan that accumulate this “Star shape sand” formed from the shells of tiny crustaceans. Try your luck at finding your own “Star sand”. Our hotel is located in front of white sand beach. Enjoy walking on the beach and relaxing at the beautiful resort hotel in neighbor island of Okinawa.

FEB.01 (MON) ISHIGAKI ISLAND ISHIGAKI SEA SIDE HOTEL
Ride a Ferry (40 minutes) to Iriomote Island, the southernmost National Park in Japan and nearly 90 percent of the island is covered by dense jungle and Mangrove forests thus called “Galapagos in Orient” Have fun Jungle Boat Cruise to travel inland to a large Mangrove tree and enjoy abundant nature. And go across Yubu Island riding on yet slightly antiquated looking Water Buffalo Cart. This small island is separated from Irimote and the Water Buffalo pulls cart through shallow ocean. It is making for a fun experience and interesting story to tell. Then go back to Ishigaki Island and visit Minsaori Textile Museum. Minsa-ori is a traditional Okinawan handmade textile. Rimi Natsukawa who is a female singer of “Nada soso” was born in this island. Her costumes are exhibited here.

FEB. 02 (TUE) NAHA HOTEL ROYAL ORION
In the morning visit Kabira Bay considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Japan thus awarded the maximum of 3 stars sightseeing spot in Japan by French travel guidebook. Enjoy stunning scenery of lovely emerald blue water with a perfect yellow-white beach. It is praised as the most photographed sightseeing spot on the island. Then go to Ishigaki airport to catch a domestic flight to go back to Naha. In the evening enjoy Traditional Okinawa style dinner while viewing Okinawan Dance show at Yotsutake restaurant in downtown Kokusai Avenue.

FEB. 03 (WED)MOTOBU HOTEL ORION MOTOBU RESORT
Visit highlights of Northern Okinawa main island. Visit World heritage site “Nakijin Gusuku ( castle ruin of Ryukyu kingdom) for its Sakura (Cherry Blossoms) festival. Annually Cherry blooms around this season. Enjoy seeing earliest blooming Dark pink Cherry Blossoms (depending on climate) in ancient castle ruins of the 13th-15th centuries. And visit famous Churaumi Aquarium, widely considered Japan’s best Aquarium. The highlight of the Aquarium is one of the world’s largest tanks contain a wide variety of species. The most striking of which are the giant Whale sharks and Mantas. It’s astounding how massive they are. There is underwater tunnel that make you feel like you are in the ocean with the fishes. Enjoy amazing aquarium experience! We will stay at newly opened (opened in July 2014)deluxe resort hotel right across from the Emerald beach. Enjoy Okinawan resort experience with great view of Emerald Green ocean and symbolic Ikei Island that can be seen at the horizon.

FEB. 04 (THU) NAHA HOTEL ROYAL ORION
Enjoy Orion Beer factory tour. Okinawa’s major beer company founded in 1957 during the American occupation. See the process of making beer and tasting freshly brewed Okinawan beer made with Okinawan spring water. Later visit another world heritage site, Tamaudun, the Royal mausoleum for the Ryukyu kingdom built in the 1500’s. Before going back to Naha, enjoy lunch and shopping at AEON shopping center. Upon arrival at hotel, FREE TIME for shopping, packing etc. (Lunch and dinner will be your own expense)

FEB. 05 (FRI) HONOLULU {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}
At check out time, our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. Proceed to NAHA Airport by bus to catch domestic flight to Kansai or Chubu airport. Then catch a flight in the evening to Honolulu. Arrive in Honolulu the same morning on Feb. 05, 2016 (Friday) after clearing U.S. Customs proceed home. (Lunch & Dinner will be your own expense)
Clients remaining back will be assisted in obtaining train, plane and hotel reservations.
