SEPT. 17 (SAT) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Korean Airlines flight. Lunch and a snack will be served aboard the flight. Complimentary Movies and Drinks on the flight.

SEPT. 18 (SUN) INCHEON GRAND HYATT INCHEON HOTEL
Arrive at Incheon, South Korea. After clearing entry formalities at Incheon Int’l Airport, tour guide will take us to the beautiful Grand Hyatt Incheon Hotel. DINNER ON THE PLANE.

SEPT. 19 (MON) INCHEON/CHUNCHEON/SORAK SOL BEACH LA HOTEL
AMERICAN BUFFET BREAKFAST AT HOTEL. Check out and transfer to Mt. Sorak via Chuncheon city shown in the TV drama, Winter Sonata. LUNCH AT A LOCAL RESTAURANT AND BUFFET DINNER AT SOL BEACH LA HOTEL. (SORRY! NO TRIPLE ROOM AT THIS HOTEL)

SEPT. 20 (TUE) SOKCHO/SORAK SOL BEACH LA HOTEL
AMERICAN BREAKFAST AT HOTEL. Morning tour around the Sorak National Park including Shinheungsa temple, and go see Sokcho fish market. Afternoon tour to Unification Observatory at the eastern coastal border where you can have a bird’s eye-view of DMZ and Sea Geumgang area of North Korea, and then, move on to beautiful Hwajinpo beach. LUNCH AT A LOCAL RESTAURANT AND BUFFET DINNER AT OUR SOL BEACH LA HOTEL.

SEPT. 21 (WED) YANGYANG/PYEONGCHANG INTERCONTINENTAL HOTEL
AMERICAN BUFFET BREAKFAST AT HOTEL. Check out and transfer to Gangneung for a visit to Seongyojang, nobleman’s mansion. Transfer to Herb Nara which boasts of plenty of herb collections in a beautifully landscaped garden. Transfer to Alpensia Resort which is the venue of 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. LUNCH AT A LOCAL RESTAURANT AND SET DINNER AT OUR HOTEL.

SEPT. 22 (THU) PYEONGCHANG/SABUK KANGWON LAND CASINO HOTEL
AMERICAN BUFFET BREAKFAST AT HOTEL. Morning drive to enjoy the panoramic scenic beauty of the seashore driving along the East Coast. First stop at Jeongdongjin famous for its location, the first sunrise of the year and the world’s largest sand-glass, and then, Chuam beach renowned for its grotesque rocky seashore in Donghae. Then, drive along Sae-Cheon-Nyeon seaside road in Samcheok, one of Korea’s 100 best scenic roads. Transfer to Kangwon Land Casino Hotel for overnight stay. LUNCH AT A LOCAL RESTAURANT AND BUFFET DINNER AT KANGWON LAND CASINO HOTEL RESTAURANT.

SEPT. 23 (FRI) SABUK/ANDONG/GYEONGJU GYEONGJU HYUNDAI HOTEL
AMERICAN BUFFET BREAKFAST AT HOTEL. Depart for Andong. Tour around historical Hahwae Village and Mask museum in Andong. Transfer to Gyeongju. LUNCH AT A LOCAL RESTAURANT AND BUFFET DINNER AT HOTEL’S SARAH RESTAURANT.

SEPT. 24 (SAT) GYEONGJU GYEONGJU HYUNDAI HOTEL
AMERICAN BUFFET BREAKFAST AT HOTEL. Full Day Gyeongju Tour including Seokkulan Grotto, Bulkuk Temple, Nat’l Museum, Tumuli Park containing a total 23 Shilla tombs, Cheomseongdae Astronomical observatories remaining in the East Asia today, and Anapji Pond, which was a splendid decoration for the Shilla Palace. LUNCH AT LOCAL RESTAURANT AND BUFFET DINNER AT HOTEL SARAH RESTAURANT.

SEPT. 25 (SUN) GYEONGJU/BUSAN _ HOTEL LOTTE BUSAN
AMERICAN BUFFET BREAKFAST AT HOTEL. Travel south to Busan and upon arrival, afternoon city tour including Busan Tower in the Mt. Yongdu Park, U.N. Cemetery and Jagalchi Fishery Market, where you can smell out the taste and emotion of Busan city. LUNCH AT A LOCAL RESTAURANT AND BUFFET DINNER AT HOTEL LOTTE BUSAN RESTAURANT.

SEPT. 26 (MON) BUSAN/CHEONGDO/SEOUL HOTEL LOTTE SEOUL
AMERICAN BUFFET BREAKFAST AT HOTEL. Transfer to Cheongdo famous for the traditional Korean bull fight and the Wine Tunnel, where you can have an opportunity to taste the persimmon wine. Travel north and transfer to Seoul by way of Mungyeongsaejae for LUNCH and KBS open studio on the way. BUFFET DINNER AT HOTEL SEOUL LOTTE RESTAURANT.

SEPT. 27 (TUE) SEOUL HOTEL LOTTE SEOUL
AMERICAN BUFFET BREAKFAST AT HOTEL. DMZ & SEOUL CITY TOUR. Morning tour to the 3rd Tunnel dug by North Korea and Freedom Bridge right outside DMZ, which war prisoners crossed to the south for freedom at the end of Korean War in 1953. Return to Seoul and continue on afternoon Seoul city tour including Changdok Palace, the detached palace of Joseon dynasty, which was designated as UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage in 1997. Then visit Insadong Antique Alley, East Gate Open Market before returning to the hotel. LUNCH AT A LOCAL RESTAURANT AND BUFFET DINNER AT OUR HOTEL.

SEPT. 28 (WED) SEOUL/HONOLULU

AMERICAN BUFFET BREAKFAST AT HOTEL. Morning at leisure, last chance to shop! Proceed to Inchon Int’l Airport for your flight home. DINNER ON THE FLIGHT TO HONOLULU FROM KOREA. Arrive in Honolulu the same morning, SEPTEMBER 28, 2016 (WEDNESDAY). After clearing U.S. Customs, proceed home. JAPAN & INTERNATIONAL TOURS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The tour price is based on double occupancy and a minimum group size of 20 passengers. Fare adjustment may apply for groups of 20 or under. Tour fare is subject change according to any air fare increase and fluctuation of the rate of exchange between U.S. and foreign currency. In the event of revaluation, the land portion of the tour price may be adjusted prior to your final statement.

TOUR FARE INCLUDES: Round trip air transportation on economy class (APEX fare), best available hotels or inns, steamers, reserved rail and bus transportation, meals as indicated in the itinerary, transfer of baggage’s, and affiliated agencies, and tips to all hotel maids, porters, and train attendants. The tour fare also includes U.S. Departure tax and U.S. customs user fee.

AIR TRANSPORTATION: APEX (Advance Purchase Excursion) air fare has a minimum stay of 6 days / maximum stay of 6 months. Excursion fare tickets must be issued 7 days before departure and any changes after issue will require a minimum service charge of U.S. $100.00. Tickets are non-endorsable, non-transferable and refund must be processed through issuing agent. Airfares are based on tariffs as of July 2009 and subject to change if tariffs are changed prior to actual booking or departure.

DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION: $100.00 deposit is required at time of booking. Final billing will be made approximately 45 days before departure. Deposit is refundable in full if cancellation is made 45 days or more before departure. If cancellation occurs less than 45 days before scheduled departure, deposit will be forfeited. If cancellation occurs within 14 days of departure, a minimum of $500.00 cancellation charge will be assessed.

TRAVEL AWARDS: Travel awards or free air passage may be used, but may be subject to a surcharge.

ROOM ACCOMODATIONS: Tour fare based on two persons to a room at hotels and inns. Single rooms will be made available at an extra charge.

BAGGAGE: Limited to one piece of baggage per person. Excess baggage at additional cost to passenger. Baggage is at owners own risk. We assume no liability for loss or damage.

FARES DO NOT INCLUDE: Passport and visa fees, foreign airport taxes, laundry services, liquors, and other expenses of personal nature.

RESPONSIBILITY: Tohoku Travel Service, Inc., as tour organizer, acts only as an agent for the passenger in regards to travel, sightseeing, hotel and meal arrangements, and other tour services and assumes no liability for sickness, injury, accident, delay or irregularity through the acts of any company or person engaged in carrying out the arrangement of the tour. The right is reserved to make any necessary changes in the itinerary or to withdraw the tour if deemed advisable. The right is further reserved to refuse to accept or retain as a tour member any individual whose act or conduct is judged detrimental to or incompatible with the interest, comfort, harmony or well being of the group as a whole. An appropriate refund will be made if such incident should occur.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: group travel insurance covering trip cancellation, trip interruption available at extra cost.

SURCHARGE FOR YEAR 2016

TOUR MEMBERS NOT PURCHASING THEIR AIRLINE TICKETS THROUGH TOHOKU TRAVEL SERVICE, INC. WILL BE ASSESSED A $225.00 PER PERSON SURCHARGE. SHOULD YOU ARRIVE AFTER THE TOUR GROUP’S ARRIVAL TIME, YOU MUST FIND YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO THE HOTEL. SAME GOES FOR DEPARTURES FROM JAPAN, IF YOUR FLIGHTS LEAVES EARLIER THAN THE TOUR GROUP’S, YOU MUST FIND YOUR OWN WAY TO THE AIRPORT.

THE TOUR AIRFARE PORTION WILL BE SUBTRACTED FROM THE TOUR PACKAGE COST. THANK YOU!
