JAN. 10 (TUE) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE DRINKS and MOVIES.

JAN. 11 (WED) NARITA NARITA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport and after government entry formalities, by bus to our hotel near the airport. After hotel check-in your tour guide will take you to the AEON Shopping Center by shuttle bus {If You Wish To}.

JAN. 12 (THU) KAMOGAWA KAMOGAWA HOTEL MIKAZUKI (ONSEN) ♨
Visit the National Museum of Japanese History, well designed museum that traces the comprehensive history and cultural development of the Japanese people. Exhibits are highly visual with very vibrant and attractive displays of impressive collection of National Important Cultural Assets, realistic models of villages and landscapes, etc. Then taste “New Year Happiness Lunch Dish” with a wish for “Good Health in the New Year”. It can only be served during the “New Year Season”. Then go to Naritasan Shinshoji Temple for “Hatsumode” {The First Visit to a Shrine or Temple to pray for “Good Fortune in the New Year”}. This highly popular temple annually attracts 3 million people for a New Year’s visit. You can pray for family and traffic safety like the Japanese visitors do. Also enjoy strolling around Omotesando, a lively street lined with numerous stores selling traditional crafts, foods and souvenirs to pilgrims for centuries. Then head to a Japanese Style Onsen Resort Hotel which has a “Big Hot Spring Bath” and “Open Air Roten Buro Bath” with a beautiful ocean view from the top floor of the hotel. You can also try the famous “Special Pure Gold Bathtub” etc.
Dinner will be a buffet featuring Fresh Seafood, Sushi, Sashimi, Crab, Tempura, Steak, etc.

JAN. 13 (FRI) TOMIURA TOMIURA ROYAL HOTEL
Go to famous Kamogawa Sea World, a must see destination in Chiba prefecture. Enjoy seeing several shows of sea animals such as Dolphin, Beluga Whale, Sea lion, etc. The main attraction here is the “Killer Whale Show”! See their dynamic jump with a big splash! It is amazing and impressive show performed by the King of the Ocean. Chiba is famous for Seafood because of the close proximity to fishing ports. Enjoy Seafood BBQ Lunch with local seafood, shellfish, meats, vegetables, fruits, etc, in a buffet style. Later go to Tateyama Family Park. This will be the season when the Poppy flower is blooming. Enjoy strolling around park with peaceful atmosphere created by yellow and orange poppies, colorful snapdragons etc. We will stay in a Resort Hotel located in a cape where you can enjoy a refreshing walk around the hotel. Soak in a big public bath and Onsen and Open air bath (not Onsen hot spring). Dinner will be a Japanese set menu with an essential Japanese New Years Dish Ozoni (Japanese Mochi soup). It is a Japanese tradition in New Years.

JAN. 14 (SAT) KISARAZU OKURA AKADEMIA PARK HOTEL
Visit the Okuzure Narcissus Village to see the Narcissus which should be blooming during this season. This town is one of 3 major Narcissus spots in Japan. See the beautiful contrasting view of Japanese Narcissus with green leaves standing out against the winter sky. Later visit Nihonji Temple to see its impressive historical Big Stone Buddha it is 101 ft. tall and 230 years old. And visit Nori Factory. Tokyo Bay is major Nori seaweed cultivation area and it will be the season when Nori Seaweed is made. Enjoy shopping and sample Fresh raw nori Miso soup, grilled Nori, etc." Then to urban resort hotel located on the hill. In the evening go to Tokyo German village to see its amazing displays of the Winter illumination Festival. The illumination offers a really fantastic spectacle with 2 million light bulbs. This magical festival of lights has been chosen as Japan's Nightscape Heritage site.

JAN. 15 (SUN) SUIDOBASHI, TOKYO TOKYO DOME HOTEL
Head to Tokyo via the Tokyo Bay Aqua Line, known as Trans Tokyo Bay Highway which is 10 miles marine crossing bridge and tunnel through the Tokyo bay. Stop at Umi Hotaru parking area jutting out from ocean. Enjoy shopping of local specialties with a giant 360-degree panoramic view of Tokyo Bay. Visit Tokyo Dome where Furusato Matsuri (Japan’s Festivals & Hometown Foods) festival is being held. Tokyo’s biggest food festival featuring local foods from across Japan that you can savor delicious specialties of Japan such as fresh seafood, domburi rice bowls, sake, fancy desserts, etc. And watch large-scale recreations of popular festivals in Japan like Dance and Drum festival, Yosakoi festival, etc. Our hotel is located next to Tokyo Dome Stadium and Tokyo Dome City Shopping Mall where Winter festival is held. Festival site will be illuminated with 2.2 million lights. After dinner, you can stroll around the festival site with beautiful illuminations.

JAN 16 (MON) SUIDOBASHI, TOKYO TOKYO DOME HOTEL
Visit Rikugien Garden, often considered Tokyo's most beautiful Japanese landscape garden that established in 1702. The garden is a good example of an Edo Period strolling style garden and features a large central pond surrounded by manmade hills and forested areas. Later visit Tokyo’s new tourist attraction TeNQ Space Museum (Opened in July 2014). A unique entertaining museum using state of the art technology that provides a moving experiences of the wonders of the Space and Universe. You can see spectacular real-life and high definition images of space, projected on circular screen measuring 36 feet in diameter. It allows you to view earth as seen from space satellite. The fascinating experiences take you to simulated Space Travel. Later go to Ameyoko, one of Japan's most popular shopping streets, filled with many shops dealing discounts on all kinds of items include seafood, sweets, t-shirts, snacks, etc. Enjoy big shopping!

JAN. 17 (TUE) KINUGAWA KINUGAWA HOTEL MIKAZUKI (ONSEN) ♨
Go to Ashikaga Flower Park to see wonderful winter flowers such as Kan-tsubaki (winter camellias) and Kan-botan (winter peonies). We will have “Happiness lunch” a set of New Year's dishes with a wish for good luck for the year. And visit Kurita Museum, the largest porcelain museum in the world with a remarkable collection and display of Japanese porcelain known as Imari and Nabeshima ware which were the first porcelain produced in Japan during the Edo period (1603-1867). Later enjoy tasting regional specialty in season Strawberry picking. Try sweet and fresh strawberries as much as you like. Then proceed to Kinugawa, one of Japan’s largest onsen resort areas. We will stay at beautiful Onsen Resort hotel with many varieties of Hot spring baths such as Rocky bath, Jacuzzi, Golden & silver bath tab, etc. Enjoy Onsen Hotspring Bath and Open AirBath (Roten buro) of famous Kinugawa Hot spring. In the evening, we will eat Oshiruko (a traditional Japanese desert consist of Azuki beans and Mochi). It is also the special soup for new year celebration.

JAN. 18 (WED) KINUGAWA KINUGAWA HOTEL MIKAZUKI (ONSEN) ♨
Visit Nikko begonia park to enjoy walking and taking picture in green house filled with colorful begonias. Then head to Nikko to visit World Cultural Heritage site Toshogu Shrine, built 400 years ago and praised as Japan’s most photographed place. (Yomeimon Gate is currently being renovated and covered up by scaffolding). Later go to see Kegon Waterfall in winter scenery. It is ranked as one of the three most beautiful waterfalls and highest in Japan with a height of 318 ft. In winter the waterfall offers a different kind of beauty when the rocks are covered in thick icicles and snow, often looking quite blue. We will enjoy Sweets Buffet for taking a short break. Tasting Japanese Sweets, Manju, Cake, Ice Cream, etc as much as you like! Then go back to the hotel to enjoy soaking and relaxing in Onsen Hot spring bath and Open air Roten buro bath.

JAN. 19 (THU) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
In the morning we will enjoy hands on experience of “grilling senbei (rice cracker)” at Nikko Okaki factory. And you can buy fresh Senbei at the factory store. And visit Tobu World Square, a unique theme park exhibits 1:25 scale models of the most famous “World Cultural Heritage Sites in the world” such as Pyramid, Great Wall of China, Himeji Castle, Statue of Liberty, etc. You can enjoy “Around the world trip” at this park. Then head to Yokohama, 2nd largest city in Japan. Our hotel is connecting to the underground shopping mall and located within easy walking distance to department stores, 100Yen shop, Electronics store and After hotel check in, tour guide will take you Holo holo around the hotel.

JAN. 20 (FRI) YOKOHAMA YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS
Enjoy shopping at Yokohama Wholesale Market to buy Tsukemono, Umeboshi, etc., at a wholesale price. Then to Minato Mirai Area. Yokohama’s most popular district with many large high rise buildings. Visit its highest Yokohama Landmark Tower. Enjoy panoramic 360 degrees view overlooking Yokohama port, Bay Bridge, etc. from 892 ft high observation on 69th floor where Mt Fuji can be seen on clear day. Then go to Lazona Shopping mall for shopping and lunch. Upon arrival at the hotel, Free Time to finish shopping, packing, etc. (Lunch / Dinner will be at your own expense)

JAN. 21 (SAT) HONOLULU {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}
At checkout time our agent will come to tape & tie-up the boxes and take the baggage to be checked-in down. Proceed to Narita Airport to catch flight in the evening to Honolulu. Arrive in Honolulu the same morning, January 21(Sat) After clearing U.S. Customs, proceed home.
(Lunch and dinner will be at your own expense.) Clients remaining back will be assisted in obtaining train, plane and hotel reservations.
Members may return to Honolulu individually, but no later than 3 months from day of departure. Weekday returns will cost less per person.
