Leave Honolulu Int’l Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a Snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE Movies and Drinks.

JUN 22 (THU) OSAKA SHERATON MIYAKO HOTEL OSAKA
Arrive at Kansai Int’l Airport and after entry formalities, by bus to the hotel in Osaka, central city of west Japan and biggest city in Kansai region. The hotel is located in down town area and next to Uehonmachi station and department store.

JUN 23 (FRI) OSAKA SHERATON MIYAKO HOTEL OSAKA
Head to Sakai, attractive city in Osaka with a variety of histories and traditions. Visit Sakai Traditional Industry hall exhibits traditional local crafts mainly pertaining to the 600-year old Sakai cutlery. Even today 90% of all professional-use kitchen knives are made in Sakai. It is a good chance to buy knives that Japanese chefs are using, as well as finest examples of local crafts such as Incense, Wazarashi cotton etc. Then go back to downtown Osaka and enjoy strolling on Doguyasuji street lined with specialty stores of cooking utensils and kitchen items for professional chefs and food experts. You can find countless selective and professional-use tools here. After going back to the hotel, enjoy shopping around the hotel or just rest. For those who wish to, we will take you to Senba Wholesale building, a massive wholesale district with nearly 1,000 stores selling textile products, shoes, watches, jewelry, etc.

JUN 24 (SAT) KYOTO NEW MIYAKO HOTEL KYOTO
Head to Kyoto, an ancient capital of Japan with a 1200 year history and carries a reputation as the most beautiful city in Japan. Upon arrival, having fun riding on Sagano Scenic Railway known as its charming and old fashioned “Torokko Train”. This is open window train which gives you nice breeze while viewing beautiful river flow with forested ravine during the ride. Later visit Kyoto Museum of Traditional Crafts featuring fantastic exhibit of nearly every traditional handicrafts in Kyoto. Here, you can try your hand at painting and design your own Tote bag using the traditional Yuzen dyeing technique. Kyoto is famous for its textile tradition. Nishijin Embroidery is particularly famous with history go back some 1,200 years. Recently these gorgeous weaves are used for bags, table-runners, cushion covers, etc., not only Obi sash for kimono. Then go to the hotel located in front of Kyoto Station and close to AEON shopping mall including UNIQLO, 100 YEN shop, etc. After hotel check in, we will take you to Holo Holo around the hotel.

JUN 25 (SUN) KYOTO NEW MIYAKO HOTEL KYOTO
In the morning visit Kamigamo Shrine where monthly Handicraft market is held. This fabulous market is really pleasant offering a wide selection of handmade jewelry, clothes, ornaments, interesting foods and beverages. About 250 stalls are likewise spread over a wide area in Shrine ground. You can also visit beautifully preserved buildings designated as World Heritage. After a healthy Kyoto’s Obanzai lunch, enjoy shopping at the Kyoto Handicraft Center, carries Kyoto’s beautiful and skillful made handcrafts and specialty goods. And visit Yatsuhashi factory. Yatsuhashi is a traditional Japanese confectionery rated as Kyoto's most famous souvenir. We will try making Nama Yatsuhashi {a soft, moch like texture dough wrapped around red bean paste (Anko)}. You can make your own Nama Yatsuhashi with different flavors. For those who wish to, we will take you to Nishiki Market by subway (Optional). This lively market called “Kyoto’s Kitchen” and specializes in all essential ingredients and seasonal foods for Kyoto cuisine. See the unique food culture of Kyoto.

JUN 26 (MON) YOKKAICHI YOKKAICHI MIYAKO HOTEL

Visit Omi-jofu fabric Museum to learn a traditional local fabric with fine wrinkle and designs of splash patterns has rough and comfort touch. It is National designated Traditional Craft that has evolved since 12th century. Then go to Shigaraki Tanuki (raccoon dog) village. Home of famous Shigaraki pottery, one of the six oldest potteries in Japan with a 750 years history. Main feature is Raccoon dog pottery considered to promise you success for business and protection from accident. Then proceed to the hotel connecting to a shopping center with Supermarket, Craft supply Shop “Yuzawaya”, 100 YEN shop, etc. Enjoy shopping after hotel check in.

JUN 27 (TUE) GIFU GIFU MIYAKO HOTEL

Visit Shippo (Cloisonne enamel ware) Art village. You can see and touch beautiful Owari Shippo, attained such prominence as a National Important Traditional Handicraft. You can learn about the fine craft from its history and see masterpieces has noble, gorgeous design. Then head to Mino. Enjoy strolling around Udatsu no Agaru Historic District which is beautifully preserved old town streets in the early Edo period (1603-1868). Mino Washi (Traditional Japanese hand-made paper) catching world’s attention since registration of UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity lists in 2014. You can purchase this regional special product at the old town. Then go to Seki, Japan’s most historic blacksmithing area with 800 years tradition. Visit Cutler Sanshu producing finest kitchen knives with the same techniques used to create legendary samurai swords. You will get a chance to buy Seki’s durable and incredibly sharp knives, scissors, etc. And visit Ukai (Cormorant Fishing) Museum exhibits information about “Ukai cormorant fishing”, a traditional fishing method has been passed down for over 1300 years. You can learn about this major cultural tradition that represent Japan. Then go to excellent hotel located in front of Nagara River. In the evening, we will enjoy watching “real” Ukai (Cormorant fishing) on the river from boat. Fishermen work together with trained cormorants to catch fish using torches in pitch black darkness. Enjoy a world of delicate beauty in Japanese tradition.

JUN 28 (WED) NAGOYA CASTLE PLAZA
Visit Yamakawa Shoyu factory which produces various products including traditional Tamari soy sauce, Tamari soup stock, etc. Their “Soy sauce for ice cream” is very unique. Pouring over ice cream gives it a caramel flavor. And stop at AEON Shopping Mall for Shopping and Lunch. Then head to Tajimi, Japan’s largest ceramics-producing region which accounted for over 60% of Japanese tableware. Visit Mino wear Wholesale Center carrying various varieties of ceramic wares. Mino ware is also designated as a National Traditional craft. Later proceed to Nagoya, Japan’s 4th largest city. Our hotel is located near the Nagoya station and underground shopping mall. After hotel check in, tour guide will take you to shopping area. For those who wish to, we will take you to Big fabric store occupies from B1F to 4F of the building.

JUN 29 (THU) NAGOYA CASTLE PLAZA

In the morning, visit Yanagibashi Central Market with more than 400 shops and stalls specializes in fresh fish, vegetables, pickles, dried foods, etc. Feel the lively atmosphere of Japanese market. Then proceed to Arimatsu old town, old post station in Edo-period where many original merchant houses have been preserved. We will visit Shibori Tie Dyeing Museum. Intricate Shibori dyeing is used to produce colorful designs for kimono fabric. See demonstration and interesting video in English about the process of making these Handmade Heritage. Also enjoy shopping for kimono, fabrics, bags, etc. Then visit Osu temple, originally founded in 1190’s. Just beside the temple is the entrance to the Osu Shopping Arcade, an exciting downtown area with all sorts of shops and restaurants. The mall is always crowded with local people and filled with energy and friendly and touchable atmosphere.

JUN 30 (FRI) YAIZU YAIZU GRAND HOTEL (ONSEN)
Visit Gamagori Orange park to taste piece of Melon in season. Aichi’s Melon is a premium brand due to its sweet taste and aroma. Then go to Lake Hamana to experience dying your own Towel made of Japanese paper (Washi) with a special weaving technique which was independently developed in this area. This miraculous Washi towel is composed entirely of Japanese materials and can withstand exposure to water. Next go to Makinohara Japanese tea garden to see the process of tea production. Shizuoka is Japan’s No.1 producer of green tea. We will have lesson how to make a sweet and fragrant green tea. And enjoy shopping of Japanese tea, Shin-cha (First tea of the year), Tea products, etc., at their direct merchant shop. Then go to the resort hotel located on the edge of a cliff overlooking beautiful Suruga bay and Mt Fuji (If weather is fine). Enjoy Onsen Hot spring Bath and Open air bath. Private bath is available (Own Expense).

JUL 1 (SAT) IKEBUKURO, TOKYO HOTEL METROPOLITAN
In the morning visit Yaizu Fish Center. About 70 shops carrying fish products, dried seafood, local souvenirs, Japanese tea, etc. Enjoy wholesale price shopping with lively atmosphere. Then head to Tokyo to visit Japan Traditional Crafts Aoyama Square offers handy one-stop shopping for a range of Japanese crafts. It exhibits and sells various kinds of selective traditional crafts such as Woodcrafts, Lacquer wares, Woven textiles, Potteries, etc. Then proceed to Ikebukuro, one of Tokyo's multiple city centers. Our hotel is located within easy walking distance to Shopping district. After hotel check in, tour guides will take you to Holo Holo to department store, etc.

JUL 2 (SUN) IKEBUKURO, TOKYO / KAWAGOE HOTEL METROPOLITAN
Head to Kawagoe, called “Koedo” (Small Edo) because the town has retained history, culture and atmosphere of Edo period. Enjoy browsing around and shopping at Kurazukuri Street with old storehouse merchant houses on both sides of the street. We also get a chance to visit a small alley “Kashiya Yokocho (Candy Alley)” carrying snacks made of sweet potato, etc. And visit Kawagoe Festival Museum with display of huge float and watch a short movie of Kawagoe Festival. Then return to Tokyo and visit Ameyoko, one of Japan's most popular shopping streets, filled with many shops dealing discounts on all kinds of products including seafood, candies, T-shirts, snacks, etc. Upon arrival back at the hotel, Free time for Shopping and Packing, etc. (Lunch and dinner will be at your own expense).

JUL 3 (MON) HONOLULU {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}
At check-out time we will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon, go to Narita Airport to catch evening flight to Honolulu. RESPONSIBILITY: The tour organizer or any travel agencies involved, act only as agents for the passengers in regards to travel, sightseeing, hotel and meal arrangements, and other tour services. If the agency becomes aware that a passenger has a special chronic health problem, the agency shall ensure that it is provided with a letter from the passenger’s personal physician stating the nature of such health problem and certifying that the passenger is physically fit to participate in the tour. Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the tour. Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members. However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.

Baggage’s are at owner’s own risk. The right is reserved to make any necessary changes in tour if deemed advisable. Also, the airlines and other transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their carriers concerned.
