SEP. 11 (MON) NARITA/CHITOSE ANA CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL CHITOSE

Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport and after government formalities, transfer to your connecting flight to Chitose Int’l Airport in Hokkaido. Upon arrival, go directly to our hotel in Chitose City and located close to AEON Supermarket. {About 10 min. from the airport}

SEP. 12 (TUE) ASAHIKAWA HOTEL RASSO GRANDE ASAHIKAWA {ONSEN} ♨

Hokkaido is a treasure trove for delicious foods and drinks. Visit the Sapporo Beer Brewery, "One of the Oldest and Most Popular" beer brands in Japan and has been brewed in Hokkaido since 1877. View the process of making beer and "Sample Freshly Brewed Beer". Good chance to try "Sapporo Classic" "sold only in Hokkaido"! Later we will enjoy seasonal "Fruit Picking" {Sumomo Plum or Prune depending on climate of the year}. Taste the "Fresh Japanese Fruit" in season. Later stop by Sunagawa Highway Oasis for some shopping of "Local Hokkaido Specialties". Our hotel is located right next to the Asahikawa Train Station and AEON Shopping Center. After arrival your tour guide will take you to "Holo-Holo" near the hotel. Soak and Relax in the Onsen Hot Spring Bath.

SEP. 13 (WED) ASAHIKAWA HOTEL RASSO GRANDE ASAHIKAWA {ONSEN} ♨
In the morning, head to Daisetsuzan National Park where we should be able to see Japan's earliest "Autumn Momiji Leaves". Ride the Asahidake Ropeway to go up to the main peak of the "Taisetsu Mountain Range" (5,249ft) which is called the "Roof of Hokkaido". Mt. Asahidake is the "Highest Mountain in Hokkaido" (7,513ft) and the "Very 1st Place" to start turning its color to "Autumn Color in Japan". Enjoy the superb view of great nature with magnificent Autumn Color. Then visit the Otokoyama Sake Brewery which makes the "Best Sake" not only in Hokkaido but also both within Japan and worldwide. Learn its history at the museum and
"Taste Their Fresh Sake" which you can purchase. After going back to the hotel "Free Time" to continue shopping or Relax at the Onsen Hot Spring Bath.

SEP. 14 (THU) WAKKANAI WAKKANAI GRAND HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨

Proceed to the "Northernmost City in Japan" "Wakkanai" which has a "Typical Laid-Back Hokkaido Character" with "Inimitable Sceneries". Along the way, visit the Sturgeon Aquarium located by the Teshio River, where Sturgeon used to run up the river. You can see Sturgeon referred to as "Primitive Fish" up close. Then go to the Reindeer Farm where 60 reindeers brought from Finland are raised. You can try feeding them if you wish to. Later proceed to Wakkanai while passing through the Rishiri-Rebun-Sarobetsu National Park, the "Northernmost National Park" in Japan. Our hotel is located in the downtown area of the city. Enjoy the Relaxing Hot Spring Bath and a delicious "Sukiyaki Dinner with Crab" in the evening.

SEP. 15 (FRI) REBUN ISLAND - RISHIRI ISLAND ISLAND INN RISHIRI (ONSEN) ♨
Early breakfast and early departure but you will have an interesting journey to the "Northernmost Island in Japan", "Rebun Island" which is often called "The Undiscovered Retreat of Hokkaido". Upon arrival on the island by "ferry" we transfer to a bus to south of the island characterized by a scenic steep coastline. Visit the observatory and look down to the islands most popular landmarks "Neko(Cat) Rock and Momo(Peach) Rock" distinctively shaped huge rocks looking like "a cat and a peach". Next we head to Cape Sukoton, the "Northern Most View Point" overlooking the Soya Strait and uninhabited "Sea Lion Island". Later visit Cape Sukai, known as the "Best Point to View" "Rebun's Magnificently Beautiful Blue Sea" with sheer cliffs of the unexplored region. Then catch the "ferry" ato Rishiri Island with its symbol "Mt. Rishiri" (5,646ft) in the center of the island. After arrival on the island go to the hotel located close to a park offering superb scenery. Soak and Relax in the Onsen Hot Spring bath and Open Air Bath overlooking the Japan Sea and Rebun Island. Enjoy a "Buffet Dinner" with many "Fresh Local Seafood, Famous Rishiri Konbu Seaweed, Locally Grown Vegetables, etc".

SEP. 16 (SAT) WAKKANAI WAKKANAI GRAND HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Explore around fascinating Rishiri Island offering tranquility, peacefulness and lovely sea and mountain views. Visit Senhoushi Misaki Park which offers the "Best View of Mt Rishiri" often called "Rishiri Fuji" and oddly shaped rocks. You can purchase famous "Rishiri Konbu" at the store. Then to Rishiri Town Museum, which focuses on the subject of harmony humans and the sea. The museum displays lifestyle, history and culture of the inhabitants of the island who coexist with the sea. Next visit "One of the Island's Best Scenic Spots" Otatomari Swamp with "the Biggest Pond on the Island". The view of the clear blue waters of pond with Mt. Rishiri as a backdrop is just splendid. Also visit Himenuma Pond, a hidden spot filled by primeval forest. Take a peaceful walk around the pond with spectacular view of lush green forest. Later catch the ferry back to Wakkanai. Soak and Relax in the Onsen Hot Spring Bath.

SEP. 17 (SUN) LAKE SAROMA LAKE SAROMA TSURUGA RESORT (ONSEN) ♨
Visit Cape Soya, the northernmost tip of Japan and surrounded by the ocean on three sides. There is a monument that indicates this cape to be Japan's northernmost piece of real estate. Russian held Sakhalin Island can be seen on a clear day. Then drive along the Okhotsk Sea to Monbetsu and visit the Tokkari Seals Center which is the only one "Specialty Care Center for Injured Seals in Japan". We will see lovely seals up close and watch them feeding. Later head to picturesque Lake Saroma the "Third Largest Lake in Japan". Our accommodation is a nice resort hotel facing the lake. Enjoy a delicious "Buffet Dinner" featuring "Local Seafood", etc. and Relaxing in another warm Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Rotenburo Bath with a beautiful lake view.

SEP. 18 (MON) LAKE KUSSHARO KUSSHARO PRINCE HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Proceed to Lake Notori to see the crimson Coral Grass that spreads along the lakeside area like a red carpet. {the brightness of color depends on the climate of the year). Lake Notori has the biggest colony of this very rare plant that can be seen only this time of season. Later go to Abashiri to visit Mt. Tento Flower Garden where seasonal flowers will be in bloom during this time of season. If timing is right, this huge garden will be filled with colorful flowers such as Marigold, Salvia, Cockscomb, etc. Also visit Okhotsk Ice Floe Museum just renovated in August 2015. Experience the "Beautiful World of Drift Ice" through the new 3-D projection mapping with illusionary effect of light and sound. Additionally get a chance to "see and touch real drift ice in the freezing experience room that is kept at 5`F and experience how cold it can be in Abashiri during the winter. Then head to Lake Kussharo, "Japan's Biggest Caldera Lake" while going through Bihoro Pass overlooking the beautiful Lake. Our hotel is located by the lake and "One of the Top Resort Hotels in Eastern Hokkaido". Soak and Relax in the Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Bath.

SEP. 19 (TUE) OBIHIRO HOTEL NIKKO NORTH LAND OBIHIRO

Lake Kussharo's shore is dotted with many Open Air Hot Spring Baths. We will visit the Sunayu Beach Sand Bath. If you touch the sandy ground along the lakeside you will find that it is hot! Later enjoy riding the seasonal sightseeing "Norroki Train" that leisurely passes through the large and expanse of Kushiro Marsh National Park preserving Japan's largest wetland and marsh habitat which is registered under the Ramsar Convention. Enjoy the beautiful scenery as the Kushiro River runs its course through the marshes just as leisurely as you do through the marshes. The train moves slowly along, giving you time to enjoy the wetlands' highlights as they pass by the window. Upon arrival at Kushiro Station, transfer to the bus to Obihiro. This region is called "Tokachi" and was once considered as: "Real Hokkaido is Here". Hotel is located next to the Train Station with its Shopping Building and easy walking distance to the Supermarket. Enjoy shopping after hotel check in.

SEP. 20 (WED) SAPPORO CENTURY ROYAL HOTEL
Walk to Obihiro Station and catch the "Super Ozora" Express Train. This train is popular for tourists who travel around Hokkaido. Upon arrival transfer by bus to Ecorin Village, a vast farm theme park with animals, plants and flowers in a great nature atmosphere. You will encounter lovely animals such as Sheep, Llamas and Alpacas and see a Sheep Show. Also get a chance to enjoy a farm tour on a tractor that speeds across the pastures. Then head to Sapporo, the "Largest City" in Hokkaido. Hotel is located next to Sapporo Station with Department Store and Underground Shopping Mall. Enjoy shopping after hotel check in.

SEP. 21 (THU) SAPPORO CENTURY ROYAL HOTEL
Go to Takino Suzuran Hillside National Park where the Cosmos Festival is held during this season. If timing is right, 50 different kinds of 7 hundred thousand Cosmoses will fill the garden. Then visit the AEON Shopping Mall for Lunch and Shopping. Later visit the Sapporo Central Wholesale Market. You can buy Dried Seafood, Local Specialties, etc. at a wholesale price. Upon hotel arrival it will be "Free Time" to finish shopping or just rest. {LUNCH and DINNER will be At Your Own Expense}. Everyone will be given a carton box to use for packing his or her gifts. (2 Pieces Per Person Baggage Allowance. Any excess will be paid for by the member).

SEP. 22 (FRI) HONOLULU
Only breakfast included this day. At checkout time our agents will come to tape & tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon, proceed to Chitose Airport to catch a domestic flight to Nagoya or Narita Int’l Airport. Upon arrival transfer to a International flight to Honolulu, arriving the same morning, SEPTEMBER 22, 2017 (FRIDAY). After clearing U.S. Custom, proceed home. Also, in our endeavor to ensure congenial membership, we reserve the right to refuse the application of anyone and / or to expel from the tour, members whose conduct is incompatible with the interests of the tour. Further, we reserve the right to refuse the application of any handicapped passenger if it is determined that such passenger would impede the schedule of the tour and greatly inconvenience the majority of tour members. However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.
