MAR. 6 (TUE) HONOLULU
Leave Honolulu International Airport via Japan Airlines flight. Lunch and a snack will be served aboard the flight. FREE MOVIES and DRINKS.

MAR. 7 (WED) HAKATA HOTEL OKURA FUKUOKA
Arrive at Narita Int’l Airport or Kansai Int’l Airport and after clearance of government formalities transfer to a connecting flight to Fukuoka Airport. Upon arrival by bus to the hotel in Hakata the biggest city in Kyushu. Our hotel is located near the downtown Nakasu Area, where it is good for shopping and strolling, etc.

MAR. 8 (THU) HAKATA HOTEL OKURA FUKUOKA
Visit Dazaifu Tenmangu Shirine which is notable as one of the best sites to see Ume Blossom in Japan. 6,000 Ume trees will bloom and fill the garden this time of season (depending on climate). This shrine is the most important of several hundreds of shrines dedicated to Sugawara Michizane as God of Scholarship. The approach to the shrine is lined with shops carrying local specialties such as famous Umegae-mochi. Later visit Konpeito (Japanese sugar candy) Kingdom. Konpaito candy is a traditional Japanese sweets with a history over 460 years. We will try our hand at making our own Konpeito candy. Then proceed to Kushida Shrine, originally built in 757 as a guardian deity of Hakata. And visit Machiya Furusato Museum, celebrates the history and cultural heritage of Hakata. See the creative displays of folk culture and items used in everyday life at the 150-year-old designed houses of a weaver. Also good chance to purchase Hakata textile, Hakata doll, etc. After going back to the hotel, tour guide will take you to Kawabata Shopping Mall near the hotel. Hakata’s oldest shopping street has various kind of stores carrying Japanese Tea, Kimono wear, Cutlery, etc.

MAR. 9 (FRI) NAGASAKI HOTEL NEW NAGASAKI
Visit Ushinoo Bairin (Ume Forest), has been known as the best Ume flower viewing place with 13,000 Ume Trees lining over since end of Edo period (19th century). Annually Ume Blossom bloom around this time of the season. Then proceed to Huis Ten Bosch, a very popular theme park recreates a medieval 17th century Dutch town. Entire park is filled with real size copies of old Dutch buildings, lovely windmills & beautiful flowers which makes you feel as if you are in Netherlands. Admission ticket is paid for to enjoy your favorite attraction such as Horizon Adventure Plus; a theater where you can experience violent floods from Holland’s history with dynamic sound and lighting. And there are many exciting amusements in the park. Also enjoy leisurely stroll along streets with atmosphere of a Dutch city with canals, tulip gardens, etc. Hotel is located in front of Huis Ten Bosch, with a Hot Spring bath and Open air bath. After dinner go to see The kingdom of lights festival, 13 million lights of illumination called the World Greatest Light Festival. It is ranked as the No.1 in the night scenery ranking in Japan. See the brilliant and amazing scenery in the night.

MAR. 10 (SAT) SASEBO HOTEL OKURA JR HUIS TEN BOSCH (ONSEN) ♨
Enjoy seasonal attraction in Kyushu “Strawberry picking”. Taste fresh and sweet Japanese strawberry in season as much as you like! Then proceed to Nagasaki, one of the most intriguing and attractive tourist destinations in Kyushu with an incredible history has close ties to Europe and China. We will visit the Nagasaki Peace Park which commemorates the city’s destruction by the Atomic Bomb dropped on Aug. 9, 1945. In the park there is the massive Peace Statue and various other statues which promote and urge the concept of World Peace. We also visit Atomic Bomb Museum, aiming to contribute to the abolition of nuclear weapons and the realization of lasting world peace.
Our hotel is located close to Nagasaki train station and shopping building with supermarket, Tokyu hands, etc. After hotel check-in, tour guide will take you holo-holo near the hotel.

MAR. 11 (SUN) KUMAMOTO HOTEL NIKKO KUMAMOTO
Visit Nagasaki's foremost tourist attraction Glover Garden which is designated as an Important Cultural Asset. The elegance of the period of foreign settlement, nestled in picturesque surroundings offers a superb and extensive view of Nagasaki Harbor. The gardens feature the former Glover Residence, Japan’s oldest western wooden building has added to the list of World Heritage Site in 2015. Enjoy walking through the beautiful garden which is lush with colorful flowers. Later proceed to Shimabara peninsula to catch ferry (45 minutes ride) to Kumamoto, an old castle town blessed with an abundance of nature. Our hotel is located center of the city and close to department store and shopping mall. After hotel check-in, enjoy holo-holo near the hotel.

MAR. 12 (MON) KAGOSHIMA KAGOSHIMA SUN ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Visit Suizenji Park, a spacious Japanese style landscape garden registered as a National historic site of scenic beauty. It features a crystal clear pond and magnificent pine trees. Enjoy strolling along a circular path one can enjoy changing scenery. Ume flower should be blooming in the garden (Depending on the climate). Later proceed to Hitoyoshi, a 700-year-old castle town called “Small Kyoto in Kyushu” Visit Craft Park to enjoy painting your own Flower box which is traditional handicraft in this area. Then go to Kagoshima, Kyushu's southernmost major city blessed with exceptional scenery of beautiful oceans and mountains. We’ll stay at Modern city hotel faces Sakurajima Island, the symbol of Kagoshima. Relax in the Hot Spring bath while viewing Sakurajima Island.

MARCH 13 (TUE) AOSHIMA ANA HOLIDAY INN RESORT MIYAZAKI (ONSEN) ♨
Drive up to Mt. Shiroyama Park. You can over look the Kagoshima City, Kinko Bay and symbolic Sakurajima from the observatory. On the way, drive by many historical sites like the cave where Saigo Takamori committed suicide. Then visit Senganen Garden which constructed in 1658 and designated as place of Special National scenic beauty. The garden is made with fine design and has a refined taste, using Kinko bay to resemble the pond and Sakurajima as the miniature mountain of the garden. Ume flower and Kanhi Sakura (early blooming Cherry blossom) should be blooming in the garden (depending on climate of the year). Later, catch a Ferry (15 minutes) to land on Sakurajima Island, one of the world's greatest active volcanoes. You can feel the power of the nature that spewing steam up close. We will stay popular resort hotel overlooking the Hyuganada sea. Soak and Relax in Onsen Hot spring bath and Open air bath with beautiful ocean view.

MARCH 14 (WED) NOBEOKA HOTEL MERIGE NOBEOKA
Enjoy driving on beautiful Horikiri Pass, one of the best observation roads in Japan commanding the grandeur of the Hyuganada Sea which is spreading as far as the eye can see. If timing is right, Cherry blossoms are blooming along the road. And visit Aoshima Island, a National Special Natural Monument, with unusual wavy rock formation called Oni no Sentakuita (Ogre’s washboard), draw stripe patterns which show up at low tide. These perfectly straight rows of rock look as if the remnants of something manmade. Later go to Hyuga Cape where you can see magnificent scenery with many exposed rocks facing beautiful Hyuganada Sea. Umagase at the tip of the cape is a precipitous cliff of pillar-like rocks, towering 230ft high (highest in Japan) and commands excellent view of waves below breaking against rocks.

MARCH 15 (THU) BEPPU BEPPUWAN ROYAL HOTEL (ONSEN) ♨
Head to Usuki to see its National Treasure Stone Buddha Carvings. The largest-scale rock Buddha figures carved during 12th~14th century. Its scale and number and high quality are representing Japanese piety. Later head to Beppu, known as the Onsen (hot springs) capital and the world's second largest source of thermal spring water after Yellowstone National Park. When you are looking out the bus window on the way into town, You will see white steams spews every other building. We will enjoy some of Beppu Jigoku (Hell of Boiling Spring) Tour. Spectacular hot springs for viewing has difference in its own intense way. Visit Chinoike Jigoku (blood pond hell) features a pond of hot, blood-red water. This awesome pond takes its formidable color from red clay that dissolves in the natural hot spring water. And visit Umi Jigoku (Sea Hell). One of the most beautiful hells features a pond of boiling, turquoise blue water that resembles the sea. Its waters are 394 Ft deep and 208 F hot. We will stay Onsen resort hotel face to scenic Beppu bay. Enjoy Hot Spring Bath and Open Air Roten Buro Bath of famous Beppu Hot spring.

MARCH 16 (FRI) KOKURA RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL KOKURA
Visit African Safari Park, the largest safari park zoo in Japan located in expansive Ajimu Steppe with 70 species, 1,400 animals. You can observe the large animals such as Lion, Tiger, Bison, Giraffe, Zebra, Cheetah, Rhinoceroses, etc., live freely. Enjoy exciting African Safari experience in Japan. Later go to Ao-no Domon (Blue tunnel). One of the most famous tourist attractions in Kyushu. One Buddhist monk in Edo era had dug this 600 ft tunnel by hand. It took 30 years to complete. For those who wish to, you can walk through the chiseled tunnel and feel the monk’s indomitable spirit. Then go to our hotel close to Kokura train station and its shopping area. Upon arrival at hotel, tour guide will take you to Holo holo around the hotel.

MARCH 17 (SAT) KOKURA RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL KOKURA
Visit TOTO Museum. The world's most innovative toilet company, “TOTO” opened a new museum in 2015. It is a fun museum where you can learn everything about toilets and the transition of Japanese toilet culture. Later cross Kanmon Straits to get Shimonoseki, known by some great historical sea battles in Japanese history such as battle leading to the fall of the Heike clan (in 1185) and fight between Musashi Miyamoto and Kojiro Sasaki (in 1612). Visit famous Karato fish Market for some fun shopping for Dried Sea foods, seaweed, etc., with lively atmosphere. And good chance to eat fresh Sushi at the market (You can try it from 1 piece at your own expense). Enjoy shopping and lunch at Aeon Shopping Center before going back to the hotel. (Lunch & dinner will be at your own expense)
