MAY 27 (SUN) KOBE KOBE BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS (ONSEN) ♨
Arrive at Kansai Int’l Airport and after clearing government formalities, by bus to Rokko Island, Kobe. We will stay at a luxury hotel with Onsen Hot Spring Bath and located close to Monorail Station and Convenience Store.

MAY 28 (MON) SHODOSHIMA ISLAND BAY RESORT HOTEL SHODOSHIMA (ONSEN) ♨
In the morning, catch a ferry to Shodoshima Island, sailing through the Seto Inland Sea. This island is a very attractive spot with a Mediterranean Atmosphere and is called "Island of Olives" because it is the "Birth Place of Olive Cultivation in Japan". Upon arrival on the island ride a Ropeway to go up to breathtaking Kankakei Gorge, which ranks among “Japan’s Top Three Most Beautiful Gorges”. The gorge is filled with rocks shaped into unusual formation. From the upper-station you can see a nice panoramic view of islands and the peaceful Seto Inland Sea over the gorge. Then visit Olive Park offering attractive walking paths through the groves of century old olive trees. You may feel as if you are on a Mediterranean Island. Enjoy your stay at a refined resort hotel offering gorgeous view of the Kanrankei Mountains and gentle ocean. Soak and Relax in the Onsen Hot Spring and Open-Air Bath!

MAY 29 (TUE) TAKAMATSU JR HOTEL CLEMENT TAKAMATSU
Shodoshima island is also well known as the filming location of a popular movie “Twenty-Four Eyes”. The story of a school teacher and her first students of class in the lead up to WWII. Visit the “Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village”, where the movie set used for the filming is preserved. The entire reconstructed village including a school house, old houses, etc., convey a nostalgic atmosphere of past decades and is pleasant to explore. Visit the Tsukudani Factory producing the island’s popular local specialty. Tsukudani is a traditional Japanese food (simmered seafood, seaweed, etc. in soy sauce). The island’s tsukudani uses local soy sauce and has over 400 years of history. Also visit the Somen (thin wheat noodles) Museum featuring another famous local delicacy. The traditional method of preparation continues unchanged from 400 years ago. Then catch a ferry to Takamatsu, Central City in Shikoku. Our hotel is located close to Takamatsu Station and Shopping Area. After hotel check in, guide will take you Holo Holo around the hotel.

MAY 30 (WED) IMABARI IMABARI KOKUSAI HOTEL (ONSEN)♨
Visit Ritsurin Park, absolutely “One of the Finest Landscape Gardens in Japan”. This stroll-type landscape garden is exquisitely laid out with mounds, ponds, rocks and trees. Water Lily & Azalea will be in season to bloom. After enjoying famous a Sanuki Udon Lunch, go to the Besshi Copper Mine, which operated for 283 years since 1691 and once was the “World’s Biggest Copper Producing Mine”. Visit its Museum praised as “One of the Most Distinguished Mine Museums in Japan”. Model of the surface facilities of the mine and a wide range of materials related to the mine, etc., are exhibited. We will ride on miner train and walk inside an actual mine with dolls of miners showing how hard the work used to be. Then proceed to Imabari, known for production of the “World’s Highest Quality Towels” using only the highest quality raw material. It is highly praised as the comfort, reliability and safety towel. Visit the Towel Museum and see the process of making towels and displays of many types of towels with unique design. You can also purchase many different types of “High Quality Imabari Towels”. Then go to a nice city hotel that is a Landmark of Imabari. Enjoy Soaking in the Open Air Onsen Hot Spring Bath.

MAY 31 (THU) DOGO ONSEN HOTEL LUNA PARK (ONSEN) ♨
Enjoy driving on Shimanami Kaido (highway above the Seto Inland sea) with its spectacular island to island bridges, to enjoy the luxurious multi-isle beauty of the Inland Sea. Visit Murakami Suigun (Feudal Navy) Museum which commemorates a Samurai who sailed the area some 500 years ago. It displays valuable literature and unearthed articles used by the Suigun Navy to give you a memorable insight to Samurai Navy History. Next visit Yoshiumi Rose Garden where you can see various kinds of roses collected from all over the world (if timing is right). Enjoy strolling in the garden filled with colorful roses. Later visit Iyo Kasuri Fabrics Museum and enjoy shopping. Iyo kasuri is a “Famous Traditional Craft in Ehime Prefecture” and considered to be “One of the Three Prominent Splashed Pattern Textiles in Japan”. It has long been treasured for its “Simple Texture, Robust Cotton, Beautiful Indigo Color and Carefully Produced Design”. Then proceed to Dogo in Matsuyama, the “Oldest Hot Spring in Japan”, dating back 3,000 years! After hotel check in, we will take you to the Dogo Hot Spring Main Building, a “Proud Symbol of the Town” built in 1894. This historical edifice is the “First Hot Springs Facility” designated as an “Important Cultural Asset”. Enjoy Soaking and Relaxing in the Onsen Hot Spring Bath and Open-Air Bath of famous Dogo Onsen.

JUNE 1 (FRI) UWAJIMA HOTEL CLEMENT UWAJIMA
Go to Uchiko to visit its Old Town with beautiful streets lined with large stylish wealthy merchant houses from the 19th Century to Meiji Period. Feel a "Vestige of Traditional Rural Japan" while walking around the Historical District. Later head to Uwajima, known as the “Biggest Producer of Pearl”. Stop at the Pearl Center to enjoy shopping for fine quality Japanese Pearls. Also visit Tenshaen Garden, a quaint lovely Japanese Garden built in 1866 as a recreational venue by the ruling lord from the Date Clan. It is about the season when Iris Flower will be fully bloomed (depending on the climate). We will stay at a City Hotel connected to Uwajima Station.

JUNE 2 (SAT) KOCHI CROWN PALAIS NEW HANKYU KOCHI
Visit Osakana-kan Aquarium showcasing the fish and fauna of the Shimanto River called "Japan's Last Pristine River". Washi (traditional Japanese hand–made paper) has been catching the world’s attention since its registration on “UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity” list in 2014. Kochi is “One of Japan’s Premier Paper-Making Locations” with a 1,000 years history. We will be challenged in making our own “Traditional Tosa Washi Paper”. You can also learn the history and tradition of beautiful Tosa Washi Paper and purchase it. Then proceed to our hotel in Kochi. After hotel check in tour guide will take "those who wish to" to the symbol of the city "Kochi Castle" built in the 17th century. {Within Easy Walking Distance}

JUNE 3 (SUN) KOCHI CROWN PALAIS NEW HANKYU KOCHI
Kochi City is home to "Japan's Oldest Outdoor Marketplace". In the morning go to the Sunday Market which is the most notable street market that has been held since 1690. More than 500 stalls selling Kochi's varied local products such as Local Crafts, Antiques, Fruits, Vegetables, Clothes, Etc. Then visit Takagi Sake Brewery, with over 120 Years History. Kochi’s Sake is said to be good, dry and a ‘Treasure of Kochi”. We will see place where the “Sake is Made and Taste Their Sake” which has a refined taste. Kochi is well known for NHK’s TV Drama "Ryoma-den" the story about Sakamoto Ryoma who was a Samurai born in Kochi and has always been "One of Japan's Favorite Historical Figures". We will visit the Sakamoto Ryoma Museum to learn his history, works and the turbulent times before the Meiji Restoration in 1868. We will also see his notable statue at Katsurahama Beach. At lunch time taste "Katsuo (Bonito) Tataki" which is a famous local food in Kochi. Those who wish to can "Try Toasting Your Own Katsuo (Bonito)".

JUNE 4 (MON) NARUTO RENAISSANCE RESORT NARUTO (ONSEN) ♨
Go to Yasaka Shrine to see the "Oldest Cedar Tree in Japan" which is estimated to be over 3,000 years old and designated as a “National Special Natural Monument”. A tombstone with a portrait of Misora Hibari and a monument of her songs including "Kawa-no Nagare-no Youni" are close by. Then drive along Oboke Great Valleys with magnificent scenery of the rapids rushing through the gorge with sheer rocks. Next visit Kazura (Vine) Bridge “One of 3 Oddly Shaped Bridges in Japan” along with Kintaikyo Bridge & Saruhashi Bridge. This 148 feet long bridge made of vine is suspended 50 feet high above a stream. Later go to a nice resort hotel located in the Seto Inland Sea National Park in front of the Naruto Strait. Enjoy Soaking and Relaxing in the Onsen Hot Spring Bath with a beautiful ocean view. Enjoy a delicious Buffet Dinner in the evening featuring local seafood, vegetables, etc., including Naruto Tai (Snapper), Naruto sweet potato.

JUNE 5 (TUE) KOBE HOTEL CROWN PALAIS KOBE
Head to Awajishima Island the “Largest Island in the Seto Inland Sea” with a unique atmosphere different from Japan's mainland. In the morning enjoy a Uzushio (Whirling Tides) Viewing Cruise. Enjoy a fantastic experience while viewing the world-level whirlpool right up close on a large yacht type pleasure boat. Later visit Tako Senbei no Sato, a shop making famous Octopus Chips. You can taste lots of different flavored chips at the factory store. Also enjoy Shopping for Incense, Aroma Senko etc. Awajishima Incense uses natural scents to bring an authentic Japanese ambience. Later drive over the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge known as the "World's Longest Suspension Bridge (2.4 Miles Long)" to Kobe. Our hotel is conveniently located close to Kobe’s Popular Shopping and Amusement Area where you can enjoy shopping as well as the beautiful sights and tastes of Kobe. Tour guide will take you Holo-Holo to Shopping mall after hotel check in.

JUNE 6 (WED) KOBE HOTEL CROWN PALAIS KOBE
Head to Mt. Rokko and visit Hall of Halls Rokko exhibits various music boxes and automatic musical instruments including "One of the World's Largest Dance Organs". We will enjoy a fabulous music performance through the use of these instruments. Later visit Kobe Animal Kingdom, a fun and relaxing theme park featuring lovely birds, animals, and beautiful flowers. Enjoy walking around huge greenhouse filled with fully bloomed colorful flowers and birds, fish etc. And stop at Tsukemono (pickles) store carrying Konanzuke which is made with famous Nada Sake Lees. Later enjoy Lunch and Shopping at the AEON Shopping Center before going back to the hotel. (LUNCH and DINNER will be At Your Own Expense This Day). JUNE 7 (THU) HONOLULU {ONLY BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED THIS DAY}
At check-out time our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon proceed to Kansai (Osaka) Int'l Airport to catch a Japan Airlines flight in the evening to Honolulu arriving the same morning, JUNE 7 (THURSDAY). However, if a handicapped passenger accepted for the tour requires any form of special assistance, he/she must be accompanied by a qualified helper who takes total responsibility for the handicapped passenger’s well being.
