Arrive at Kansai Airport & after clearing government formalities, By bus to Kobe, 1 of major economic & population center in west Japan. Hotel is located in the new urban center of the Kobe waterfront area.
OCT. 7 (FRI) MT. WASHU,OKAYAMA,
SETOUCHI KOJIMA HOTEL
Head to Awaji Island, a wonderful resort area filled with beautiful nature and historic culture. We will visit Awaji Hana Sajiki Park for a panoramic view of the flower garden overlooking Akashi Strait. The season will be perfect for magnificent view of Salvia reminiscent of a large red carpet with the blue ocean as a backdrop. Later we will enjoy a Joruri Puppet Show accompany of Shamisen musician (Japanese traditional string instrument). This traditional Japanese art dates back about 500 years. After landing Shikoku Island by crossing Great Naruto bridge, visit newly opened in 2020 Bonsai-no Sato carrying 10,000 bonsai (Miniature art of ornamental grown shrub). The museum is an amazing place to see an impressive collection of exquisite bonsai trees that need countless hours of work to create. Then cross the 7.6-mile Great Seto Bridge a series of suspension bridges joining Shikoku island and Honshu (Japan’s main island), while viewing the magnificent scenery of Seto Inland sea. We'll visit Shimotsui Kaisen Donya, a restored former merchant house in Shimotsui port where the trading vessel “Kitamaebune” used to call its home port until Meiji period. Inside the house there are exhibits of the prosperous lifestyles of the merchants & several goods that were frequently used during this time. We'll stay resort hotel located high on the hill that has a gorgeous view overlooking Seto Inland Sea & the massive Great Seto Bridge.
OCT. 8 (SAT) HIROSHIMA,

Okayama is called "Fruit Kingdom." Enjoy Grape picking in season. Taste freshly picked juicy & sweet Okayama Grapes. Visit Fukuyama Castle celebrating 400th anniversary since it's originally constructed. 1966 reconstructed main castle tower is served as historical museum exhibits valuable articles, samurai armor, etc. You can enjoy spectacular movie showing history of Samurai era at the theater. Then head to Hiroshima. We'll visit Sera Highland Farm to see over 7,500 Dahlia flowers in bloom. Colorful dahlia flowers such as pink, orange, white, yellow of various sizes will overwhelm you. We'll stay 2 nights at hotel connected to Hiroshima train station building with numerous shops & restaurants. Tour guides will take you “Holo-Holo” after hotel check in.
OCT. 9 (SUN) HIROSHIMA,

Today we will visit the famous Kintai Bridge that was originally built in 1673 in the city of Iwakuni in Yamaguchi prefecture. This bridge is 1 of the 3 most gorgeous bridges in Japan. You'll marvel at the world’s largest wooden bridge while walking across this iconic bridge. Next, head to 1 of Japan's 3 most beautiful sites, Miyajima, an ancient sacred island, to see Itsukushima Shrine. This shrine has a history of over 1400 years also known worldwide as the “floating shrine” this iconic Torii gate is unique as it was built over water and at high tide it would appear as it was floating on the sea. And enjoy strolling along the Omotesando Shopping Street. Then head back to Hiroshima to visit the thoughtful Peace Park and see the Atomic Bomb Dome. This is the only Atomic bombed building that remained standing and has become the city’s symbol of hope and peace. We will also visit Peace Memorial Hall for Atomic Bomb Victims displaying the atomic bomb memories, stories from survivors and to mourn the victims.
OCT. 10 (MON) KYOTO,

This morning we walk to Hiroshima station to catch the Shinkansen bullet train traveling at speeds up to 198 mph offering you an exceptional travel experience. Upon arrival at Himeji station, we will transfer to the bus to Aeon Shopping Mall to enjoy shopping and lunch. Then we are off to Suntory Yamazaki Distillery (subject to change) producing the flagship line of Yamazaki single malt whisky that have won many international awards & praised as the World’s best whisky. You can try tasting whiskies that are unique to the distillery, including rare limited-edition whiskies (Tasting Prices from around 300 yen) Then we'll head to Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan from 794 to 1869. We'll stay 2 nights at hotel faces Kyoto Station & next to Aeon shopping mall that includes UNIQLO, 100 YEN shop, etc. After hotel check in, tour guides will take you “Holo-Holo” around the hotel.
OCT. 11 (TUE) KYOTO,

All day Kyoto city tour! Visit Kodai-ji Temple, an outstanding temple said to grant a happy married life because the temple was built by bereaved widow (Nene) in honor of her husband the famous Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 1606. You can admire a traditional Japanese garden, visit important cultural properties, wander through a bamboo grove, etc. Also visit Entokuin Temple, a tranquil sub-temple of Kodai-ji where Nene lived here for her remaining 19 years. This small little temple is known for its dry landscape garden with Tsuwabuki (Leopard Plant) blooming at this time of season. Then visit World Heritage site, Kiyomizu Temple, founded in 780 with its wooden stage that extends out from its main hall 40 feet above the hillside below which is well known for Japanese saying, “Jump from the balcony of Kiyomizu” which means “daring to do a hazardous action.” (Please do not actually jump!).

KATSUYAMA NEW HOTEL
Drive across Japan’s biggest lake by bridge crossing over Lake Biwa in Shiga prefecture before visiting Aito Marguerite Station to see over 700,000 Cosmos blooming while feeling refreshing Autumn breeze. You can try Gelato ice cream using fresh local milk from about 20 different flavors (own expense). Today's lunch will be famous Omi Beef, 1 of Japan's 3 Greatest Wagyu Brands. Then heading to Fukui. We'll visit Takefu Knife Village to learn about history & production of Echizen Cutlery that has 700 years history. You can enjoy shopping for their high-quality knives at their factory shop. Tonight’s hotel has a public indoor bath (Sorry! It is not an Onsen Hot Spring bath).
OCT. 13 (THU) TOYAMA,
TOYAMA EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU
Visit Yume Ole Katsuyama Textile Factory Memorial Hall used to operate as textile production facility from 1905 to 1998. Learn about their silk production with demonstration of original machinery that will make you feel as if you have gone back in time when raw silk was the main export item of Japan. Later enjoy shopping for Kutani Pottery that has long history that dates to the 17th century. This high quality Japanese craft with its vivid colors has attracted many overseas fans. Their selection ranges from daily used product to ones produced by living national treasure. Then proceed to Kanazawa, a vibrant and historically rich city with a number of must-see sights and attractions. Visit Ohmicho Market, Kanazawa’s most famous fresh food market for more than 280 years. You will see essential part of Kanazawa’s food culture while browsing around the “Kanazawa’s kitchen” with over 200 shops. Later visit Kanazawa’s main attraction “Kenrokuen Garden” 1 of 3 Japan’s most beautiful landscape gardens designated as National Cultural Property of Special Scenic Spot. Enjoy strolling around the beautiful Japanese garden that incorporates a fancy design with a variety of trees, ponds, and waterfalls that attains unsurpassed scenery. Then proceed to our hotel in Toyama City located near Toyama Train Station that connects to a department store with a ¥100 Yen Shop. Enjoy “Holo-Holo” and shopping after hotel check-in.

Enjoy a Whole Day Sightseeing Trip to the “Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.” This is a fascinating journey through glorious alpine scenery with a fantastic view of 9,045 feet high mountains filled with Autumn color leaves by the convenience of a Cable car, Bus, Ropeway, and Trolley bus. In the beginning, catch Cable car to Bijodaira station, then transfer to Bus to get Murodo station, the highest at 8,038 feet altitude station in Japan. After lunch, catch Trolley bus to get Daikanbo to enjoy seeing the magnificent scenery of Japan Alps. Then by Ropeway and Cable car to Kuroyon Dam. Traversing Japan’s tallest dam on foot is a definite highlight because of its scale and elevation. After getting Ogisawa station transfer back to our bus to proceed to our Onsen resort hotel in Azumino. Enjoy soaking in Onsen Hot Spring bath and Open air Jacuzzi.
OCT. 15 (SAT) LAKE KAWAGUCHI,

In the morning, enjoy driving through a rural scenery at the foot of the Japan Alps mountains ranges to visit Daio Wasabi Farm (the largest in Japan) that has been loved because of its picturesque beauty. You can enjoy peaceful strolling and shopping for Wasabi products. Then we'll enjoy Apple picking. Taste Nagano Apple in season, noted for its sweetness and great color. Next, stop at Herb Garden Tabi Nikki growing not only herbs but also Autumn flowers including Blue Salvia, Rose, Red Soba Flower, etc. Then we will head down to Lake Kawaguchi. On clear day, we'll see the symbol of Japan “Mt. Fuji” from a close distance (Weather permitting). Stop at Oishi Park, the north shore of the lake to see a plant called “Kochia” in fire burning red color with Mt. Fuji on its background. Your room has the picture window facing to Mt. Fuji. Enjoy soaking in Hot Spring bath.
OCT. 16 (SUN) IKEBUKURO, TOKYO,
This morning we will drive on the Fuji Subaru Line to the 5th Station (7,562ft in height) of Mt. Fuji which overlooks the Japan Alps, Fuji 5 lakes, etc. While driving you'll see the beautiful Autumn color. Then go to Oshino Shinobi-no Sato, a Ninja-themed village to enjoy exciting Ninja show! Its Japanese garden is also worth to see. Then to Ikebukuro, Tokyo, one of Tokyo’s multiple city centers. Hotel is located within easy walking distance to Shopping district. After hotel check in, tour guide will take you "Holo-Holo" to department store etc. (Lunch/dinner will be at your own expense)

At checkout time, our agents will come around to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. In the afternoon by bus to Narita Airport to catch Japan Airlines flight to Honolulu arriving the same morning, OCT. 17, (Monday) After clearing U.S. customs, proceed home. (Lunch/dinner will be at your own expense)
