Leave Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. A meal and snack will be served aboard the flight. Free Movies and Drinks.


OCT. 5 (THU)TSUKUBA,

HOTEL NIKKO TSUKUBA

Arrive at Haneda Int’l Airport and after entry formalities, proceed by bus to hotel in Tsukuba, Japan’s “Science City” filled with relaxing mood with many parks and open spaces. Hotel is located within walking distance to shopping area. Enjoy Holo Holo after hotel check in.


OCT. 6 (FRI)KINUGAWA ONSEN,

KINUGAWA HOTEL MIKAZUKI (ONSEN)

Head to Mashiko an authentic small countryside town of Japan. We’ll visit Cosmos festival. Cosmos flower viewing is a popular Japanese pastime in Autumn. If timing is right, colorful Ten million cosmoses will fill a huge 2 acre field. Then go to “World Heritage Wonderland” Nikko at the entrance to Nikko National Park. We will visit its main attraction “Toshogu Shrine” built 400 years ago as a magnificent mausoleum of the most famous samurai leader Tokugawa Ieyasu. It’s praised as Japan's most lavishly decorated shrine and Japan’s most photographed place. Countless wood carvings and large amounts of gold leaf were used to decorate the buildings in a way not seen elsewhere in Japan. You’ll see an elaborate and breathtakingly beautiful carvings that have been called “the pride of Japan.” Later go to Nikko Okaki Factory to enjoy hands on experience of “Grilling Senbei (rice cracker).” And you can buy fresh Senbei at the factory store. Then go to Kinugawa, one of Japan’s most famous Onsen Resort areas which is located at the upper stream of the Kinugawa river with rich natural surroundings. We will stay at beautiful Onsen Resort hotel which has over 20 varieties of Onsen Hot Spring bath such as Golden & Silver bath, Silk bath, Jet bath, etc. Enjoy theme park of Onsen Hot Spring bath of famous Kinugawa Hot Spring


OCT. 7 (SAT) MANZA HIGHLANDS,

MANZA KOGEN HOTEL (ONSEN)

Go to Ashikaga has great history known for an Ashikaga clan that once ruled Japan from 1336 until 1573. Its culture is symbolized with Ashikaga School, Japan's oldest school originally founded in the 9th century which certified as a Japan heritage and a National historic site. Once was the largest and most famous university in Japan. You will see unique architecture and the origins of Japan's education system as well. Later we will enjoy one of Japan’s most famous lucky charms at the Daruma Doll Painting Experience. Takasaki Daruma is particularly famous as lucky Daruma. You can hand paint your own Daruma doll. It will bring good luck to your home. Then head to Manza Highlands, located at 5,900 feet high and make it the highest elevation Hot Spring in Japan. Thus, it’s said to be "the closest Hot Spring to the stars.” This Hot Spring water is one of the highest sulfur content Hot Springs in Japan. Our hotel is famous for its "Rock garden Open-air bath" filled with milky Hot Spring water. Enjoy great Onsen experience after hotel check in.


OCT. 8 (SUN) OMACHI,

ANA HOLIDAY INN RESORT SHINANO-OMACHI KUROYON (ONSEN)

Head to Nagano, the symbolic mountain resort area which is home to many of Japan’s highest mountain peaks. Have fun Grape picking in season. Taste fresh and sweet Japanese grapes as many as you like! Then go to the quaint small town of Obuse, renowned for its charming streets with well-preserved historic buildings of which many are utilized as shops, restaurants, Sake breweries, etc. Obuse is known as "Chestnut Town" because of its delicious Chestnuts. We will enjoy Kuri Okowa (Mochi rice with Chestnuts) Lunch which is local food using local sticky Mochi rice and chestnut. It’s also perfect opportunity you can buy a variety of locally grown chestnuts products such as Chestnuts Yokan, Kuri paste, etc. Nagano is also famous for its Shinshu Miso which has been handed down by many premium miso manufacturers for over 720 years. We will visit Shioya Jyozo Miso Factory that producing miso by a unique traditional natural method for over 300 years. We will go inside of their Miso storehouse to see the process of making this local Shinshu Miso. You can sample their Miso soup and purchase their products. Later you will get a chance to try another famous local foods of Nagano “Oyaki bun.” This delicious and nutritiously balanced snack consist of a buckwheat bun stuffed with local vegetables or Anko bean paste. Then go to our hotel that is the first international resort in the area with spectacular natural surroundings. Enjoy nice view of the mountain landscape from your room and Onsen Hot Spring bath.


OCT. 9 (MON) KANAZAWA,

Enjoy a Whole Day Sightseeing Trip to the “Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.” This is a fascinating journey through glorious alpine scenery with a fantastic view of 9,045 feet high mountains filled with Autumn color leaves by the convenience of a Cable car, Bus, Ropeway, and Trolley bus. In the beginning, visit Kuroyon Dam. Traversing Japan’s tallest dam on foot is a definite highlight because of its scale and elevation. Then catch the under-mountain cable car to Kurobe daira and take the ropeway to Daikanbo to enjoy seeing the magnificent scenery of Japan alps. If timing is right, we'll see exquisite sight that autumn leaves dye in red and orange over mountain. Then board the tunnel bus for Murodo Plateau (8,038 ft high), Here is the highest altitude station in Japan. Then down to Tateyama and transfer by bus to Kanazawa, a vibrant and historically rich city with a number of must-see sights and attractions. We will stay hotel that is located close to Kanazawa train station with big shopping area carrying Kanazawa’s local specialties. You can enjoy shopping after hotel check-in.


OCT. 10 (TUE) KYOTO,

Visit Kanazawa’s main attraction “Kenrokuen Garden” one of three most beautiful landscape gardens in Japan designated as National Cultural Property of Special Scenic Spot. Enjoy strolling around the beautiful Japanese garden that incorporates a fancy design with a variety of trees, ponds, and waterfalls that attains unsurpassed scenery. Later enjoy shopping at big Nihonkai Fish Market. Nearly 70 shops carrying dried seafood, Seaweed and local souvenirs, etc., from Japan sea. Then we'll head to Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan from 794 to 1869. We will stay 2 nights at hotel faces Kyoto Station and next to Aeon shopping mall that includes UNIQLO, 100 YEN shop, etc. After hotel check in, tour guides will take you “Holo-Holo” around the hotel.


OCT. 11 (WED) KYOTO,

All day Kyoto City Tour! Enjoy the most historical city in Japan which was once awarded as the "World’s best city to travel" by the US magazine Travel+Leisure. We will visit magnificent Heian Jingu Shrine with beautiful Japanese garden named "Shin-en” or “God's Garden" that is designated as a National Scenic Spot. Enjoy peaceful walk through stroll-style landscape garden with a variety of plants, ponds and traditional buildings. Later enjoy shopping at the Kyoto Handicraft Center carrying Kyoto’s beautiful & skillfully handcrafted items and specialty goods. We’ll also visit Kinkakuji Temple, known as the famed “Golden Pavilion” situated picturesquely over the reflecting pond. This temple was chosen as "One of Japan's 36 most beautiful places" by CNN and often called “Kyoto’s most impressive sight.”


OCT. 12 (THU) OKAYAMA,

Today head to Himeji, an attractive town filled with many interesting and historical sights. We will visit Japan’s best preserved feudal castle and designed as Japan’s 1st World Heritage site Himeji Castle. The “White Heron Castle” with her elegant white appearance is widely considered “Most beautiful and spectacular castle in Japan.” You can step back 400 years and picture yourself in the World of the Samurai. This castle is also chosen as "One of Japan's 36 most beautiful places" by CNN. Later we proceed to Okayama and visit its most famous tourist spot “Korakuen Park” another one of the three best landscape gardens in Japan. This representative Japanese Garden was created about 300 years ago in the Edo Period. Enjoy strolling around beautiful landscape garden including a large pond, streams, walking paths. Our hotel is located by a big Aeon Shopping Mall where you can enjoy shopping after hotel check in.


OCT. 13 (FRI) HIROSHIMA,

Head to Hiroshima, the metropolis in the west of Japan's main island. We will visit Kawanaka Shoyu factory producing their Shoyu using traditional techniques passed down for 115 years. You can enjoy shopping of their products including Shoyu that just awarded “2022 Best 5 Shoyu in Japan.” Then go to the thoughtful Peace Park and see the Atomic Bomb Dome. This is the only Atomic bombed building that remained standing and has become the city’s symbol of hope and peace. We will also visit Peace Memorial Museum. It is the most important museum of Hiroshima, detailing the history of the first atomic bomb. We will stay 2 nights at hotel connected to Hiroshima train station building with numerous shops and restaurants carrying local goodies of Hiroshima. Tour guides will take you “Holo-Holo” after hotel check in.


OCT. 14 (SAT) HIROSHIMA,

Today we will visit the famous Kintai Bridge that was originally built in 1673 in the city of Iwakuni in Yamaguchi prefecture. This bridge is one of the three most gorgeous bridges in Japan. You will marvel at the world’s largest wooden bridge while walking across this iconic bridge. Next, head to one of Japan's three most beautiful sites, Miyajima, an ancient sacred island which has a history of over 1,400 years. We will visit Itsukushima Shrine, known worldwide as the “floating shrine.” This shrine is also another CNN’s One of Japan's 36 most beautiful places. This iconic Torii gate just finished its renovation works. It would appear as it was floating on the sea during high tide. You can also enjoy strolling and shopping along the Omote sando street.


OCT. 15 (SUN) KOBE,

HOTEL CROWN PALAIS KOBE

Walk to Hiroshima station to catch Shinkansen bullet train offering an amazing experience by train with speed reaching up to 198 mph. After getting off the train, we transfer by bus to AEON Shopping Mall to enjoy shopping and lunch. Then proceed to Kobe. Nada is Japan’s biggest Sake producing area. We will visit the Hakutsuru Sake Brewery to enjoy the fine taste of the famous Nada Sake and see a short movie about Sake in English. We will stay at hotel that is conveniently located close to Kobe’s popular shopping and amusement area where you can enjoy shopping as well as the beautiful sights and tastes of Kobe. (Lunch / dinner will be at your own expense)


OCT. 16 (MON) KOBE / HONOLULU,

At checkout time our agent will come around to tape & tie up the boxes and take the baggage’s to be checked-in down. We will leave the hotel by bus to Itami Airport to catch our domestic flight to Haneda Int’l Airport. Upon arrival at Haneda, transfer to International Airline Flight to Honolulu. Arrive in Honolulu the same morning, OCT 16 (Mon). After clearing U.S. Customs, proceed home. (Lunch / dinner will be at your own expense)
