Departing Daniel K. Inouye International Airport on Japan Airline Flight #73 at 11:55 A.M. A meal and snack will be served aboard the flight. Free Movies and Drinks.


25 NOV (MON) ARIAKE – TOKYO,

VILLA FONTAINE GRAND TOKYO ARIAKE

Arrive at Haneda International Airport at 3:55 P.M. and after entry formalities, proceed by bus to our hotel in Ariake, this new commercial district in Tokyo Bay Area. We will be staying 2 nights at our newly opened hotel with nearby shopping. The hotel is connected to a newly opened shopping mall with over 200 shops and restaurants including Daiso, 300 Yen Shop, Supermarket, Craft supply store, Toy store, and etc. After hotel check-in enjoy some free time to go shopping or meet relatives. Tour guides will take you “Holo-Holo” to the shopping mall.


26 NOV (TUE) ARIAKE – TOKYO,

VILLA FONTAINE GRAND TOKYO ARIAKE

This morning we will go to the biggest fish market in the world, Tokyo Metropolitan Wholesale Market in Toyosu that is the replacement site of the world famous Tsukiji Market. We will visit Uogashi Yokocho Market, a retail shopping area that contains over 70 shops selling non-perishable food items, processed foods, Tsukemono pickles, Japanese tea, professional kitchen knives, etc. It will be impressive and interesting shopping experience with the lively atmosphere of the market in Japan. Next, we will head to the site of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games in Jingu Gaien. We will drive by the National Olympic Stadium and visit Japan Olympic Museum. You will learn all about the history and significance of the Olympic and Paralympic Games by the interactive multimedia exhibits. Outside the museum you will be able to take a picture in front of the iconic symbol of the Olympics “The Olympic Rings.” Next, head to Ameyoko Shopping Street with over 400 shops is called “Tokyo’s most charismatic shopping paradise of amazing deals” with a huge selection of discounts on dried seafood, sweets, snacks, clothes, bags, cosmetics, etc. Enjoy strolling through this amazing bustling and lively shopping district with the charming atmosphere of historic downtown Tokyo. After going back to hotel, you can continue shopping at the shopping mall that is right next to our hotel.


27 NOV (WED) KINSHICHO - TOKYO,

TOBU HOTEL LEVANT TOKYO

In the morning, we will visit Former Tokugawa Akitake residence and garden that offers a beautiful combination of landscape features with a stately Edo period house, Japanese garden with arbors and groves separated by a lawn. This 139-year-old residence was built for Tokugawa Akitake who was one of the heirs of the ruling shogun family. This historical house was designed as a Samurai style house with modern Meiji period style. You can enter the guest rooms and look down at the spectacular scenery of downtown Tokyo and even see Mt. Fuji if the weather is clear. It is interesting to imagine how the noble lord lived in the end of Samurai period. It is expected to perfect season for Autumn colors. The gardens in Autumn color are a lovely place for photography. Next, we will go to Sugamo, a half a mile long flat shopping street lined with over 200 shops that sell clothing, traditional food and goods mainly targeted toward the elderly. You will see a lot of Japanese traditional snacks, sweets, Japanese tea and food which Japanese seniors love (e.g. Salt Daifuku Manju, Anpan). When you walk on the main street, you will know why this place is called "Grandma's paradise." Then we will proceed to Kinshicho, the biggest commercial district in Tokyo. Tonight’s hotel is located next to 3rd largest shop of Daiso the largest 100 Yen shop chain. You can enjoy the amazing 100 Yen shopping with unbelievable finds after hotel check in. This huge Daiso shop has everything you need. You can shop till you drop in the labyrinth of 100 Yen shopping!


28 NOV (THU) KISARAZU - CHIBA,

RYUGUJO SPA HOTEL MIKAZUKI (ONSEN) ♨

Visit Tsukiji Outer Market. Tsukiji Wholesale Market was closed but Tsukiji's Outer Market did not close and about 400 restaurants and vibrant shops with a mixture of wholesale and retail shops remains in business. You will be able to encounter all kinds of traditional Japanese foods and food-related goods such as kitchen knives, utensils, etc. It will be good chance to try “Tabe Aruki” or “Eating around” of amazing Japanese street foods such as ramen, sushi, fresh seafood, Grilled eel skewer, Musubi, etc. Then proceed to Chiba to visit Aeon shopping mall Makuhari New City for shopping and lunch. It is the second biggest Aeon shopping mall consists of 4 malls with 360 specialty stores. You can find almost everything at this massive shopping mall. Later, we will enjoy popular seasonal attraction Mikan Tangerine picking. Mikan Tangerine is the most popular winter fruit in Japan. You can taste the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, tart and mellow flavor. We will stay at Onsen resort hotel located in front of Tokyo Bay. Enjoy the large-scale Onsen Hot Spring baths which called “Onsen theme park” with a total of 70 types of spas and baths such as Open-air bath overlooking Tokyo Bay and Mt. Fuji in distance, Golden bathtub (market value of a million dollar!), Yuzu bath, Herb bath, etc. Enjoy traditional Japanese Kaiseki dinner in the evening.


29 NOV (FRI) KAWASAKI,

HOTEL METROPOLITAN KAWASAKI

We will visit Koizumi Sake Brewery which producing Sake for 230 years. It will be the season they are brewing this year’s new Sake that   made from newly harvested rice. You can sample different type of Sake and purchase from many varieties including famous “Tokai Zakari daiginjo” and limited edition only can buy at the brewery. Ice cream containing Daiginjo Sake is also popular. Today’s lunch will be popular Seafood BBQ with local seafood, shellfish, meats, vegetables, fruits, etc., in a buffet style. Enjoy delightful seafood grills as much as you like! Later visit Hattendo Cream Bun factory. Hattendo is the internationally renowned bakery in Japan which is producing so popular "ultimate" cream bun filled with a rich cream inside. Here, you can experience the process of making "ultimate" cream bun. Make and taste your one and only original cream bun at the newly opened their cafe. Then head back to Tokyo via the Tokyo Bay Aqua Line, known as Trans Tokyo Bay Highway which is 10 miles marine crossing bridge and tunnel through the Tokyo Bay. We will stop at Umi Hotaru parking area jutting out from the ocean. Enjoy shopping for local specialties of Tokyo, Kanagawa and Chiba prefecture with a giant 360-degree panoramic view of Tokyo Bay. We will proceed to Kawasaki, the third largest city in the Tokyo metropolitan area. We will stay 2 nights at hotel which is located close to Kawasaki train station and shopping complexes including the Lazona Shopping mall with over 300 shops. Tour guides will take you to shopping area after hotel check in.


30 NOV (SAT) KAWASAKI,

HOTEL METROPOLITAN KAWASAKI

Go to Asakusa, Tokyo’s most visited tourist destination which is known for the great historical complex with old downtown atmosphere. We will visit Sensoji Temple the oldest temple in Tokyo originally built in the 7th century. Here is Not just for traditional culture but for abundance of shopping opportunities. You will be able to walk through and shop at Nakamise Shopping Street that is lined with many traditional souvenir shops and food stalls. In the surrounding area, you will also discover many discount drugstores, traditional crafts stores, Japanese snack shops, providing a delightful opportunity to explore these unique offerings of an exciting mix of Old and New Tokyo. Next, we will go to Skytree Town, a large shopping and entertainment complex right at the foot of a 2,080 feet high Tokyo Skytree. It is one of Tokyo’s biggest sightseeing spots and boasts a plenty of authentic Japanese food and unique, traditional souvenirs. After going back to our hotel, enjoy shopping around Kawasaki station area.


01 DEC (SUN) YOKOHAMA,

YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS

We will visit Japan Open-Air Folk House Museum, an outdoor museum preserving Twenty-five traditional Japanese houses which were relocated to here from all over Japan. You will see traditional farmhouses, samurai houses, merchant houses, houses from post towns, homes from fishing villages and a kabuki stage. All are set in a beautiful landscape. You will feel like you are taking a trip back in time while walking. Later visit the State Guest House in Akasaka which is used as a venue for meetings and hospitality when kings, heads of state, and other foreign dignitaries visit. The current President Joe Biden and former presidents of USA have been welcomed by Japan at this opulent palace. It’s one of the largest buildings constructed during the Meiji period (1868-1912). This National Treasure Palace building has several reception and dining rooms with elaborately decorated walls and furnishings. When the Palace is not in use, we will be able to explore some of the opulent rooms and picturesque gardens. Then proceed to Yokohama, 2nd largest city in Japan. We will enjoy driving through Yamashita Park Avenue that is bustling street in Yokohama’s most popular sightseeing area. If timing is right, streets are covering in a golden carpet of ginkgo leaves. It's a special treat during winter. We will stay 2 nights at the hotel which is good for shopping within easy walking distance to department stores, underground shopping mall, big electronics store, 100 Yen shop, etc. After hotel check in, tour guides will take you "Holo-Holo" around the hotel.


02 DEC (MON) YOKOHAMA,

YOKOHAMA BAY SHERATON HOTEL & TOWERS

In the morning we will visit Yokohama Wholesale Market to buy Japanese traditional foods such as Tsukemono pickles, Umeboshi, etc., at wholesale price. Then head to Ginza in central Tokyo. We will visit futuristic Art Aquarium Museum that is famous for an incredible "Living Art Exhibition" with colorful goldfish that is a staple in Japanese culture on display. You will see more than 30,000 goldfish swimming in sculpture-like glass tanks of various shapes and colors, lit with moving projections and multicolored lights. Wandering through the exhibition rooms that designed to be a treat for the eyes and ears that aim to collaborate Japanese culture and history with modern digital art. Immerse yourself in this dreamlike world of glittering spectacles created by a colorful array of goldfish gracefully swimming through tanks with fantastic kaleidoscopic and magnifying effects that create. After going back to our hotel, Free Time to continue shopping, packing, or relax in your room. (Lunch & Dinner will be at your own expense)


03 DEC (TUE) YOKOHAMA / HONOLULU

At checkout time our agents will come to tape and tie-up the boxes and take the baggage to be checked-in down. We will proceed by bus to Haneda International Airport to catch Japan Airline Flight #74 departing at 9:00 P.M. Upon arrival we will check in for our international flight to Honolulu. Arrive in Honolulu the same day 03 DEC (TUE) After clearing U.S. Customs, proceed home.  (Lunch & Dinner will be at your own expense.) 


Clients remaining back will be assisted in obtaining plane, train, and hotel reservations. Members may return to Honolulu individually, but no later than 90 days from day of departure. Weekend returns will cost more per person. Please call our office if you are extending your stay. MAHALO!
