5 JUL (SUN) HONOLULU,
Leave Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. A meal and Snacks will be served aboard the flight, along with free movies and drinks.
6 JUL (MON) CHITOSE,
ANA CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL CHITOSE
Arrive at Haneda International Airport, and after clearing government formalities, transfer your connecting flight to Chitose Airport in Hokkaido. Upon arrival, go directly to the hotel by bus (15 minutes from the airport). We will stay two nights at the hotel next to Aeon Supermarket.
7 JUL (TUE) CHITOSE,

Hokkaido occupies one-fifth of Japan's land area and is filled with spectacular and rare scenes of nature. We will visit Lake Utonai, the conservation wetland designated as a National Wildlife Protection Area and registered as the Wetlands of International Importance under the Ramsar Convention. This fresh water lake is a treasure trove of wild birds. Its Observatory gives you uninterrupted 360 degree view of marshlands and forests along the lake. This is the best location where you can enjoy the rich nature of Hokkaido. Later visit world-renowned Kikkoman Shoyu Factory. They are #1 soy sauce producer has been making traditionally brewed soy sauce and soy sauce based seasonings to the world. We will see the process of making Shoyu and purchase them. We will visit Hakone Dude Ranch where you can wonder around a spacious grassland with plenty of cows, bulls, and lonely horses. It’s a very popular tourist attraction where can enjoy pleasant and fun Farm Experience Activities. We will enjoy Making Creamy Caramel Candies from freshly milked milk. Hokkaido is producing over 50% of Japan's milk. Hokkaido milk has a mild, almost vanilla-like flavor and a rich taste. This really soft candy has fresh, melt-in-your-mouth texture and rich, milky flavor. In addition, their Ranch Shop also offers delicious soft-serve ice cream made with dairy fresh milk.
8 JUL (WED)LAKE TOYA,
TOYAKO MANSEIKAKU HOTEL LAKESIDE TERRACE (ONSEN) ♨
Go to National Ainu Museum and Park, only one National Museum in northern Japan which immerse yourself in the culture of the indigenous “Ainu people”, the aborigines in Hokkaido. You will experience various aspects of Ainu culture and lifestyle at this open-air museum. We will see their traditional dance and singing that is listed on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Hokkaido is one of the leading gourmet cities in Asia. Hokkaido’s prized Wagyu beef is especially famous. We will taste Shiraoi Wagyu beef Sukiyaki for lunch. This world's famous delicacy was served at the "2008 G8 Hokkaido Toyako Summit" dinner and the luncheon hosted by the prime minister of Japan. Then head to, Lake Toya nestled within the scenic Shikotsu Toya National Park. This lake is praised as "1 of 3 most impressive landscapes in Hokkaido" and chosen as "1 of 36 of Japan's most stunning places" by CNN. We will stay at the resort hotel located in front of beautiful Lake Toya for two nights. You will see this mysterious lake whose expression changes momentarily. After a big buffet dinner filled with Hokkaido foods, enjoy a spectacular Lakeside firework show right from your room. You can relax in the Onsen Hot Spring bath and Open Air bath with beautiful lake view.
9 JUL (THU) LAKE TOYA,
TOYAKO MANSEIKAKU HOTEL LAKESIDE TERRACE (ONSEN) ♨
Visit Japan’s first UNESCO Global Geopark area of Lake Toya and Mt. Usu. This magnificent natural wonder will give you an unforgettable impression with its stunning landscapes and rich geological history. Mt. Usu is “One of the most active volcanoes in Japan.” You will discover the awe-inspiring beauty of this active volcano from Mt. Usu Rope Way, offering an aerial adventure to give you spectacular bird's-eye views of nature with lake and volcanos. Newly opened Mt Usu Terrace is a fantastic spot where you can leisurely enjoy a 360-degree panoramic views. Enjoy sweeping view of Mt. Usu up close with swirls of white smoke over the shimmering Lake Toya below. We will also see another active volcano “Showa Shinzan” that is one of Japan’s youngest mountains and designated as a Special National Monument. You can feel the breath of the earth when you see an incredible contrast of colors of this steamy red volcano against the blue lake water and sky. And visit Mt Usu Volcano Science Museum with visual displays of eruption complete with a special sound system with English narration. Then we will visit Marine Park Nixe, the hybrid theme park combines Hokkaido’s largest aquarium with Danish theme park. Its Aquarium is home to about 400 species and 20,000 sea creatures. You will see sharks and rays swimming leisurely right before your eyes, Hokkaido's largest jellyfish tank, immerse yourself in the feeling of taking a stroll under the ocean at the fantastic Aqua Tunnel, etc. It’s amazing to see spectacular “Music and Light Show” with 10,000 sardines swimming in sequence creating a colorful reflection of the sardines that resembles the Milky Way. Tonight, we will enjoy Japanese Kaiseki dinner in the evening.
10 JUL (FRI) OTARU,
GRAND PARK OTARU
Visit Kyogoku Waterpark located at the foot of spectacular Mt. Yotei. A beautiful river runs through the park with a spout that distributes crystal clear water from Mt.Yotei. Here, you can taste fresh “One of the top one hundred purest spring waters in Japan” and immerse yourself in the natural beauty and tranquility of Hokkaido. Then we will stop at Mushroom Kingdom which is a specialty grocery store with different kinds of dried mushrooms, jams and pickled vegetables that are made from local ingredients. If you like, you can taste the “Japan’s top selling Miso soup” which made with fresh local grown mushrooms. Later have fun picking and tasting Japanese Cherry in season. These cherries are very different from the American Cherries. Japanese Cherry is juicier with an excellent balance of sweet and sour. Then proceed to Otaru, regarded as one of the most picturesque cities in Japan thanks to a romantic cityscape steeped in a rich history dates back to 19th century. We will visit the historical Herring Mansion. The Herring fishing industry had a major role in the history of Otaru. This large mansion was built for one of three leading herring fishing tycoons. The power and wealth of fishermen during the height of the herring era is reflected in the historic residence. We will stay 2 nights at a five-star hotel connected to a big shopping complex with Supermarket, 100-Yen shop, Home improvement store, etc. Enjoy shopping after hotel check-in!
11 JUL (SAT) OTARU,
GRAND PARK OTARU
Hokkaido is one of Japan’s leading wine grape producing regions. We will visit Otaru Wine Gallery, located on the hill overlooking the city of Otaru and the Otaru bay. Hokkaido Wine Co., Ltd is the largest winery in Japan. They only use grapes harvested in Hokkaido and have won many awards both in Japan and internationally. You can enjoy tasting and purchase “Hokkaido-produced wine.” Then head to Center of Otaru city which still remains atmosphere of the good old days in a 19th century with many historical western style buildings, nostalgic warehouses, etc. We will visit one of Otaru’s most important places Otaru Canal, symbolic spot creates the sense of nostalgia with well-preserved old warehouses lining canal. We will enjoy Boat Cruising. It’s a nice relaxing cruise that gives you a different perspective of the historic buildings from canals. Then enjoy strolling around the Sakaimachi, an attractive, preserved street lined with old merchant shops from the 1800's. You can visit Otaru Glassware Store, famous trademark of Otaru with the brilliant and delicate glasses creating refreshing atmosphere. Here, you can find a wide variety of glassware such as glass accessories and utensils. It’s also interesting to visit Music box Museum carrying a large collection of beautiful and intricate music boxes that can be purchased.
12 JUL (SUN) ASAHIKAWA,
HOTEL ROUTE-INN GRAND ASASAHIKAWA EKIMAE (ONSEN) ♨
Visit the site of the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics large hill ski jumping Okurayama Ski Jump stadium. You will be surprised how steep the Ski Jump Slope is. If you wish to you can try riding Ski lift to go up to observatory looking down spectacular Sapporo city. Then head to Iwamizawa to visit Hokkaido’s largest Rose Garden with 630 types of roses in bloom. This will be the perfect time to take a leisurely strolling around big garden filled with colorful roses. Enjoy beautiful scenery of the vast spacious green fields while driving on the highway to Sunagawa Highway Oasis, big shopping place where you can buy Hokkaido’s major local specialties. Then proceed to Asahikawa, Our hotel is located close to Asahikawa train station and Aeon Shopping Mall. After hotel arrival, tour guide will take you Holo-Holo around the hotel. You can also enjoy a relaxing soak in Onsen Hot Spring bath.
13 JUL (MON) SHIROGANE ONSEN,

We will visit Takasago Sake Brewery, one of Hokkaido’s most respected Sake breweries. This long-established Sake brewery brews their famous Sake with high-quality Hokkaido rice and fresh snow water from Mt. Taisetsu that is indispensable for brewing Sake. You can taste fresh “Genuine Hokkaido Sake” and purchase it. Then head to Biei which offers so much spectacular views that elements of it regularly appear in promotional media for Hokkaido. It will be the best season to visit to see the pleasant and picturesque rural landscapes created by hills with various fields. One of its highlights is breathtaking views of Patchwork Hill with tremendous fields and hills covered with various colors of shrubbery. You will be amazed by the dramatic landscape that resembles huge patchwork. The sight is out of this world. Then visit Shikisai Flower Garden, a panoramic and expansive flower garden which provides an enthralling nature experience on a scale that is only available in Hokkaido. Enjoy amazing colors and fragrances of several dozen different flowers that carpet the hill. Then go to see the breathtaking Shirogane Blue pond a stunning sight that almost looks otherworldly with its unreal blue color with rich natural surroundings. It’s been a world famous tourist attraction site in Hokkaido. Our hotel is in secluded Shirogane Hot Spring Town. Upon arrival at the hotel, your tour guide will take you to see a beautiful waterfall and cobalt blue river near the hotel. The flowing blue river and the starkly contrasting white of the rushing falls create a truly spectacular sight. Good chance to soak in 100% pure hot spring water at Onsen Hot Spring bath and Open-air bath.
14 JUL (TUE) TOKACHI,
SAHORO RESORT HOTEL
Head to world-renowned “Furano”, with its breathtaking Lavender flowers in bloom. Hokkaido’s seasonal highlight in July is “Lavender”! Here, Furano is Hokkaido's most popular spot for lavender fields that spread like a purple carpet surrounded by the spectacular mountain views and full of nature. We will visit Farm Tomita, another “1 of Japan’s 36 most beautiful places” selected by CNN. Enjoy a spectacular view of the magnificent “Purple Carpet” Lavender fields with Mt. Taisetsu and Tokachi mountain range as a backdrop. You can see the beautiful colors of nature at its highest. After lunch, enjoy “All you can eat” famous Furano Melon which is sweet, juicy, and melts in your mouth. Tonight’s accommodation is a nice resort hotel surrounded by nature here you can enjoy a big public bath and open-air bath (Sorry! Not Onsen hot spring) and enjoy peaceful walk around the hotel garden in the morning.
15 JUL (WED) SAPPORO,

Enjoy an unforgettable and thrilling experience at Bear Mountain, the Jurassic Park-like facility where you will get a chance for a up close look of the Brown bear, the largest land animal in Japan. Here, you can safely see them up close from a caged bus in their natural habitat. At the central observation point, large glass windows will let you stare eyeball to eyeball with the bears. Later visit newly opened in 2022, Royce’ Cacao & Chocolate Town. Royce’ is Hokkaido’s iconic chocolate company renowned for their high-quality and innovative chocolates which are must-buy and timeless souvenir of Hokkaido. Their museum has become popular as an attraction where tourists can get a variety of fresh Royce’ Chocolate products. Later go to Sapporo, Hokkaido’s capital and largest city. We will stay 2 nights at hotel located easy walking distance to Sapporo train station with a department store and underground shopping mall. Tour guide will take you Holo-Holo after hotel check in.
16 JUL (THU) SAPPORO,
KEIO PLAZA HOTEL SAPPORO
Enjoy shopping for Dried Seafood, Processed marine products, Hokkaido specialties, etc., at the Sapporo Central Wholesale Market where Hokkaido goodies come together at the wholesale price. Then visit Sapporo TV Tower the symbol of Sapporo city. From 296 feet high observation deck take in the panoramic view of the city and surrounding Mountains while enjoying the beautiful seasonal view of Odori Central Park. Then enjoy lunch and shopping at Ario Shopping Mall, located next to Sapporo Beer Museum, home to one of Japan’s flagship beers. For those who wish to, you can visit the museum introduces the history of beer in Japan and the process of beer making. After seeing exhibitions, you can teste freshly brewed beer (own expense). Later go to Yurigahara Lily Park a fantastic sigh to stroll and enjoy the fresh air and nature. Lilies should be the best season with about 100 different types blooming throughout the park. After going back to the hotel, Free Time to finish Shopping, Packing, etc. (Lunch & Dinner will be at your own expense.)
17 JUL (FRI) SAPPORO / HONOLULU,
At checkout time our agent will come to tape and tie-up our boxes and take down baggage to be checked in down. We will leave the hotel by bus to Chitose Airport to catch our domestic flight to Haneda International Airport. Upon arrival, transfer to International Flight to Honolulu. Arrive in Honolulu the same morning, 17 July (Friday). After clearing U.S. Customs, proceed home. (Lunch & Dinner will be at your own expense.)
