We are ready to

welcome you back to Japan!

Thank you very much for waiting soooooo long to visit Japan again. Finally Japan will reopen from 2022 June 10th, initially limited to visitors in escorted tours like our Japan tours.

Japan’s strict border controls eased from today. In regards to U.S. citizens with fully vaccinated (completed at least 3rd booster shot), "Arrival Testing is not required" and "Quarantine is not required." Japan has also simplified the required paperwork and the screening process, eliminating a lot of the paperwork to enter Japan.

The Japan Tourism Agency has announced guidelines to prevent the spread of infection and ensure the safe travels for international travelers. It can be summarized as below.

Measures to prevent infection

Follow the Japanese rules. You need to wear a mask, disinfect your hands, avoid the “three Cs” (confined and enclosed spaces, crowded places, and close-contact settings) for maintaining physical distance, avoiding talking loudly and congregating.

Purchase private medical insurance that covers medical expenses related to COVID-19 infection and provides adequate coverage and service.

All travelers must apply for entrance visa to Japan at the Consulate General of Japan in Honolulu or other local consulate or embassy.

Emergency measures, such as in the event of a visitor testing positive

★In the event of a positive case, the affected tour member should be promptly removed from the tour group and examined at a medical institution. It should be explained to other tour members that if they are not close contacts, they can continue with the tour.

★Tour guides should take appropriate measures to identify the range of persons in close contact with the affected tour member in the event of a positive outbreak.

Our requests during the tours

★Please measure your body temperature every morning and night time. Tour guides will ask you your temperature every morning before the tour starts.

★Tour guides will kindly ask you to request to report any symptoms of COVID-19 infection including fever, respiratory symptoms, fatigue, etc.

★Please use assigned seat that tour guides will assign for you in order to properly identify the range of persons who have come into contact with the virus.

★Please follow the instructions or requests from your tour guides while traveling in Japan.
