Welcome to the 2026 Season

As we welcome the summer season, Tohoku Travel & Yokohama Travel are excited to continue our 2026 travel adventures across Japan.

Departing soon are two of our most popular journeys: Tour #10: Shinryoku Travel Through Northern Japan to Hokkaido, featuring the beautiful green season of Northern Japan and Hokkaido, and Tour #11: Snow Wall, beginning in Yokohama and ending in Nagoya while experiencing the breathtaking Snow Wall of the Japan Alps.

We also currently have limited availability on several exciting upcoming tours:

• Tour #16: Summer Hokkaido — Visit the stunning lavender fields at Tomita Farm and enjoy all-you-can-eat famous Yubari Melon.

• Tour #17: Explore Hokkaido Northern Most Island — Journey to Wakkanai, visit Rebun Island, and stay overnight on scenic Rishiri Island with the possibility of seeing Russia on clear days.

• Tour #18: Discover a Relaxing Japan — Experience Japan’s famous rice paddy art, visit Kusatsu Onsen and the traditional Yumomi show, and enjoy a two-night stay at the serene Sierra Resort Hakuba.

• Tour #21: Trail of the Samurai — Follow the life and legacy of the undefeated samurai Miyamoto Musashi, author of The Book of Five Rings.

• Tour #22: Southern Kyushu Bocha Bocha — Relax with eight days of onsens while learning about Saigo Takamori, the end of the Samurai era, and visiting the historic Kamikaze training airfield.

Notice Regarding Yen Payments for 2026 Tours

Effective January 1, 2026, Tohoku Travel Office will no longer accept payments in Japanese Yen. However, for those who would like to pay in Yen for any 2026 tours, you have until December 31, 2025, to make payments to the Tohoku Travel Office. 

Customers still have the option to pay in Yen for all future Japan Tours. Customers will be responsible for carrying Yen payments to Japan, which must be made in person, directly to Yokohama Travel. Note: Any combined amount exceeding $10,000 must be declared. For more information, please refer to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection link. You will also have to declare to Japan Customs.
