Notice Regarding Yen Payments for 2026 Tours

Effective January 1, 2026, Tohoku Travel will no longer accept payments in Japanese Yen.

For customers who wish to pay in Yen for 2026 tours, payment must be made directly to Yokohama Travel in Japan upon arrival.

If you would like to pay in Yen in advance, please complete the payment by December 31, 2025.

Veterans Day Observance

In honor of Veterans Day, our office will be closed on Monday, November 10th, and Tuesday, November 11th.

We will reopen with regular business hours on Wednesday, November 12th.

We take this time to recognize and honor the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice protect the freedoms we cherish.

🦃 Thanksgiving Office Closure Notice.

In celebration of Thanksgiving, our office will be closed from Tuesday, November 25th, through Friday, November 28th.

The tradition of giving thanks has deep roots in American history, dating back to harvest celebrations among Indigenous peoples and later adopted by early settlers in the 17th century. In 1863, President Abraham Lincoln declared Thanksgiving a national day dedicated to gratitude and unity. Today, the holiday continues to be a time for reflection, appreciation, and gathering with loved ones. 🍂
